Quite simply one of my all time favorite meals. I agree with other reviewers that Zuberoa is at least a 2-michelin star restaurant (although who really cares about those stars).
The tasting menu is definitely where it's at. We got to try a ton of different food and the portions were very generous. Funny enough, the best bite I had all night was probably the amuse bouche, which comes with every meal (not just tasting menu). It was whipped foie gras with some sort of beef broth gelatin on top (I think) and it was one of the best things I've ever had.
Other standouts were the spring egg, and the peas, two things I would not have expected to be so darn good. The dessert was a cheesecake, which I believe was a special that day, and the staff let me swap that instead of what was on the actual tasting menu.
That brings me to the service, which was impeccable. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, it was amazing. They recommended excellent wines and were very helpful explaining each dish.
I would love to go back here the next time I return to San Sebastian. Not much else to say, it was basically perfect in every way :)
