"Gegant would be a hit anywhere, but especially in Poble Nou, a neighborhood that’s been “up and coming” forever but has always lacked that one restaurant worth crossing town for. This spot is here to change that. It’s also proving that natural wine bars don’t need to make you question whether you’re cool enough to walk through the door. It feels more like your friend’s house than a trendy restaurant; come twice and you’ll be greeted like a lifelong pal. The chat never gets dull, nor does the weekly changing menu full of Catalan staples like escalivadas, brandadas, esqueixadas, and xatonadas. Top it all off with a vanilla flan that’s so smooth and creamy you’ll want to bathe in it.
