Fried chicken & other classic Southern comfort foods served in relaxed surrounds.
"In 2022, Revival co-owners Nick Rancone and chef Thomas Boemer combined Revival Smoked Meats, their Carolina-style barbecue operation, with their fried chicken menu on Nicollet Avenue. The Southern-style offerings range from Tennessee hot half-bird, its fatty skin expertly crisped, to classic brisket and pork shoulder. Don’t forget to add a whole banana cream pie." - Justine Jones

"This south Minneapolis fried chicken phenomenon first opened on Nicollet Avenue in 2015, and hasn’t lost its sheen since. Revival chicken comes buttermilk-marinated and super juicy. Spice lovers opt for the Tennessee hot sauce chicken or the bombastically hot “Poultrygeist.” Note that on August 14, Revival’s original Nicollet Avenue Location will close — but you can find its fried chicken just down the street at the new Revival Smoked Meats spot." - Justine Jones, Joy Summers
"An offshoot, Revival Smoked Meats, which doesn’t serve the signature chicken, but instead focuses on barbecue, is in the process of relocating to 46th and Nicollet in Minneapolis." - Joy Summers
"Revival Smoked Meats is relocating to a newly remodeled space previously occupied by Corner Table. The new venue will have expanded seating, a full bar, and an enhanced patio. The menu will include favorites such as brisket, smoked pork belly, and burgers. The restaurant will implement a service fee instead of tipping to provide better wages and benefits for staff." - Joy Summers
