Had lunch in the basement of this establishment, where the decor and ambiance really shine. The aubergine dish was crispy eggplant sticks drizzled with molasses - very sweet. The bread was steaming fresh and served with chive butter. Wines were excellent, and even some La Palma wines available. My main was delicious and reminded me of Dutch comfort food. It was hake filet split open, with a sliced of smoked salmon slipped in, and then the whole thing fried crispy on the outside. This was served with whipped potatoes, of course.
Service in Spanish, English, and possibly German and Dutch (we were asked which of the four languages we prefer).
