Awesome flavors! Decent prices and perfect size drinks! Well worth the trip. Flautas were a bit over done and salsa a little soupy, but still flavorful.

Mad at my husband for not taking me here sooner and I’ve been living here for a year and a half. The service was great and the food was just so incredibly delicious. The best Mexican food I’ve ever had to be honest. If I had to pick a last meal, it would have to be something from Reyna’s.

Awesome service and the food is phenomenal. I don’t eat here often, however if I’m ever in the area it is a must for me.

Delicious hidden gem. Small, out of the way restaurant. Great food and fast friendly service.

Disclaimer: Take this review as someone who has an iron stomach and who ate here 4 times. So. I've never encountered a restaurant where every time I've dined here it felt worse and worse. I can't be generous with 2 stars. Because the more I think about the slop of food the more I feel a little sick. Service is aight it's normal. Only complaint and this is coming from a Hispanic who was born and raised in Midland but due to the digital age. I don't know Spanish and I sure as much didn't come to this establishment so I can have awkward stares with the waitress as I tell them what I want in English only for them to tell me if I know Spanish which thankfully my grandparents helped me with that.... Jeezzz.... The atmosphere is limited because of the space but it's not bad . We then have the food... Where to start. Throughout the 4 times I've had: Cheese smothered burrito, Cheese fries, Munudo and a Barbacoa Torta.. So first off. This food ain't made fresh it is hella obvious with things like the cheese and soup from the meat from the Munudo, and even the meat from Barbacoa. It is appalling how you can absolutely taste it. I was also informed about things like you microwave your food using microwaves and if you were to come and dine in near closing time and order a horchata you'll get the bottom strange parts of it because you guys don't mix it occasionally, same goes for lemonade. Although these are rumors. Wouldn't be superised It is rough and tough to say what is even good there. Maybe the chips and salsa you start off with. That is literally it! My grandparents also changed their minds about this place being good or decent and so we won't come back thankfully. But this is just a warning for those who really reads these. Don't. Plz. I haven't felt the need to puke in forever. Oh before I forget. Parking is atrocious!

Yelp
Off the beaten path! This place has been in business for 18 years! I came here to eat Menudo, it was delicious! I walked in the door 2 minutes before closing time. In 30 seconds I had something to drink, 1 minute chips and salsa, within 5 minutes I was eating my Menudo!!! The service from my waiter Miguel was lightning fast speed. He was a nice young man on his summer break from college. He is going to college in Mexico City, Mexico and will complete his Bachelors Degree in 6 months. He came here to work and practice his English during his summer break. Great Food, Great Service, Great People!!! Authentic, Down Home People, nothing fancy, but great!

Yelp
Good food and service, the price is a little high on somethings, worth it. The wait staff is on it and quick service.

Yelp
Another location that rips people off but this place really screws you over. I ordered the taco plate to go with a Mexican coke. $19.70 just for that. Yeah I should've walked away right away but I was starving and didn't want to keep searching. I figured well at least it's 5 tacos with rice and beans. Well I was sadly mistaken. It's only 3. That's right 3. And they aren't even fat tacos. Skimpy, meat is tuff and no flavor at all. They over cooked the meat and it shows the cook is lazy because he didn't even cut up the meat. Beans and rice didn't make this meal any better. How do you mess up tacos, beans and rice. Smh. I will never again let my hunger get the best of me. Stay away unless you don't mind losing an arm and a leg. Only positive I see from this is the employees are very nice. Guess they trying to butter you up before you realize they are screwing you.

Yelp
The Mexican food here is, quite frankly, outstanding. Purely authentic. Our dinner was so great, we ordered breakfast from here the very next morning. Looking forward to our next trip to Midland so we can order from Reyna's.

Yelp
We wanted Mexican food and found this great place on Yelp. The moment we entered the restaurant until we left, we were treated like family. VANESSA was our wonderful server, and we will ask for her again. Before we could ask for more chips, salsa, or iced tea, a refill awaited. There was leftover food and tea, a to go box, and a drink cup was provided without asking. As we paid for our meal, the cashier advised us they open at 6 am daily and serve breakfast all day. We could call in an order, and if we couldn't come in to pick the order, no problem, they would be happy to bring it out to the vehicle. The food and service are top-notch. Thank you for a wonderful experience, we will return.

Yelp
Don't let the building discourage you the Food was excellent fast friendly service. The salsa was actually good which is hard to come by.

Yelp
My favorite chicken fajitas or close to it. Been going here for years. Salsa and queso are great too.

Yelp
Spot on Mexican food. The owner is great, Menudo is awesome, all the sauces are house made. Enchiladas are a fav around here. It's a little out of the way and not in the best area of midland, but this place does it right. They also have a gas station beer cooler type setup. So if you need some beer for the weekend, they got you covered.

Yelp
We were on our way out of Midland, heading back to the Dallas area and wanted to grab some breakfast before we hit the road. We were craving breakfast tacos so we found this place off of I-20, so we decided to try it. I wanted this breakfast to be better, but it wasn't. The menudo needed seasoning, and I wish they cooked the oregano into the menudo instead giving us dry oregano. The tacos, were nothing to write home about and the eggs were overcooked. They didn't have salsa verde either which is a bummer.

Yelp
Fast attentive service! Got seated quick even though it was insanely busy! The food was great! I got the 2 red 2 green enchilada with rice & beans combo plate. Only thing was the red sauce was awful. It tasted like weird peanut sauce and no tomato flavor whatsoever. I suggest getting 4 green instead. The verde sauce was 10/10. Had a great spicy kick to it and the rice was cooked well. (Didn't try the beans) The limonada was fresh and delicious and the horchata was the best I've had in midland, smooth and creamy. So incredible! I highly recommend this place and can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Had high hopes from the posted reviews however my experience was not great. The good: Service. The bad: Stale chips, fried items were saturated with oil and meal was cold.
google avatar

Jason W.

Yelp
Outstanding menudo. Bacon is great. From looking at the plates as they came out, everything they serve looks great.

Amy C.

Yelp
Service isn't great and food is okay. I think this place is catered to the men that go on their lunch break because our service has always been poor and the attention is always on the table w men in oilfield uniforms.

Yelp
Very delicious with large portion sizes! It's a little out of the way in the south side of town but very much worth it for a your Mexican food fix.

Martin T.

Yelp
Great place to stop at, offers no-frills Tex-Mex similar to South Texas restaurants. My wife and I ordered a torta, some tacos, and a chicken fajita salad to sample. The torta was fantastic, the best I've had since moving to Central Texas a several years ago. Taco and salad were good, but the torta was definitely superior. I recommend taking the bottom bun off the torta to rebalance the ingredients. We also got a bacon/egg and bean/cheese breakfast burritos to reheat the following morning, and their beans were fantastic. I would definitely recommend Reyna's Cafe. We had our food delivered, so I can't speak to the cleanliness of the restaurant, but everything was packed well with good sized portions.

Yelp
I've been going to Reyna's off and on for about 12 to 13 years now and they just keep getting better so if your ever in the area just south of I20 on Midkiff I would highly recommend you stop have a seat or take it Togo

Yelp
Nice spot right down from the office on cr 1702. Had the menudo with a side of lengua and barbacoa. Great flavors and everything was hot and fresh. Barbacoa could have been a bit leaner but good flavor and not greasy. MENUDO was solid and just needed a pinch of.salt to make perfect. Stop by and check it out. ALSO you can buy plenty of adult beverages to go ad well there's a cooler of beer and other things

Yelp
OK...these burritos are the best in town according to several people I know & myself! Everyone I work with has made a "burrito run" to Reyna's at some point. Here's what make them the best: 1.) The Cheese - they use some creamy kind of mexican goat cheese I think it's asadera but i'm not sure. 2.) The Eggs - they aren't your typical scrambled eggs...I think they actually just scramble the egg in the pan slightly. It's more like fried eggs. 3.) The Tortillas - it doesn't get better than homemade tortillas! mmmmm There are many die-hard Jumburrito fans out there but I challenge you to try Reynas next time! You won't be disappointed. The only bad thing about it is the location. It's close by my office but I work in the county. It's pretty far for most people in town.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite restaurants, ANYWHERE! The have authentic Mexican, Puebla style food that is absolutely unbeatable! Even the physical style of the restaurant and layout feel like something more akin to Puebla than Midland :) The owner is almost always on site, ensuring that service and food are always up to par. My favorite are the Tacos de Carne Asado. Amazing. If you've never been, definitely worth the trip.

Yelp
First, they have moved. Corner of wall and midkiff in that hotel there with the moose statue. I have been going here for a long time. It is hit or miss, some days better than others, but overall it is one of my favorite mexican spots. I will usually get the steak hueracha, tacos, tortas, or nachoes. They have awesome white queso, good chips and salsa, and horchata.

Yelp
Been in Midland for week now and been here 3 times. Every time a great experience and delicious authentic food. I will be coming for breakfast soon

Yelp
Menudo!!! Best Menudo in town, seriously!! This place is awesome. Very good service! They have a great breakfast menu filled with all types of burritos, and many authentic Mexican foo dishes... but the Menudo is where it is at! Love it!!

Donna M.

Yelp
Great authentic Mexican food! Their red and green sauce is some do the best in Midland. I personally live their salsa and chips!!! Friendly service. One of our favorite places to eat.

Yelp
Came here a few weeks ago. Service was good. My husband and I order the menudo and it had an awful smell to it. Took a bit of it and was not impressed. Tasted exactly how it smelled! Also had ordered a barbacoba burrito. It was pretty good. I will give it another try just not ordering the menudo again.

Yelp
I picked up a mixed bag of burritos to bring to a customer luncheon, everyone raved about then so I tried a fajita burrito, it was exceptional!

Yelp
My husband and I love Mexican food. We are working our way through all the places in town and found this gem because of The Weekender magazine. It lists certain types of restaurants on the back page. We pull it out and pick a new place to eat. Well we found a new favorite. Everything we had was delicious. From the chips and salsa, to his burrito and my tacos. We usually get the same thing. He gets barbacoa and I usually get the steak or sometimes the asado. I picked the steak tacos and was not disappointed. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for really good mexican fare.

Colten M.

Yelp
Best tacos in town. But there isn't anything on the menu not worth trying. This place is A+ I clean my plate everytime I walk in and, every time I try a new Mexican food nothing compare to Reynas. I would eat here every morning if I could.

Yelp
I was meeting some family for a few hours on December 22, in Midland. Since Reyna's is a top reviewed restaurant in Midland and appears to be delicious, we agreed to meet there. I came from West Texas and arrived at about 2:30 in the afternoon. My family was running behind due to road work on westbound 20 and was just a few minutes behind me. I sat down and was given a menu, asked for a coke and guacamole and began looking for something delicious to eat. I could hear the waitresses arguing in Spanish about who was going to tell me that the restaurant was closing and I would need to order for the whole table. Knowing we would be visiting for quite awhile during lunch, I made sure the restaurant was open for dinner. Yelp, White Pages and a sign out front said they were open until 9. A lady finally came over and asked me to order for the whole table, and when I asked her why everywhere else stated a closing time of 9pm, she said it was for the holiday. This was the Monday before Christmas. Absolutely ridiculous. I asked her for another restaurant close by since I was in an unfamiliar town and she gave me directions to a closed restaurant. One star for lack of service. I did not eat anything here.

Tony K.

Yelp
I have nothing but good things to say about Reyna's. My favorite fajitas, chile verde and asado in town. Chips and salsa's great. Good queso. And you know a place is good when you can make a meal out of the rice and beans. Awesome sweet tea too.

CE J.

Yelp
i called just make sure they were still open (more on that later), thank goodness they were. i had been craving the cochinita pibil tacos and really needed a fix. as always the best!! they have wonderful salsa & chips, beans & rice are yummy too. you can't go wrong ordering anything on the menu. by the way...reyna's mexican resturant at midkiff & wall doesn't have the same owners...they rented from the real reyna's & when they left they took the phone # & name...do not let them fool you. they should be ashamed thinking they could get away with it.
