"Danny and Helena Tsang opened their restaurant Nieuw Hong Kong in Sint Willebrord in 1982. It may have been just another Chinese eatery at first, but the owners' ambitions evolved over time and they set their sights on showcasing the true finesse of Asian cuisine. And they have been successful in their quest: today, they invite diners to embark on a culinary voyage from Japan via Hong Kong and China to Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. Chef Danny's cooking style fuses tradition with creativity. Sweet, sour, zesty and umami flavours are precisely balanced in subtle combinations. He creates exciting dishes in which exotic seasonings meet French techniques for an extra layer of sophistication. East and West become one here. The chef's expertise is evident in his house-made gochujang, his Sichuan chilli sauce, the crispy fried shallot and the star anise and five-spice-flavoured cooking juices that accompany his Peking-style barbary duck. His daughter Monica's expertly chosen wine pairings elevate this delightful dining experience (the wine room itself is a sight to behold). The premium tea selection serves as an equally ideal accompaniment, allowing the subtle nuances of the dishes to truly shine. The Tsang family are proud ambassadors of Asia's culinary richness." - Michelin Inspector

If you're seeking an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than Restaurant O&O... We opted for the "full experience" menu, which consisted of seven courses, preceded by a delicious amuse, called "Botanical Bites". Each course was an excellent exploration of flavors, well-balanced and their presentation bursting with creativity! Highlights for us included the Bluefin Toro prepared in Nikkei Style, the Xiao Long Bao with ginger and scallion (we are a big fan of the Taiwanese "Din Tai Fung" chain, where this is their signature dish!), the Tarbot, Wagyu & Caviar, and last but not least, the Singapore Chili Lobster. It was really fun to recognize many of the aspects of the way in which you get Singapore Chili Crab served in Singapore, but then with a sauce that has all the hallmarks of authenticity and freshness! The level of thought and detail in every course was truly exceptional. We also had the full "0% creations" non-alcoholic pairing, which nicely complemented the menu with six drinks like the Pitahaya with lemongrass coconut and the Wheel of Fortune with pear matcha. While all the drinks were impressive, the star of the evening for me was the homemade, red-colored Tropical IPA. With its refreshing balance of Chemy Cranberry and Calamansi, it’s hands down one of the best non-alcoholic beers I’ve ever had. Every drink was as thoughtfully crafted as the dishes, so if you’re skipping alcohol, you won't feel like you're missing out... to the contrary! While O&O delivers on all fronts of fine dining, the ambiance remains relaxed and inviting, with great service that made us feel both at ease and truly taken care of. Hands down, this is one of the best restaurants we've ever visited, and we wholeheartedly thank the staff, and recommend it to anyone looking for an extraordinary culinary treat.

What an amazing experience. The food is superb and the staff is super friendly. Wines fit very well and the decor is just beautiful. There's an amazing inner yard as well as a terrace. It's situated in the center of a little center, which may not be that easy to reach, but you have the option of a 0% pairing! This is so good and the creations are super original. Definitely worth trying!

We have received excellent service and hospitality, staffs are professional and sweet. The ambience is good. Its location is abit out of the city. They are pricey with no doubt, and it is very subjective whether they are worthy or not with its overall presentation. Honestly, its food quality is rather average, especially the duck, the skin is not crispy enough, and we have had too high expectations on the lobsters. Making us miss the Singaporian crabs and lobsters. Steam fish is good, but normal homemade steam fish. I only love their oysters, but they cost extra. If you have been to Asia, I think you would understand why I gave this restaurant three stars only.

A gastronomic delight with Asian roots! You absolutely must try their gourmet non-alcoholic drinks — they're so exquisitely crafted, they make alcoholic beverages seem ordinary.

Google
This Asian restaurant deserves its newly obtained Michelin star! Exquisite preparation of dishes in all aspects... perfection in taste, harmony and presentation. Original dishes each made with a touch of Asia. Our lunch started of a bit on the slow side, waiting for about an hour until it picked up nicely. And, even though not a big problem for us, we had to ask for wine after the second dish, whereas one could expect the maitre to come and ask what we would like after finishing our aperitiv at a Michelin star restaurant. Nevertheless, a very recommendable restaurant which we will return to.

We had an excellent evening! Hosts were perfect and the food tasted very good. Prices are high, but quality as well. Definitely want to go back.

I can't make up my mind about an opinion. Some dishes were interesting and surprised with their combination of flavors, while others were just ordinary, nothing special. We were expecting something more refined, and the only touch of Asia was soy sauce. It was a pleasant experience, but not our top choice. We probably won't come back here. For this price, one can eat more originally and tastier elsewhere
