Warmer months bring barbecue on the terrace, as cooks grill meats and vegetables from local farmers. During the winter, Frööd gets busy quickly in the mornings with a popular breakfast buffet, and the buzz continues throughout the day with burgers and pizzas. Wonderful place at the top of the gondola. There is a surprisingly large number of items on the food and drinks menu. We had the veggie burger, wiener schnitzel, and deer-ragout and the kids had burgers. Everyone enjoyed their food and nothing was left over. There is a playground right next to the terrace, clean toilets, a large number of tablet and chairs and the view is stunning of course. The service was nice, friendly and paid attention despite the high number of guests while we were there.

A cut above your usual ski restaurant. You get noticeably higher quality and a bit more flair at Frööd than at a typical mountain restaurant. All the usual stuff is available - schnitzel, rösti, kaiserschmarrn - but there are also fresher and lighter options. Service is fast and cordial, with plenty of familiar faces every year. The place is exceptionally popular, even when the pistes are quiet, but they take reservations. There are blankets and heaters for the likely event that the only free tables are outside.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. Despite the fact that most of the guests were tourists, the waitress refused to speak or even respond in English. She insisted on replying only in German, which made communication unnecessarily difficult and uncomfortable. In a place that clearly caters to international visitors, I expected a more welcoming and accommodating attitude. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and considers offering better service to non-German-speaking guests in the future.

Cool restaurant in the cite of Brand ski area. The service is to the table and not as a buffet. Various of food that also kids will love. Some Austrian food beside worldwide dishes. Not too loud even it's always crowded during the ski season. Comfort and clean

Perfect place to take a break or have dinner, good choice of vegetarian dishes; ALSO its indicated where all ingredients come from, which is almost all locally, even the meat for "Hirsch burger"; very friendly staff: again a good place to come back to. Also starting point for weekly Tuesdays night rodel safari.
