World Central Kitchen Restaurant in Ukraine Hit by Russian Airstrike | Eater

"A World Central Kitchen partner restaurant in Kharkiv was demolished by a missile strike that killed at least two people and wounded about 18 others, with several staff injured; WCK leadership described the attack as senseless brutality and shared images of injured employees in the hospital who were reported to be recovering in good spirits. The site had been part of WCK’s frontline feeding operation—serving hot meals to people fleeing and remaining in the region—and is tied to an effort that has provided some 11 million meals in Ukraine, including tens of thousands daily in Kharkiv to bomb shelters, hospitals, churches, seniors, and people trapped on the front lines. In the immediate aftermath the team moved non-damaged food and equipment to another kitchen location, and leadership and staff stated they are ready and willing to resume cooking from a new site." - Jaya Saxena

I came here for dinner. It is very crowded but I had a table without waiting. I had a miso soup, California rolls and a dessert called tropical coconut. All were very tasty. The staff is really lovely and provided a great service.

I was there with friends, took our time to order foods. I was a bit skeptical for asian foods in foreign land especially sushi, but I decided just to give it a go. We ordered 4 dragons set, and ala carte. The sushi turned out pretty good, the wasabi was a bit off for me. It didn't taste quite like a wasabi. The beverages were refreshning. The price is reasonable, clean place, and friendly staff. Definitely will come back.

A very good Japanese restaurant. At this place was a pathos restaurant. But now in this room made a new stylish repair. The waiters are fast, the service is attentive and polite. The food is very tasty, cooked quickly. The prices are moderate. There are many visitors, after 19.00 in the evening sometimes you need to wait for a free seat. The disadvantage is that sets of cocktails of the “shot” type do not do very well. They add very little alcohol. It is better to order separately pure alcohol (tequila or jägermeister)! I recommend this place!

The sushi place is great, BUT only when you are staying inside. If you ordering takeaway, don't waste your time and money, firstly the taste, freshness and size, is not the same. The time, none even once it came in time. Always late, 30-40 min after it is supposed to be delivered.

They have a great choice of taste dishes with a good price. They have European, Chinese, Japanese and Italian cousin in one menu. The table service is fast. Better to make a reservation to have a seat when you came into.

We had been waiting for 1h 30 minutes to be seated. We left our phone number and asked a manager to book us a table. Nobody even called us. We just wasted our time waiting for a chance to eat. Two stars for the brand and food we’re still ordering online.

This particular restaurant is new and have stunning modern design. Though it's usually hard to find a spare table in the evening, when you get there, you see why people are so willing to take meals there. I've tried pizza, sushi and ramen multiple times and each time Yaposhka were second to none. Sushi and pizza are probably one of the tastiest in Kharkiv. The prices are average to high.
