Revival Denver Public House

We loved this place for what it was before way back when. We love it more now (and glad they didn't change the setup too much). We make the little bit extra drive still, even though we aren't a half block away like before. The layout is fantastic. Tables with a view of fun 17th street, a great bar area, and if the bar is full, there is cool community bar top thing in the middle. A little bit of elegance, history, and great vibes. This is a place where you can catch happy hour, eat a good meal, have a delightful date night, listen to live music, attend special events (like with CRAB), meet up with friends, etc. Alex was our bartender, and he was that perfect mix of cool and efficient. Perfect service. The only time he disappeared momentarily was when I realized that him and one server were handling the bar people and a good amount of tables. He was all over the place, giving great service to bar and tables. Good drink and food are a good experience. Great service elevates all of that. They don't have a craft beer hh special (hint hint please), but I will never argue with $4 Coors Lights either. For my wife, wine was $2 off. We will get their $3 fries next time, but for this time, we rolled with $8 wings, $2 oysters, and a unique $12 crab...pretzel. Genius whoever thought of putting those two things together. Wife loved her oysters, and I got the Colorado white sauce for my wings, and the sauce was magical. Lots of other good deals, but stomachs only have so much room, and people only have so much time. Whether you catch live music or not, the energy is always good here. This time, we caught the reggae station, and it was perfect. Thanks, Alex, for the awesome service, and thanks, Revival for keeping it real. Oh, and this is a fun street to explore once done with food and drink here. We always look forward to coming here, and so should you, folks. I highly recommend this place, and see you there...

Wow. Just wow. So yummy. We started our night off with the crab pretzel… there was so much crab on it! My brother got the bison bolognese and I haven’t had pasta that good since I was in Italy. The homemade noodles, the spicy bolognese sauce… it’s something to write home about. I will definitely return for that and I’m grateful I got his leftovers! His girlfriend got the butternut squash risotto and that was also stellar! Sooo flavorful and the risotto was cooked to perfection. I’d go back again for that as well. I split the flatliner sandwich with my mom and honestly that’s all I needed of it. The bacon jam was a little salty. It was just an ok sandwich. We got a side of the cheesy grits and they were reminiscent of a warm hug. Perfection. Sweet tea was weird and not done right but for how good everything else was, including our fabulous server, I can look past it. The ambiance was great, live music wasn’t too loud. Banana pudding was a delightful end to our evening. This place was recommended by a friend and I’d also recommend it to all my friends! Check it out!!

Hoo boy, our experience last night was fascinating. $16 for an old fashioned and I didn't even get my fancy cherry (listed on the menu). It happens, the only bartender at the time seemed stressed. Getting orders taken and new drinks requested took a lot of time due to him constantly making drinks; he seemed to be super backed up until another bartender showed up. The food took soooo longggg. The bartender mentioned the kitchen was backed up, which was odd since the place appeared to have only a few tables. $15 for tomatoes, cucumber, burrata and pistachio. Not a terrible price, but I was hoping for the good in-season tomatoes. I added fried chicken but ended up getting grilled chicken, something I would've just accepted until I discovered it had been placed super-burnt-side down. I tried to think, "oh, maybe like blackened chicken?" but it was too bitter to get through for an extra $10. After speaking with the bartender, he did get me a replacement near-immediately. The salad was pretty decent once all items were right, but $25 total was a bit nuts. There was a man playing music we were told was a friend of the owner... he was not a great addition to the atmosphere. The music was way too loud and during each pause, seemingly would go ring himself in a drink behind the bar. Overall it was an interesting night out, but not a place we're likely to return to soon.

Totally ruined and disappointed experience! I had left a full 5 star review a few months ago, then decided to bring some friends and share the experience. Came for brunch with 5 friends Miranda was our server and she was amazing! Fantastic service, awesome food we were all extremely happy! Then her shift was over and we cashed out with her. She said that we would be taken care of...NOBODY ever came to the table once! We had to go to the bar multiple times and order drinks ask for water then someone would drop off the drinks with multipleservers sitting around....but never check back on us or remove empty glasses. There was staff sitting, talking and rolling silverware in the booth next to us with only four tables occupied in the place plus our table. Not a single glass was ever taken off of the table when drinks we walked to the bar and ordered were delivered to the table. Not a single person gave any attention or service. Finally we left with a table full of glasses and an experience that was completely ruined. That day went from myself and friends being impressed to 5 people who will never return but will share the terrible experience as often as possible.

Came here for the mimosas, which they have bottomless for $27 that you can pick from pineapple, cranberry, grapefruit, or orange. The food was really great! Our servers were just as great and friendly. Definitely would venture back. Chill vibes and atmosphere. Would recommend!

Our waiter was amazing. The food was pretty good. We had the fried pickles. They were unique yet really good! I had the crab cake BLT, I wouldn't order it again but it wasn't bad. We would come again for sure.

Very dissapointed. Staff were great but we went there for happy hour and maybe the booze deal was great but all the food was bad. Bison gumbo was really bad. The photos in their menu was misleading and they also use pos for the checks so u are expected to tip before seeing the receipt.

Service was great. We were the only customers on a Tuesday. The oxtail arancini was delicious. And we enjoyed the cornbread cobbler salad.

Food was amazing! Service out of this world (Love you Mikey). Wish we lived here so it would be our spot. Can't wait until our next trip!!!

Stopped into this spot when I was on a weekend trip to Denver and I was not disappointed! The food was excellent. They had a great cocktail and whiskey list, with amazing specials for happy hour. The decor was super cute and created a cozy atmosphere for a weekend hang out. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Overall, a really great spot that I would absolutely revisit next time I'm in town!

Birthday happy hour dinner on a Monday in June. Revival was empty so we had the charming chef owner to ourselves, clearly we didn't require a reservation but had one anyway. He made great food suggestions, talked with me at length about ingredients, and was super attentive while acting as host, server, bartender and possibly even also chef during our visit. Because I am a huge fan of happy hour cocktail specials, I had to try the Strawberry 75 cocktail for $8.00, a Strawberry-Basil drink in a flute glass. It was cute but unremarkable as many girly cocktails are. My husband had a draft beer as usual. We were there on 75 cent wing night, so we ordered six each of two kinds, a fantastic blackened dry rub with a huge burn and crispy skin, and a solid buffalo. One ranch, one blue cheese just to try both. Yum! Husband ordered the buffalo gumbo ($9 on HH) and really enjoyed the flavor and perfect rice. I had a Cajun shrimp with remoulade that I no longer see on the menu. We were so full after that, I only ordered a side of grits to try and didn't even make it into the dinner menu. I intended to have shrimp and grits, so I will have to come back! For dessert, we received a birthday gift of the Chocolate Bourbon Boudino, which had to be one of the most fantastic gluten free desserts I have EVER consumed. Rich chocolate pudding, hazelnuts, caramel sauce. Wowza! It's probably good I don't live in Denver or I would be here every week!

This could not have been better - arrived in time for happy hour. The old fashioned for $5 was the deal. My French 75 was flavorful and strong! I ordered the vegan risotto and no I am not vegan. That being said all the fresh ingredients enticed me. The ambiance was fun- a nice bar scene. Lots of street parking. Plenty of TVs going if that interests you. There was a special pasta my husband thoroughly enjoy.

We tried this out for date night on a Tuesday night. For date night, two of you get two glasses of wine, each a choice of soup or salad, and an entrée choice of the menu each. This total package is $50. It's a great way to try revival for dinner. I also hear they have a killer happy hour. The drinks we're good. Also love the choices of wine. The house red is very good. Emily was our waitress and she helped us out throughout dinner and making fabulous choices. We found out that they're known for their crabcakes and their grits. They have two different grits dishes. One is shrimp and grits. And another one is, fried catfish and grits with a crawfish cream sauce. I got the catfish and grits with cream sauce. These choices are included in the date night special. We also got two different salads. Cory got the summer, chopped salad with the bread and butter vinaigrette, which was outstanding. I got a chef salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing. All of their dressings are made in house. And everything is seasoned impeccably. Once we had the bread and butter vinaigrette, we had to try the fried pickles with their homemade bread and butter pickles. There's also little onion slivers breaded and fried in there as well as the occasional fried garlic clove surprise. it comes with a homemade ranch and a homemade rum a lot sauce for dipping. Both are amazing and fresh. We did leave with it to go back and saw plenty more that we want to try it this restaurant. The menu is very creative. We have to go back for the churrasco poutine and the crabcakes. Absolutely the best salad place I have found in Denver so far. This is definitely a place to give a try. They have two happy hours a day if you're wanting to watch your wallet.

The menu here looks amazing and the happy hour is one of the best I've seen in a while. The service was good, but the wait to get food didn't make sense. It wasn't busy and it took over 30 minutes to get sliders, oysters and aranchini. We will be back one more time but if it takes this long to get our food again, we won't be back.

Tonight our server was Caroline and she was by far the sweetest cali girl who gave us the best service which is always the case every time I've come to Revival, we had the pleasure of hanging out with my good friend Taylor as he spun records all night and filled the vibes with great music as usual. The owners Emily and her husband Dan are the sweetest couple with great taste bringing their family traditions to all of us with the delicious gumbo from Louisiana and the crispy crab pretzel Italian style. Their two backgrounds make a beautiful collaboration between the ambience, the atmosphere the quality of the food and the drinks. I tried an orange wine for the first time and was mind blown by how smooth and sweet it was definitely a must stop shop anytime in town . This should definitely become a stable of Denver.

Fell in love with this place. I love that the owners are from New Orleans. You can definitely feel the southern hospitality & energy when you come into this restaurant. They always have great live entertainment on the weekends. The specials are off the chart. You have to try the gumbo. It's spicy, but oh so delicious. We got the crab boil, the French bread, and the gumbo. All were wonderful. They also have a game room as well as multiple lounging areas.

Highlights: The bottomless mimosas were generous and the gravy was delicious. Service and quality was a miss in my book. We dined at Revival for Mother's day brunch as a last minute reservation(day before). We were excited to try this spot because of the southern/coastal influence. The food came out on time and the drinks were great. I was especially fond of our interactions with the owner, a young woman from Louisiana who called herself and her husband from Maryland, "snooty food people." They even surprised my mother and I with roses on for the holiday. The interior is decorated in an eclectic 70's, homemade aesthetic with a variety of lamps and hand painted murals and paintings. There were only a few things that would've made the experience one worth a second visit. First, the quality. While the crab dip was what we interpreted as genuine crab, it was incredibly salty, and for the $20 price tag, I wouldn't have expected saltines as a vessel for the dip. There were about 9 baguette crisps served with the dip, definitely not enough for the entire dip. The other dishes were, average. My dad ordered the Trash Can Lid, and ended up taking the fried chicken out entirely because it was incredibly overdone and difficult to cut. No complaints about the Ham Benedict. I ordered the Southwestern Hash and it was just ok. Overall, the dishes were too salty and overpriced given the portions and quality. Second area we felt lacked was the service. While all the food and drinks came out on time, our server was pretty aggressive about the house rules and didn't make for an inviting experience. I felt as though we were talked down to, and he neglected to write down our orders. When he repeated them back to us, they were wrong. We corrected him, and luckily our food came out right. When the final bill came, there was a bit of sticker shock, and we were still charged for the chicken. Being in the industry, i'm understanding of the cost of running a restaurant, but I don't think that outweighs the cost of building trust with a new customer. The win of the experience was the bottomless mimosas. Mom was very satisfied as the server kept coming back with refills, topping the glass off to the very top. Overall, with a few customer service improvements, menu changes, and price adjustments, this restaurant could be a winner.

I have become a little bit of a neighborhood regular at Revival. I love this spot. Their happy hour being on Saturdays also is one of the big reasons why. Inside it's a nice vibe, lots of wood, kind of that new/old/retro combination. Everything is finished nicely/classy. There's ample seating and check out the different specials they have on different days of the week. They also have a couple pool tables next door that people don't always realize. The bathrooms could be better, but, ah no real biggie. I've tried different foods, as well. All have been delicious. I think I got one sandy baked oyster once, which always sucks to chew sand in your teeth, but I guess it's going to happen here and there with oysters. The food is good. They also have quite the selection of whiskys & bourbons. My friend was shocked to see Pappy Van Winkle there. I was lucky enough to share his! Lol

We had a blast. It was vinyl night, so the music was awesome. The DJ was fun and engaging. We tried the happy hour slider, gumbo, and pretzel. They were great. The bartender was on it and ready to serve! Thank you. We had a blast

Omgoodness had the spicy mussels today, yummmmm and so amazing!!! A must try. And I so enjoyed the Lunch Lady Slider, I shall return.

A great restaurant and bar with really good bar food and lots of TV at the bar for watching any games. There is a lot of cool seating in the middle as well if you are less interested in sports and more interested in talking with friends. The staff were so nice and on top of things. The food came out fast and was so good. The crab pretzel was my favorite.

What delicious cuisine is served up at this cozy restaurant in the busy E. 17th Ave corridor. We had a very friendly server and a nice atmosphere. Only drawback is a really lousy pour. Unless you're drinking diet cokes, you will be disappointed. The night we were there, the bartender must have had an eye dropper on hand to make the martinis. They are no bargain to begin with, but when the glass arrives almost half empty, there's a problem. Some brainiac thinks they are saving the restaurant money by skimping on booze, when in fact, they're losing money, because certain diners like my friends and I are annoyed and won't bother to return. Of course, we didn't speak up about it. One interaction with the manager on duty, over a routine request when our server was busy, was enough to keep us from engaging further. A real charmer. But great food!!

Ordered for delivery the other day having never heard of it before and it was pretty good! We got the fried pickles, shrimp and grits, Colorado hot chicken sandwich, and a side of Mac and cheese. The Really Good: The star was the shrimp and grits - so so flavorful and the grits were cheesy and oh so creamy. I was jealous that I didn't order it. One critique was that there could have been more shrimp. The chicken sandwich was delicious - crispy, well spiced, and I loved the creamy pimento cheese. The Meh: Pickles came in a pretty big takeaway box and it was packed! Not as crispy as we would have liked but that's the risk with delivery. They also all tasted like bread and butter pickles instead of dill so they were sweet. Not terrible but not our cup of tea. The dipping sauces were great though. The Mac and cheese also had a pretty strong and funky cheese taste, which normally I'm into (I love a good blue cheese) but just tasted too sour for my tastes. Again, edible, but not the best. Overall we would definitely order from here again and try some other dishes or try in person. I'm definitely curious about the crab dip and crawfish.

Came here for my birthday dinner and from beginning to end the staff was amazing. Had a party of 7 which they catered to without hesitation. They gave me a free birthday shot and were very attentive despite our large party. The food was amazing as well and very well seasoned and prepared. I can't wait to go back.

Rude Service with a side of mold! The former establishment must have set the bar high. Came here for a working session with coworkers and to be able to grab food and work. Wine selection isn't great, server was rude from the get go, had to ask twice for silver wear, had to remind them my drink order ... slow is an understatement! Burger came out with mold, sent it back and asked them not to bother bringing a new one. With not many food options left open by the time my flight came in, I stopped at Revival since it had a four star rating and was walkable downtown. Not being a meat eater, I had two items on the menu I could order: Brussels sprouts and Maryland crab dip. Firstly, to put "Maryland" in the title of this dip is actually offensive to the entire state and they have gone through enough this week (bridge collapse). To charge $20 for this is a true downtown scam and the reason I wrote this review. Do not be deceived by the four star Yelp ratings folks. The taste: salt with no other flavor; the crab: old stringy bits; broiled cheese on top: so hardened I needed to use a knife to cut through it; the baguette chips: a week old stale loaf then baked into extinction. Then the Brussel sprouts--this vegetable was not honored in any way in this dish. It was fried in vast amounts of oil and every bite released an oil slick into my mouth. It was mostly fried leaves that had separated from the sprout itself. This too was very salty and I had to cut away all of the over crisped leaves to get to any piece of green left. I'd say this is the worst version of Brussels I have yet paid for from an eatery. Needless to guess I woke up for my first morning in Denver feeling terrible after this meal, both physically and mentally knowing I paid for this "food."

I've been here for brunch and dinner. Both times, food has been solid. Service has been up and down. Revival has a cool, eclectic vibe with varied options for seating. Their HH includes food and beverages. Their old fashioned is an excellent deal at $5. On their regular menu, I always go for their Maryland Crabcakes. Good as a meal or a plate to share. Even though their Churrasco Poutine is listed as a small plate, it is full of skirt steak and very filling. Had a coupon for buy one menu item get one free. Was disappointed that the server took off the cheapest item (a HH dip) instead of one of the entrees like they did previously when I went with another friend. Oh well.

Visiting from out of town for a show at red rock amphitheater. Absolutely love to travel, and eat. I saw the menu and it just made sense to me, a lot of southern classics. Both my girlfriend and I got fried chicken, amazing. I had mine with a waffle and she had hers on the best chicken sandwich we've ever eaten. I admit I finally understand pickles, theirs are amazing. We also decided their Mac and Cheese will be served at our wedding. This chef knows what they are doing for sure. I've been in the industry 10+ years in restaurants like Nobu + Roy's, and I have never been so impressed Ramon and Mica crushed it, top of the line service. They were so busy and short staffed when we arrived we waited around 30 minutes, food took some time as well, but we would have waited double. They got through a rough day, and I hope they made a shit ton of money.

Looked through the window and seen some rats running by. Decided to go elsewhere. I'd rather not get sick. Better places to eat anyways.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the menu and it wasn't your same old same old. We came for chicken wing night and the wings were outstanding and .75 each! Shrimp and grits were also good but I was hoping for the southern staple I miss so much, and in turn I got a green chili version. I should have read the menu closer so my bad, but again, very interesting just not for me but I will come back and try something new very soon!

Mikey was an absolute angel!! took such good care of my table & I! The food was YUM & the drinks for happy hour were delicious!! MWAH! Will be back to stuff my tummy! ( I ordered everything as you should too!)

I enjoyed brunch here. The bottomless is a good deal although it took some time getting refills, we should have just requested the pitcher table side. The food was tasty. I was skeptical when I felt the crab dip came out lukewarm but our entrees were piping hot. What I was really impressed with also was the portion! I ordered fish and grits and could feed a small village. It also tasted great although some spice would have been nice. I would come back.

The food & cocktails were excellent. Good value for the price. Service a little slow. Nice location.

If you read my other reviews or listen to my podcast you know that I don't often leave bad reviews since I am all about promoting businesses and trying to help them do well. The experience we had here was terrible however and based on how unhappy others in the restaurant were this negative feedback feels warranted. For the record, I don't blame the two folks working that night: they were running around like mad men trying their best to take care of a whole dining room of people but the restaurant was just way too understaffed. So here goes... We came in on a Monday night for dinner and had 6:30pm reservations. There was another couple waiting at the host stand when we got there and we observed many unoccupied but dirty tables. After about 5 minutes the couple in front of us were seated and after 5 more we were too along with a nice apology from the dude in the man-bun who was playing host. It took another 10 minutes to get menus and water. Another 10 minutes to place half our order before our waiter was pulled away and then a few minutes more to put in the rest of our order. Food came out maybe 15-20 minutes later. We were unable to eat it a lot of it because we had no silverware even though we had asked for some. The food was okay but not good enough to warrant a second try given the poor experience we had that night. It is unfortunate that the management doesn't more fully staff the team.

After completing the mourning period from the loss of the previous restaurant that occupied this space, we decided to see the new iteration of our formerly favorite brunch spot. We were pleasantly surprised with what we found. The menu has a diverse selection of brunch items that had some very unique combinations of ingredients. I had the Trash Can Lid which had an excellent curation of flavors and textures. Someone else at the table had a Southwestern Melt which was well executed. The drinks were quite excellent. The service was excellent. The waitress was attentive and observant to our needs. The ambiance was cheery but lacked the coziness it previously possessed. The restrooms definitely need some attention. I was also disappointed that an entire booth was being used as a dumping ground by employees. The entire dining room should be presentable for customer use. I do look forward to coming back and trying some of the other items on the menu.

Enjoyed the ambiance here so much! The seating and lighting was great for a date night kinda vibe. The staff was super helpful with assisting us with picking a bottle of wine (1/2 of select bottles on Thursdays) and the broiled oysters were delicious. Their French fries were also super crispy and a great snack.

We had a fantastic dinner and Mikey, our waiter took great care of us! He was funny, thoughtful and very very attentive. Food was delicious- highly recommend "the Flatliner" sandwich.

Amazing food, hospitality, and entertainment! Dan and Emily are amazing in their talents, from the food to the decorations that make an atmosphere perfect for dinner and drinks.

This place is fantastic! If you walk in your first impression may be a sports bar with with TV set up but they also have some fun artwork and a cute "lounge area." While their menu has a lot of classic American food, where they really shine is with dishes that are a twist on Southern food with a Colorado flare. We tried the pork belly cornbread, apple bourbon brussels , shrimp and grits, crawfish pasta special and the chocolate boudino. Every dish looked and tasted l phenomenal and exceeded our expectations. Their pasta dish was creamy yet dairy free as it is made in a corn husk broth. The shrimp in the shrimp and grits were cooked and seasoned perfectly and the cornbread is just an explosion of wonderful flavours. Their organic wine was also delightful. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Laid back vibes, several food/beverage options for happy hour, and friendly staff... can't ask for much more! I ordered the Revival Burger and their rose from their happy hour menu. The burger was cooked perfectly and was nice and juicy. Toppings weren't anything special but it was still a great burger. My rose was a lot darker than any other rose I've had... I honestly thought they accidentally brought me their red. But it ended up being a delicious rose! The table also shared the crab dip pretzel. It was a really unique app to try and my only negative was I wish the soft pretzel was a tad crisper to hold up to the crab dip a bit better.

I feel like I've reviewed this place before, but just in case, #1 thing to no is that it is THE GO-TO eating establishment in Denver for late night dining. Denver is a surprisingly sleepy town and a lot of places close by nine and a lot of places near Revival are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. That makes Revival a must know location for staying open u til midnight 6 days a week. On top of that, its not like Revival is just some "only option" kinda place. They have separate daytime and late night menus and both are phenomenal. The staff are super friendly, which I really enjoy, especially at a place like this that I'm likely to be visiting at slower hours. The bartenders have a lot of great insight and they are doing some pretty fine stuff on their cocktail menu. Even though Revival is MY go to choice when Im in a pinch and everything around me is closing, its really a solid choice for any reason or any time of day. Highly recommend.

Looking for a place to take our son and his girlfriend for dinner before the Denver Zoo Lights, I found this place on Yelp. The atmosphere was trendy and the live music was good, if a little loud for conversation. Our server Jenna was attentive and top-notch. The food was very good. I had the Colorado Roast Beef but tried everyone else's meal as well. Claudette's tomato bisque was excellent. Our only complaint was the restrooms which were very dirty. The toilet in the women's restroom wouldn't flush. These were more akin to a college bar than an upscale restaurant.

We showed up on a Tuesday for no real reason and it was nice and empty (which Tuesdays are most places), and they had a Tuesday night date night special. $50 for two salads/soups, two entrees and two glasses of wine. The only negative thing - the bisque. Too Sweet. Everything else - AMAZING. The pork chop is fantastic. The mustard sauce is lick your plate good. We came back the very next week. It was that good. I would pay full price for the pork chop, but if I don't have to - then why? And, secondarily, I read a review of the crab dip. There was a criticism of saltines with crab dip. Well... go to Maine. That's what is is. And it's very good. :)

From the description, I thought this place was going to be like a normal American pub place that also sells southern food; however, it is actually more upscale, with the average entrees in the mid $20-30 price range. Park on side streets or Main Street. My friend got the "market price" ($24) pasta which ended up being a very unique spaghetti- not the typical meatball and marinara sauce but it's own twist- packed with strong flavor. It was good! I got the shrimp and grits ($25) and it was sooooo tasty! Very delicious sauce and well seasoned shrimp. I would definitely order this again. Banana pudding ($12) was also very good and portion was shareable. Portions were good size. The reason for the missing one star was the service. Had to ask for a spoon 3xs before getting one and the bill was extremely messed up. First the server said she would provide separate checks based on what we ordered. So she ended up giving me a check with my friends meal and her salad. Server gave my friend a check with my meal and her banana pudding. We didn't feel like fussing so we gave her our cards. She came back and gave us our cards and receipts but ended up switching them saying "oh wait this is yours" and then swapped them again "no this is yours" then one last time. In the end, I ended up paying for my meal plus my friends banana pudding, and my friend paid for my meal and her salad. I have never had such incompetence with the check before.

Heard a lot of thing about this place and left unsatisfied. Upon coming in, the vibe was very chill and different. Its fitting for the area. The service was good. Our server was great. He was on top of it- which I hope he would be since we were one of the only tables there at the time. The happy hour menu didn't have much choices and the prices weren't much of a differnce. But we tried a couple different things. Our server recommend the crab pretzel and it wasn't my favorite. I would recommend doing maybe a crab dip, because the cheese and crab on top made our pretzel very hard and not soft like it should be. The honey glaze pork belly , was differnt. The cornbread wasn't as sold fluffy as I would of liked and the pork belly was too salty- this combo just didn't go together for me. I get the chefs are trying to do something different but some things just didn't go. For the wings, we tried half Buffalo and blackened dry rub. The Buffalo was good. But the blackene dry rub had a good kick but idk if it's a good seasoning for wings, I love a good blackened white fish and this would of been great for that. For the broiled oyster, we got half the chorizo butter and garlic lemon herb butter. I honestly loved the chorizo butter the best, had the most flavors, the garlic herb was bland. It get what this place was trying to strive for and be different with all the combos, but it wasn't for me.

Having had such a wonderful experience at brunch here, my girlfriends and I were excited to come for happy hour. Happy hour is advertised to go from 3-5, so we arrived around 4. There is a VERY limited selection of food items on the HH menu and only two are shareable, which was disappointing. We got the VERY measly "cheese" plate, that basically looked like they were cleaning out the pantry. A strange assortment of pickled veggies, a mysterious glob of dip and some ... saltines. I've made more appealing cheese platters at home. After being handed the dinner menu then told we couldn't have anything on it until 5, we contemplated going somewhere else, but decided to just try another happy hour item.... Which was out of stock. Thankfully our server chatted with the chef and they were able to make the fried pickles and poutine we originally ordered which was wise, because we ended up staying and spending a fair amount of money. I really like this place and it is so conveniently located but they REALLY need to revamp their happy hour concept. More shareable items that can be ordered before 5 pm. For now, unless you want a burger or chicken sandwich at 3 pm, I'd go elsewhere.

Love this addition to the Uptown / 17th St neighborhood. My favorite element of this place is the Sunday brunch. They have a local musician or band playing every Sunday, which I absolutely love! The brunch menu itself is very delicious. Huge portions of delicious food, which is a nice change from some other brunch places around town. I had the gumbo (yum!) and cheesy grits (added a poached egg--AMAZING! 10/10 recommend). My family had the Southwestern hash and absolutely loved it. The Flatliner chicken sandwich (you can add an egg) was delicious, too. Staff is friendly and happy hour prices are reasonable (3-6 pm, Tuesday through Saturday). Saturday happy hours are rare, so that's a nice touch.

Loved the flavors of the bison gumbo and spicy collards. Service was good and the vibe was cool. Kind of miss the restaurant that used to be in this location, but happy to see the space filled - and with good food!

We had a great time at Revival last night for drinks and dinner. Service was fantastic. Our waiter Mikey is the best! He's always fun and attentive.

Highly recommend when in Denver. We came for Sunday brunch and I loved the vibe. Cross between cute living room cafe and restaurant. Delicious comfort food and cocktails! Got the catfish and grits and it was soooo good. Will definitely return next time I'm in town.

Went here on the Thursday before my wedding to celebrate with my family! Mikey was awesome and had great recommendations and perfect timing! Great happy hour and great food.

Wonderful food and amazing people! Open space bringing in nice natural light. Comfortable waiting area that might become your camp out spot while you take in the environment. Make sure to ask for Mikey P. when he's available to be a server, very bubbly personality and provides exceptional recommendations for food pairings for an excellent meal!

So I should have probably defined public house BEFORE visiting which defines as a pub/bar that sells alcohol. It's definitely more bar then restaurant. Their menu looked great and kind of odd menu for a "bar/pub" also prices are ridiculous. Like $15 burger is happy hour? And $11 for a CUP OF GUMBO or side of rice and beans. Like so much I wanted to try but seemed a bit high for what you got. I got the flat liner and wish they said in description is comes on like this thick Texas toast instead of a bun it's just too crunchy thick along with the crunchy thick breaded thigh. I got because of the bacon jam but didn't taste any at all. I wish I got the regular chicken sandwich instead. My guest got the burger and asked for no onions or revival sauce and it came with all that. The food took awhile although we were 2nd table in restaurant that arrived in the 3:30pm hour once opening. Prob won't be back was unimpressed with food/service and prices.

absolutely amazing experience! best meal I've had this whole year! I came to celebrate my work promotion and now I plan on eating here regularly.
