"Rick and Roxy’s is a two-in-one bar that requires a bit of explanation. It’s all themed after the 1970s; Rick is a more easygoing bar, with a decorative rock wall and attached game room where guests can play Skee-Ball. Roxy’s, however, is the more outgoing side, all neon lights and begging to host a dance party. The decor is immersive, as are the drinks, with well-composed cocktails made for vibey moments." - Dianne de Guzman

"This Marina bar has two rooms: one is Rick’s, a ‘70s-themed cocktail bar with arcade games and lots of seating, and the other is Roxy’s, a nightclub complete with a DJ, light-up floor, and punch bowls served in hollowed-out disco balls. You can chill in a booth and sip on a coconut tequila espresso martini at Rick’s from Wednesday to Sunday, but the dance floor at Roxy’s is only open Friday and Saturday nights." - ricky rodriguez, julia chen 1

I spent my New Year's Eve 2025 here, and while the vibe was great, there were a few drawbacks. The drinks are a bit pricey (not that great for the price they charge), and they include a 22% gratuity. One major issue was that they don't keep track of how many people they let inside, which led to a literal stampede on the dance floor! If you're planning to have a nice time dancing with friends, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. The venue just isn't organized enough to handle a large crowd. That said, it’s still a solid club/bar overall.

Rick and Roxy’s brings a completely new experience to the Marina! I went with a group of co-workers and it was perfect! The Ricks side is cozy and great for table conversations. Not to mention the cocktails are amazing! Would recommend the Purple Disco Once our group finished our cocktails on the Ricks side we hit the dance floor on Roxy’s. The light up dance floor brings so much energy to this club! Bathrooms are clean and staff is friendly and accommodating. Don’t miss out and add Rick and Roxy’s to your next night out in SF

As a solo traveler new to SF this was the first place on my list to visit and it didn’t disappoint. The drinks and decor are top tier. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive to everyone- you’ll never have to wait long for service and you’ll always feel welcomed here. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere on the Rick’s side while getting the chance to play some skeeball and darts while making new friends. I highly recommend trying the Purple Disco or Porn Star Martini for cocktails. Roxy’s side absolutely can’t be beat for a lively great time. The music selection is the best in the area! Had fun and felt comfortable the entire time. Will be back to visit often!

The DJ's don't play much 70's music, and if they do, it's a 10 second portion that they use to transition into a Taylor Swift song. Go here if you are looking for a safe club, if you are ages 21-24, if you are looking for Midwestern white Caucasian music and vibes, and if you are looking for nice photo opportunities Don't go here if you want to dance to disco music, it's a front. It's just annoying, why decorate the bar in a disco vibe if you're going to play y2k music? To pay the bills?

I spent NYE here with my husband and friends. We had an amazing time filled with laughter and dancing the whole night. I am happy we got bottle service which made the night spectacular. Thank you, Rick and Roxy’s for starting 2025 right!

WOW! First time coming to this bar and won’t be returning ever again! Why??? Went for a dance party that shifted to the bar next door. Both bartenders were cool but by the end of the 2nd bar tab I was kinda out of it. Looking at my receipt now, I’M ANGRY! Cool! Bar tab was $108 They add a 20% tip on top of that (which I didn’t notice) Then there’s a space for adding a tip (which I marked because I didn’t see the already added 20%) I marked 25% so that added ANOTHER $35 NOT COOL GUYS! I’m sure that bartender that night went home happy! Never again! 🤬

The vibe and decor were on point, with a retro feel and fun lighting that set high expectations for a classic disco night. However, to my disappointment, they didn’t actually play any disco music. Instead, it was mostly trending TikTok tracks and high-energy electronic songs that didn’t fit the mood. If you’re looking for a fun place to hang out and don’t mind the playlist, it’s worth a visit. But for true disco lovers, this might not be the spot!
