Acapulco Bar - Review - Ruzafa - Valencia - The Infatuation

"Acapulco Bar is one of the most exciting new openings in Valencia, not just because the food is excellent, but because it goes beyond the usual tacos and nachos you’ll find at most Mexican spots in Spain and leans into seasonality and local ingredients. The result is a short, smart menu of dishes like hake croquettes in green chili sauce, grilled sardines with watercress and mole, and rabbit al pastor that melts off the bone. Many of the ingredients come straight from Mercat de Ruzafa, and the wine list favors natural bottles and under-the-radar labels that pair up nicely with all that heat and acidity. The space is casual—just a few tables and a tight bar that fills up fast with people who know they’ve found something special. RESERVE A TABLE" - David Neimanis

Every single dish was absolutely amazing. We tried around 8 of them. Ceviche, tuna tostada, and the pork rib were the highlights for us. Friendly service and good value for what is essentially fine dining.

New favorite place to eat in Valencia! Creative dishes and a wonderful selection of wines that are perfect for sharing with good company. The fusion of Mexican flavors with local ingredients makes for a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend!

Stopped in for 2 late night drinks and both were great including a secret cocktail that was on the money. The bartender was very nice and it had a nice vibe even though it was late. Tried to stop in for dinner as the food looked great a couple nights later, but unfortunately all booked up so maybe just call ahead first. Very disappointed we missed the food as we leave Valencia tomorrow but it looked great!

Our favorite place for dinner in Valencia! My favorite “steak tar-tar”, croquettes, desert-chocolate. Natural wines are amazing! 😻 Always come here when in town! Thank you Daniel! 👍🏼 Alena & Philipp

Very cool bar/restaurant in a quieter area in ruzafa. Recently opened and run by Mexicans, this place has a wide selection of wines and cava to offer and also a good selection of tapas options as well as Mexican style food. Price vs quality is ok but you can expect to pay a bit more than the usual prices but the service is great and the atmosphere is very nice as well. Highly recommended.

An amazing place for Mexican food no the topical tacos.

We went today at 1.30, place was empty. The staff left us sitting at a table for 10 minutes without so much as asking if we wanted a drink or anything. They were busy having their own drinks / teas and chatting with each other. My partner went to use the toilet and when she got back, we were still being ignored, eventually we just left. They watched us walking out without saying a word. Very strange and unwelcoming.
