"Abrasado, the Michelin-recognised restaurant at the Los Toneles bodega in Mendoza, where chef Matías Gutiérrez works with Black Aberdeen Angus cattle and practices dry-aging of meats for 45 days." - The MICHELIN Guide

"As expected, many of these restaurants are centred around traditional and local cuisine, with a special focus on meat and the popular ‘parrilla’, such as at Benedetta, Duhau Restaurant & Vinoteca, El Preferido de Palermo and La Carniceria in Buenos Aires and Abrasado, Fogón Cocina de Viñedo, Quimera Bistró and Renacer in Mendoza." - MICHELIN Guide

"If you rely on a restaurant’s list of awards when it comes to booking a table and if the delicious flavour of aged meats brings tears to your eyes, then the Abrasado restaurant (part of the Los Toneles winery not far from the centre of Mendoza - the recipient of various Best of Wine Tourism awards over the years) is the place for you! The dining room, located next to the spaces reserved for tastings and events, boasts a contemporary design and high ceilings, along with a maturing cabinet at the entrance and a bar to the rear with a resident bartender. Although Abrasado offers an extensive à la carte with an impressive array of fresh and aged meats (dry-aged ribeye, T-bone aged in black garlic, fillet steak aged in kombu) designed for sharing, the vast majority of guests opt for its set menus (Andes, 100 Aniversario and Abrasado) as they all include a wine pairing option." - Michelin Inspector

Rodrigo and Jaun are great! The food was really well prepared. The rib eye empanada was the best one we have had during our trip! We had fun with the giant pepper grinder too. Definitely worth going here!

Lovely food & fantastic service. Jesus our servers & Mariel our sommelier were our servers and were both very knowledgable on all the different food & wine we ordered. Incredibly well priced for the quality & flavours of the dishes. Would definitely recommend.

The service was incredible. Rodrigo was our server and was top notch. The somm was Marielle and was a delight to talk to and recommended amazing wines. I was very impressed with their selection. The food was great too. Our favorites being the tomatoes, the ribeye empanada and the crème brûlée for dessert. Overall beautiful ambiance and awesome experience. Also, the welcome sparkling is a really nice touch. Would go back anytime I’m in Mendoza.

If you come to Mendoza you MUST come here. The food and wine pairings are amazing with such attention to detail. The service is second to none. Rodrigo our waiter was super friendly and informative and Mariel the Sommelier was so knowledgable, as was Juan the manager. Come ready to eat and drink very well indeed!

Fantastic meal in Mendoza, truely one of the best we've ate in all of South America. Highly recommend the aged T-bone and the empanada! We had incredible service from Jesus and the team, everyone was so attentive and friendly. Definitely give it a try if you’re in the area.

Wonderful experience. Started the evening with a glass of sparking wine. We were sat very quickly and the atmosphere was perfect! The waiter and the sommelier were very nice and professional. Food was amazing we had 2 steaks and sides. We ordered a bottle of their best wine at the winery.

Probably one of the best restaurants in Mendoza. Service was amazing, everyone was pleasant and I would travel from the USA back here just to do it again. Vanina was a great host and helped out with our choices. 10/10 recommend
