Visited this place upon recommendation from a fellow traveller. I got a chocolate ice cream in a cup. It was yummy. I loved the super thick, creamy texture with cocoa nibs in it. It was mildly sweet and you could really taste the cocoa in it. It was so good that I returned the next day to try the ‘Ritacao’ smoothie - with red berries and cocoa. I enjoyed both but the ice cream was definitely a winner for me! Thank you for making such delicious ice cream. I will be returning when I visit Oaxaca again!

The most delicious chocolate ice cream I've ever had 🤎 I love chocolate, but I've never been a huge fan of chocolate flavored ice cream. Turns out I just had never had a good one! It came served on the cutest cup, but you can also get a cone. It's a very deep chocolate flavor that's not overly sweet, and the cocoa nibs inside provide a nice crunch. Truly loved it. Bought some chocolate discs for making chocolate drinks at home and a bar with pataxtle pieces. Can't wait to try them!

I've had great chocolate ice cream in establishments of great repute around the world. Rito has the best chocolate ice cream I've ever had. It has a creamy texture that becomes velvety as it melts. The flavor is rich without becoming overpowering. The sweetness is just right. The Kakaw drink of pure cacao is also a highlight.

I don't even like chocolate ice cream usually, and my boyfriend and I had to force ourselves not to go get one every day we were in Oaxaca. The chocolate flavor is full and the cocoa nibs add a nice crunch. Their hot chocolate is nice too, but if you have to pick one or the other, ice cream is the way to go! You can also buy pucks of their chocolate to make hot chocolate at home, and bars. 😊

I bought an iced chocolate and a portion of chocolate ice-cream. The seller, like every good salesman, praised his products and said they're the best in Mexico, which, of course, I took with a grain of salt. The drink was nothing to write home about but that ice-cream was probably the best chocolate ice-cream I had in my life - rich in flavour and not overly sweet. The addition of cacao nibs creates a nice sensation to otherwise boring texture. Highly recommended.

Before I begin this review, let me assure you that I am a chocolate ice cream fanatic. I have been to some of the ‘best’ gelaterias around the world and let me tell you this is the BEST I have ever had. Do yourself a favour and try this chocolate ice cream. My boyfriend and I have been thinking about it everyday for 3 months … 🤤🤤

Utterly Sublime. This chocolate could create world peace. After eating Rito chocolate it will be difficult to eat any other. From the ice cream with cacao nibs to the chocolate con fresas, to the cardomomo everything is astonishing!
