"Come for the views but stay for the food at this beautiful hotel restaurant. Riverside is Hood River’s only dining option directly on the water, with an expansive deck nestled next to the Columbia River. Executive chef Mark DeResta makes French toast with local blueberries and brioche from White Salmon Baking Co. across the river, transitioning to house-made pastas or Columbia River salmon during dinner service. You’ll also find an extensive bottle list highlighting wines from the Columbia River Gorge." - Zoe Baillargeon, Molly Allen

We had dinner here last night during our stay at the hotel, the food was divine. We started at the bar with a well mixed Old Fashioned and Manhattan. For dinner in the main room, we had the mussels appetizer, cooked with white wine, olives and peppers, delicious bread on the side. For our main courses, we had the Braised Lamb Gnocchi and Chicken Scallopine! Gnocchi was cooked perfectly, melted on the first bite, the lamb was tender, flavorful, delicious. The chicken was juicy, perfectly cooked, with shitake mushrooms, lemon and basil. The saffron risotto was also spot on, perfect compliment to the dish. We paired this with an amazingly delicious Blanco wine from local Analemma Winery. Finally, we opted for their vegan chocolate cheesecake dessert! Gotta say, this restaurant has great atmosphere, and our server was very attentive. We had a wonderful dining experience, recommend you do yourself a favor and stop in, you won't be disappointed🤘🍽💓

Excellent food at a good price. The portions were quite ample especially the kids' Fish and Chips. I was especially pleased with the steak salad, it was practically two meals in one. The wait staff were attentive with a few exceptions. They certainly exceeded my expectations for Gen Z workers. (Sorry Zoomers, but where's the burn, there's fire, and I'm Lit). I'm looking forward to our next Hood River adventure so we can stop by for some more tasty food!

We had a very nice breakfast here as a family before checking out. The kids' menu items were especially good so my older kids got two each: granola yogurt bowl and the pancakes. My chorizo on brioche was amazing. We even ended with a slice of carrot cake and were glad we did. We were at a busy spot close to the entrance to the kitchen but still had a nice view of the river. It was busy at prime breakfast time and I had to flag down the server for coffee refills but we didn't wait too long for our food and had very good service other than that.

We had a special occasion and were so lucky to find this restaurant! Incredible views, beautifully done, high quality food, a lot of non alcoholic beverages and gluten free option in the menu! Friends stuff! Highly recommend!

Google
Ate here with family. We sat outside on the deck. The food was good, the atmosphere outside enjoying the sun and warmth was very nice. The staff were helpful and nice. The drinks were good as well. All in all a good restaurant. The prices for this place are slightly expensive as this establishment is a bit higher quality. I’d come back here if I’m in this part of Oregon. I’d recommend coming here and enjoying yourself.

Google
This restaurant exceeded all expectations! The high-end food was an absolute masterpiece, with every dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The service was impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who made the experience seamless and enjoyable. What truly sets this place apart is the breathtaking view—it’s right on the water, offering stunning scenery that perfectly complements the luxurious atmosphere. Whether for a romantic evening or a special celebration, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

We were staying at the Best Western and this restaurant is part of the Hotel, it was our twin boys 9th birthday and this was a good close option. The restaurant itself is somewhat dated but the service and food make up for that, our hostess seated us at a table by the window which was perfect and great view of the Columbia River. Our server Kristine was very personable and helpful, she gave us some opinions on the food and was happy with what we had. They bring fresh sliced French breach with balsamic and a delicious olive oil for dipping, we also had the Calamari appetizer which was delicious, even our kids liked it. My wife and I had wine, I had the Pinot Noir and my wife had the sparkling Rose. Our daughter ordered the penne pasta with chicken and sausage, I ordered the Cioppino, my wife the fish & chips and our boys had a hamburger and grilled cheese. The food was definitely hot and large portions, my cioppino was definitely delicious, done a little different than I was used too, but extremely flavorful, my wife’s fish and chips were giant and delicious, our daughter liked her pasta. Our boys food was large enough for adults, everything was delicious and service was excellent. Nice place and great views of the river. We also had desserts the chocolate mousse, lemon cheese cake and the s’mores. Prices are a little steep, but if you are staying at the Hotel they give you discount coupons. Great place if you want dinner with a view and good service.

We had breakfast here last Saturday. I had the breakfast sandwich ($16) which was pretty good. The leafy greens were very tender and I liked how the dressing had a subtle flavor. I don't like it when it's too sweet. My partner ordered the chorizo that was very delicious. I should have ordered that. The atmosphere was great but I spotted a few spider webs on the ceiling. Overall, it was a good experience and I'd come back for lunch or dinner next time.

Yelp
We had family visiting last November so we took them to Hood River and stopped by this spot for lunch. The best thing we ordered was the steak sandwich, literally so delicious. The clam chowder was the next best, super loaded with seafood and potato. The chicken pasta was good, slightly on the heavy side. The least favorite item was the Cioppiano, seafood was good, but overall was just ok, not sure if we will get again. Views were nice from this restaurant. Would be great to come during the spring! Service was a bit slow to start as we waited ~15 mins before our server came to us. This spot is located in a hotel so there was plenty of parking.

Yelp
We came in the early evening to check out the view and enjoy some drinks and food. We were greeted by Rue and unfortunately where treated poorly. From the moment we walked in to a half empty restaurant she didn't want to sit us by a window with a view much less let us sit outside to enjoy the beautiful view. I was extremely confused because there was a party outside with drink, silverware, food and right by them was an empty table. When I pointed it out she stated it was taken then said we wouldn't fit. When I said we would fit she changed her answer once again and said we could only sit there if we got our food to go. When I said that was fine she took all of our menus and went inside. We took a seat and I kinda sat there in disbelief thinking why is this other party sitting here with drinks and their dinner. I was about to just walk out but my son said let's just try it out. I'm thankful for the experience because I was able to have a conversation about discrimination, optics and miscommunication with real world examples with my teenage son. The food was actually delicious the drinks and view were great. Management can state that it was not discrimination but due to the very poor communication and optics of it, it clearly felt as if it was. In addition they were not hotel employees on their brake because they were drinking cocktails before we got there and after we left. Unless they let their staff drink on the job.

Yelp
The food was a miss. First, the "focaccia" they bring to the table to start wasn't focaccia at all and honestly was barely bread. It was so under proved/under baked that it was clearly raw. The minestrone also wasn't minestrone, as you can see the broth wasn't tomato based (which is crazy since that defines a minestrone soup) and was instead a heavy cream based soup. It wasn't refreshing and tasted like straight sausage. The gnocchi was really good, but the clams/Ciopinno were very bland and not worth the price tag at all. The restaurant itself is beautiful and our server was great. She clearly had a lot of tables at once and handled it very well. We waited only 5 minutes to be seated on a Saturday night. That's the only redeeming quality about the dinner here

Lila C.

Yelp
We really like this restaurant, it's one of our favorite restaurants in the country. Everything we ordered tastes great, every time we eat here. The salad is super fresh and they already mixed for you. Calamari is crispy and delicious. Sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had - crunch bread with fresh ingredients, tasty meat and good flavors. Service is great! The environment is comfortable, and it has a beautiful view of the river and bridge.

Marin K.

Yelp
Sat out on the patio with a beautiful river view. Wine, service, ambiance and food were amazing. The focaccia bread they bring to start is warm and garlicky, melts in your mouth. Ordered the clam linguine, delicious. New favorite in Hoody!!

Darbie E.

Yelp
Gorgeous day on the river. Don't be put off by eating dinner at a Best Western. The food was gorgeous, service was good, and the view can't be beat!

Emma T.

Yelp
I am so confused on how this random restaurant inside a Best Western is so darn delicious! Lovely river front location with breathtaking views. We had a large party but they would not take reservations for breakfast. We lucked out and there was room outside on their patio for us and it was a beautiful day. All the food was delicious and came pretty quick for such a large ticket. I'm kicking myself for not asking if I could buy their homemade GF granola in bulk to take home. It was some of the best granola I have ever had. They had multiple GF options on their menus using Bobs Red mill products. 100% worth a visit to dine riverfront

Kenny F.

Yelp
I sat on the deck. It was a cold windy day, but the view is amazing. I had the pan roasted salmon. It was delicious and cooked a perfect medium. My only complaint was that the chef was heavy handed with butter on the plate. Service was friendly and attentive without being overly so.

Sam Z.

Yelp
Everything was perfect. Food, service, dining area, and view. One of the best calamari I have ever had. The salmon was perfectly cooked. I highly recommend it

Julie O.

Yelp
Located in the Best Western. Superb river views and excellent food. Waitstaff and hostess were super friendly. Food is always top notch here. We enjoyed the two for one pasta dinner and then a nice relaxing breakfast the next day. If you stay the night they always give you a $10 per person voucher to use in the restaurant.

Mason Finn K.

Yelp
Riverside was a great stop on my way home from Mosier. I would recommend grabbing a bite here if you're on your way down the 84 and want a slightly elevated dining experience. The food was solid, I had the crispy chicken sandwich and my mom got the tuna melt. The fries that came with my meal were also good! The service was nice and we never waited long. The ambiance is definitely the core of the experience here. The view is amazing and you can't beat it!

Alex K.

Yelp
Great location to sit back and watch the gorge while have a meal. Located in the Best Western hotel it is open for anyone. There is a bar as well if you need to kill time while waiting. We had a 45 min wait on Sunday afternoon. They looked a little short staffed so just be ready. If you can make a reservation that might be better. The patio is where it's at but they have plenty of inside seating. The wait staff were extremely friendly and paid attention to our table. We were a party of 5 including a child. We had water and drink refills. We ordered a corned beef Rueben sandwich which I split with my partner along with a side of fries. The waiter brought out an extra plate without us asking. The sandwich was good but a little too cheesy and the cabbage was not kraut which would have been a nice touch. Fries were perfect. The waiter even gave us togo cups for our sodas. Overall, I would recommend this place and in will be back again.

Finn L.

Yelp
Surly hostess and cranky server, meh food. The lunch menu was really, really limited. The food portions were teeny tiny. My steak sandwich had two skinny slices of beef, Needless to say, the picture of the steak sandwich they show on their website looks NOTHING like the one i was served! The tuna sandwich was just breading and dinky, the salads were just ok and the grilled $3.50 each shrimp was rubbery and tasteless. French fries were overdone and clearly just ore-ida frozen fries cooked too long. We expected so much more. The view was the best part of the meal. We won't be going back because there are too many good restaurants in the area that put this place to shame.

Hillary P.

Yelp
We stay at the hotel for one night and decided to have some dinner. Unfortunately there were a few issues with our experience... fruit flies everywhere... including my drink. The sauce on the beef seemed to be ragu sauce. The server was very nice and tried to fix what she could.

Flory W.

Yelp
It was a 35 mins. wait. We decided to go in the bar and have a seat. They were very busy! Servers were slow! They do not have to-go meals. (I don't know why, they have take-outs for our leftovers!) We could have eaten them inside our room, with the river view (that I wanted), instead we ate in the restaurant/bar without the view (that we paid for). Husband's potatoes, weren't cooked. They instead substituted it with a dessert. Otherwise, the meal was pretty good (including his fruit bowl). My Manila Clams & linguine, was very good, I was starving. I left just a few bites (for another meal, I had it for breakfast).

Tim K.

Yelp
Beautiful views, excellent location for an outside lunch. The salmon sandwich was quite good. A combination of salmon and lemon aioli with lettuce, tomato, in a pesto sauce. You get a choice of fries or house salad. Plenty of fresh lettuce, tomato's and radish's with homemade dressing. Great place to sit outside and have something to eat, enjoy some appetizers, or a cocktail.

Joan F.

Yelp
We enjoyed our breakfast on the patio. Lots of menu choices--it all looked good. I had the croissant lox sandwich. Delicious! The French toast and fruit looked great, too. High praise for the breakfast potatoes and the omelettes. The service was good and the patio with dappled shade was perfect for a July morning. I'll likely be back when I'm in town and staying at the Best Western.

Maria A.

Yelp
Our server was great as was the food. Sadly, a huge turnoff occurred toward the end of our meal when the senior hostess asked us to move to the bar because a big party was coming in and they wanted our table. We had only been seated for just under an hour... Admittedly, so annoyed that our dinner for two enjoyment should be rushed for a larger group I am writing this Yelp review in the negative. When she did ask, I responded by saying we were going to finish our glass of wine. This is not hospitality, but rude and poor planning; the website notes they don't take reservations. Therefore, why rush two people who came in earlier for the extra 15 minutes or so to finish our wine because a group of 8-10 came in. Profit. They could have waited a little longer. Don't go. They will treat you similarly.

Grace T.

Yelp
Amazing views of Columbia Gorge. Fresh farm-to-table produce. Service was prompt and attentive. We had the caprese salad, calamari, and salmon burger. The caprese salad was fresh and flavourful. I only wish they took reservations!

Juli S.

Yelp
On 5/24/19, I had a complimentary breakfast at the Riverside restaurant, located inside the Best Western in Hood River, Oregon. I chose Braised short ribs with potatoes, spinach, peppers and onions, served with 8 grain toast. The food and service were very good. The views from the dining room were spectacular! I have stayed at this Best Western several times over the years. I've always had a great experience. Highly Recommended!

Shelli W.

Yelp
We stopped here for some Italian food and ambience. They have a very limited Lunch menu. They had one pasta dish and it was meatless. Our waitress, Tracy offered to inquire with the cooks to see if a different pasta dish could be finagled. The cooks offered to substitute the polenta for pasta and serve it with the red pasta sauce and meatballs. It was good. Looking around other guests had the soup and salad. The dinner salad looked like a mixture of greens with a slice of radish, nice and fresh. Someone else had the fish and chips. Everything I saw looked really good and at 1:30 pm our food was served quickly. Very nice setting overlooking the River. We would probably stop here again.

Christine D.

Yelp
I was looking for a good restaurant near the Best Western. Well, I discovered this online and found out it was the restaurant in the hotel. The prospect of having dinner with wine and not worrying about who is driving was great. I tried to make reservations but they do not take them, which is fine we just got there when they opened up at 4 PM. So, we had dinner a bit early in the bar but it was great. Our server Emily was very helpful in picking out wine, as well as ensuring our food allergies were adhered to. We were there for a conference so it was nice to be close to that and to have a place to have breakfast in the morning. We had dessert but took it to go as we were both too full to eat it at that time. All the food was great. This is surprising for a hotel, usually, a restaurant in a hotel is seen as somewhat of a "loss leader" but in this case so not true. I'll definitely be back to sample more of their food items.

Cecilia D.

Yelp
I can not describe how AMAZING this restaurant is. Me and my daughter were stuck here due to closure on 84. The staff were amazing, and the food, oh my goodness, the food was so good. It is so hard to find good food these days I can explain how delicious it was! The view or the ambiance of the restaurant was absolutely stunning! 10/10 would come back here again

Marilyn B.

Yelp
Riverside is a MUST DO while in Hood River. I needed something to eat after a long drive from Seattle. I ordered the Minestrone Soup - Spicy Italian sausage, white bean and kale - absolutely delicious. We came back for dinner. I ordered the salad with a Green Goddess dressing which was incredible. Then, I had the Black Mussels in a vinegar broth, another excellent dish. My husband had the Steak Tips in a red Demi glaze - yummy with the potato kale and sautéed peppers. The following day for breakfast. I had the Avocado Toast with an egg omelet and sliced avocados with grated cured eggs along with a mixed green salad. I must must make this Avocado dish. My husband loved his Greek yogurt drizzled with local honey with house made granola and fresh strawberries. Usually good food overshadows the staff. However, the staff from the hostess, food server and bus boys were so friendly, warm and inviting. I think these positive attitudes are a reflection of the TOP DOWN effect. If management treats their employees well, it reflects in their work. The staff made us happy with their service. I want to be a return guest of the Riverside.

Jennifer M.

Yelp
This restaurant is located inside the Best Western Hotel. DO NOT let that stop you from eating here. The service is excellent, the food is delicious and the view is unparalleled. I've had breakfast lunch and dinner here, and breakfast is my favorite, but it's all good!

Annie M.

Yelp
The view was incredible and the patio area was my favorite. But I can't say I was impressed with the food. I had Had the Tuna salad and the tuna was so salty. The two eggs added had no flavor the salad came out dry with no dressing or any type of flavor. Honestly the Tuna tasted out of a can albacore like. My husband liked the grilled cheese sandwich but that's hard to miss. Service was ok not too impressed. The drinks were the best thing aside from the views. I would try it again for breakfast was not fan of lunch at all. 4 out of a 10 for the drinks and incredible view.

G Y.

Yelp
Best food ever! My wife and I have traveled throughout Oregon on various trips, but the Riverside restaurant tops the list on all around food quality and taste! The service was excellent- the server was really down to earth and he would check on us at appropriate times. The views of hood river and the opposing Bay Area were perfect from our main dining room table. We had two pastas, an asparagus side and Focaccia bread. That bread and asparagus were so good!!! The Riverside places a priority on ensuring their side dishes are as flavorful as their main dishes - few restaurants operate at that level. Great job Chef!!!

Denise M.

Yelp
This restaurant is attached to the best western plus hotel that we stayed at. Went in to have a quick dinner. The menu was a bit trendy which we are more traditional in our food choices. I opted on the mixed green salad with blue cheese dressing instead of the green goddess offered. I wanted something not heavy like pasta or meats. So I had the Manila clams from the starter menu. They were the perfect choice for a lighter meal. I love clams, and being in the PNW that was a perfect choice. Great broth and flavor. My husband had the Caesar salad which was (Chiogga radicchio, house Caesar dressing, focaccia croutons, grated pecorino) a very interesting salad, and a burger. The burger was huge. Food came quickly and our server was friendly and accommodating. ( the table could use a tightening. It was really wobbly). Other then that, we had a nice meal.

Amy C.

Yelp
Went with a friend for 2 for 1 pasta night. We were really looking forward to it. The menu was tragic. There was no normal type of chicken, shrimp, or salmon pasta at all. I ended up getting the pork pasta. It was just pork and pasta and sauce. Nothing yummy in it. My friend had the kale pesto. Also very bland. I had leftovers and my husband said this is not pork. I agreed. I believe it was braised beef. They labeled my takeout box "pork". I still don't believe it was pork but that's ok because I really didn't want pork anyways. Like a pasta carbonara or a seafood pasta (without calamari & mussels) would have been great. What happened to normal pasta done up fancy with yummy ingredients? Super disappointing.

John C.

Yelp
This is second time we've eaten at Riverside. Every meal is fantastic. It's very innovative. Menu portions are fine very fresh, vibrant dining. We have eaten in a lot of restaurants in hood river and I would rank this among the top ones in hood river. We went back for breakfast and it was just as good as dinner was. The server even made an exception and made a custom order for me. She substituted chorizo for the corn beef in the hash. How good is that Antonio if you don't check this place out you're missing one of the best restaurants in Hood River.

Sarah D.

Yelp
I don't normally write bad reviews. I've decided that I just won't go back. But I feel like this restaurant really missed the mark. We booked a room for a girls weekend for my birthday at the hotel. We had visited the lounge prior to our Saturday dinner plans at Riverside and enjoyed our time there. This restaurant does not accept reservations, so we came in for dinner around 6. We were told there was a half hour wait, so we seated ourselves at the bar to wait. We waited over an hour for a table. Fine, but we were hungry. We were finally seated in a booth. We were served water and a basket of their focaccia bread. We ordered a bottle of wine to share and an appetizer of minestrone soup and two pasta entrees. We waited 1/2 hour before our server brought our wine out. Another 1/2 hour later, we still did not have any food. We noticed that a couple at a table next to us received their food and they had arrived at least 1/2 hour after we did. Finally, our female server came by and I asked where our food was. She immediately said she would get her manager. He came over and apologized, and said that our server "forgot" to put in our order! Seriously? We were sitting there the whole time and she didn't wonder why we didn't have food? The managers solution was to comp both of our entrees, but we were too upset to sit there and eat them, so we took them to go in boxes. Didn't get to try the minestrone soup. This was my birthday dinner and it was ruined by this server. I can't get the time (two hours) or experience back. It was extremely upsetting to my daughter and I.

Lois H.

Yelp
Food was fabulous! The view of the river was amazing! The service was outstanding! Perfect night with the family! Highly recommend.

DK S.

Yelp
Been coming here consistently for years. As a local, this is one of my few go-to restaurants in the area. Food and service is consistently good. Best views in town and "big city" styling without the "big city" attitude. Many Gluten Free options also.

Jordan B.

Yelp
Kimi our server was amazing. Best customer service I've had here. Tuna melt was also amazing

Michael K.

Yelp
My wife and I were staying the night at the Best Western and decided to try their restaurant Riverside. As their name suggests, it offers riverside views while dining. We watched as clouds crashed into the hills across the water and waffed down through the trees. Their menu had an Italian slant but also offered several more traditional seafood as well as numerous vegan friendly dishes. My wife ordered their king salmon with gnocchi daily special. Fresh caught she said it was delicious. I chose the garlic shrimp linguine. Also delicious I wonder if they make their own pasta as it tasted freshly made. The shrimp had the tails so a little work there but worth it. We paired our meal with a glass of red wine from local vintners. They had several on the dinner menu and also have a full wine list that we didn't look at. My big let down here for the evening was the service. My wife summed it up best as the staff was just going going through the motions. They technically did everything they should but it was with no real interaction or connection.

Melissa S.

Yelp
This is a whole new scene. Been coming here for decades. Service has always been great. I've never been disappointed in a meal. However.. now it has really been elevated. We haven't been here since the pandemic. What a transformation. Love the new digs. Casual or fancy.. doesn't matter. Relaxed. Great Fish&Chips. The twist on Caesar made with radicchio is my new favorite. Clams are perfection. The calamari was tender, light & seasoned just right. Order the whiskey Smash. You will thank me.

Krizia N.

Yelp
Their calamari is absolutely amazing. I had their fish and chips and they're pretty solid. Food is great, outside seating has a beautiful view. Service was okay. I would come back, because that calamari was just delicious.

Francois P.

Yelp
The amazing Salsiccia! (Spicy Italian sausage Ragu) And also a really attentive staff!!!

Kim G.

Yelp
Wonderful place to enjoy a meal with a spectacular view of the Columbia River and bridge in the background. I've eaten here several times while staying at the Best Western, where this restaurant is located. Or after a day of visiting orchards and wine tasting, wanting a good meal before returning to Portland. During Covid, they have expanded their outdoor dining area and there are several areas to sit, with plenty of space between you and other guests. There are heat lamps to keep you warm while allowing you to enjoy the ambiance that outdoor dining provides. Staff is fantastic, attentive without being intrusive. I've enjoyed steak, bucatini carbonara, a burger (always delicious) and even brunch, which is a great way to start the day. The menu is smaller right now, understandable, and still has an Italian influence. Cocktails, beer, wine, cider- all available at reasonable prices. Huge parking lot out front and the restaurant is off the lobby so plenty of space for those waiting to be seated. I recommend getting a reservation since capacity is limited, even with the large outdoor space.

Mindy P.

Yelp
My girlfriends and I came to the Best Western tofu by the pool for the weekend. We had breakfast here the first morning. It was 9:40 on a Saturday and we waited about 25 mins for a table, but walking along the river was a nice distraction. I ordered a Bloody Mary. The pickled veggies were very good and the Mary was decent, if a little light on the vodka. Service was efficient, if not necessarily friendly. We ordered the avocado toast and the chilaques. The avocado toast needed seasoning, but the bread was good. There was an enormous amount of greens that probably get tossed 9/10 of the time. The chilaquiles were delicious--well-seasoned with the tortilla strips soaked in salsa verde and were somehow a bit crispy. There were no beans, which I'm accustomed to and would have liked. But we really enjoyed this dish! Very filling. We also got a side of bacon, which was also a hit.

Tim R.

Yelp
We stayed at the Best Western and had breakfast here twice. We tried several of the savory and sweet dishes. All of them were tasty and nice size. They also serve the local 10 Speed Coffee, yummy. This place offer lunch, dinner, and a full bar. Beautiful views of the river and Hood River bridge are free with your meal.

Faith K.

Yelp
Great view on the river. Food tasted really good but about 45 minutes after eating there we both had to bolt to the bathroom...

Christ F.

Yelp
Luxurious and simple in its approach to food and atmosphere! A definite go to if your in Hood River! The views can't be beaten, merely matched!

Joanne M.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant, lovely river view, great service and authentic orecchiette pasta! We were on our way to Walla Walla and thought we would stop for a quick dinner in Hood river. What a surprise to find such a lovely setting on the river and a great menu. First they brought us complementary warm bread that was a meal in itself. My family is from Bari, Italy so I was very excited to see orecchiette on the menu since it is the traditional pasta of that region. They also had an amazing peach and burrata salad for starters. I had the veggie orecchiette and my husband had the gnocchi. Everything was amazing. Hood river is an hour from our home in Vancouver and it is definitely worth the drive to come back here again!

Cris L.

Yelp
The very best thing about this restaurant was its unbeatable location. Sitting on a wide balcony, you have stunning views of the river. The sunset was breathtaking. The food was pretty good as well! We started the with the calamari which was very tasty but pretty oily. For the main course, we ordered the pasta with lamb which was pretty good, but the pasta itself was a little underwhelming. The short rib was delicious and the polenta with greens were super tasty! Definitely a great place to check out when visiting Hood River

Adam T.

Yelp
This hotel is pretty nice with the hot tub and view.... But the breakfast at this restaurant is outstanding! I'm blow away every time we come. Lox and cream cheese and the chorizo hash were the standouts for me.

Rachel C.

Yelp
The atmosphere is classy and modern. The food tastes local and made with precision and pride. We loved it so much we went for dinner and came back for breakfast! I am still giving 5 stars despite the slightly disjointed breakfast and very dry bagel... we were only told once our first meal was delivered that the second one would not be arriving because they were out of bagel for lox breakfast. To which we said "fine we are full after splitting this eggs Benedict anyway" but then a few minutes later the Lox did come and honestly the bagel was so dry/stale I didn't want to eat it. BUT, again I was willing to let it slide as our dinner experience was so phenomenal! The salads were not only reasonably priced at $9 ea but they were outstanding and really delicious. We had the kale Cesar and and beet salad. We also shared the shrimp linguine and the seafood was cooked to perfection and the sauce delectable. The food is great and the view takes it over the top!

Yelp
The food was excellent. The service just "ok" The restaurant was FREEZING!! I asked the server if they could turn down the air. She went back to ask and we were told that the manager was out of the country and they can't change it. We almost left and for that unfortunate reason I won't be back! It was all I could do to stay to get through my delicious meal.

Yelp
Food was terrible. There was no flavor. Service was also terrible. Server doesn't even check on you. Food wasn't even cooked all the way through. Only thing good about this restaurant is literally the River view.

Yelp
Great no-egg vegetarian option! We loved the food and the view on the patio was spectacular!
