RIVA, Konstanz — elegant setting, but not quite worth the hype
The restaurant is beautifully located right on the lake — serene, stylish, and perfect for a relaxed evening.
But the food? A mixed experience.
🌮 Taco with salmon – two tiny tortillas, lovely taste, but the size barely counts as a starter.
🐟 Ceviche – fresh, visually appealing, but flavor-wise… quite ordinary.
🍝 Linguine with lobster – pasta was perfectly al dente, made from quality durum wheat. The lobster itself was beautifully cooked and actually saved the dish, as the sauce lacked depth.
🍮 Crème brûlée – served with strawberries, biscuit, and sorbet. Nicely presented but nothing memorable.
💶 Final bill: €197 for two.
❗ The biggest issue: a real disconnect between portion size, taste, and the price. Visually refined, yes — but overall, overpriced for what it delivers.
✅ Worth a visit once for the view and vibe — but not a place I’d rush back to.
