We went to Rice & Bones on Three Kings’ Day and it turned out to be one of those places you’re genuinely happy to have found. The location is very central and the interior is warm and nicely decorated, the kind of space where you immediately feel comfortable sitting down for a proper meal rather than just a quick bite.
From the moment we walked in, the welcome was excellent. There were two people looking after guests: he took the time to explain how to place and pay for our order directly from our phones, step by step, and she took care of us throughout the meal with a super friendly and attentive attitude. It’s the sort of service that makes the whole experience feel easy and relaxed.
Because it was a holiday, we chose the festive menu, which includes a starter and one of their many rice options. All of the rices we tried were genuinely recommendable, each with its own flavour and texture, and I’m adding three photos because they’re worth seeing. The final bill was under 30 € per person with everything included, which felt very reasonable for the quality, the amount of food and the location.
Rice & Bones is definitely a place I would recommend if you’re in Alicante and want to enjoy good rice in a cosy setting with kind, helpful staff and a price that makes you want to come back.
