"Rewild Plant Food & Drink (1546 Hancock) will close — for now — after service on January 13. Leading up to its opening, the business dubbed itself a vegan beer hall (and cafe by day) but ended up debuting in a temporary Quincy Center space, slated for demolition, with permitting that only allowed for alcohol service on weekends. Thus, Rewild version one leaned more on the restaurant/cafe side of the equation. Now the team is seeking a permanent space — or multiple spaces — in Boston, Quincy, or elsewhere around the South Shore to fully realize its vegan beer hall dreams." - Dana Hatic

I am so impressed with their orchid selection here. I got the yellow Oncidium that’s been on my list for a while. REWILD also carries a wide variety of different house plants including rare (or at least what used to be rare) plants. I also picked up Ficus Shivereana from here. Artie who works here is super knowledgeable and fun to talk to. I highly recommend this place to any new/experienced house plant lovers.

I can’t say enough good things about REWILD! And I can without a doubt credit this store and RT for my daughter’s plant hobby and obsession! Everyone who works there is so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful…always teaching us and sharing their love for plants. They have a wonderful selection of plants and planters, and can help you pick what is best for your home, lifestyle, and environment. Their plants also make great gifts and their care cards are super handy. I’ve had to use the 90 day plant warranty twice and have never had an issue. So glad REWILD opened and lucky to them so nearby!

My new favorite plant store in the DMV. Nice selection and reasonably priced pots too. The best part is the individualized attention! Artie is lovely and teaches me so much each time I stop in. He diagnosed/replanted a few of my old plants that weren’t doing well and now they are looking good again. He does custom terrariums as well - you can even bring in your own planter and he’ll design it for free! I only paid for the cost of the materials. We love it and can’t wait to come back and have him create another!

Every time I go into Re:Wild at Cabin John there are beautiful plants & fun pots tempting me to take them home! I have always found the staff to be very friendly & helpful. I recommend going on a Saturday so that you can meet Artie. He is very knowledgable, friendly and has a great eye for creating custom plant arrangements!

I do not have a green thumb. I’m embarrassingly ignorant about plants. But I have bought so many plants from ReWild because the store calls to me!! The CJ location is so charming, it’s full of the most lovely plants and pots I forget I don’t know what I’m doing. And the single best part of ReWild- ARTIE!! He has been so incredibly helpful and encouraging to me in my plant journey (um, I went 0 to 60 real fast). He’s taught me a lot and I’ve genuinely grown to love plants! I can’t think of a better example of customer service- he’s knowledgeable and enjoys teaching and truly wants to help everyone find the right fit. He quickly gets to know customers and will honestly point them to the right type of plants for their skill level (ha!), light situations, watering habits, etc. I have spent more $ on plants than anything this year and it’s all Artie’s fault! ;) Kidding! Thanks to Artie I think I may actually be a “plant person”. Maybe my thumb will turn green in time.

I’ve been to this location many times. I can say each and every time the workers have been really helpful and kind. I’ve gotten a couple of plants and pots here and I absolutely adore them. I will totally recommend coming here especially if you are first starting out with houseplants. Also I recommend speaking Artie he is really kind and helpful with anything questions you may have.

I took two aloe plants for repotting, since I don't have experience with succulent plants. Victoria is the staff person who helped me. She was knowledgeable and patient as she helped me select new pots, giving me pros and cons of sizes and shapes of various pots and options for separating the plants or keeping them together. I posted before and after repotting photos. I think it's clear which is which. Victoria added sustainable hulls to the soil, explaining the hull/soil ratio and other details about the best soil for the plants. She was very considerate, explaining why she would trim certain leaves off and asking permission before doing so. When I left she gave me a care card for the aloes...and for the new little plant I couldn't resist buying! I'm looking forward to taking other plants to Victoria so that she can repot them and teach me more about them. Though if you prefer to leave the plants to be repotted while you shop at the grocery store nearby or get lunch in the shopping center, she did offer drop of service.

I got this Begonia at the end of August and took a photo of it a month later. It's grown some new leaves! I had thought I wasn’t good at caring for Begonias after losing two, but it turns out their roots weren’t as strong and healthy as the one from Rewild. I also bought a Peperomia caperata, which requires much less attention than the Begonia and is thriving. It’s almost like a fake plant! I found out that Rewild has a 30-day return policy if plants die, but I’m glad I haven’t had to use it.

Yelp
Had a lovely experience at Rewild - highly recommend for all your plant needs. I brought in a struggling plant in hopes of finding a replacement and the staff member was so knowledgeable and helped me find a new plant that was best suited to my environment. They offer free repotting and you can get your plant's soil topped with different types of rocks for a small fee. You even get a customized care card to take home to help you remember how to care for your new plant. The store itself is lush and full of a good variety of houseplants. Everything seems very well taken care of and the prices are pretty reasonable too.

Yelp
Came upon this little plant nursery by pure chance, and now I keep coming back! Rewild at Cabin John is cozy little shop with a great selection of house plants! Staff is incredibly well educated on all plants in the store, and everything is separated and labeled for the areas in the home they are best suited for. They will also fill out a care card if you want something more tangible to take home with your plant. I love supporting this business, and try to find something to buy even when I'm not looking to buy a plant. They also run workshops, which I'm hoping to attend at some point! Please do yourself a favor and make this shop part of your go-to list!

Yelp
I have previously been to Rewild in DC but let's be real, yes DC has the best plant shops but that drive can be a hassle! SO - I was surprised to find out Rewild had a new store in Potomac. I attended the Kokodema workshop with a friend and truly the experience was wonderful. As a plant mom I'm always looking for new plants (that I can't easily kill) to add to my collection. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted and offered a space to put down purses/jackets, also offered refreshments! Our instructor was amable and very thorough with instructions for the Kokodema. The whole experience was hands on and we even got time after to do some shopping. All of the plants looked so healthy and the instructor was extremely knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. Overall great experience/shop to pick up a new plant!

Yelp
Overview: Found this hidden local gem today and visited for the first time. It's a small, cute shop filled with small to mid size plants. Staff member Artie was friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful- he helped me find the perfect plants to add to my dart frogs' vivarium! They had some cool plants in there including a hanging trailing plant with leaves shaped like dolphins (forget the species name). They also have some plants on sale for great pricing. Bought a cute little paddle plant. Loved: Convenient location right in Cabin John shopping center, the customer service, look & feel of shop, and variety of plants. Would I Recommend? Must visit if you're a plant lover. I'll def be back! Suggestions for Improvement: Offer mint/fruit water for customers! Incentivize them to hang around longer and thus buy more plants.

Yelp
My 10 year old and I stumbled upon Rewild by accident while looking for an indoor plant for a dimly lit room. The store is cozy and adorable. As opposed to getting an arrangement already put together, my 10 yr old wanted to do it herself. Arty was incredibly knowledgable, helpful, and patient with my daughter and I in not just picking out plants but offering suggestions for putting the arrangement together. Much to my surprise, he supplied us with the rocks and moss to put it together. Given the "extras," I thought the prices were reasonable. I look forward to visiting Rewild again soon!

Yelp
Am so happy to have found this lovely little plant shop. There were so many different beautiful plants! Arty was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and was able to help me with a plant problem I was having. Can't wait to go back for our next plant baby.

Yelp
What a truly lovely store. I just happened to see the street sign that Re-Wild was in the shopping center and I popped in, Victoria and Artie were so knowledgeable and helpful. I have been to the ballston location, this one is so much closer and they have such a great variety of plans will definitely be returning.
