"Chef Linton Hopkins’ Restaurant Eugene in Buckhead offers what is likely Atlanta’s only dessert tasting menu. Pastry chef — and three-time James Beard award nominee — Jen Yee added the $22 three-course tasting a few weeks ago. It includes a small glass of sparkling wine, a prelude or amuse-bouche, a main dessert, and mignardises like petit fours." - Beth McKibben

This is one of the most difficult reviews to write. The hospitality and service deserve 10 stars, pricing 1 star, taste of food maybe 3-4. Hospitality and service are top-notch. Our server was from Jamaica, and he was the lovliest and most welcoming server ever! He was very familiar with the menu. It was music to my ears to hear him describe all the dishes with different ingredients. Truly wonderful! You will need to use a valet parking, if you are coming by car. It's free, given that there's no space for you to park. Your car will be waiting for you as you pay your bill and are ready to go. Synchronization is truly impressive. (I was very positively surprised!). The restaurant is definitely on the very expensive side, and I am not completely sure that the quality and taste of food truly excuse those horrendous prices. While the main course was quite good (though portions were small), the appetizers, which were included in the price, were lacking, to say the most. A friend commented that the soup tasted like soup from a Chinese can bought on a Chinese flea market. The muffins were quite greasy and fat, while butter tasted weird. Main course was very well done -- I enjoyed most of the flavors.

Great food with local ingredients. We ordered the course menu they offered. At $95, it was the best value we had in fine dining. The service was amazing. They offered a Complementary valet parking, and when we finished dining, the car was already outside waiting for us. Now, that's service!

It was honestly one of the most amazing experiences ever. The service was astounding 💛 The lighting was dim and romantic, the tables were cozy and intimate. We did the tasting menu, and our server was VERY KNOWELDGABLE about everything on the menu. Will definitely be back!

Amazing ! You cannot beat the quality of food or the service. The cheese board is by far the best I have ever had. The bar is small but perfect if dining alone, they serve a lot of old world wines and are very knowledgeable about their wines and cocktails.

Delicious! From the beginning to the end! Wish it never ended! We were visiting from NYC and wanted to try some fine dining out of NYC and it was unbelievable! My Fiancé and I can say Restaurant Eugene beat a few fine dining restaurants and some Michelin star restaurants back at home. I didn't believe that this restaurant didn't have a Michelin star. The service was top notch and the dishes were a great surprise every time. I hope it makes it on the list one day.

We loved our dinning experience! The food, drinks, and staff were all amazing. I love how each plate was brought out and explained with great detail on where all the ingredients were from and how it was prepared.

Had an incredible experience here for the first time with the family for mom’s birthday, they took excellent care of us and the coursing was seamless. Compliments to the chef for their local farm to table courses, the sommelier Jenny and bartender Matt who helped us with wonderful wine pairings and cocktails for our coursed dinner. Our server Jason was exceptional and attentive to our needs and questions. Thank you, we will definitely be back!

The best fine dining in Atlanta, bar none. Get the tasting menu, you won't be disappointed in the least. Heartbroken that they're closing this place, but excited for what they're going to do next.
