I’m a big fan of octopus and can always tell when it’s been cooked with care. Sadly, this dish missed the mark. The octopus was severely overcooked tough, rubbery, and genuinely difficult to chew. The plate lacked cohesion, with components that felt more like afterthoughts than complements.
The pickled onions were the highlight, offering a sharp acidity that briefly lifted the dish. The dips were just okay neither bold nor memorable.
While the restaurant itself has a high-end feel and the atmosphere was pleasant, the experience quickly declined. I asked for Coca-Cola Zero but was counter-suggested Inka Cola, which neither I nor my friend enjoyed. The food overall was the biggest letdown. Dessert a chocolate tart with some sort of foam was forgettable and underwhelming.
Given the hefty price tag, I won’t be returning. A disappointing meal in an otherwise promising setting.
