This establishment is conveniently located near Tokyo station and it was the only one restaurant that I can make a reservation a day before. The special fish course I ordered was quite a surprise. It tasted more like unagi than a French dish. This is the only Michelin star restaurant that I have ever visited without any staff members speaking English. I was quite shocked since I made the reservation in English and usually for a French restaurant like this, at least one staff would be able to communicate in simple English. Throughout the whole meal, the staff only spoke Japanese without any menu or instructions in English. It seems like they only want Japanese customers to visit.

I was dazzled by this French Michelin stunner in Tokyo-pure elegance. The presentation is like edible instagram. Staff anticipated my every need without hovering. Price tag's steep, but it's a once-in-a-lifetime vibe.

皇居のお堀を望む優雅なロケーションに佇む「RESTAURANT PRUNIER」は、東京會舘のメインダイニングとして名高いフレンチの名店です。
魚介を主軸としたクラシカルなフランス料理はどれも完成度が高いです。
やっぱり東京會舘といったら「舌平目の洋酒蒸 ボンファム」
舌平目とシャンピニオンを白ワインと魚の出汁で煮込んでいるそう。
これが本当に美味しい。
クラシックながらも重すぎず、香り高く奥行きあるコース構成は、食べ終えた後も心に残る満足感。
サービスも非常に丁寧でホスピタリティに溢れており、大切な記念日や接待、特別な食事のシーンにふさわしい一軒です。

お店の外にいる受付スタッフの対応が残念でした。
中年の恰幅のいい女性です。
入店時はこちらを見定めるように見てきましたし、会計時に夫にアプリのポイントを使う？と聞いたところ、素早く3000ポイントからですと言われました。
客同士の会話に入ってくる話し方、言葉遣いではありませんでした。
他のスタッフやお料理はとても美味しかっただけに、最初と最後で嫌な思いをしてとても残念でした。

サービスは最高。ただ東京會舘の建物を楽しみに行ったつもりがモダンに改装されてしまっており残念。食事は良い素材を使っているが、少し濃いめ＆ソースと合っていないのがあったので減点。デザートが美味しくなかったのでそこも減点。1人5万払うのは場所代ですかね。1回だけだなと思いました。
