Pizza was good, much better the chain stores. Good quality ingredients. It’s a fairly thin crust, similar to NY style. They do have one Detroit style pizza on the menu, but we didn’t order that. They use a quality pepperoni and sausage, great flavor and not too grease. Only complaint is the pie was a bit soggy in the middle. But I would come here again. They have wine and beer on the menu too, both canned and draft beer. It’s a casual place to eat good pie and have a beer or two.

Last night we were craving pizza and wanted to try something new... after doing some online detective work I stumbled upon this gem. It had just the right combo of good reviews and owner clapbacks to intrigue me. Im glad we stopped by. The staff was super friendly and the fix came out within a reasonable time frame and was bangin. We had the Korean wings and decided to splurge on two deep dish pizzas 🍕 😋 👌 delightful!

We ordered two pizzas and two orders of the mac and cheese bites. The mac and cheese bites were absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, we have no idea what happened with the pizza. It was absolutely the worst Pizza we have had to date here in the Savannah area. We were really surprised, because we have had pizza from here before and it was really good! This time around it reminded me of high school cafeteria pizza. It was really that bad. Hopefully, it was just a bad night for them, and it won't be this way moving forward. Every business has bad days.

I have been trying to get to this place for months. They do not disappoint. I want to give a shout out to the customer service. I placed a phone order and the lady was patient, kind, and helpful when I asked about the pizza. Great pizza-- very different flavors and names which we loved. Bangkok Pizza was recommended and was delish. The order was expedited before the recommended time. The Cheesecake was AMAZING 👏. I want a whole one. 😋 This is a Great Small Business that enjoy their community and what they do. Keep it up! 💯% pleasant experience start to finish.

We've been a fan of Riverboat for years, but now they truly have my heart. I was born and raised on the east side of Detroit, and I know a Detroit style pizza when I see one. The pans are newly seasoned so I know the pizzas are gonna get even better... But they've knocked it out of the park. It wouldn't surprise me if this ends up being the best pizza in Savannah.... This is gonna be tough to beat. It's like God gifted me the pizza I know and love, right at my corner. Edit: I'd like to add a couple other supreme pizzas I've ordered recently. Still 10/10.

Wow… really good pizza.. ordered 4 large and the flavors were great… wife preferred the ham and pineapple… they deserved a 4-5 star but my last request was that all 4 pizzas had extra sauce… each were dry and little sauce… Argh!

Riverboat Pizza is a great local pizza restaurant. Their sauce is excellent and the crust is perfect. I bring my own cheese because I'm vegan and they happily make me a veggie pizza. They are so accommodating and make me feel like I'm family. Highly recommend them.

We were looking for pizza in town and didn’t feel like driving downtown Savannah so we stopped here for dinner. The pizza was good, but I consider it average (3 stars is average). The waitress was really nice and attentive. The restaurant itself was very basic. I certainly go there again for the pizza and would recommend it to others.

Based on multiple positive recommendations on Yelp we tried Riverboat Pizza off Hwy 17 outside of Richmond Hill today. We were looking to expand our options beyond Ricciardi's- a place we like. Riverboat Pizza is dark inside and the ac system was struggling to keep up with one of the hottest days so far this summer. We were dine- in customers and ordered the 14" #12 Supreme pizza. In a word, what we got was very average pizza with tasteless toppings and sauce. The base tasted like a typical frozen pizza. We had high hopes - oh well. Not likely we'll be back. The Server was friendly and pleasant.

Best pizza in the area . Tonight unfortunately service not up to par. Bar service was fantastic. Ambiance average due to a poker tourney but no problem w that. Owner supercool guy that I had met previously.

Response to my review says it all. The no care attitude of the owner and " hope you find something better " is the best reason not to support this business. Go somewhere where they care for their customers as this place clearly doesn't. Tell s you why the intermittent hours and the dilapidated decor exists. Many better options around!

This is a hidden gem with delicious gourmet pizza selections. I'm from Northern NJ and can honestly say I was impressed at first bite! A must try!

Come here many times, always loved their pizza. Got this carryout with a super weird missing slice, called to ask about this piece clearly missing from my pizza. Like legit just asking, would've accepted any explanation. Instead of offering any explanation or I was immediately cursed out and told not to come back. "Send me a picture." I did. Was told "it's just a gap from when we sliced it," but with way more expletives. Anyway, check your carry out pizzas before you go. The man who was the manager at this location will just curse you out if you have any problems.

Have been here multiple times for eat in as well as take out. My entire family of picky eaters enjoy their pizza. We love that we can get individual pies as well as large pies. The young ladies that work the front are very friendly and the service is great. Very relaxing atmosphere even though they always seem to be busy. Always call before going cause their hours are kind strange.

Food was very good the young man waiting on our party was especially good. Not only was he very good with his service he was very funny

we don't live too far from here, so we decided to give it a shot for lunch the other day while we were out running errands. Immediately upon walking in, it was obvious they were short staffed and only had one person working. She was very transparent and let us know she was there by herself and to just come let her know at the bar when we were ready to order. We chose to sit outside, mostly because it was busy inside & a pretty day. Shortly I went back in, placed our order and the remainder of our experience she took care of us. She was so nice & did a wonderful job. Our food was great, we both had pizza and an order of mozzarella sticks. All of it was perfect & came out quick. I will say, I'm not sure if they're in the middle of renovating the outside area or not but it definitely needs a little makeover, it has such good potential to be the cutest little outdoor spot!

Had a to go order pizza very tasty decent price. Fast service. Wouldn't mind trying to sit down in the restaurant next time we go.

I really do think riverboat makes the best pizza in coastal Ga. The different unique pizzas that are offered here gives ample opportunity to explore. Who would guess a Pad Thai pizza could be delicious aka the Bangkok nights pizza. I haven't tried a single pizza yet here that wasn't delicious. However, the best variety I think are the pizzas with the creamy garlic sauce they are one of a kind. And you should try their homemade cheesecake it's otherworldly. You will not regret coming to riverboat pizza.

We came here for lunch today and the pizza was very good and hot and service was great. Can't ask for much more than that! Nice outdoor eating area too.

Great food. Wonderful service. I love to eat local when I travel and travel is all I do. Pizza was wonderful. We ordered 2 individual pizzas. Everything was wonderful. I recommend you give this place a chance.

My wife loves their pizza. A bit pricey for my tastes. I'd rather stay home and make my own.

I'd always noticed this establishment but never had the opportunity to go in. COVID restrictions prevented my husband and I from dining in so we ordered take out. The hostess was very courteous over the phone and helpful. We decided to get the Commodore because we wanted to try something different. It didn't disappoint. We were very satisfied. We also ordered the Oreo cheesecake that they were most famous for and it was good. Not as extraordinary as I thought it would be and a bit pricey but it was OK. If you want a different style of Pizza, it's an excellent option. My only complaint would be the business hours that are rather short but I'm hoping that maybe this will change as the businesses return to a sense of normalcy after the pandemic.

Staff was nice and food was quick and fresh. Bathroom doesn't have paper towels. And while I can see the waste aspect, I really just don't like touching a door know with clean hands. That's pretty common so not necessarily a ding, just wanted to mention it. Overall experience was as expected. Great food and service!

Got take out tonight. Pizza on a Friday, perfect! We got a salad, garlic knots and a pizza. It was ready in about 35 minutes. No issues!

Excellent thin crust pizza. Fresh toppings and quality preparation. None of that sloppy thrown together garbage the chains serve!

Delicious pizza, welcoming servers, reasonably priced menu. We started our dinner with their Bread Sticks. I loved the way they twisted the dough, and topped it with a gracious amount of cheese. Yum! Next, we ordered a House and Caesar salad. The salad greens were fresh and the toppings on the house salad included diced ripe tomatoes, slivers of red onion and black olives. If you're a blue cheese lover, you'll thoroughly enjoy their chunky, blue cheese loaded dressing! Fabulous! They have quite a few creative pizza choices on their menu but on this evening we had their Supreme. It was straight forward in their toppings and everything a supreme pizza should be. Personally, I wish it had been baked a bit longer. They don't have desserts on their menu but do have daily offerings that are made in house. We ordered a piece of their Vanilla Lavender and Oreo Cheesecake: creamy, flavorful and fantastic! Last, they have a lovely, welcoming, twinkle light lit, spacious outdoor patio for dining. We sat near the order counter, and I was amazed at how the server greeted the majority of incoming customers by name. They have bottled and tap beer and wine offerings. I look forward to returning and trying another variety of pizza!

Phenomenal pizza. Cooked ro perfection. Toppings were just right. Prompt service and pickup was a breeze. Honestly some of the best pizza I've ever had and I'm a pizza lover. We ordered large with pepperoni, beef, and onions. Clean restaurant

Charm as soon as you walk in. Greeted right away with a clean table and menus. Our table was served by Sanders, an incredibly attentive young man with a great attitude and jovial personality. Pizza was incredibly flavorful. You will need every napkin they give you. I personally had the River Monster. Never had smoked sausage on a pizza before and now I can't imagine it without! Fair priced and plentiful toppings!

Great pizza joint! To me, most places I go, pizza is pizza. There has been rarely few places that I go that are memorable for their pizza but riverboat definitely made a memory for me. We started with the garlic cheese sticks and they were pretty tasty! They're served with a marinara dipping sauce that wasn't personally my favorite but you can't not dip it anyways lol. We decided to do an 18" half and half. One half Hawaiian, one half Bangkok nights. The Hawaiian was your typical ham, bacon, onions, and pineapple, except we added sausage for a 2 dollar upcharge. And it was good! Not great but definitely enjoyable and tasty! What did me in was the bangkok nights half. It was literally a Pad Thai pizza! Instead of typical marinara they used peanut sauce which gave it a rich, sweet flavor that set it apart from the pizza game. Toppings included onions, cilantro and chicken. It was seriously killer. I was skeptical about ordering it bc it lowkey sounds funky to me but the pics I saw from fellow yelpers looked great so I had to try it and glad I did! Not a pizza you can just go and get anywhere and that is what sets it apart for me!! But not only that pizza. They have many other specialty pizzas all with a unique style and different unique ingredients! That's a game changer and they seemed to have lock that down. The only thing that I could say for them to improve on is the timeliness of the service. Very kind and helpful servers, just seemed a little slower than norm but hey, they could've just been short this night. All in all tho great place and they will def be seeing me again!

Average pizza at best. Nothing special here. There are better choices at far better prices. Tastes like most national chain pizzas.

While this place looks nice on the outside. When you walk in that is a different story. The floor is in need of repair. When u walk on it u can feel it coming up. I do not know if the lady that greeted us is a manager or just a waitress but she was rude not only to us but other customers that came in after us. I understand that they were busy but at least treat your guest like you want them to be there. The male waiter was great he was doing everything he could to keep up with orders and refills the best that he could. It took forever for them to even get our order and then when it actually arrived the pizza was cooked unevenly and the bottom was burnt. I could not wait to try this place since it was close to my home just to be disappointed. I like to give places second chances but I won't be doing that here due to the rudeness of lady that was there. So disappointed

Given that it was National Pizza Day on Saturday, my fam and I set out to check out a new pizza joint. My husband, being the Head of All Matters Pizza in our household, chose the Riverboat Pizza based on reviews and proximity. They are off of Ogeechee Road and located where it is considered Georgetown? Depending on which direction you are coming from, the turn is just before or after the shopping area with the DD in it. Turn in and it is tucked in another shopping area in the back that you cannot see from 17. Parking - Center parking lot. What we ate/drank - Since my kids were hangry, and frankly so was I, we ordered the Mozzarella sticks to start. The waitress said they were the fastest. Sold! They came out fast as promised. They had a good crust and the marinara dipping sauce paired nicely. We ordered an 18", half and half of their Riverboat Monster (Italian sausage, Salami, Smoked Sausage, Bacon and Pepp) and Margherita (chopped tomatoes, basil ribbons and cheese). The dough crust was a uniform, thin crust throughout. There is no bigger crust around the edges. I personally like the crusts that get the big charred air bubbles of deliciousness, but I thought the toppings were great and I thought the tomato sauce was great too. Not too sweet and well seasoned. My husband also ordered one of their beers on tap, started with a G... they have the poster on the wall. He seemed to like it enough to get 2 glasses... or maybe just reeeeally thirsty? Lol, just kidding! Vibe - It's got the Mom and Pop feel which was unexpected considering the facade of the building looks new and big. There are some palm trees on either side of the door and the they've also placed a mirror like film on the glass or maybe it's the type of glass, to reflect the light, but when I walked in, I was surprised to see how not new it was and how small the space is even with the high ceilings. The inside is also a little darker (probably because of the reflective effect). There are about 5 booth seats that can seat 3 comfortably on each side and a handful of tables. Some of the booth seats have seen better days. They have a surprisingly large patio, which is probably twice as large as their indoor space. They also have some TVs, which probably makes this a great hang out for games and sports events. Service - SUPERB! This lady was sweet as a peach! She handled the nearly full restaurant (including a table of young boys AND a couple of tables on the patio) like a CHAMP! She was just so genuine and took the time to welcome people, make conversation and checking up on everyone. Also, the bonus is, I overheard her convo with clients who were leaving. The way she talked about the owners, how "the pizzas are great, but they are even better people". That just tells you what kind of person she is. Are you Awwwing? I bet you are, because I was. Great little pizza spot and it seems like they have a good variety of beer on tap and a wine list. I read some of the reviews and it seems like next time, I will have to save some room for dessert because the owner makes the cheesecakes. I've seen some funky flavors like Lavender, so I shall be back because they had me had cheese and cake!

Much better at home after putting on the pizza stone. Recommend they start cooking the pizzas longer. Dough fell apart and couldn't hold the amount of cheese for dine in.

Still somewhat new to the area and have been searching for a good pizza. I let my husband pick the pizza place for when we watch football and I am SO GLAD let him choose cause the food was delicious. Definitely ordering again.

Pretty good place for a sit-down pizza place. Also great location, not too deep in Savannah. Loved the outdoor patio, but was way too hot for outdoor dining, so we ate inside. Might have been a bit pricey for pizza, but food was great. We had salad, the delicious garlic knots and huge pizza. Servers were great and attentive. Bench seating was very comfy! Bathroom was nice and clean. Will def return!

Great great pizza. Definitely up there with the other big names like mellow mushroom and Vinnies in my opinion. Service is very kind and friendly. Food didn't take long at all either, was piping hot when we got it. They have 8 tables inside and few more outside as well. Plenty of appetizers and different pizza choices, along with salad and calzones. Also draft beer to go along with your pizza while you watch football lol. Look forward to my next trip to this little hole in the wall.

Spectacular service! Sarah really enjoys her job and it shows. On to the food! Ordered a half farmers market and half Hawaiian pizza. They are generous with the toppings and the crust was delicious! Now you have to hear what's better than the pizza, the lavender cheesecake! OMG! They have homemade rotating cheesecakes for dessert but I'm so glad I got to try the lavender!

Decent New York style thin crust pizza for the area. It's inconveniently closed a few days a week though.

Garlic knots are absolute fire. Can't make them any better. Both the pizzas that we ordered were amazing. I accidentally on purpose ate my wife's leftover slices the next day

I am from the north and the pizza just doesn't make the grade. Very limited subs and other choices.

Their pizza is not that good. It's an overrated local place that people eat at to support local business. Any review over 2 stars is a joke.

Just order an afrom this place . It was awful worse pizza I have ever had the crust was soggy and the pepperoni was not cooked. We also ordered wings spicy no taste. If I could dispute the charges on my CC I would nasty do not eat here. It was a take order. Warning ...not done . We were there when the pizza came out of the oven. Please do not try and make excuses. The reason we didn't bring back the pizza and wings is because we threw it away. It was not worth going back for another. Reason for one review is because I never post reviews. But felt this place warranted a review to warn others. It real was bad food. Take this and improve on it.

Great food, Great Pizza, and Great Beer list! In the past I've had the PB&J wings and the Bangkok Nights Pizza and the Pizza was a perfect combination of chewy and crunchy. Today I had the Spicy Garlic Wings and they were the best version of that flavor I've had blowing away some of the wing specialty restaurants in the area. My co-worker got a calzone and it was literally large enough for three meals for a grown man for $14. This little hidden spot is worth seeking out.

Riverboat Pizza is my favorite pizza place in Savannah. They're pizza is consistently delicious and their service is phenomenal. We always have a challenging time deciding which of their specialty pizzas we want to eat when we go. This time we went with the Pesto Manifesto, a pesto based pizza with chicken, mushrooms, bacon, artichokes, and green onion, and the River Monster, a tomato based pizza with pepperoni, salami, sausage, bacon, and smoked sausage. The best thing about Riverboat is that for a small up charge you can get half and half with any type of pizzas, even if they have different sauces, and the toppings don't get mixed. Both types of pizzas were incredible. The sauces tasted homemade and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. The staff is always pleasant and welcoming. We love coming here.

When we first moved to Savannah almost 4 years ago we were hoping to find a pizza place that had a family friendly atmosphere. We are grateful to have found Riverboat Pizza! The pizza and customer service is amazing! For the quantity and quality of the pizza you get, it is priced very reasonably. When family visit from out of town, we almost always take them here and they also rave about the pizza and have a hard time deciding which pizza to get (we normally each do a personal sized pizza). If you save room for dessert, their cheesecake is delicious. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a nice atmosphere, clean restaurant, excellent pizza and customer service at affordable prices!

Great pizza shoppe. Had a medium pepperoni pie. Crust was perfectly cooked, good amount of toppings and great flavor. New York style which I love. Didn't have a beer but saw that they have a good selection on draught. Good, friendly and attentive service. Will definitely be back.

Good pizza always hot. Service is good and consistent. Salads are also pretty good. It's not the best pizza but really consistent and a much better option than the franchise's in our opinion.

My go to place for pizza near my house. The owners are so nice and work extremely hard. They give a military discount, which is always appreciated. They have two of my favorite pizzas- the master splinter (give me ALL of the pesto) and Bangkok nights (peanut sauce, shut the front door). They always have some great craft beer options to pair with your pie. If you don't live near here, it is worth the drive!

This place is the real deal. Food made from scratch; great beers on tap. As a NY transplant to Savannah, this is my go-to pizza place. Love it, and love the staff!

Love the cheesecake. My only gripe is they never seem to be open when I go to order on DoorDash.

This family run busy is doing a good job serving up some delicious pies. The garlic knots are awesome. They have a small, but good craft beer selection. The cheesecake is awesome.
