Definitely book ahead of time. We went on a Tuesday in August and we did good booking in advance.
Everything was delicious.
We started with cold starters, a tomato salad and anchovies with pimientos del piquillo.
The tomato was sweet and well seasoned and the anchovies, although were not large were mildly salty and meaty. Very recommended.
As warm starter we took almejas a la marinera, who h was out of the menu, they were big and very tasty.
We dip a lot of bread everywhere!
We took Raya for fish. They were very knowledgeable about all fish and how to best enjoy them the Raya was soft and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed every last bit of it.
For dessert the cheesecake was from another world, done with true cheese not only cream cheese.
The natillas and flan were also very good.
Overall it was of course on the pricey side, about 55 euros per person, but for the amounts we ate and the quality and service, the relationship between quality and price was very good.
We got this place recommended by friends and I can only say, it is definitely worth it.
