I have been to Reve so many times lately since one of our good friends lives right across the street. We have been 4 times now and I feel like a real dumbass that it took me till my fourth time here to realize they actually are brewing their own beer...Oops. I will say my go to for their beers are for sure the Barrel Aged options since they are aged in bourbon and rye barrels from Willett Distillery (which I have been to and is one of my favorites). You really get the hint of bourbons and ryes as well as the complexity of them as well. My other go-to is the frozen options. I know it's the opposite of the Barrel Aged stuff but we come a lot with the dogs and sit outside and since it's summer it's hot as hell so they are very refreshing.
My other favorite part about Reve that they also have Bones Pizza that makes Wood Fired Pizza. What's better then pizza and beer? Plus it's actually really good pizza too. Last time we were here we ordered 4 pizzas: The Prosciutto Fig (which we have gotten 3 times), The Friend of the Devil, The Pesto, and The Belmar Specialty BBQ. (I will have a breakdown of what is on each pizza below). I will say my favorite was for sure the Friend of the Devil I just love a good sweet and spicy. We will for sure continue to come back.
Prosciutto Fig: Extra virgin olive oil, mozzarella, fig, red onion, prosciutto, cremini mushrooms, goat cheese, arugula, balsamic glaze.
Friend of the Devil: Stanislaus tomato sauce, mozzarella, ricotta, Calabrese salami, red onion, chili infused honey, oregano.
Pesto: House pesto, mozzarella, local Cugino's sausage, feta, cremini mushrooms, jalapeños.
The Belmar: Smoked Pork, pickled red onions, BBQ sauce and Wickle Pickles
