"If your accommodations are close to the Forte Dei Marmi, “a very glitzy beach town,” then “you must head to the chic [one-Michelin-starred] Ristorante Lorenzo.” Order the “fish incartoccio, which is cooked in parchment with olives, garlic and herbs.” He adds to not miss the wine list, where he often finds rare bottles that inspire his own lists back home." - Marguerite Imbert

Incredible experience! The mostly raw fish dishes showcased unparalleled freshness—each bite was delicate, pure, and bursting with flavor. I’ve rarely tasted seafood this fresh. The chefs’ dedication to quality and detail shines through in every plate. Truly unforgettable and a must-visit for any seafood lover.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Elegant, Iconic, Exceptional Lorenzo is a Forte dei Marmi classic. Impeccable seafood, flawless service, and a wine list curated with love. The crudo is a must, the pasta unforgettable, and the ambiance timeless. Pricey—but worth every euro. Michelin star well deserved.

It's a real pleasure every time I go there. The quality of the fish is extremely high, and the cuisine is simple but very tasty. Pasta is amazing , and especially "Spaghetti alla Versigliese" are so delicious that they are worth the journey. The place is owned by the legendary Lorenzo and his daughter Chiara now. A real must in Tuscany. The personnel is nice and welcoming.

Our dinner was indeed a very beautiful experience- we three (A Mexicana, an American and a German) with completely different tasts and expectations had a great time. We selected different dishes. All exceeded our high expectations, no matter if food, wine (Chianti Classico Riserva) or especially the perfect service. Terrific - Thank you, Gracias, Danke, Grazie!

A real fine dining experience in Forte dei Marmi. Very Friendly staff, probably the best wine sommelier I've ever met. And we loved the olive oil they served on the table and we found out the Chef mills his own olives, and they sold us three 1 liter bottles. A must when vacationing in this charming town.

Pity Lorenzo! 10 years ago it was a great restorant , 5 years ago it was ok, but now…. 1. The order have been taken in 20 minutes. A bit long , but ok. 2. The appetizers has been served in 45 minutes ( the last one) and it has been served not in the same time! In 15 minutes to one guest and in 45 minutes to another ! For this level of the restorant it is unacceptable. The food was ok 3. The risotto was not an Italian one , but porridge , made from rice. It was The worst one I have ever tried in Italy, and even in France. We just touched it and sent it back to chef. 4. The calamaretti have been boiled instead of baked and the potato gratain was undercooked, so you can feel the test of the fresh potatoes. 5. At the end of the dinner the maitre refuse to take out risotto from the bill and did it just after I asked to make a photo with their “great” chef and “great” risotto. It looks like it was my last visit to Lorenzo.

Yelp
The best Restaurant in the area. Excellent service, very friendly and the food is Superb. We tried the mayonnaise which was prepared in front of us, delicious! Hope we had more days so we could come back.

Yelp
Ristorante Lorenzo is quite legendary in Forte dei Marmi and also has one Michelin star. The ambiance was beautiful; high-end but not too stuffy. The clientele was predominantly Italian. The service was exceptional; very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was undeniably delicious: beautiful scallops and delicious tartare. The pasta we had was a little bit on the dry end, and the dessert was beautifully presented but missed the mark for me. In comparison to other Michelin starred restaurants, the dishes are still more traditional than inventive. Lorenzo, the owner, still shakes hands with every guest and adds to the overall experience. Expensive, but I would still say this restaurant is not to be missed when visiting Forte dei Marmi.

Yelp
When Lorenzo food they experience the true adventure of Italian. We were a few times in our visits to Lorenzo Forti dei Marmi. The food is incredible and it's one of my favorite restaurant in the world and I travel a lot and am very picky. If their love is of Italian cuisine must visit this restaurant. Lorenzo is a star were guild and you should treat him with respect. We were lucky of him to be invited into his sanctuary, where he keeps his dishes.

Yelp
Warning! Be careful when you eat here! Saturday June 14 I had a serious allergic reaction while having dinner at this restaurant. When I ordered the food I was very careful explaining to them the seriousness of my allergy. After the second course I had a severe allergic reaction and they needed to call for an ambulance and I had to be taken to the emergency hospital in Versilia. Despite this they do not want to acknowledge that I was ill - even though everyone in the restaurant could see it, nor do they want to pay for my expenses (hospital, taxi, dryclean). All of a sudden they pretend that they can not speak english and they refuse to take my calls. If you are allergic - or if you do think it is important that you can be sure of what you eat in a very expensive restaurant - and want to be treated with respect - I do not recommend Ristorante Lorenzo.
