The LA Day Drinking Guide - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"If you want to drink with friends and maybe eat some food, but have zero desire to worry about reservations, head to Roadside Tacos. Located along Cahuenga Pass between Universal City and Studio City, the colorful taqueria is walk-in only and everyone orders drinks and food individually at the counter. There is seating inside, but the spacious, string-lit side patio is where you want to be. Here you can push together however many tables you need to fit your group, and whenever you finish your first margarita, you can just walk up to the separate outside bar to order your second." - brant cox

Where To Eat With Your Dog In LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"This taqueria on Cahuenga Pass is a good place to keep in mind whenever you don't have solidified restaurant plans. We don’t mean that as a dig. Roadside Taco is walk-in only and the counter set-up means everyone orders their drinks and food individually—two attributes that always come in handy with a group. There is seating inside, but the spacious, string-lit side patio is where you and your needy canine daughter want to be. Even if you push together a few tables for your group, there will still be plenty of space left over for Princess Waffle to sprawl out and catch the eye of every passerby." - brant cox

We were visiting from Eugene Oregon and found Roadside Taco on Google. I thought it looked super cute from the outside. We had the carne asada and al pastor tacos, chips and guacamole and the street corn. It was all good! We also had guava margaritas and some of the popsicles! The popsicles are so good! Don’t skip!

Google
The food was absolutely delicious, and the margarita was hands down the best in town. For the price, I would’ve appreciated a more generous portion of chips to go with the salsa, but overall, a great experience.

Google
Tacos are mid at best yet they cost $6/each… You can find legit street meat tacos on nearly any block in LA that are twice as good and half the price. 75% of tables were empty on a Friday evening and if I had to guess, I’m not the only one thinking the quality and value fall short of the prices being asked. It’s not to say this place doesn’t have potential… but a reality check would be a great place to start. Update: To reply to the business’s response. Yes, I am aware of these costs and have employees of my own. That doesn’t change the fact that the value and quality of your product doesn’t reflect the price. You’d have more revenue if your restaurant wasn’t 75% vacant on a Friday night. There’s a reason for that vacancy, and if I had to bet top dollar it’s because you charge $6 for a taco that’s not even fully filled with food, smaller than the palm of my hand, has no cheese and costs about $0.25 to make if not less. Also when you name yourself Roadside Taco, your customers are inherently going to compare your quality, service, and prices to street meat. Otherwise why call yourself Roadside?

Casual and fast. Great tequila selection as well! Came in before a show at the hollywood bowl. Ordered 3 tacos and a margarita. Food was freshly made and served within 10 minutes (although it was not crowded so I can't speak for busier times) great place for a quick meal and drink.

Google
Me and my husband come here almost every Saturday night. It’s becoming our tradition. We are always greeted with smiles and friendly faces! The absolute best street tacos! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu but my favorites are the carne asada taco and the crunchy roadside taco. The most amazing guacamole! So fresh and delicious! The vibe / atmosphere is perfect for any occasion- date night, family night out… it’s literally perfect! We love everything about this place!

Google
🍜 Food: The food was good, but is it the best tacos in LA? No, most definitely not. They don't have beef birria taco but the do have chicken birria, which was unfortunate not the best. The chicken was sadly dry and it gave the taco a negative texture. We also had their quesadilla tacos and they hit the mark a lot better. It has a good balance of cheese and meat and the guac salsa on top helps with flavor. The hot chicken taco was very good with a well balanced mix of toppings and flavor. 👩‍💼Service: We experienced an order at the counter and seat yourself style of service. Nothing special. 🏠 Atmosphere: Lively and open outdoor space with many tables. 💸 Price: The cost per person came out to $20 for us. $45 total for 4 tacos, a drink and a side.

Google
One of my favourite places while on a short trip to LA - visited twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. It's a really cute venue, with a great range of tacos and fresh cocktails.

Google
This place has some very good tacos!! I also feel the mango margarita was tasty. I loved that they are dog friendly and had a great outdoor atmosphere. A little pricey, but my family enjoyed the food.

Yelp
We've used this place for several meetings. Solid amount of space outdoors, a little bit inside. They have daily specials. You have to order at the counter or qr code. And drinks are a seperate area. Their Al pastor is good. Both tacos and nachos are solid. The food was about $20 + drinks.

Yelp
Service could def use some help. Got a nice welcome when I walked in but that was it for the whole visit You go up to a counter and order, totally cool but the cashier was pretty unenthusiastic Not even a thanks for the $1 tip on the overpriced tacos and Ezquites with corn hair still in it. Sit at the bar order a beer, got it quickly but never got checked on once by the bartender. But I get it, too busy talking to their own friends in the middle of the bar. Bummed to write this cuz the place has so much potential.

Yelp
SERVICE: Co-workers brought me for the first time, they're regulars. Loved the staff - so super cool, lovely ambience, and free parking across the street which is painfully hard in LA. Great place for photos and good laughs. Outdoor seating but there too are seats inside if needing coverage. FOOD: My food was fine and I understand it's a great place for tacos. I ordered the coconut shrimp which I didn't realize was a taco (busy running my mouth). however it taste fine. It needed something, a flavored sauce maybe. I tried the street corn but dislike sour cream so I pushed it aside. My friends loved theirs which was good. We too shared nachos that had cheese spread which is a dislike for me. I just want actual cheese. I still ate them. Their drinks also looked delicious! WELL: It being close to my job and the 101 ramp lol I'd return! I'll try the cord again but without sc. Great spot.

Yelp
Cali-mex style tacos the were solid. I like the bar and ambience of the outdoor area. To order you can use an iPad or order at the counter. The tacos were good, but if I go back, I would definitely get able because the rice and beans were the star of the show to me. The consomè for the birria needed a little bit more umph to it but overall it was a good spot to try out.

Yelp
This place feels like an true Mexican Beach Bar! I recommend it. It's my 4th time here. The salsa and Guacamole is Authentic. Tacos are great. CHICKEN Birria with Cosume? Winner. The staff is Great even if they a little pale.. lol they're nice. This place should be oacked!! The only issue is Frogger Parking across the street.

Yelp
Sooooooo good! I was walking by planning to get food nearby, but stopped in here instead. I got mushroom tacos and they were amazing. It was fairly busy but I was able to get a table and enjoy my meal. The food came out pretty quickly and I definitely will have to stop by again next time I'm in the area!

Yelp
Very fun taqueria with good food, great drinks and fun atmosphere. Both indoor and patio seating.

Yelp
This place is AMAZING! Delicious Mexican street corn topped with Tajin! Perfectly cooked chicken birria with little chunks of pineapple in the consume! YUM!!!

Yelp
I'm back again! Same wonderful experience and I brought a buddy with me who had never tried Roadside before. He took his first bite and closed his eyes and raised his hand and shook them in the air like a child eating their first bite of candy. It was actually funny to witness. I WILL be returning!! See you soon. Enjoy! @jshoeats #jsho

Yelp
So this is LA if you are gonna open up a taco joint you better be good. That means not screwing with perfection.. Done reinvent flavors. The chicken birreira with consume was not my cup of tea. They completely missed the joy in meat and cheese with some salsa on it. The pastor tacos were good tasty in need of some heat. The rice missed the mark. Service with a smile was fast. The lunch combo is a good deal I've been to many trucks with a far superior product.

Yelp
This place has a lot of charm and warm inviting vibes. Love the decor and cleanliness of the bathrooms The food counter staff were really nice and friendly. Helpful with questions about the menu. The only bummer service wise was the slightly rude blonde guy making the drinks. It took forever for our margaritas to come out, like an extended amount of time. It seems he was arguing with another employee or something. When the drinks finally came out, there were very delicious and perfectly balanced so there's that. Food wise, it was definitely hit and miss. Our group ordered a bunch of tacos and we all shared. The number one thing I always check for at Mexican. Restaurants is to make sure that the rice and beans are actually delicious. A lot of restaurants absolutely fail in this simple category. But they were both very good here. Relieved. The chicken birria was a fail. It just doesn't work. The flavors didn't jive with the chicken and the texture was underwhelming. Even the consommé was flat. The carnitas and al pastor were both delicious and flavorful. Not the most authentic, but definitely good. The carne asada and fish tacos were good too, nothing mind blowing, just good. The coconut shrimp tacos was the one I was really looking forward too the most. It just didn't work unfortunately. Although the texture of the shrimp was perfectly crispy, the flavors just don't mesh together at all. It is way too sweet almost like a dessert lol. The sweet slaw adds more sweetness to the already sweet shrimp, and the aïoli just taste like sweet mayonnaise also, making the taco taste extra heavy. The Fresno chilies were good but had the overall taco bit more balanced with spiciness and not had so much sugar it might've worked. My favorite was the Roadside taco. It literally tasted like the tacos my aunt used to make for us growing up. A simple house taco. Delicious and very crispy.

Yelp
This place used to be amazing. Great food, great prices. Now what would be a regular sized margarita anywhere else is $25, and they gutted half their menu and took off the best items. They had incredible fish tacos - those are gone. There are very limited options now. Also the chick running the cash register needs an attitude check, good lord. I asked her a question about the menu and she snapped at me. It's all really unfortunate, I used to love this spot. Two stars because the Al Pastor taco was good and because their patio space is great.

Yelp
This taco spot is so good and I love the full bar here! I stopped by for lunch and so glad I did! We ordered a bunch of food and it tasted so fresh and clean! Before I get into the food though, the staff was so nice and really did a great job. One of the tacos I ordered, I didn't like, and they replaced it with another item no questions asked. Stuff like that really stands out. I ordered the carne asada tacos, al pastor tacos, chicken birria tacos, fish tacos, shrimp tacos, chip and guacamole, and corn. And don't forget their horchata! Wow. The best taco there was al pastor and the chicken birria. Was so good and I'm definitely coming back for those. The place is huge and has plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. This seems like a fun place to be at night! Parking on the street and there is a parking lot across the street

Yelp
One visit here and I'm in love with this place. If you want great easy food and drinks in a chill setting, I highly recommend coming here. It's good for couples, groups, kids, dogs, they've got stuff for keto diets, vegetarians, even a special mocktail - everyone will have a good time. I had made a reservation for a perfect-weather Saturday at 6p, and I was surprised upon arriving that the place wasn't packed. So reservations probably aren't always needed (good news for those who don't typically reserve things in advance). Regardless, I think this restaurant deserves to be packed every hour of the weekend at least - it's an exceptional restaurant with all the qualities of a hidden gem / local favorite. I'd love to see them get more business, I want this place to stick around! The ambience and decor are perfection! It's all colorful and modern, and completely enclosed - you would NEVER guess that you're literally 300 feet away from the 101 Freeway! Their spacious seating area is all outside and dog friendly (a MAJOR plus to me!), with part of the seating area covered while the rest is more exposed. It's glorious to while away a breezy afternoon or balmy evening here, and when the weather gets cold, they've got heating lamps. The service is lovely and laidback, as well as friendly and helpful. You order inside - there is a line/area for just food orders, and for drinks you order at the bar. When your order is ready they text your phone for you to pick it up. Super easy. And it's also easy to get someone's attention if you have a random question or need something, they're all nice. The food and drinks are creative and delicious, with a 15+ types of margaritas and a food menu that changes seasonally. I didn't know quite how seasonal the menu was until I started ordering based on what I had seen on their online menu, but a few things had already been replaced. No worries though - the things they rotate seasonally are always interesting, worth trying, and tasty, so I went with some newer items. Everything is handmade with locally sourced fresh ingredients, and you really can taste the quality. Here are my takeaways for everything I tried: Spiked Horchata - This drink was off menu, something that used to be a special earlier in the year. Luckily, perhaps because it wasn't super busy, the bartender said he'd go ahead and make one for me, and THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR! I freakin love this drink. Such a delicious creamy cinnamon-y boozy cocktail, so smooth. I highly recommend this if you see it on the menu. Pineapple Margarita with Tajin & salt rim - A perfect margarita with perfect amount of pineapple Beekeeper (bourbon with blackberries, honey lavender bitters, & fresh lemon juice) - So fruity and refreshing and easy, could easily down a few of these on a warm day! Al Pastor Taco - A classic, executed well Roadside Taco - This is their version of the Americanized Taco Bell-esque hard shell taco, and it's a pretty great imitation! Fried Fish Taco - This is a classic fried fish taco but huge in portion size. The tortilla's covered in more than enough cabage slaw and the pice of fish is pretty big! This is tasty and done well, just make sure you have the appetite for it. Street Corn - You have the option to add cheetos or hot cheetos to this, but I passed on those, and maybe I should have tried them because this tasted otherwise just fine. If you have a street corn craving, this will take care of it! Chicken Birria Taco - I'd prefer a beef birria taco rather than chicken but this was still juicy and excellent and a definite standout. MUST get the +$1.50 consomme to dip it into - SO good! I didn't come close to using all the consomme that comes with this taco, but I regret not using more of it, it was so so delicious, mmm Carne Asada Taco - This (the carne asada) is my favorite type of classic taco, so and here they execute the classic very very well, so this is a favorite of the menu here for me - I'll be getting this every time! Carnitas Taco - If you love carnitas meat, you'll love this taco which highlights carnitas in its most simply, juicy, delicious form. It's far more flavorful than it looks, and I recommend trying it - I was pleasantly surprised, it's the best tasting carnitas I've ever had. Cheese Taco - I love a grilled cheese, I love pizza, and I love a bean and cheese burrito, so maybe my hopes for this were too high, but to me the cheese taco was lacking flavor and the texture was odd being so 100% soft and moist, it jsut seems like it's missing something. But it isn't bad. Churro - This was a yummy straightforward cinnamon sugar churro, served with sides of chocolate sauce, lechera, and big dollop of whipped cream. The churro itself was a bit hard, and dare I say had too much sugar coating, so I wouldn't call this a must-order, but it fits the bill if you want something sweet and sugary. Bottom line - Get your mouth over to Roadside Taco for good grub and drinks and soak in the chill vibes.

Yelp
Stopped in for tacos on a Tuesday and was pleased to see a full bar. I ordered 3 tacos to go and enjoyed a couple of margaritas while I waited. The bartender recommended the spicy mango, it was so delicious and the cucumber mint , very refreshing. The bar service was great, each margarita made to order and you can take them to go. Spanish music in the background, some in seating on one side and the bar on the other. The tacos were good. The chicken birria was my favorite.

Yelp
We break for tacos!! As two taco and margarita loving people we found our new favorite. Roadside Taco delivered with everything we were hoping for. We arrived to easy parking out front, but can see it can become difficult during peak hours. Metered street parking or lot parking across the street are the only two options available. We were greeted by two very fun, friendly and welcoming people who explained everything we needed to know. We started off with a few margaritas and then added a few tacos, tasty street corn and a churro. The margaritas were fantastic, only 7.00 for the margarita Monday special and the tacos were delicious! The tacos were stuffed with chicken and not skimpy by any means. Outdoor seating was very inviting and music was playing in the background, not loud at all and easy to hear one another speak without shouting. Indoors is nice with a bar to sit at and the overall energy is great. It's a pretty simple place, you order and seat yourself, water station available for self service and tasty popsicles are available. Roadside Taco is very family friendly, but can see it become very busy in the evening or weekends. We highly recommend a stop here for drinks and/or tacos and we will definitely be back knowing we live so close to an amazing restaurant! Cheers!

Yelp
I adore this little place! My family came here on a trip and this place was right next to our hotel. Both my brothers have special needs and my little brother in particular needs a lot of support, so dining during vacation is always something that can be tricky. Roadside was SO accessible, accepting, and understanding of all our needs, questions, and practice with new foods. We loved that the covered patio had so much space and gave our family a safe place to be a little louder without disturbing other guests. We came here three nights in a row and tried the majority of the menu. Everything was a hit. We love you, Roadside!

Yelp
Came here because a friend recommended their queso dip. But more on that later! All in all it was a solid place with good food and a fun ambiance. Let me break it down. First note you have to order at the register but get drinks at the other bar. Kind of annoying but whatever. We started off with their corn and their queso dip. Both were our favorite items we had! Definitely will get those again next time. The tacos is where it kind of fell short. Their quesadilla one was good, their chorizo one was okay and their chicken was okay. The Al pastor were the best of the bunch. The churro was tasty! The drinks were alright. Neither strong, large, nor super tasty. All in all this is a great drinks and appetizer place! The outdoor patio will be great during summer. Parking is street or across the way there is a lot.

Yelp
I've eaten here several times since they opened. The food has always been really good. The corn, the mushroom taco -- even their quesadillas. Went in last night and immediately felt like it's a restaurant on its last legs. Parking is somehow more terrible. Their ordering system was always weird, but now they're cutting corners on staffing (no hostess, no visible food order person, two very inexperienced bartenders). There were dirty trays sitting on the bar and the bartenders were doing nothing. Their menu changed to these weird combos. And their bathrooms reeked, so their janitorial is probably out the window, too. Maybe they're locked into the lease and trying to minimize the damage. Whatever it is, stay away. I give it three months and they're closed.

Yelp
This place will be shutting down soon, and honestly, it's no surprise. If Roadside Taco keeps treating customers the way they treated us, it's only a matter of time before the lights go out for good. We came in hoping for a chill, enjoyable meal, but what we got instead was a masterclass in how not to treat guests. The food? Irrelevant. We couldn't even begin to enjoy it because of the appalling service -- starting with the unbelievably rude hostess who acted like she was doing us a favor just by acknowledging our existence. Let's talk about the music situation, which seems minor but quickly revealed the kind of unprofessional, disrespectful attitude this place is running on. We were the only customers there, and politely asked if the music could be changed -- not turned off, just changed. It wasn't to our taste, and we were literally the only people in the restaurant. Pretty reasonable, right? Apparently not. The hostess instantly became combative, dismissive, and incredibly condescending. Not only did she refuse to change the music, she insisted (loudly, and with an attitude) that the Colombian music playing was actually "MEXICAN MUSIC" -- which, for anyone with even the slightest cultural awareness, is laughably wrong. Instead of listening, she doubled down, scoffed at us, and made it clear we weren't welcome to ask for anything. Who hires people like this? If you want to create a warm, inviting atmosphere -- the kind that makes people want to return and bring friends -- maybe don't hire someone who thinks the job is about proving a point instead of providing hospitality. At a time when restaurants are struggling to stay afloat, you'd think customer service would matter. But not here. Not at Roadside Taco, where apparently the music is more important than the people paying to be there. There are plenty of great taco spots in LA. Places with better food, better vibes, and better staff who know the difference between genres of Latin music and actually care if their customers enjoy their experience. Avoid Roadside Taco. If this is what passes for service, then this place deserves the empty seats and inevitable closure it's heading toward.

Yelp
Great American Tacos with a twist nice outside patio very colorful . Everyone is very nice and friendly. You must order your food before having a seat also the bar drinks you need to do a separate line for that , Different kind of Tacos .
google avatar

Yelp
The employees were helpful in picking out our tacos and we all enjoyed them. I had the carne and chicken birria. My friends had the nachos and mushroom taco with a side of the elote. Everything was great and we made it just in time for happy hour which was a great deal.
google avatar

Yelp
I got the fish grilled tacos and it was so juicy! I highly recommend coming here. The service was quick and it is a small place so I would recommend coming early for quick lunch or to go.

Daniel E.

Yelp
Roadside Taco has a wonderful ambiance. Very friendly staff who deliver tasty tacos and strong margaritas made by the bartender Daniel. I have also noticed that the music is always excellent - Salsa, Cumbia & Reggaeton! Their colorful decor and murals represent LA well. They provide both inside and outside sitting options. Metered parking is available on the street and there is also a lot with free parking across the street. Taco Tuesday was a WIN!

Yelp
The Good: delicious food. You can't hate it. Quality ingredients and the portions are on the bigger side. I get more meat on my tacos than tortilla, burritos are similar to a chipotle burrito but sturdier. They also have churro and street corn which I love. The bad... Unless you are a breakfast burrito freak (me), this might not apply to you - I came here for the breakfast burritos. Didn't matter if it was 8pm, that's what I'd order anytime from this place. Absolutely delicious - at first it was eggs, bacon, cheese, potato. Then, they limited the breakfast burrito for certain daytime hours only. Then they brought it back but changed the recipe to eggs and sausages... then they completely removed it. Lol very annoying. Aside from the breakfast burrito, the prices are a bit high. A burrito/bowl somehow ends up as $20+, 1 taco is about $6, margaritas are around $15

Yelp
Solid 3.5 stars. Ambiance is really cool. They have an indoor and outdoor area. Parking is metered, lot across the street, or side streets. For what you get, the prices were pretty expensive but the food was tasty. A virgin margarita was only a dollar less than one with alcohol which I thought was expensive. You order food from one bar and drinks from the other bar. Close out the tab where you opened it.

Dillon P.

Yelp
Best tacos in LA that's close by. The margaritas are amazing! Always get the blackberry & Al Pastor tacos. Bartenders are great
google avatar

Yelp
Loved the tacos here! Amazing pastor and carnitas, and it came neatly wrapped, too. The chicken was great as well, really nothing to complain about! Would for sure come back.

Chris S.

Yelp
Soooooo good. absolutely fantastic tacos and the best handmade margaritas. Just happened to discover this place a few weeks ago. Have driven by 100 times and totally missed it. Absolutely worth a visit!
google avatar

Jane A.

Yelp
The food was decent, got the carne asada, al pastor, hot chicken, roadside taco, guacamole & chips, churro, and drinks. The food was warm and the chips & guacamole was in a small bag with about maybe 4-6 oz of guacamole. It really added up quickly, 4 tacos, 1 bag of chips, and 2 drinks was $60. The 1 churro was $7. They also charge a 3% credit card surcharge. I'm not coming back here. Everything is on the expensive side on a regular night. They probably get the most business at Happy Hour and Taco Tuesday but is there any value to go out of your way on a week night to eat here?

Yelp
Food was good I may say wasn't happy about the service. Waited in a long line got my 3 ordered in with 1 bottled drink. With one of my order I changed the tortilla to a cheese tortilla for an extra 1.50 for it I'm guessing the cashier guy is still new and learning the system how to add or customize the tortilla in the system which is normal, so he had to ask help from another girl to put the extra $1.50 for the cheese tortilla. And because of the addition I did is where the confusion started, he repeated my order I paid and got my number for when the food is ready. On top of the long wait waiting for the food also took 15-20min finally got my text went to the pick up and asked for what I ordered I said 2 tacos and 1 roadside burrito which I said I think those two plates are mine, even the lady at the pick up looks confused with all three orders so he had to ask multiple people and finally the 3rd people said oh you only paid for 2 tacos and and a water, so I said wait what I specifically ordered for 2 tacos 1 burrito and a bottled water, so I went to the guy who took my order in and he said I'm so sorry did you order what kind of burrito I said the roadside burrito and he said I didn't charge you for it I'm sorry, my defense was you repeated my order at the end so how, I said you might got confused when you were trying to figure out how to charge me for the cheese tortilla. So I end up ordering and paying for the burrito and what makes me mad that all these people have me attitude instead of apologizing, now I have to wait another 10-15min and my 2 tacos is already COLD at this moment me trying to explain and speak to the staff. So end up eating my 2 cold carne asada and el pastor COLD and the burrito that I ordered came out not as good. Lesson always get a receipt double check the order or maybe even look at the screen I don't know. The way it was handled for a new opening restaurant wasn't good. Ambiance was nice it's an upscale looking food court at the second floor of Fountainblue.

Yelp
3.5 stars for this casual cantina with indoor and outdoor seating. Our margaritas were just fine. Got 4 different tacos - the chicken and asada were okay, the carnitas and al pastor were very good. There's a Taco Tuesday deal if you ask about it. No beer on tap!?! Parking can be challenging around here.

Yelp
Nice stop near Universal Studios. Tacos are good and the atmosphere is cool. You order first and then go find a table. My favorite taco is the carnitas.

Yelp
After Universal Studios we wanted to eat some tacos. We found this place. It was late and we where a group of 10. There was no room indoors since there's only booths inside so we sat outside in the patio area. The waitress was quick on bringing the outdoor heater to warm us up. We ordered tacos and a cup with corn on the cob. The food was authentic and tasted like it should :)

Yelp
Cute outdoor patio. The tacos and drinks were average in my opinion but I loved the churros!

Yelp
First time here, here's how it works... Grab a drink at the bar to get stared. They will take your credit card and leave it open if you want. Use the last name on the card to order food at the other counter and the same for more drinks. You pick up your food when you get a text. Close out the tab wherever you started and don't forget your card. Ok, now that we got the how to's out of the way... Music was loud inside and had a fun atmosphere. Really nice patio with heaters if needed. My callout in terms of food was the keto shell taco. Hard to find tacos that are keto friendly and with super tasty meat options. Drink special for $15 was a good deal. House shot of tequila, house margarita (not much liquor), and a beer. All and all, it was tasty but pretty expensive for what you get and no with no table service.

Yelp
The Oaxaca tacos and the nachos were super good. We love the ambience of the restaurant and the horchata and agua Fresca were awesome!

Yelp
Cute spot that was right next to our hotel. Got a few tacos and some chips and salsa. All of the salsas were delicious and I was delightfully surprised that the habanero salsa was actually quite hot! I ordered shrimp tacos but with no coleslaw (I just don't like it) so they were a little plain but still tasted great. They also gave me some avacado dip and pico de gallo on the side that I poured on them and it was fantastic!

Yelp
Like the Happy Hour Specials . Service is not full service you have to get up to order drinks in one line Then another line for food . A decent place for a great price on alcohol during happy hour ! Ordered chips and salsa with a few tacos all decent . Negative part about the tacos is greasy and I mean it . Enjoyed the tortilla and how well it held up. If this place offered full service I'd give this place another star. Dislike the out door seating which takes away from the ambiance especially on colder days . Summer should definitely be better . Only 4 booth inside .

Yelp
Went here again tonight for the 20th time. The food is always great and so is the service and ambiance. The carne asada is delicious! We were little worried because it was supposed to rain, but they have a new awning over the patio and heaters that make worrying about the rain a thing of the past. No we can get our taco and margarita fix rain or shine!!

Yelp
Fish tacos are absolutely Delicious! I get the fried fish, they also offer grilled. Fish is crunchy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. The patio is lovely and has plenty of large and small tables with comfortable chairs. Great place for large groups. The staff is always super friendly at both the food counter and bar. When I was too engrossed in conversation to notice I got the text my food was ready they came out and found me. Bartender and host were both fun! This is a great place and I can not recommend it enough.

Yelp
Stopped in to order takeout. First time in and there were lots of tables outside that looked like a nice place to sit and enjoy a meal in person. I was pressed for time so grabbed my order to go. The staff who assisted me with my order were friendly and efficient. Overall, the food did not have much flavor. The guacamole needed a bit of salt or more ripe avocados. And it was on the watery side. I thought their tortilla chips were good. They were hot and fresh. The fried fish taco had a lot of texture going on, but was lacking flavor. The cauliflower taco was a bit sweet, but had a flavor in it that I didn't care for. The street corn was lacking taste as well. The corn itself was flavorless and the cotija cheese and Tajin didn't add enough to amp it up. I'm glad I tried them. I have passed by many times and wanted to check them out. I think there's potential, but the food needs a flavor punch.

Yelp
Wow, yummy yummy tacos!!! All the tacos were excellent, but I especially liked the coconut shrimp taco. Nice people, too. I'd definitely go there again.

Yelp
Happy Taco Tuesday! This place is such a cute find, everything is so colorful here and inviting. I ordered the Mushroom tacos (no cheese) and the Cauliflower Al Pastor taco. The mushroom could have been sliced just a bit smaller, but that's just my personal preference. The Cauliflower one though, was amazing! It's the marinade, it made such a difference between your typical "cauliflower" taco and the one served here. I will probably just be ordering that one from now on.

Yelp
Ate there before a show at The Baked Potato, and it was pretty good! I ordered a crispy potato taco, a quesadilla taco with shrimp, and street corn in a cup. I really liked the crispy potato taco and the street corn in a cup. Both had lots of flavor and texture. Service was quick and friendly, and the outdoor covered patio was really nice. It's walking distance to The Baked Potato.

Yelp
On the pricier side but the food is good quality and there is always plenty of seating on the patio. Casual vibes, easy for groups!

Yelp
What's not to like! Great menu... Tacos, tequila, great patio weather, good people, cool vibe!

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. I've had it twice and after my second time i can confidently advise to go a different direction. The quality of meat in the tacos don't correspond to the prices they are charging for them. You can get better ingredients in any taco truck in the valley for half the price. Guacamole is mostly just overpowered by onions. Salsa and meats lack flavor. The list goes on and on...
