Tacande Restaurant

We reserved a table on New Year’s Eve and when we got there we found out there only was a set menu available. We weren’t informed of this, even though we had made a reservation? Thanks to the nice staff we got a cheaper deal. The food was good, but maybe not exactly adequate to the price. They offered extra vegetarian options which was nice, even though they were a bit salty

Set in a beautiful square shaded by magnificent ficus trees, this Michelin-rated restaurant is a true gem. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, and the staff are warm and genuinely welcoming. Every dish shows creativity and precision — I had the exceptional ensaladilla with tuna prepared two ways, the taco, the Iberian pork, and the pineapple dessert — each one was outstanding. A perfect blend of imagination, flavor, and setting. Highly recommended.

Good coffee and cake, very poor service We stopped here just for a coffee and a cake, and both were excellent. The terrace was pleasant and the atmosphere nice. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. No one acknowledged us when we arrived or when we were leaving. When we asked for the bill, we had to go to the staff three times in person. Each time we were told someone would come, but it still took about 35 minutes to finally get the bill. Very disappointing service.

During my last day in Lanzarote, I decided to treat myself to the best lunch I had on the island. I ordered tacos de carne, rice with beetroot and pumpkin, and a chocolate volcano cake. The food was delicious, and the staff and service were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Really well looked after by a great, friendly team of people. Immediately at ease and relaxed, even with a severe shellfish allergy. Had great, tasty food and a really lovely relaxed evening. Thanks all...

A hidden gem - we loved it. Wasn’t the biggest fan of my cocktail (mojito) but everything else was amazing. Found on the Michelin guide.

It was my husband's birthday and he deserved a special treat as he, and the whole family loves good food. Some research had gone into finding a good choice and happy to say Tacande lived up to all our expectations. Lovely setting, incredibly friendly staff, and amazing food. We are not usually 3 course eaters but the occasion demanded it and so we had the pleasure to eat our way through lots of lovely things. The fish croquettes, Muddy Pig and Pineapple were our favourites but everything was excellent. Enjoyed with a lovely white and red house wine. As you can see in the photo the staff even rustled up a birthday candle for the birthday boy and personal congratulations. ❤️ A real highlight of our stay.

We had an excellent meal, beetroot salmorejo and fish of the day were the highlights.
