We ordered the chicken makhani, methi malai chicken, naan and vegetable samosas - and it was all 10/10 ✨ would definitely order this again

So good! I think they brought down the spice level for me because this restaurant isn’t as spicy as the other Indian restaurants I’ve been to. I was kind of relieved by that, haha. I love Indian food but the spicyness gets me sometimes. So worth it though! I had the chicken achari and it was delicious. I want to go again to try their other dishes, especially their samosas!

Always purchase my usual here. Chicken Makhani meal and Garlic Naan. They never disappoint! Food is delicious and the staff is always friendly and kind, whether pick up or delivery.

We ordered on doordash and tried to look for an indian spot with with great reviews. We found this place to order but we’re disappointed we spent money on how little we received. We ordered shrimp curry for $18, chicken biryani for $16-$17 and a few other things like vegetable samosa, paratha, sodas etc. The biryani was too spicy to finish, samosa tasted kinda old and the shrimp curry was such a small amount. Wasnt worth the order and we’re disappointed. We know dining in is probably a better experience but we live far and hoped ordering would be just as fair. Disappointing

Went there on Friday and it was an amazing experience. Service was fast, everyone was kind and helpful. Food was amazing, delicious and fresh. Samosas are to die for. Korma chicken and Tika masala were very flavorful. I highly recommend this place.

Incredible! No more trips to queens for Indian! Marble hill has terrible take out and had no good Indian, as both the one in Riverdale and inwood are not great, so I was skeptically excited when I saw this little spot on my drive home. Tried it today and it 100% delivered! Service was great, location was clean, food was amazing! I got vegetable samosa, malai kofta, chicken tikka masala (had to get a safe choice just in case) and garlic naan. I ordered take out and the moment I walked in I was taken back by the smells coming from the kitchen. The moment I saw my garlic naan had cilantro I knew I hit the jackpot, as most Indian restaurants don’t do this. And my malai was perfection. The rice pudding was also so delicious! Sorry for the terrible picture but I couldn’t wait any longer to dig in. Now I just need to try the rest of the menu! I am so ecstatic about this addition to the neighborhood!

I went for dine in this restaurant and seriously they are very bad at hospitality. I honestly loved the food but they need to hire friendly servers.Especially the old lady is very bad at serving food ,she treated me like as if she is feeding me for free.

Yelp
Needed some takeout to bring to a friend who was convalescing, and I found this place online. I decided to give it a try. I picked up lentil soup, a couple of curries and some papadam and everything was delicious. Best of all, the servers were extremely nice. I don't live in the area, but will definitely go back whenever I'm nearby.

Yelp
Lunch time in the Bronx calls for a side of garlic Naan $3.99 that I was lured into the attraction by a workplace colleague. The Naan are not a side but gargantuan size and the garlic is abundant and it was served piping hot wrapped in foil. I wish the garlic was a garlic buttery flavor because it really tasted very bland. Customer service is mediocre. Seating is available as it fends a illusion of a sit down restaurant, but without waiters. Business cards and takeout menus are available for grabs.

Yelp
The food was absolutely amazing, the paneer tikka was some of the best I ever had. The prices are a little insane especially for naan, but that's ok, I just can't order as much as I would like. If it was a little cheaper I would order twice a week, but I can only order twice a month. I didn't order a lot and with tip from delivery for one person was 60 dollars and I didn't even order a lot. The problem is is the sauces are amazing and they cost a lot to cause it's homemade. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the pricing

Yelp
I have not purchased much from here, but from what I did receive, I'm intrigued to make return visits. I got some basmati rice and on my second visit I purchased the garlic chili naan. I loved it. I felt the customer service was great, it has a really nice decor inside the restaurant. The only reason I haven't really purchased anything as far as the lunch menu is because I m still waiting for this.place to get a restaurant grade. After all, I can't really see the kitchen or what goes on in the kitchen. They have a curtain that covers that area. So I just brought the rice because someone recommended that I try it myself because they had brought some as well. So now I'm just waiting. I will give an updated review when I see what grade they get. Until then Happy Yelping!

Yelp
The food here is good. It's not authentic in that it lacks the spice, the heat and is too sweet. But for people who don't eat Indian much, they would probably like it.

Yelp
Ordered a garlic naan and chicken tikka masala for delivery. Food was tasty and hot. Will order again!

Juan D.

Yelp
The server Samina was lovely, it was my partners first time having Indian and he loved the chicken masala and the garlic naan he had two orders of it jajaj

Yelp
Good, authentic, tasty food. Yellow Dal, Garlic Naan were excellent. Authentic Indian food is missing in Riverdale with a lot of wannabes serving awful tasting, so called Indian food.

Dar K.

Yelp
Only ordered once, the Tikka masala but it was good. Tasty & not spicy. Decent portion.

Yelp
Riverdale Indian Grill was delicious. They were easy to talk to, order from and came in a reasonable amount of time. I'm not generally picky with most food, I am however with Indian food because the spice balance has to be just right. This was delicious, would have given them 4.5 stars if I was able to. I highly recommend (chef's kiss)

Yelp
The food here is very very delicious. The restaurant is bright, immaculately clean and the service is top notch. The take-out containers are of great quality as well. I will definitely continue to eat from Riverdale Indian Grill.

Yelp
The best authentic Indian food. Period. I'm so glad we have this gem in our neighborhood! I enjoyed all the fresh herbs and spices. I can't wait to try other dishes! (I did a take out for garlic naan, samosas, paneer tikka masala, chicken biryani this time. But I forgot to take photos because they smelled so amazing!)
