7 Great Day & Weekend Trips From Paris - Paris - The Infatuation

"This Lebanese restaurant is in the town of Vernon, where you’ll catch the train back to Paris after a day of looking at Impressionist art at Le Musée des Impressionnismes Giverny. It’s open all day and serves healthy-ish small plates like garlicky labneh, babaganoush, skewers, and rikakat, cigars of crispy phyllo dough filled with jibneh cheese. This is a great spot if you’re looking for something quick and easy and don’t want to get locked into a reservation elsewhere." - sophie friedman

If I could give the food rating 6 stars I would! By far the best and most enjoyable Mediterranean food I’ve had in ages. All the meze was amazing and worked perfectly with the beef kofta and pita. I ended up devouring the entire plate and enjoyed a free desert of baklava afterwards. Highly recommend for a satisfying meal in Vernon!

A solid spot for a leisurely lunch (wait times are long), with kofta, beef or chicken shish kabob, and shawarma. All of the side dishes are fresh, e.g. hummus and tabbouleh. There's a few tables of outdoor seating but the colorful clientele from the bar nextdoor also add to the ambience.

The beef shawarma had a lot of flavor and was presentable. All around great choice if you're in Vernon. I'd definitely go back.

The chef does all. Cook excellent Mediterranean fresh dishes. Serve with a smile. All is possible. All is good. Restaurant misses some cosiness but is clean and functional. We loved the orange scented tea and the vegetable mezze.

This was the best Lebanese food I have had in my life 😍 I have tried it in big cities, but the taste and service is outstanding! Very delicious and it tastes homemade and fresh. Definitely worth the visit, while staying in Vernon.

Good food. Most of it is precooked and kept ready. The place is clean and tidy. The food was tasty. Service was prompt. Nice people too. The cost is according to the food and not too expensive. We took the kebbe, samboussek, hummus, and the batata harra. Everything tasted good.

The staff were so accommodating and kind to us. The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. The portion sizes were large and filling. The baklava was perfect.
