Reverie Social Table

One of our best culinary experiences in the world. Period. The food is so varied, spices where they should be, wine pairing is superb. As a French man, I can say this is one of if not the best bread and butter I've had in my life. All that doesn't hold a candle to the ambiance and atmosphere of the evening and the amazing staff. Be prepared to have diner with perfect strangers and end your night with new friends. I would recommend people travel to Cape Town just for this. Congratulations on a such a perfect venue.

Julie and her team create a fabulous dinner with set the scene for beautiful exchanges between the guests so you feel like family. You could even join as solo traveller and will be integrated. The ingredients for the dishes come if possible from local social projects. The wines served are special and very carefully picked.

What a fantastic experience! The concept is genius, met lots of fun and interesting people, the food was exceptional, Julia and her team know exactly what they are doing, and the wine pairing was just perfect. Eveything was top, food, company, ambience, cannot reccomend enough, will definitely be back! Does get booked up very fast so make sure you book well in advance.

An absolute pure GEM & ultimate treat! Definitely a must visit, for sure! A truly special, stunning and unique experience. Chef Julia is SO talented and so generous in both the wine and food servings. The whole energy of the place is like somewhere you never want to leave. Not to forget emphasizing - The FOOD! The WINE. Just wow. As a frequent fine diner, I can see how they won best restaurant in the Western Cape. Very deserving. The most magical evening with my husband was had. I've been to Reverie three times now, and the experience just gets better and better. Tasty dishes of locally sourced food are perfectly paired with South African wines. You can either book out the entire 18 seats with your friends & family (most fun) or book a few spots and be seated at the table with strangers - who don't stay strangers for long! A "warm-up" wine is offered on the back patio before dinner, for people to chat and introduce themselves to each other, and about halfway through the dinner, Julia encourages everyone to switch places at the table and chat with a new group of people. It's fun and tasty and overall a lovely concept and experience. Thank you, Julia! I will be back again for sure. 😃

My partner and I went and enjoyed our final dinner in Cape Town at the social table. The food was fresh and absolutely divine. It was fun to meet people from Cape Town as well as other countries visiting and the wine pairing was on point.

We had a great night an unique experience.From the very beginning this is a truly social evening led by Julia and her fantastic team including her dog with his many toys. the food was surprising us and we got catered very well for vegan/vegetarian preferences. we recommend to spend a night there wholeheartedly.
