The Best Cocktail Bars in Seattle | Eater Seattle

"Enter through the alley behind Jet City Labs and Easy Street Records — look for the large ‘R’ painted on the wall, along with the Revelry Room sign in the narrow window to the right of the door — and don’t worry about whether or not this is a “speakeasy.” Inside you’ll find stylish 70s-futurist aesthetics, chic lighting, and a menu of stellar cocktails and beverages from Black-owned breweries, distilleries, wineries, coffee producers, and more. One of the many stars of the cocktail list is Mr. Big Stuff, an opulent blend of peated Scotch, Boon Boona coffee-infused Vecchio Amaro del Capo, amaretto, tobacco bitters, and a smoked cinnamon stick. It’s rich and nutty, with subtle smoke and a hint of leathery mystique from the bitters, and an ideal sipper while the DJ steps into the booth to begin their set.(Depending on the night, maybe it’s uptempo Afrobeat, maybe it’s throwback pop, maybe it’s KEXP DJ Supreme La Rock stopping by to spin soul bangers." - Mark DeJoy

11 New Black-Owned Restaurants In Seattle

"Shopping and drinking a cocktail should ideally be achievable at the same location, and In The Heart understands this. It’s a speakeasy hidden within Lika Love, a clothing boutique in West Seattle. Inspired by New Orleans, the bar bites here range from gumbo to jambalaya, with classic drinks like daiquiris, sazeracs, French 75s, and ramos gin fizzes—as well as some original creations involving ingredients like carrot juice and cucumber bitters." - aimee rizzo

Chef de Cuisine Diane Lam Is Molding Revelry Into a Hip Noodle Bar - Eater Portland

"Revelry Noodle Bar is a rebrand of the original Southeast Portland restaurant, still owned by Seattle hotshots Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi’s Relay restaurant group. Revelry has been Lam’s show for a while now: As a 29-year-old chef de cuisine on the front lines, Lam is now managing both the front and back of house, the face of the restaurant at events and parties. The noodle bar switch-up will be the biggest move for her into fully running things, overhauling the menu and redecorating the space." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

The 70s vibe at Revelry Room is super cool, and the cocktails—Da Ruckus and Buckhead—were amazing. Unfortunately, the bartender seemed rushed and uninterested, which made us feel unwelcome. We loved the drinks and the space, but the service took away from the overall experience.

Revelry Room in West Seattle is a great spot for drinks and good vibes. DJ Nate Thousand played all the best old-school hits, R&B, hip-hop, and throwbacks all night. Craft cocktails were top-notch, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Perfect place to chill with great music and a strong drink.

Intimate bar with unique drinks and very friendly service. The design and color scheme are really fun with a vintage flair. I will have to come back again and try the tamales. The Purple Drank and Amaro Soda were awesome. The owner Tony is very friendly. Check this place out! You enter through the alley behind Jet City Labs.

We didn't have food but the sausage looked good. Try the watermelon margarita, you'll be pleasantly surprised with the spice.

Me and a really good friend had the pleasure to experience this bar for the first time today. I first heard about the place after seeing it featured on King 5's Evening Magazine. We absolutely loved it! The cocktails are so unique and delicious. The place is so inviting and has a very welcoming vibe. It has a small bar along with some very comfy looking couches Pam was the bartender for our afternoon of of cocktailing. Because of her great customer service, recommendations, and conversation we ended up having 3 rounds of their various drinks. 😁 We also shared the Chicken Roja, Pork Roja, Jalapeno & Queso tamales along with our drinks. They were delicious and flavorful. 😋 Pictured L-R: Notorious F.I.G reposado tequila, brucato orchards, lime, fig-grenadine, Itto’s allspice dram, nutmeg Purple Drank blended rum, cachaca, orgeat, lime, orange, ube, cinnamon We will definitely be back!

Went with a friend, she walked up ordered her drink, paid and came sat back down, my turn... same thing but my drink came almost immediately, we waited which seemed like 5 mins for hers and she ordered 1st... everything else was cool

One of Seattle’s best new bars. Great drinks, excellent service in a warm and welcoming environment. Frequent DJ sets, food trucks outside, etc.

Yelp
Came in with a few friends and then the place filled up fast! I knew what I was ordering when I checked the menu before I even got there - the Sumac Dat Ass seemed like my jam so I went with it and wasn't disappointed. After I finished I even saw the bits of sumac at the bottom of the glass so it was fresh! Bartender was super friendly and efficient with the service. Side note: while I was intrigued by Purple Drank I couldn't imagine why it wasn't made with grape juice given my past experiences, but the other reviews have me intrigued enough to come back for another go later.

Yelp
$14 drinks in Seattle?! We absolutely love Revelry Room. A really fun menu, cool vibe, fantastic DJ. The highlight for me was the purple drank...tasted like ube ice cream meets tiki drink. Perfection. We also got the old fashioned and notorious fig which were really satisfying and unique. Can't wait to come back. This is a very welcome addition to the west Seattle neighborhood.

Yelp
Tamales, kick ass bartenders, GREAT drinks, rippin' music and a vibe that feels like it has been around forever. A gem. Been several times and always makes me feel young again haha!

Yelp
Great atmosphere with culturally diverse guests coming and going through the evening. Cocktails were very balanced and yummy! They even had my favorite martini vodka, which is not a mainstream brand. Will be back

Yelp
They had tamales and to be honest they were pretty good. The presentation for the food was poor, drinks were good but music was a bit loud. Hard to have a conversation. The bartender was great.

Yelp
Love this spot. Was in from out of town as I try to visit some friends here in West Seattle. Amazing neighborhood and this is such a good addition. Perfect for a drink most hours. Great vibe when it's quiet early evening and then also when it picks up more as the night goes on. Drinks on point! Amazing drink menu.

Yelp
I'm not really a bar person, so I'm more or less expecting a negative experience when a date wants to meet at one; not so with the Reverly Room. I absolutely loved it! We each had two cocktails each (all different) and every one was a work of art crafted by the gifted gentleman tending bar. We didn't partake in an my food, but I can guarantee the next time a friend (or date) says, "Let's get a drink" I know exactly where I'll be leading them.

Yelp
Finally had a chance to check out this awesome new bar on a Friday night. Even though they were almost at capacity, with a DJ bumping some good/loud tunes, the cocktail server welcomed us in right away. We had drinks in our hands within 10 minutes. The ambiance is so colorful/fun/chic with great attention to detail! Absolutely loved the Prince themed bathroom. I tried the "Purple Drank" which was so unique and delicious (rum, cachaca, orgeat, lime juice, orange juice, ube, cinnamon). Next I tried the "Buckhead" per the bartender's recommendation. It too was fantastic and made complex by the use of Cynar. I'm so excited that this establishment exists in West Seattle and wish them success and longevity. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Would leave 0 stars if possible. The waitress was incredibly rude and held onto my friend's card after requesting to close out and then she followed my group out to yell expletives.

Yelp
Nothing like it in Seattle. Feels like home. Great cocktails, service. 10/10, no notes.

Yelp
Amazing new bar! Enter via alley way between California Ave SW & 44th Ave SW. Great service by bartender/server Nick on a Monday night. Drinks were strong and well made and tasty. Will definitely return on the weekend for the live DJJ spinning vinyl. Didn't get an opportunity to try the food yet. The bar manager and co-owner Tony was also very professional and friendly. Great hospitality all around. Highly recommend this bar for craft cocktails, amazing attentive service & delicious cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere. Lets all support small business especially with top notch service! They close early (12am) on weekdays but open til 2am Fri-Sun.
