Great setting to a lovely meal which was carefully curated and super flavourful. The waves accompanying the scrumptious meal were a real delight. Hard to book but we finally managed to get a table and it was well worth it. Thanks to the staff for the attentive service and to the chef for an amazing experience. Menu is not long but great selections. We should be back soon as the courgettes and the potatoes were cooked to perfection. Thank you

Ristorante Da Aurelio, all’interno della Posta Vecchia, un posto unico, in riva al mare, abbiamo trascorso il nostro primo anniversario cenando con una vista mozzafiato, piatti squisiti e personale di altissimo livello

Serata di compleanno, mai scelta fu così sbagliata. Location molto suggestiva ma purtroppo nulla di più. Prezzi oltre il ristorante stellato senza però un minimo di qualità. Ordiniamo un vino, terminato. Ordiniamo il secondo vino (prezzo di 4 volte il prezzo a scaffale) ci vinene detto xhe che è caldo e che deve essere messo in abbattitore almeno una decina di minuti. Per scusarsi del disservizio nessuno ci propone qualcosa nell' attesa. Siamo costretti ad ordinare due calici di spumante, la scelta è tra prosecco o champagne. Optiamo per il secondo. Uno dei due calici arriva completamente opaco, soprassediamo. Il costo dei due calici sarà di 50€. Ordiniamo un antipasto, due primi, e una bottiglia di vino anch'essa con prezzo più che triplicato. Sull'antipasto evito il commento. Uno spaghetto alle vongole 32€ ordinato senza prezzemolo, arrivato con il prezzemolo. Paccheri con gambero rosso e pepe rosa 34€ pubblicizzati in carta, arrivano dei paccheri al pomodoro con 6/8 gamberetti (2cm max) che ci assicurano essere gamberi rossi!!! terminiamo il vino, cancelliamo i secondi e ce ne andiamo. Ah... 7€ una bottiglia d'acqua. in allegato lo scontrino A meno che non siate turisti totalmente incompetenti di cucina state alla larga da questo posto. Giusto per ridere, cercate il prezzo del vino Trebbiano Riserva Marina Cvetic 2020. Li lo troverete, probabilmente caldo, a 240€. Sipario.

Più che una cena la definirei un’esperienza. Bellissimo cenare al tramonto sulla terrazza che affaccia sul mare. Cibo abbastanza buono con alcuni piatti però non all’altezza. Il servizio è stato ottimo finché il ristorante era semivuoto. Dopo ci sono stati alcuni errori che non sono comparabili con i prezzi proposti. Per esempio un lago di caffè sul piattino di servizio. Comunque nel complesso esperienza molto positiva .

Mi è piaciuto molto sia la location bellissima che il ristorante. Il cibo è ottimo, il servizio eccellente. Molto soddisfatta.inoltre a fine cena abbiamo potuto visitare il museo con i resti di un'antica villa imperiale Romana che si trova sotto l'edificio. Splendido!

Un compleanno da dimenticare. pessimo servizio personale pessimo addirittura litigando di fronte ai commensali con maleparole e imprecazioni. Torta per il compleanno ordinata con anticipo presentazione pessima ma soprattutto anche se di poco con differenza nel prezzo. Dopo aver fatto notare la differenza (dopo aver pagato) mi hanno rincorso con la differenza del.prezzo in contanti e su questo ultimo punto non commento. Forse dovrebbero rivedere il personale di sala. Presentazione dei piatti inesistente spacciata da gourmet . Vino messo al sole con tutta la glacet. aperitivi arrivati caldi abbiamo fatto notare il tutto e hanno detto in maniera impacciata a toglierli dal conto cosa non avvenuta.

The ambiance the setting and the food. Nothing is rushed. 3 of us ordered to share and the menu did not disappoint. Every bite was a delectable treat to the taste buds. We ordered the stuffed zucchini flowers, the fish, and the vegetable pasta that was out of this word. And the bread! Mamma Mia the bread. I'm gonna have to be shipped back home in cargo if this is what I can expect on the rest of my journey. Dessert was a classic tiramisu and a chocolate cake with hazelnut cream. I'm gonna say it was the sea air that gave me such a voracious appetite as I all but licked the plates clean. Thank you chef and staff for this amazing experience.

An excellent restaurant on the terrace of La Posta Vecchia overlooking the sea. The beautiful location is a perfect complement to the delicious food that The Cesar serves. The service is near perfect and the wine list is excellent as well. A romantic spot to spend an evening.

This place has all it needs to be five stars except one thing. The setting is absolutely gorgeous. This used to be a private residence of J Paul Getty. It is exquisite with a wonderful view of the sea. The service is very good. It was not excellent service but it was very good service. I had quite a few different plates and they were all good But just good. The stuffed zucchini blossoms were stuffed with cheese and were good but needed an extra touch of love to make them crispy, something that is necessary for this plate to taste the best. The octopus was good, it was tender but also lacked flavor. The steak was cooked perfectly but it was not a very good piece of meat. The buttered spaghetti with caviar was good but definitely not worth $60. The wine selection was good but not great. Overall it was way too expensive for the quality of food served.

Took a private car from Rome for a Sunday Lunch. Setting, food, service was all impeccable. Sorry to hear it closes for the season soon (NOV 3) but thank goodness it will reopen in March! Staff was excellent in their recommendations. They knew their clientele and made recommendations based on our experience and desires. They made what would have been a good experience great!! Do not hesitate to visit. If you are in Rome, it is worth the effort to hire a car to get you there. We know a great one. Enjoy and relax sitting next to the Mediterranean with wonderful food and service!

Splendid location, attentive service, very romantic. We had both lunch and dinner here recently. Overall it certainly is a fine restaurant. Extremely expensive. The chefs seem to be reaching for magical recipes that are extremely complex. I would be happy with some plain pasta with a lemon butter sauce, but from the menu we had a special homemade wheat pasta with duck sauce and it was fine, but I don't think it was worth the price. Nice wine list. Good spot for a wedding, an affair, an anniversary. Bring your platinum credit card.
