Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

I love Rita’s and finally got to try this Austin location. Opted for my usual mango ice and vanilla custard and it hit the spot. Staff was friendly and was wiling to let us sample a couple new flavors we hadn’t tried before. We visited late night and there wasn’t any crowd which was great for quick service. Wish there was space for some seating though. Would definitely visit again another time.

We LOVED Rita’s in NC and in Galveston! So excited there is a spot in Round Rock! Giselle was awesome and so friendly. We enjoyed our root beer / vanilla gelati, cotton candy / vanilla gelati and the chocoholic custard! ❤️ only thing that would make it better is some tables and chairs (no place to sit and enjoy) … but otherwise clean and amazing! ❤️

This is a nice treat that is missed from the east coast. If you need a nice refreshing treat on a hot day this is the place to be. Can’t wait unit they have Swedish fish water ice available. You have to give it a try!

So excited Round Rock has a Rita’s. Went today and met the owners who are from Pennsylvania same as me! Super nice sweet people! If you haven’t tried it yet you don’t know what you’re missing. There are so many more choices than I am used to but got the reg water ice(always mango)with the vanilla custard….yummm Practicing self control is going to be really hard with them only 5 mins away lol

This reminds me of shaved ice not scooped out Italian Ice that you would get from an ice cream parlor. Not for me but the mango flavor was delicious.

Have been waiting for the opening of one of my favorite places in PA to open local to me! Thank you Sal for your excellent customer service and understanding me when I was asking for a Misto (now known as Gelati Blender)! Extremely excited to be able to get Rita's so close to home!

Stopped here while on vacation to have a treat on a hot summers day and it was amazing! Gelati definitely won me over. Place was very clean and well kept. I also appreciated how friendly the staff were as well! Definitely will be going back to this location the next time I’m in Texas!

Instagram finally convinced me to try this place for the first time in person! Wow, this is the best snow cone type texture I’ve ever had! Flavors are great, and the guy at the cash register was really cool and professional and gave some great recommendations! Mango is my absolute favorite! Highly recommend this location!

Ritas is an east coast staple. I am so happy to find one in the Austin area that I could actually cry. There's nothing I love more than a cherry gelati and now I don't have to head all the way back to Philly to get my Rita's fix and show my little Texans Italian ice. Please never leave!!!

Stumbled up in this place while picking up dinner. This is a order and go type of place, nowhere to sit & mingle while enjoying your frozen treats. lots of options to choose from. I went for the sugar free italian ice- it was good - similar to a snow cone, w a smooth texture , reminded me of the pink flavor ice pops I ate as a kid. we also tried the sour patch kid and enjoyed that one as well. staff wasn't too friendly but since the interactions are short I wouldn't mind going back to try other options on the menu.

Neat format in this new little dessert place with the recessed counter. First time there, tried the five layer with piña colada and mango ices. Service was quick and they answered our newbie questions graciously. Custard was dense and tasty, I'd say it's better than Andy's. The combination of ices and custard was cool. It loses a star for being on the pricey side, which will keep us away from any real frequency. Gotta be honest: If I'm spending that kind of money on a frozen dessert, I'm going to Ululanis over on 79 and Redbud for legit Maui shave ice.

Drove by this place while picking up food nearby and decided to give this spot a try. The location was spotless and the employees were friendly. There wasn't much of a line and the wait time was short. The prices were pretty typical for the area. I tried a custard out and it was okay, nothing special about it, but nothing to complain about either. I think I'll stick to my normal spot for custard's moving forward. I will come back again to try one of their famous Rita's next time.

I have enjoyed Rita's in Palm Beach Florida for many years!!! Now I have been living in Texas and missed the amazing franchise. Last Saturday my wife and I went to newly opened Rita's. My wife had watermelon flavored Italian ice and I had custard waffle cone ice cream. The very best! Location is very central, located in round rock, the atmosphere is very nice and pleasant. The service is excellent, the staff is professional. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking to have good quality Italian ice and ice cream!!

Tasteless and very expensive. Worker could care less about serving customers. Go to Andy's.

Great spot for a cool sweet treat to escape the heat. The blends of ice and custard are a great combo.
