Restaurant Gegant

Super lovely place. The service is so warm, friendly and attentive, and the food is just delicious. The staff speak English, which is great. Light is perfect too, not too bright and not too dark. I have to say, it was a special moment for me when they kept adding more bread to my plate when it ran out – I really love bread🥹😅

Great little spot for Authentic Catalan cuisine. Definitely going for a Michelin Bib Gourmand I’m guessing. They offer a lunch menu for a great value/quality. Great selection of wines as well. Reservation recommended but we were able to simply show up.

Don’t bother, food is very low quality fatty and salty., quantity is minimal. Service is accordingly to the food, bad, I said the was just fatty parts of supposed a meat stew, they said the dish is like that. There is not much option to choose anyway. I returned both the first and second course. The place is dark and narrow, with doors in front of you , like toilet or closet doors. The music is loud and bad. Very disappointed because I expected it ti be a nice restaurant.

My experience was not the best one, and I can't recommend this place. The menu is quite small, not the most interesting. The prices are above average, and the portions are quite small. I ordered a dish, and they brought me a completely different one, without warning in advance. It was just one small piece of grilled meat for 30 euros, and even in breadcrumbs, this is a very fatty and not the most delicious dish, which is not balanced by anything because there is nothing else in the dish. The wine was ok.

The food was very good and served quickly. The portions were not excessive but just right. The atmosphere was excellent.

Nice? Well-presented food, though a little pricey

Solo tenemos buenas palabras para este restaurante. Una experiencia espectacular de principio a fin. La chica que nos atendió fue encantadora y el vino que nos dio el chico estaba espectacular y casaba perfecto con la comida que pedimos. Restaurante con ambiente muy acogedor, sencillo. Ideal, si me preguntas, para una velada un poco más íntima. Aunque también recomendable para ir con familia o amigos. Y en cuanto a la comida, qué decir. Se nota que el chef sabe lo que hace. Propuestas interesantes con producto de calidad. La ensaladilla con botarga estaba espectacular, pero el plato frío que nos cautivó fue la caballa. 100% recomendable. De los dos postres que pedimos, la tarta de chocolate me sorprendió porque siendo una explosión de chocolate no se hace para nada pesada o empalagosa, y le dice genial el caramelo salado que la acompaña (a destacar la textura del caramelo, nada pastoso y muy agradable en boca). Los higos con el mascarpone es más ligero, ideal también ahora en verano.
