Miraflores

"Chef Carlos Camino, a native of Peru, takes you on a cheerful tour of French-Peruvian cuisine in a lovely contemporary-style dining area complete with open kitchen. This chic and refined space is the setting for the sincere and personal cuisine of a chef whose maturity and commitment elevate top-notch produce. Striking flavours and interplays of textures: intelligent, poetic cuisine, such as the hierba luisa ceviche, tiger's milk with black cocoa, or the palo santo braised pota (giant squid), seafoam and nikkei sauce. A tasty and adventurous place." - Michelin Inspector

1 Michelin star. Food is good but not amazing. 1 star seems fair. Cocktails are poor, too sweet, little variety. Look at Peruvian restaurants in Barcelona, Yakumanka and Maymanta, and they have much better cocktails. Management needs to hire a cocktail consultant.

I’m a big fan of octopus and can always tell when it’s been cooked with care. Sadly, this dish missed the mark. The octopus was severely overcooked tough, rubbery, and genuinely difficult to chew. The plate lacked cohesion, with components that felt more like afterthoughts than complements. The pickled onions were the highlight, offering a sharp acidity that briefly lifted the dish. The dips were just okay neither bold nor memorable. While the restaurant itself has a high-end feel and the atmosphere was pleasant, the experience quickly declined. I asked for Coca-Cola Zero but was counter-suggested Inka Cola, which neither I nor my friend enjoyed. The food overall was the biggest letdown. Dessert a chocolate tart with some sort of foam was forgettable and underwhelming. Given the hefty price tag, I won’t be returning. A disappointing meal in an otherwise promising setting.

Very innovative fusion of French and Peruvian cuisine. Amazing dishes but prepare for a full menu dinner experience, even with an early seating. If you don't like incense you might be having a difficult time.

Very disappointing: the food was not at all a Michelin star experience. Nothing seasoned properly, the main was a dry piece of chicken, their bread was also dry and the ceviche was fishy trout. Please be advised.

We had a really fantastic dining experience and a little "trip to Peru for one night" and Miraflores in Lyon. The set menu was an exquisite experience and the chef was flexible to cater to dietary preferences. Besides their great food, the Pisco Sour was sublime.

this was an incredible experience. A peruvian menu with some french influence, but mostly staying on the peruvian side. The dishes were both creative and extremely tasty, using a lot of ingredients that I was not really familiar with. All the dishes were unique and tasty, well presented and flavourful. I enjoyed everything they brought to us. The ceviche was magnificent, we got some nigiris that were outstanding as well. We even got a dish made out of a ton of herbs that was unexpectedly tasty. The service was really close and warm, they spent a ton of time guiding us through the dishes. Sadly it seems they are closing this restaurant, but they told us that they will reopen a new version of it in september, which I can just assume will be equally as good. Well worth the star it has.
