12 Breathtaking Restaurants with a View in the UK & Ireland

"Occupying the 60th floor in London's financial district, the restaurant offers window-facing counter seats with spectacular views of landmarks such as The Shard and Tower Bridge, and the experience is unabashedly luxurious with highly skilled chefs using top produce from lobster to lamb." - Andrew Young

"When your restaurant is on the 60th floor, thus becoming the tallest in Europe, it makes complete sense that the 12-seater counter faces the window and the stunning view over the city, rather than the chefs in their open kitchen. Gordon Ramsay’s exclusive little sky dining restaurant offers a surprise tasting menu, built around ingredients from the top drawer. Highlight dishes could include 14-day aged duck with celeriac and Alsace bacon, and lobster with pumpkin and pine. Everyone is served together so be punctual – and allow a little extra time for security checks on the ground floor." - Michelin Inspector

London’s New Restaurant Openings

"It’s Gordon Ramsay’s world, we’re all just living in it—at least when you step over the threshold at 22 Bishopsgate in the City. The TV chef has opened three new spots within the same towering building. Lucky Cat is 60 floors up, Asian-inspired, with views of the Thames from the loos. There’s also a Lucky Cat bar inspired by Tokyo’s 1930s kissa clubs and stocked with Japanese whisky. And finally there’s Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High, a 12-seater chef’s table with a modern European menu." - team infatuation

At High in London, craftsmanship and haute artistry merge into a culinary statement. What arrives on the plate carries the precision of a surgeon, the artistic vision of a painter, and an unmistakable love for cooking. Every dish is plated like a small work of art, thoughtful, precise, aesthetic and the best part: it tastes just as extraordinary as it looks. The team in the kitchen clearly lives and loves what they do; you can feel it in every detail. And the service matches that energy with outstanding professionalism—no gesture too much, none too little, just a perfectly tuned performance. All in all, High is a declaration of what modern gastronomy can be: kitchen and service playing confidently in the top league. An experience you won’t forget anytime soon.

What an evening and view! You are overlooking the Tower of London and the bridge. This is a very small venue with only 12 seats. You are catered to throughout the entire experience. I love they offer both wine and a 50/50 alcohol/non-alcohol experience. We began with several small bites before the culinary journey began. Every bite was carefully curated and the chefs provided detailed descriptions for each plate. The standout dishes of the evening were the lamb course and the final sweet dish showcasing strawberries. We absolutely loved the experience!

A truly amazing dinner and a wonderful experience. The dishes were exceptional, definitely surpassing many three-star Michelin restaurants. The location is fantastic! Every seat offers stunning views of London! The only downside was the lack of ventilation in the room, which resulted in a strong grilled smell when the chef cooked. This is why I gave it a 4 stars. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful and unforgettable night at Restaursnt Gordon Ramsay High!!! I am glad that I chose here for my third anniversary with my gf. Chef Goodyear masters in blending different ingredients in harmony and this chefs table is second to none. The welcome small plates are amazing, sashimi fish on crispy pastry opens my appetite:) Pork fat butter on fresh hot brioche bread, the butter’s odour is so intense and brioche is light and full of butter inside! Lobster is great. The greatest idea is the treatment of claw meat into the RHS dish, with so many complicated flavours. Fat in lamb’s chop melt in your mouth with aroma. The non-alcoholic wine flight is great, it is a chance to have so tea and juice-based drink from different made. All of them are light choices. The only regretful thing is that there is no restroom for chefs table, you have to share it with customers of LuckyCat. However, it is a bit crowded during dinner and night time.

An Unforgettable Experience at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High Dining at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High on the 60th floor of 22 Bishopsgate is nothing short of extraordinary. The views alone are worth the visit - London’s skyline unfolds in every direction - but it’s the food and service that truly elevate the experience. The intimate Chef’s Table setting offers front-row seats to culinary artistry at its finest. Each course of the tasting menu is beautifully executed, bold in flavor, and a true showcase of seasonal ingredients. Paired with an impeccable wine selection and flawless service, every moment feels curated and unforgettable. This isn’t just a meal - it’s a journey, and easily one of the most refined and memorable dining experiences in the city. Highly recommended.

I don't think there's many better dinner views in London. The staff were fantastic, the food was really excellent. Seasonal, so the menu changes, but the standouts were the duck croquettes, white asparagus, and the scallops. Great presentation of course! Worth noting that everything was quite rich and there were many, many courses: I only had a sandwich for lunch but in hindsight I recommend not eating at all on the day: I for one couldn't manage the dessert and I wish I had! Another review here says it was "smelly" which made me laugh. Well yeah you're dining in a small room with a kitchen, it's no wonder there's going to be some food smells! Thanks for all the staff for making it a memorable evening! 💍 PS! The cutlery! Wow.

A commanding view high above the Tower of London sets the tone - High by Gordon Ramsay isn’t trying to shock or dazzle me with theatrics; instead, it leans into precision and polish, delivering a menu that’s been designed to please without obvious pandering. There’s a sense of restraint here, but not hesitation - each choice feels intentional, considered, and just playful enough to keep it from being too well-behaved. The 50/50 pairing of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks was a particular pleasure. Each glass met its match with ease - thoughtful and refreshingly unshowy. Service, too, was with great thought - measured, present, never overstepping. They seem to still be getting a little used to each other, or maybe it was to me. But it was still genuinely satisfying to witness them in their craft. No massive whip cracks or the challenges that I do tend to love - but make no mistake, you’ll feel the firm hand of intention guiding every bite.
