"At Abya, top-quality ingredients, impressive technique and plenty of flavour combine to awaken the senses! Renowned chef Aurelio Morales has embarked upon his latest project in the Palacio de Saldaña, an attractive French-inspired building that is now fully dedicated to gastronomy. His cuisine, which is particularly designed for sharing, champions a contemporary style of cooking that is a fusion between Latin American and international dining and which the chef defines as “free and limitless”." - Michelin Inspector

We celebrated Valentine's dinner in Abya and this restaurant is stunning! From the moment we walked in, we were in awe of the elegant ambiance of the place. While the food was enjoyable, it was really the impeccable service that truly made our experience a great pleasure. Every lady received a long stemmed rose which was really sweet.

Abya Restaurant: Beautiful Place, Disappointing Experience! The venue is absolutely stunning, filled with art, beautifully designed, and truly impressive. Hats off to the interior and ambiance; it’s gorgeous. However, the service was quite disappointing. The staff speaks highly of everything on the menu, repeatedly mentioning that the owner invested 50 million euros, but they fail to offer real guidance. For example, they didn’t mention that the milanesa (fried steak) is enormous, which would have helped us make a better choice. We were celebrating our 34th anniversary, and not even a small gesture or acknowledgment was made. No congratulations, no dessert, no recognition at all. This is the first restaurant we’ve been to where such a special occasion was completely ignored. The food is decent, but not exceptional. To add to the odd experience, the manager or captain had a noticeable rip in his pants, something that shouldn’t happen in a place aiming for a high-end image. If you’re going just for the looks, the place is worth seeing, but lower your expectations when it comes to service and hospitality.

Absolutely magic of a place!!! We were part of a large group the menu was decided. The food was absolutely delicious, great atmosphere with dancers coming by time to time. Nice music in the background. Service could be a bit more better. All of them were very serious and unfriendly just going about doing the job without having any smile

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Abya and I cannot speak highly enough about my experience. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. Our waiter, Christian from Romania, went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. His knowledge of the menu and attentiveness to our needs were truly commendable. He took the time to provide us with personalized recommendations, and each dish he suggested was absolutely delicious. Christian's passion for his work and his dedication to providing outstanding service were evident throughout our entire meal. His friendly demeanor and kind personality created a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. He was attentive to every detail, ensuring that we had everything we needed and consistently checking in to ensure our satisfaction. In addition to the exceptional service, the food at Abya was outstanding. The menu offered some options, and each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The attention to detail in the preparation and presentation of the food was truly impressive. From the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a delight. The combination of the fantastic staff, led by Christian, made us have a great experience. I highly recommend Abya to anyone seeking a memorable meal in a warm and welcoming environment. Thank you, Christian, and the entire team at Abya, for a truly remarkable dining experience. I will definitely be returning to enjoy your exceptional service again.

My visit to Abja in Madrid on a Saturday night left me with mixed impressions. The restaurant was packed, creating a lively atmosphere with a DJ spinning a nice selection of Afro house music, which added to the vibe. Abja is quite spacious, spread across multiple rooms and floors. Downstairs, you dine close to the action, which is probably better suited for a weekend night when you're looking for a lively experience. However, upstairs felt more isolated with a lack of energy and a rather neutral decor that wasn't particularly cozy. In terms of the food, I found it to be average. While we sampled various dishes, none of them stood out as exceptional and justifying the prices, especially when compared to the standards of dining in Madrid. It's worth noting that they automatically add the cost of bread and a welcome aperitivo to your bill without asking, which can catch you off guard. I must also mention that the service at Abja was commendable. The staff was not only efficient but also kind, reflecting the well-known hospitality that is popular in Madrid. Their attentive and friendly service was a positive aspect of the overall dining experience. All in all, Abja might be a better choice for drinks and enjoying the lively atmosphere than a full dinner experience. However, this review is based on personal opinion, and your experience might differ depending on your preferences.
