The ambiance is nice and the staff are friendly. Service was fairly quick, although the African Chicken took almost 30 minutes to arrive. I highly recommend the squid with vinegar. The squid was perfectly cooked – tender, not tough or dry. It’s well-seasoned with a blend of vinegar or lemon and olive oil, topped with fresh shredded red onion, which adds a refreshing touch. The African Chicken was well-baked and pairs wonderfully with a tomato-based spice sauce. It’s not spicy, but you can taste subtle spices in the sauce. The chicken is incredibly tender, with the meat falling off the bone. I’d also suggest trying the pork knuckle and the clams in cream sauce. It’s a bit pricey, but the portions are generous, easily serving four adults per dish. Some of the best Portuguese flavors we’ve experienced so far! This place is always full. So I highly recommend to book in advance.

This restaurant recommended to us by our private guide. She said that to experience macanese food you need to come here. The restaurant atmosphere is okay but too crowded as this restaurant so popular. You need to book to dine in. The food is delicious and service is fast. This place is not far from the casino so you see a lot of tourist in this area.

The soup we ordered was creamy and fresh. The Codfish cakes were delectable, crispy on the outside, soft & smooth inside and I had no problem with bones. The bread was warm and soft, though maybe not fresh. The Macanese pork and Portuguese Style Baked Garoupa that we had were not the most flavourful. We didn’t see them as up to the standards of a restaurant on the Michelin guide, rather something we could’ve ordered in Cafe De Coral. We enjoyed the starters and the service was great, but sadly the main dishes let it down.

While the curry shrimp and spaghetti were just average, the pricing is reasonable, and the servings are sufficient. Highly recommend for a Portuguese culinary experience in Macao.

Even before you walk in the restaurant distinguishes itself from its neighbors with its plant-covered walls and inviting atmosphere. As it was a weekend there was a bit of a line before we were seated, and there were some small mishaps at the start due to how busy it was, but that truly doesnt matter much when looking at the overall quality of the service and food. We had the codfish cakes to start (don't look at the four pieces in the photo, we already at two before remembering to take pictures hahaha, which were soooo good. Well-seasoned, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with a nice balance of flavors. The main course dishes were portioned much bigger than expected, so for two people getting a few more starters or side dishes with only one main probably would've been better. That said, both the pork knuckles and chicken were delicious and we immensely enjoyed the food. The pork skin was so crispy and struck a nice balance between chewy and soft, while the chicken was tender and imbued with flavors that went great with the rice. Also, bonus points for having ginger ale AND cream soda on the drinks menu, I so rarely see either of those available and they're my favorite soft drinks, hahaha.

Excellent. We were greeted upon arrival and made to feel welcome. The food was tasty and plentiful. Service was prompt and courteous. This is a popular place and with good reason. We would definitely come back again.

Great restaurant with nice Portuguese/Macanese ambiance. Food were great especially the garlic shrimps, it was crunchy and fresh. The clams in white sauce were amazing as well, not sure whether it's permanent on the menu. Baked Portuguese chicken is very similar to curry but not as heavy, worth a try! The clams and diced pork might not be for me though, since it's like marinara. Overall, it was a pleasant experience to have my birthday lunch here

A Portuguese restaurant with good service and selection of food. There are many different options for you to choose or asked for recommendations. The serving staff are friendly and nice. All the dishes were nice and if the octopus is a little more tender, it will be perfect. The atmosphere is great for couples or family gatherings.
