The LA Day Drinking Guide - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"If you want to drink with friends and maybe eat some food, but have zero desire to worry about reservations, head to Roadside Tacos. Located along Cahuenga Pass between Universal City and Studio City, the colorful taqueria is walk-in only and everyone orders drinks and food individually at the counter. There is seating inside, but the spacious, string-lit side patio is where you want to be. Here you can push together however many tables you need to fit your group, and whenever you finish your first margarita, you can just walk up to the separate outside bar to order your second." - brant cox

Where To Eat With Your Dog In LA

"This taqueria on Cahuenga Pass is a good place to keep in mind whenever you don't have solidified restaurant plans. We don’t mean that as a dig. Roadside Taco is walk-in only and the counter set-up means everyone orders their drinks and food individually—two attributes that always come in handy with a group. There is seating inside, but the spacious, string-lit side patio is where you and your needy canine daughter want to be. Even if you push together a few tables for your group, there will still be plenty of space left over for Princess Waffle to sprawl out and catch the eye of every passerby. " - brant cox

The food was absolutely delicious, and the margarita was hands down the best in town. For the price, I would’ve appreciated a more generous portion of chips to go with the salsa, but overall, a great experience.

Casual and fast. Great tequila selection as well! Came in before a show at the hollywood bowl. Ordered 3 tacos and a margarita. Food was freshly made and served within 10 minutes (although it was not crowded so I can't speak for busier times) great place for a quick meal and drink.

Me and my husband come here almost every Saturday night. It’s becoming our tradition. We are always greeted with smiles and friendly faces! The absolute best street tacos! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu but my favorites are the carne asada taco and the crunchy roadside taco. The most amazing guacamole! So fresh and delicious! The vibe / atmosphere is perfect for any occasion- date night, family night out… it’s literally perfect! We love everything about this place!

So good we came back the next day. The best tacos we’ve ever eaten. The burrito was delicious too. Street corn, yum. Great place to eat after a day at USH. So happy we found it.

Our recent visit to Roadside Tacos was incredibly disappointing. The prices are far too high for the quality of food being served. We had to repeatedly ask for basic condiments like salsa, lemons, and salt, which should be readily available. To make matters worse, the staff were far from friendly. This made the entire dining experience very uncomfortable. The food itself was a letdown – cold upon arrival, and the beans were noticeably dry. Overall, it was a poor value and an unwelcoming environment. I would not recommend this taqueria.

Recently tried their tacos and horchata. I’m picky when it comes to mexican food since I’m Mexican-American and eat Mexican food almost daily. I had their asada and al pastor tacos. The asada taco was flavorful but not the best, the al pastor taco was cold and lacked flavor. The horchata was too sweet, a bit thick, maybe too much milk. Atmosphere and service were great. But overpriced tacos. Wouldn’t come again. Your local taco stand is much better.

One of the best spots in L.A. the food delicious and juicy. The prices are phenomenal and the staff is always welcoming and on point. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend the pastor tacos. They come with a slice of pineapple on top. Your taste buds will thank me for this recommendation.

🍜 Food: The food was good, but is it the best tacos in LA? No, most definitely not. They don't have beef birria taco but the do have chicken birria, which was unfortunate not the best. The chicken was sadly dry and it gave the taco a negative texture. We also had their quesadilla tacos and they hit the mark a lot better. It has a good balance of cheese and meat and the guac salsa on top helps with flavor. The hot chicken taco was very good with a well balanced mix of toppings and flavor. 👩‍💼Service: We experienced an order at the counter and seat yourself style of service. Nothing special. 🏠 Atmosphere: Lively and open outdoor space with many tables. 💸 Price: The cost per person came out to $20 for us. $45 total for 4 tacos, a drink and a side.
