Restaurante Alambique

This restaurant was wonderful From the entrance, the waiters professionalism and the food, everything was excellent. The dishes were made with quality ingredients, served in good portion and well presented. I had the lamb chops with the mint sauce and I loved it. The mint wasn’t too strong it was just perfect (to me, your taste may differ) The wine selection was great. We had a wonderful dinner there and will come back if we ever go back to Vilamoura

One of my favourite restaurants in the algarve. The food is done so well, and the setting outside is stunning, a great way to spend an evening, it really feels special. Having the owner show us how they make the crepe Suzette was a beautiful bonus too!

Authentic, traditional 40 year old family restaurant. Grand reception, from no less than 6 of our hosts. A strong fish menu offering. Cover of sardine that is delicious and pate. I chose octopus carpachio and avocado 🥑 followed by sole with prawns. Dessert, again good choice, concluded with creme brulee and complimentary port. Extensive wine menu too.

Amazing food and amazing service. Wine was lovely, same with the food. Many people but didn't sound too loud, a lovely atmosphere. Drinks refilled when finished, from water to wine. Funny waiters too. Overall a lovely dinner, time passed quickly. Expensive but worth it. Ash Pasta Score: 9/10

Always vist when out here as its a fabulous restaurant with amazing food great staff and always a friendly welcome. Highly recommended a vist.

I had my doubts over Alambique before visiting as I had heard (and read) mixed reviews. I was expecting stuffy & expensive with pretentious food & obnoxious staff but experienced NONE of this. The atmosphere is relaxed with beautiful surroundings and soft music. The menu is very well put together and there are several options I would have happily ordered. I ended up having garlic Prawns to start and minted Lamb chops as my main. The lambs chops were melt in the mouth delicious and the portion was generous. The partner had the Prawn avocado salad to start and the Seabass for her main and she was delighted with both dishes. We had 2 waitresses who were both very sweet and took care of our every need during our meal. The bill for 2 of us was around €175 including service which I consider reasonable for the experience, service and quality of food.
