"As part of the multiple varied menus available at the Fairmont Austin hotel lobby bar in downtown, there’s a dedicated raw bar slinging what it dubs as shellfish towers. The Nibble comes with lobster cocktail, shrimp, and oysters for $65. Then, the Feast comes with those items plus a crudo plate for $125. There are indoor dine-in services." - Nadia Chaudhury

Yelp
My wife and I were staying at the Fairmont Austin and twice dined at Revue for brunch. Overall I was impressed with the quality of the food. For the first day was seated with another couple on a long table. We were on one end and they were on the other. I ordered a coffee and decided to give their buffet a try. Our waitress seemed not impressed I ordered the buffet. She did bring the coffee quickly and it was really good with a nice aroma and flavor. I headed to the small room up front to see what was available and had the standard items found at hotels like eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, fruit, and yogurt. I grabbed a plate and added scrambled eggs, lots of bacon, sausage that had cheese in it, breakfast potatoes, and the wonderful eggs with chicken in it. All of it was really good but the eggs with chicken was the highlight of the buffet. It had so much flavor and very delicious. The next day I was too full for the buffet even though I would not mind just eating the eggs & chicken, but ordered the Avocado Toast with a mimosa. This time we were seated at a nice private table for two. The restaurant manager even brought out my plate and placed it in front of me where the Avocado Toast was beautifully presented. It was a large piece of grilled sourdough bread with avocado on it along with a poached egg. It was very delicious and had great flavor. I enjoyed it very much.

Yelp
This is the restaurant inside the Fairmont and I grabbed breakfast here. They have a buffet and a la carte options. The food was above par. The service was the best part. Our waitress was funny, engaging and super efficient. Big fan of Kelly! She deserves a raise and a promotion and I want to be her friend.

Yelp
The food was PHENOMENAL! we visited this location as we were staying only a block away and I just had to check it out. Sam and Maria G. from this venue were so sweet and accommodating, they really made our dinner special with stopping by the table to say hello, and following that with complimentary dessert for our special occasion. Also.. I have been talking about the garlic bread here since I left and cannot stop. I plan on returning to Austin one day and I will definitely be coming back here. (May or may not be just for the garlic bread) the restaurant itself was beautiful, I think the way they set this place up is really unique. It's multiple venues within one venue and you can mix and match different foods like Oriental, Italian and raw bar. I highly suggest the "Meal for Two". We could barely finish it! Would return here for sure, thank you Revue team!

Yelp
My recent experience at Revue in the Fairmont Hotel for a light New Year's Eve meal was nothing short of delightful. It had been a while since my last visit, and I'm pleased to report that the restaurant remains as impressive as ever. A big plus was that it was quite festive at this time of the year! We started the evening with a poke bowl that exceeded all expectations. The addition of crispy rice at the bottom provided a delightful crunch, and the creamy avocado complemented the dish beautifully, creating a symphony of textures. Each bite was a burst of freshness and flavor. The crispy Brussels sprouts and burrata plate were another highlight of the evening. The brussels sprouts were perfectly crisp, and the burrata was rich and creamy, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that left us craving for more. What truly set our evening apart was the stellar service we received from Chloe. Her attentiveness and friendly demeanor enhanced our dining experience, making us feel truly welcomed and cared for. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction throughout the evening. Revue at the Fairmont Hotel continues to impress with its commitment to quality dishes, a diverse menu, and impeccable service. Whether you're a returning patron or a first-time visitor, Revue is a dining destination that consistently delivers a memorable experience. I look forward to returning to savor more of their culinary delights in the future.

Yelp
Went here for a valentines date night. The two person $88 meal gave us three appetizers, a pizza and a pasta, which was more than enough. It came with cheesy garlic bread, Caesar salad, and meatballs. We loved that we could choose was pizza and pasta, and ended up with a margherita pizza and bolognese. Honestly, the drinks were a little overpriced and I was a huge fan of the environment- it was super touristy, which makes sense since it was in a hotel. It was great for a date, but I probably wouldn't go back

Matt V.

Yelp
Food was bad. Way too expensive. Tea and Dr. Pepper were $5 each, as in no free refills. Avoid this place. Not worth your time or money.

Tatiana F.

Yelp
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place for breakfast. I'm going to hope that their dinner experience is far better. My friends and I came here hoping for a nice bite to eat before our flight out of Austin. She was excited about getting chicken & waffles, which she said was average. My other friend got a $19 avocado toast that was lackluster -- $19?? Now we get to my meal... Honestly, my pancake and bacon were fine - no issues. However, my blueberries were moldy - which is surprisingly, considering this is housed in Fairmont Austin. I would have hoped that they checked their fruit more. Our waiter was nonexistent and it took quite a while for me to get another bowl of fruit. Surely, I thought that after pointing out the fruit was moldy they would check again before serving me another bowl...Well, I'm not sure what happened but I got another set of moldy blueberries. I'm going to leave it at that.

Yelp
I must say that my experience at Revue at The Fairmont hotel for their Sunday buffet was far from delightful. To my dismay, here are some of the reasons why I am leaving a two-star review: -Upon arriving at 9 am, the manager asked us to wait while he looked for a seat and never came back. However, a few minutes later, a wonderful hostess came by and promptly took us to our table. Her attentiveness and friendly demeanor made up for the manager's lack of hospitality (and the only reason why I'm giving this two stars instead of one). -I was extremely disappointed to find my seat cushion wet upon arrival. Nevertheless, the staff were prompt in responding to my concern and changed my seat. -Despite ordering coffee, I was not given any cream (When the coffee was delivered, I was away from the table, which is why I couldn't request the cream right away). I had to look for the server to request some. -While the food was edible, it was nothing to write home about. The offerings were fairly average, featuring standard breakfast items such as scrambled eggs, waffles, and yogurt- something one might expect from a fancier Holiday Inn. -To make matters worse, our server was inattentive and non-existent. He failed to check on us or offer water or coffee refills until we asked for them. Furthermore, he held the coffee mug with his hands over the lip of the mug, leaving a stale cologne odor that ruined the coffee experience. -Dirty plates piled up on our table, and despite the server walking by several times, they were never taken away until we asked for them to be removed. -The server only checked in with us once- at the end of the meal, when he asked if we were ready to close out. It was clear that his lack of attentiveness was not due to being overworked or understaffed, as I noticed him chatting with other tables and appearing to be in no rush to assist us. -After closing out, the manager came by and asked if everything was okay. We described everything above and simply asked if there was anything he could do for us now. However, his response, "Well, I hope you come back and change your minds," was rather disappointing, considering that it was too late to change our minds. In conclusion, I would not recommend Revue at The Fairmont hotel for their Sunday buffet, as the lackluster food, inattentive service, and overall experience did not meet the expectations one would expect at a Fairmont hotel.

Yelp
Service was great at the bar. Enjoyed a spicy margarita and some happy hour oysters Really cool vibe, kind of reminds me of Vegas with all the different food options such as seafood, Asian, and Italian. Located inside the Fairmont hotel Definitely worth trying if you're at the hotel.

Allison C.

Yelp
If you like brussel sprouts, I HIGHLY recommend the brussel sprouts here. They are DIVINE. Honestly the appetizers here were amazing and much better than the entrees. Just order a bunch of small plates and appetizers to share because all of the entrees we ordered were underwhelming. The focaccia was thick than normal but I was ok with that because , duh, more bread to eat. The olive spread that was paired with it was delicious. The heirloom tomatoes were perfectly juicy and balanced nicely with the burrata. And once again the brussel sprouts were so amazing we were dipping the foccacia in the left over sauce. The risotto was underwhelming, a little too runny, and didn't have much flavor.

Stacey L.

Yelp
Came in tonight for a pizza and drinks. The place is empty and the service was horrendous. We ended up leaving because it was taking so long to even get a drink order taken. When they came with the white wine it was hot and our cocktail was nowhere to be seen - ended up leaving and having a pizza ordered from Domino's.

Ernie P.

Yelp
We love The Fairmont and have stayed here many times. Revue, not so much... Very much airport food vibes.

Vince H.

Yelp
Great dinner experience. This restaurant is inside the Fairmont and the decor is amazing! The food itself also matched. Appetizer: focaccia bread, meatballs, and Caesar salad. The focaccia bread was so fresh and had great flavor and rise. The meatballs were moist and the marinara was delicious. The pizzas were great! And for a Neapolitan style pizza, they had a nice bready crust. The sausage pizza was by far my favorite, and was so creamy.

Liz F.

Yelp
Came here hungry and had a great espresso martini made with real espresso. The Caesar salad was so good and hit the spot. Then we each ordered a pasta dish. I had the CAVATELLI - Italian Sausage, Cherry Tomato, Broccolini, Parmesan and the other dish was the CACIO E PEPE - Rigatoni, Parmesan, Black Pepper. Everything was so good. Surprised us for a southern state known for barbecue.

Penny J.

Yelp
Food was great we tried the Caesar salad, garlic bread, and Brussel sprouts. Server was fine. We would come back.

Sabrina B.

Yelp
The restaurant was more of an open food court in a neon-light-heavy area deep within a nice hotel. Sat next to the water pitchers (why am I so unlucky with my seats despite having many open tables?!?), I was waited on by a very nice waiter. There were no complaints about the service, but it was much more about the food and ambience that made me feel like this place was lackluster. The menu is a smorgasbords of food from different countries, but never hitting the mark on any type of cuisine. The cavatelli and cacio e pepe was way too heavily peppered (I really prefer the cavatelli at Birdie's and cacio e pepe from Juniper), the prawns were grilled to the point of feeling burnt, and the vegetable were overly soggy. Although these sound like really harsh sentiments, it wasn't inedible. Just had nothing to really justify the price. What would have been better is if they stuck to one type of cuisine they're the best at and perfect it. I wouldn't come again, and would probably recommend hotel stayers to pick a different place.

Vicki L.

Yelp
Horrific service. Food was ok. Chill breakfast - good for a group if you want the buffet option.

Monica G.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner before a show. The drink was great & so was the rice. The lemondrop martini was right on point. I could have shared with another person, but i still finished it. It was delicious!

Stacey S.

Yelp
From start to finish my family really enjoyed our dinner at Revue. The atmosphere and ambiance really hit the mark for us and didn't make you feel like you were in a restaurant hotel (which sometimes can be iffy at best). Their menu is half Italian, half Asian inspired and I just wish my family ordered a little of both...we were seated next to the Asian inspired kitchen and all I wanted to do was change my order! The aroma that filled the air was to die for. In any event, we started with the Polpettini which were juicy, flavorful and the polenta that was paired with it was smooth and creamy. We also got the focaccia bread which was more than enough to share and delightfully fluffy. I'm the only one who cared for the olive spread but then again I'm the only one who enjoys olives. For our mains my husband got the pea and asparagus risotto which was super creamy and packed full of flavor (the bacon also gave it a nice crunch!) and I got the cacio e pepe which was super peppery but cooked al dente. It was a touch salty but that is par for the course when using parmesan. We didn't opt for dessert since we didn't have time but we did opt for drinks and both my husbands drink and mine were well balanced and refreshing. I would recommend Revue for a nice night out (perfect for a date night) and definitely make sure we make plans to revisit on our next trip to Austin!

Cameron N.

Yelp
It's an interesting concept to mix Asian and Italian cuisine but works out. This first floor hotel restaurant had great drinks and food, making it a solid date night spot

Lucia D.

Yelp
Great restaurant. It feels like you're in a movie set. Very nice. Asian and Italian cooked in the same area pizza was great and fried rice was excellent.

Mrs. E.

Yelp
Great food and very good service. I got the Kung Pao Tofu and it was amazing. It's a tad pricey but worth it. Our service was good.

Brian V.

Yelp
Food was amazing. All different cuisines. The kimchi fried rice was top notch, pizza was awesome too.

Yelp
During a work trip, Revue was one of the hotel restaurants. It's few and far between that you experience a really, really positive hotel restaurant (in my opinion). Sure, lots of places serve up great food... But they also serve up some really overpriced dishes. Not here at Revue! Revue is an odd mix of menu with Italian and Asian offerings. I was a little apprehensive because I feel like that's trying to reinvent the wheel a little too much instead of focusing on doing one thing really well... But they proved me wrong. Their happy hour menu for food and drinks is pretty stellar. And really, really cheap too. I'm talking like $3 beers and $6 glasses of wine, cheap. There's a lot on the happy hour menu for food that sounded great, but I saw that they had ramen on the regular menu and I couldn't be persuaded to get anything else. I went with the Shoyu and I wasn't disappointed. It came out quickly. I wasn't sure what to think when I first saw it because it didn't LOOK like much, but it really was. There's a ton of depth in the flavor of their broth and the noodles are a little on the firm side, but I liked it. Really, really solid ramen. Highly recommend if you're staying at the Fairmont or if you're just looking for a good dinner/happy hour option in the area!

Yelp
Leaving this review for the restaurant's management and the Fairmont, as our experience was everything opposite of what the Fairmont customer experience represents - "...Fairmont Austin's service professionals await the opportunity to ensure your expectations are exceeded and your time in the Texas Hill Country is unforgettable." We walked into Revue Fairmont Austin for breakfast 20min before breakfast ended. Practically empty with three servers on staff covering two tables plus ours. After being seated at our table, we were not informed of the breakfast buffet still being available. The menus were dropped on our table without any additional explanation. The first server brought us water and orange juice, but this was at least 10-15min into the experience. Unresponsive, inattentive service was the theme throughout our experience. The second server took our order, neglected to ask how we are wanted our eggs and whether we wanted pork/chicken sausage or bacon. I walked over to the server to provide our meal preferences after he already submitted our order in the system. We also proactively asked for toast on the side. The menus were left on our table as well. 10-15min our food arrived to the table. The toast was missing from our order, and our water glasses remained empty throughput the entire experience. We asked a third server for toast, however nothing arrived as a result. We then asked our first server for toast, and she happily followed through in bringing one order of toast. Checkout was extremely uncomfortable. Does anyone else dread leaving a tip for a server in real-time on a device while they're over your shoulder? My wife felt pressured into leaving a tip, despite feeling as if $0.00 was earned. Also, if you're going to have a standard preseleted tip amout starting at 18%, how about we work on providing an 18% minimum guest experience. All in all, care in providing a memorable guest service was indifferent to negative. Given Revue is situated within the Fairmont, we hope the Fairmont takes an interest in our review. Thank you.

Kim M.

Yelp
I loved Revue! I was lucky enough to get to stay at the Fairmont Austin & this lovely restaurant with an amazing menu is right inside. The drinks are great. Service is top notch. We had the edamame which I still dream of. The fried rice, the noodles, everything was so delicious!!! Can't wait to take my fiance & head back to the Fairmont!! Give Revue a try!!

Heeju S.

Yelp
I'm pretty impressed that a hotel restaurant in Austin can do a ramen that is fairly good. I was here with my coworkers during a conference for lunch and we ordered a few apps to share - the Brussels sprouts were crispy and delicious (a little too salty for my taste but still good) and the edamame was cooked in some sauce that was interesting. I had the shoyu ramen as my main and the broth was surprisingly very good - again a little bit too salty but I still enjoyed it. The egg was so flavorful, I wish I had gotten an extra one. The pork was ok - maybe just because I was expecting something more like pork belly and it seemed different, almost more like a ham. We came here again for brunch the next day, and they do a pretty good coffee here. I'd recommend getting the almond latte if that's your thing. I also had the yogurt parfait and the berry compote that was in it was sweet and so yummy! If I didn't want something on the lighter side though, I definitely would've tried the breakfast tacos.

Skyler B.

Yelp
We went here for my friend's birthday and had a great time! The ambiance is cool, it felt like we weren't in Austin anymore somehow. I ordered a Margherita pizza and my friend ordered a pasta dish, both were so delicious! Then they brought out a free glass of champagne for EVERYONE in our group for my friend's birthday!!! So incredibly kind! We would definitely be back here, a great place to celebrate a special occasion!

Bobbie R.

Yelp
We ate here 2 mornings. Thankfully our breakfast was included in the price of the room. Both mornings our servers were what made the experience pleasant. We were served by Zach and Chase (?). They both were friendly and anticipated our dining needs. The food however, was not the best for a five star hotel. My omelet was blah. I feel like it needed to be cooked a minute longer. Again, we didn't pay for it but, had we, the bill would have been $57. For 2 breakfasts and 2 sodas plus a tip. A bit steep. 5 stars for service 2 stars prices 3 stars food

Larry L.

Yelp
Ended up eating at Revue five times during a 3-night stay at the Fairmont (3 breakfasts, 1 dessert, and 1 dinner). Every meal was very good, and the service by all was outstanding. I felt each of the servers went out of the way to help, even when we had some unusual requests. A few specifics - our package included a breakfast buffet, but the hotel wasn't serving a breakfast buffet during our stay, so we were allowed to order off the menu. I particularly enjoyed the ATX Benny, which came with incredible potato fingerlings. For dessert, I had the pecan pie (a la mode, of course), and it was well rendered (not too sweet, good crust). The dinner entree was not as good - I had the lasagna, which was without character, and the sauce was too tomato-ey for me. But the edamame and won ton appetizers were solid. For sure, the prices were quite high, so I wouldn't say the food was a good value. But, if you're going to eat at a hotel restaurant, I would recommend Revue for the quality and the service.

Sarah G.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at the Fairmont last night and decided to eat in one of the hotel's restaurants. We are so glad we did. Our waitress, Michelle, provided excellent service. The restaurant has four cuisines in one, and every item we had was delectable. We chose the restaurant week's menu (the $35 deal can easily feed two people), and the food was remarkably fresh. Michelle explained every detail of our menu to us, which was a huge help. The happy hour deals are also spectacular. My husband and I woke up this morning still raving about our experience. The cherry on top of our meal was I had a $25 reward from Open Table, and because they were unsure how to process it, they took $25 off our meal. We will absolutely be back.

Clark S.

Yelp
Food was good but the service was subpar and the atmosphere was like a food court. I would like to recommend because the food was pretty good but I can't because everything else was meh.

Olivia P.

Yelp
Best breakfast buffet I've ever had, by far. Also went one night for dinner and was not disappointed. The garlic bread was one of the best things I've ever tasted. The cacio e Pepe was also great.

Larry S.

Yelp
Review is for breakfast only...might be better for other meals. The good: - Interesting atmosphere. Kind of feels like something you'd find in Vegas. - The meat products (bacon, ham, sausage) were above average. - Ordered eggs were cooked properly. The not so good: - Service ranged from good to piss poor. - Tea is not included in the buffet, but coffee and juice are? - Expensive for what you get. (Cinnamon Roll and Tea was over $22) - Baked goods were poor. We ate here three different days because of the hotel credit we had. Even though the restaurant was 1/3 full we waited 20 minutes to be seated the first day, and we were seated at a table that had been open the entire time. The next day, we called down to see if we could put our name on a list and was told they don't do that. Service ranged from attentive to non-existent. One server made sure we had water/coffee/juice and on another day a different server didn't bring coffee until were were about done with our meal and never offered juice. Coffee is supposed to be included with the buffet, but the tried to charge $7 one day. Tea is extra with the $26 buffet. The baked goods we tried were very sad. The $15 Cinnamon Roll was dry, overbaked, and the frosting was gritty. Other baked goods with the buffet were soggy. We did try the $23 classic breakfast which was decent. Eggs were cooked as ordered and the potatoes had good flavor. If you don't have hotel credit to use, you might have a better experience at the IHOP down the street.

Deanndra S.

Yelp
French Toast was out of this world. Banana caramel and chantilly cream was amazing flavor combo but very very sweet. Calories don't count when there is fruit in the meal- worth every bite

Anh N.

Yelp
What a great concept for the Fairmont! Came to Revue on a Saturday evening. Beautifully decorated it's a huge space with four different food concepts in one area. Majority of plates are tapas to share between 2-3 and each plate was delish! We also had complimentary dishes from the chef to try! Cheeseboard with jams and wood fired bread -yummm Japanese pancake - interesting flavors and you'll know why with what it's topped with Pizza - thin and simple wood fired goodness Brussel sprouts - I'll eat my veggies if they're all prepared this good! Korean wings - flavorful We had a slight sloppy waitress that spilled half my drink on the table and didn't clean it up and rarely checked on us. But the food and overall ambience made up for it. Great place to take out of towners for sure! Valet park your car with the hotel and they will validate!

Shanae A.

Yelp
RICK the bartender is outstanding, he made me a passion fruit margarita and all I can say is YUM. CHRIS the barback is a delight! ALIF always gives us a warm welcome when we come dine, I can NOT think of a better trio. They are the only reasons I ever step foot in Revue. Also the manager is Garrison.. ERIC? Is he not the most elegant man roaming? He makes your dining experience one of a kind! 10/10 will forever recommend.

Olive S.

Yelp
So we went on a very busy night, yet only One of the restaurants in the food court was open-the pizza place. I give the pizza a two out of ten... Completely soggy-almost only dough! That wasn't the worst part though.... When the waiter brought my espresso martini, the whole side of his hand was touching my drink! As he handed it to me, he was holding it with his fingers over the rim (hands on top Of the glass)! He laughed as he set it down and said he must have spilled some on his hand, but you could see (with how he was holding it) that the side of his hand was actually in my drink! Needless to say, and being the germaphobe that I am, I was not able to drink the martini. Covid has definitely changed my threshold for germs; but I think anyone would have not been ok with someone's unwashed hand in their drink. Either way, it was a disappointment all around.

Amy L.

Yelp
The bartender was really great and service was wonderful. If just discussing that it would have been 5 stars. I ordered the buratta and it wasn't good. The inside was completely runny. Also, be aware if you have any food sensitivities because the menu does not reflect the actual ingredients. Example: menu shows the buratta is served with "sourdough." It's actually served with a sort of sourdough garlic bread with lots of oil, garlic and red pepper flakes. Had I known about these added items, I wouldn't have ordered it. Same with the broccolini that showed up smothered in garlic and chives. Finally, I ordered a glass of wine and it had clearly been open for at least a couple of days. I'd think a restaurant like this could buy some kind of wine preservation system but they just put a cork on and call it a day. Bummer. I was super excited to eat here.

Josh M.

Yelp
The food here was incredible. I got the crispy chicken bowl and it was so great! The chicken was breaded well and the spicy sauce they provided to pour on top was very good. My wife ordered the risotto, which was also very good. It had seafood mixed in and was in a delicious cheese sauce. The food was all incredible. The downside was the service. We had a party of 11. We were told there were no spots available for us. The two hostesses were trying to send us away after we told them we didn't mind either pulling up a couple chairs or splitting up into two parties. Then, we asked to speak to a manager who was standing right by us. He also told us no tables were available, so I took the liberty to search the restaurant myself. Low and behold, an empty table that seats 10! I told the manager that we would be fine pulling up a chair, he still wouldn't budge. So I then had to proceed to tell him that we had already given lots of $$ to the hotel and would love to eat there. I told him that we were there for a wedding, the bride and groom were with us. Finally, he conceded. And, our bill was over $1K. (Our family ordered multiple drinks and bottles of wine). All that being said, this place has great food, but they almost lost out on a lot of money by trying to turn us away. Some serious management issues need to be worked out. One should not have to BEG to eat at a restaurant where there were obvious tables available. That's crazy.

Julia V.

Yelp
This was probably the worst dinner I've had in Austin unfortunately. I got the spicy vodka pasta (recommended by the waiter) and it was awful. There was absolutely no flavor, it had a weird texture, and had sort of a woody taste (like the pasta they used was old). The service also wasn't great. The drinks took forever to come, so much so that we had to remind our server. It's not like this place was busy either there was only one other table. I really liked the ambience of this place but the food and the service really ruined it for me. I will also mention that I do not have any food intolerances but I had the WORST stomachache after I ate, and so did the other members of my party that ate the pasta. Some people did opt for the Asian food on the menu and they had positive reactions to it so if you go here I recommended ordering Asian.

Andrew C.

Yelp
A miniature dining hall on the first floor of the Fairmont hotel featuring different cuisines: pan-Asian, Italian, raw bar, pastries, cured meats and burgers. Seating is shared so diners can order from any of the different kitchens - a plus if your group has different dining preferences. Staff is polite, attentive and accommodating. We came in for brunch and had the option of the buffet (standard fare - eggs, sausage/bacon, breads, bagels, oatmeal, fruits) or from the menu. Since we wanted to see what the kitchen had to offer, we ordered a few things off the menu. A burrata with mixed tomatoes salad to start (this was the star of brunch). We also had the Tasso Ham and Eggs (good) and a ham and cheese crepe (ok - but not our favorite). Pricing is reflective of Revue's residency as hotel dining. They do have a champagne cart that goes around for those interested in some bubbles with brunch. I lean more towards 3 1/2 stars, but rounding it up since there are likely growing pains as the hotel ramps up operations. Willing to come back for dinner possibly to see how that is.

Catherine M.

Yelp
Our breakfast experience here was very lack luster. Now the location is beautiful, and fairly easy to get a spot. We ate breakfast here one day and it took a while for things like biscuits and sausage gravy, and an acai bowl. The acai bowl was not like anything you have had as it legit was just like a yogurt bowl? The sausage gravy and biscuits were good but nothing to write home about. The house black coffee was gross but I enjoyed their espresso. Service was weird, our waitress was nice but a bit awkward.

Rob P.

Yelp
This is my new favorite happy hour. I almost don't want to tell anyone because I don't want it to be ruined, but it was simply great. It runs Monday through Friday from 5pm-7pm, so we hopped over here at around 6/6:30pm after hitting another HH. We didn't realize it was basically a hotel restaurant, but it's apparently a GREAT hotel restaurant. It reminded me of a Las Vegas buffet, only you're ordering a la carte from the different stations around you. We sat at the bar and had excellent service from Alexis. Beers and select cocktails were half off, so we had a couple $3.50 craft beers and my friend had a $6.50 cocktail. For food, we got the margherita pizza ($6.50), chili wontons ($5.50), and blistered edamame ($3.50). The prices are just amazing for how much you get. I'll 100% be going back to get this great pizza, and the edamame portion was just overflowing. There's a few other food items I'll definitely be trying when I return as well. So many places around town do happy hour on just drinks, so I'm always looking for a food option, too. Revue kicked ass in price and quality. $31 for two people before tip for all that!

Yelp
This is a review for their ayce brunch. It is AMAZING. The place looks very "vegas" like, ie it's a large space with multiple themed sections (ie asian theme, tex mex, etc...). There is live music playing (at least on saturdays). The cold bar is amazing, unlimited shrimp cocktails, and oysters. OYSTERS!! The dessert bar is great too. The other bars not so much but the order as you eat hot food items are great. basically they give you a small menu card with some items (sweets, salty, all fares, etc) that you can order and it comes out fresh and hot. Definitely get the churros and the fried rice.

Yelp
This is an AMAZING place for brunch. They accommodated our large party of 10+ and were so incredibly nice and warm in their service. There is a $35 per person brunch buffet where you have access to multiple rooms of food (hot foods, baked goods, fruits, fresh seafood, and desserts) along with a short menu of food to order from, in addition to the self serve areas. All of their food was delicious, I especially enjoyed the chicken and waffles, warm chocolate chip cookies, biscuits, but everything was really excellent. On top of all of this incredible food, they also have $2 mimosas, $3 beers, and $4 bloody Marys! This place just opened recently, but it's a fantastic addition and I'm sure it will be super busy once everyone hears about it. HIGHLY recommended, one of the best brunches I've had (and I'm not even a big brunch girl) - so major props to revue. Thank you for the great food and even better service.

Yelp
Went to REVUE for brunch with TravelZoo deal ($22 with the deal and $35 if purchased at the restaurant). We love the brunch buffet. One can order individual plates as seen in the picture as much as one wants plus breakfast buffet, oyster, smoked fish and shrimp buffet. When we were there, they have a band playing too. Crowds were too busy to our liking but the server took care of us. Everything we had were delicious, but love those individual bowl of wonton peppercorn specials (no pic) We'll be back.

Yelp
This review is for the brunch. Excellent selection of brunch items that ranges from hot items ( scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, chilaquiles, sweet potato hash, etc.), a variety of baked goods and cold items (raw oysters, jumbo cocktail shrimp, smoked salmon, etc.) The build-your-own brunch menu card had items like chicken n' waffles (so good!), breakfast brisket taco, blueberry pancakes that are included as well. These menu items are small portions, which is perfect so you can try them all and reorder whichever you like best. There's a dessert/candy table in the front and they give out little to-go pouches so you can stock up and enjoy later. And mimosas are only $2! I've had Moonshine Grill and Jack Allen's brunch buffet, which are good but definitely think that this place is better and worth the extra $

Yelp
Good food, friendly servers...but uncomfortable ambiance. They're attempting to make it feel like you're on set of a movie...but the fluorescent lights create an unflattering glow on your dinner guests. The restaurant was eerily empty for a Saturday night. The menu lacks variety. They have pasta, pizza, or salad (it's not green, just watery salad). I will not be back with so many alternatives in the city. $50 later and I'm still hungry...

Yelp
Disappointment would best describe my experience at the breakfast brunch for which I had a reservation at 10:00 a.m. last Saturday. As a general rule, when I come to a buffet an hour or less before it ends, I temper my expectations. In this case, REVUE did not meet my modest expectations. So why four stars? Two nights prior to my experience with the REVUE brunch, my party and I enjoyed a wonderful late night dessert at REVUE that included Texas-sized slices of pecan pie, chocolate chip cookies, milk, and coffee drinks. Additionally, the general manager, upon hearing about my disappointment with REVUE's breakfast brunch contacted me and made things right. I figure that alone is worth two stars. I had met the GM the evening prior at Garrison (see separate review for Garrison), the over-the-top EXCELLENT wood-grilled restaurant also in the Fairmont. I know that my feedback will improve the issues I experienced and I'm looking forward to giving REVUE another try on my next visit to the Fairmont. Overall, the hotel is absolutely over-the-top, a must-stay while in Austin. I'm an avid and frequent Fairmont guest, and in my view, the Fairmont Austin is among the very best in the portfolio.
