Abya Restaurant: Beautiful Place, Disappointing Experience! The venue is absolutely stunning, filled with art, beautifully designed, and truly impressive. Hats off to the interior and ambiance; it’s gorgeous. However, the service was quite disappointing. The staff speaks highly of everything on the menu, repeatedly mentioning that the owner invested 50 million euros, but they fail to offer real guidance. For example, they didn’t mention that the milanesa (fried steak) is enormous, which would have helped us make a better choice.
We were celebrating our 34th anniversary, and not even a small gesture or acknowledgment was made. No congratulations, no dessert, no recognition at all. This is the first restaurant we’ve been to where such a special occasion was completely ignored.
The food is decent, but not exceptional. To add to the odd experience, the manager or captain had a noticeable rip in his pants, something that shouldn’t happen in a place aiming for a high-end image.
If you’re going just for the looks, the place is worth seeing, but lower your expectations when it comes to service and hospitality.
