The Best Restaurants in Washington, D.C., From Laotian Cuisine to Steakhouses | Condé Nast Traveler

"For a quick (and decadent) lunch or dinner, don’t miss D.C.’s spin on Nashville hot chicken. This black-owned business got its start as a food truck, and thanks in part to a viral tweet in 2019 that brought in crowds, the Roaming Rooster team now operates nine storefronts (and has a presence at Nats Park). The sandwiches here are massive, and Roaming Rooster sweats the details: All of the crunchy buttermilk fried chicken is grain-fed, antibiotic-free, free-range, and halal. Choose your spice level from mild to inferno-level extra hot, and then go for sandwiches topped with everything from buffalo sauce to ranch dressing and bacon." - Adele Chapin

Roaming Rooster Is Building a New Shop for Fried Chicken Sandwiches on U Street - Eater DC

"Roaming Rooster, the D.C. company that has built a loyal local following for turning free-range chicken breasts into a variety of buttermilk brined, fried poultry sandwiches, has signed a lease for a restaurant space on U Street NW and could start selling food in the neighborhood as early as this week." - Gabe Hiatt

Food: 8.5 out of 10 Service: 4.5 out of 5 Atmosphere: 4.5 out of 5 Price/Value: 4.5 out of 5 Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.4 out of 5 Recommendations: Fries, OG Nashville My first time getting fried chicken from a food truck! Their fries are heavenly, some of the best I’ve ever had. The chicken sandwich is good but not spectacular. Overall it’s a great meal and I would get it again for sure!

Google
Always looking for good things to eat and this is one of the places I recommend. a little pricey but still very tasty. “If the sandwich’s were a bit bigger it would be worth the price”

Google
I was so hungry, I didn't take pictures of the food. They give you two fried chicken cutlets on the sandwiches. This is an awesome deal for sure and it will leave you satisfied. The food is fresh and hot. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich. I highly recommend it to buffalo lovers, also it has a rich and creamy blue cheese. Absolutely delicious. The French fries are actually cut from the potato and almost has that homemade cooked texture to them. Absolutely worth a try if you're in the area. The restaurant is clean and the staff all had smiles on their faces. Easy 5 stars. The whole family enjoyed!!!

I live upstairs and had only tried this restaurant once before then I just ordered food tonight. It is amazing 👏 very flavorful chicken and fries, plus the fries are a HUGE portion. I ordered 3 fries for my 2 small kids and myself and the portion is so big that I could have gotten one order and us split it. Very satisfied with the portions and the quality of the food, and I love how they give a slice of bread and pickles with every chicken order, it reminds me of NC and the food I grew up eating. The cashier was very lovely, and I couldn't help myself but tell her how stunning she is, ya know woman to woman 😊. I ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich and with the vinegar and coleslaw it's nostalgic and should be called NC BBQ style bc that's the real NC BBQ style, but maybe that's how they make it in Nashville too, I guess 😂

I went on a small Ethiopian food tour last month in DC. Excellent chicken sandwich (slider). If you only want the sandwich with the pickles, be sure to ask for the Roaming Rooster slider or (RR slider), unless you want to pay extra for a combo. And even then, make sure that the cashier knows what you're talking about. I kept having to tell the cashier that I only wanted the sandwich and not the combo, until someone else from the back came to assist me. You can also order a sandwich with slaw if that's your thing. Also, if you're not a spice person, then stay at medium heat only if you've ordered a drink with your meal. Otherwise, stay at low heat. The rooster sauce compliments the sandwich very well.

Google
Stopped in town for a couple days and I was recommended this spot, I was not disappointed. 1. I was supporting my East African people 2. The customer service was very good and 3. The food was superb. The chicken was nice and moist, the fries hot and crispy and they give you a good amount of them. Will definitely return on my next trip to DC.

Yelp
Serving perfectly crisp and juicy chicken, Roaming Rooster is worth trying at least once. I've eaten at a few locations and recently ate at this one after seeing a production nearby. Though I dined around 10p the customer service was still efficient and friendly. If you're looking for delicious bite on U street I recommend stopping here for either the Honey Butter Chicken Sandwich or the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich (my favorite). Not a lot of seating but big enough for a few couples and small groups.

Yelp
Every sandwich is amazing - the chicken is always fried perfectly and the sauces and toppings are incredible. Seriously some of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had, my favorite is the Honey Butter, but all of them are good. Service was fast, perfect for a quick bite to eat.

Yelp
If you're craving fried chicken sandwich look no further. This place has the best fried chicken sandwich in DC. It's a fast food style of restaurant. Lines can be long sometimes depending on the time of the day. My favorite is the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and fries. It's nicely spiced with lots of flavor. Crispy from the outside and tender from the inside. You will hear the crunch when you get your first bite. Ambiance can be slightly off sometimes. They don't have a cleaning staff cleaning the tables all the time. So sometimes we have to grab some napkins and clean our table. Price is nominal. I am glad they also started breakfast sliders. I have tried sliders a couple of times and I liked it.

Yelp
I ordered from this place on uber eats and really loved the chicken sandwich! I got the medium hotness and it was perfect - had some heat but I was still able to eat it. It reminded me of a homemade (better quality) McChicken sandwich back when McDonald's had them. BIG FAN of this place. Would order again.
google avatar

Kerri C.

Yelp
I stopped into Roaming Rooster for the first time today and was blown away at how delicious the chicken sandwich was. I got the honey butter (chicken with honey butter and cheese). The chicken was super crispy, and I loved that it was dripping in butter. I also ordered a chocolate shake which was fine, nothing special. The inside of the restaurant wasn't dirty, but could definitely use a paint job and some pictures on the wall. It was sloppy looking. Overall, this place is super expensive since the sandwiches don't come with fries. For a shake and a sandwich it was just under $19. I want to give 3 stars but that sandwich was too good. Go for the sandwich.

Yelp
Currently the location is doing takeout only, but I ordered it ahead and got the Nashville fried chicken sandwich and a side of the fries which were ready very quickly. The Nashville chicken sandwich is absolutely incredible, so crispy, flavorful, and delicious. The mild flavor is not really spicy at all, so would recommend doing at least a medium if you want a bit of spice. The fries, on the other hand, quite disappointing: despite being fresh, they were soggy. I got the rooster sauce and honey mustard sauce, both of us are delicious. The rooster sauce seems like it kind of wants to be like spicy mayo, minus the spicy, but has a hint of the flavor from Sriracha?? I would definitely ordered from here again, but would hope that the fries would be better.

Yelp
We came here for a quick bite before meeting some friends at the 9:30 club. It's a clean, cute quick service spot with reasonable prices. We went with the OG Nashville and honey butter sandwiches to share with a side of fries. One side of fries was more than enough for us and I love that you can choose the heat level for the sandwiches. We did one mild and one medium. I like spicy and my husband likes things a bit milder so the medium was a good combination. It's still spicy though so if you're sensitive to spice, I'd go with mild The sandwiches were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We really enjoyed our meal and thought the price was extremely fair if not cheap. Definitely would recommend Roaming rooster if you're craving a good fried chicken sandwich!!
google avatar

Rowan E.

Yelp
I'm always looking for good halal chicken spot, and DC never fails. The food came out fast and hot. Each sandwich is $10, but it's filling. My husband and I were only able to finish half. The other reason for that was it was SPICY. We did pick hot, but we're not expecting such a kick. You can pick from mild all the way to extremely hot. I do consider myself someone who can take the heat, but I would precede with caution. Overall, if you're looking for a halal chicken spot in the DC area, this place is worth a visit! Warning: all the traffic in DC is ridiculous and a lot of the road were closed when we went to just be careful!

Yelp
Some of the best chicken in the DMV! My wife and I first tried at Nats Park and loved it and ordered from this location last month on UberEats where we got a Medium Honey Butter chicken sandwich, a Hot Veggie Roo mushroom sandwich, and an Extra Hot OG Nashville chicken sandwich. Hot is quite spicy and extra hot we needed milk with but it was just bearable enough and the flavor was not taken away from the spice. Medium has a nice kick as well. We are excited to learn that Roaming Rooster is coming soon to our neighborhood of Downtown Silver Spring.

Yelp
I've heard a lot of great things about this place and for me who doesn't really like chicken to give it a try is pretty amazing. Food is super messy so get ready with a bunch of napkins The honey butter had a great taste to it. I don't think the rooster sauce tasted like much. And if you like spicy like me go with extra spicy. I don't think the spicy was hot at all. I love the coleslaw isn't saturated with oil it's very well done and has a fresh flavor to it. A lot of nice outdoors seating in this location as well
google avatar

Yelp
I had heard this place has one of the best chicken sandwiches ever and I could be bias since I'm a southerner growing up on Chick-Fil-A since I was like 4-5 years old back in the early 90s. I must admit, this was a d*mn good chicken sandwich! The fries didn't make the picture because I ate them. No explanation needed there. I was shocked at how fast we got our food because the place was packed, but it was quicker than expected. From the pickles to the sauce that the sandwich comes with, I'm more than pleased. The parking for the area is DC parking, since it's off U-Street. It wasn't too too bad though. Will be coming back next time I'm DC.

Yelp
My partner and I planned a day trip to the DMV area which led to us researching a few food places to try. After seeing a segment about Roaming Rooster by Food Insider on YouTube, we decided a chicken sandwich from Roaming Rooster was a must try while visiting. We got the OG sandwich medium spice with an oreo milkshake. I must say, this chicken sandwich is definitely in my top 5 of best chicken sandwiches I've had. We went with the medium spice because people said the spice here is no joke but we both thought we could have went even spicier. Two chicken filets fried perfectly on top of a house slaw and pickles in between soft potato buns. This will be a routine stop every time I am back in DC.
google avatar

Shane S.

Yelp
Go to is the club sandwich. It's always fresh and I love their pickles. The fries are great and large servings. The slaw is the sleeper here. It's not a wet slaw and it's got jalapeños which allows the heat to sneak up on you. Throw a little on the sandwich and to make a perfect combination.
google avatar

Kriss D.

Yelp
Okay soo I didn't get the chance to take pictures but I stopped by for lunch the Buffalo chicken sandwich was delicious! It was just the perfect amount of spice and portions are great! Fries were hot and soo good! I ordered online and the service was quick and easy! I didn't have to wait, food was ready before the pickup time!
google avatar

Amari E.

Yelp
The honey butter chicken sandwich with medium level heat is amazingggg, especially when it is covered with the roaming rooster sauce ( the yellow not the white one). I will say the chicken sandwich is messy which kind of turned me off at first but you just make sure you have napkins and a bathroom ready to wash your hands after. Service is pretty quick, you order and sit and wait for it to be ready. You have the option for take out or to eat in but they give you a take out bag regardless of your choice. I would recommend not sitting next to the window lol, I've had an unhoused individual bang on the window while I was eating to ask for money. Other than that, great place to get lunch or a late night meal. Also, the half and half iced tea and lemonade is the best I've ever had!!
google avatar

Brittany I.

Yelp
The food is delicious, as always. Staff is very friendly. The food is fast, fresh, and hot. The online ordering option is very convenient. But I do wish they had indoor restaurant type seating.
google avatar

Lauren S.

Yelp
Delicious chicken sandwiches! Good size on the fries and the lemonade was fresh, tart and sweet all at once. The inside space has a few tables and chairs and looks like there's outdoor seating when it's warmer. Good and fast service and delicious food and sauces!

Yelp
Even a long wait time can't get in the way of 5 stars for this good food. I waited about 30mins for three full wings in a small white box with a piece of bread with pickles. It reminded me of church lunches I would get down south growing up. There were places to sit inside, but I preferred to take my food and continue walking to take in the sights and sounds of U St. The chicken was crispy, juicy and well seasoned. I got a spice level 1 and it was definitely presently spicy. I would definitely say be mindful to order with no heat if you don't want it to be too hot and if you think you can handle spice venturing to medium might be more than you anticipate! The portion of the food was a perfect small meal or large snack. This is def a must hit on the U St corridor I'll be coming back to try the fries or maybe a sandwich
google avatar

William D.

Yelp
Roaming Rooster was the food truck everyone at my old office would get the most excited for. Literally they'd exclaim for the honey butter chicken. Portion sizes are big, so it's understandable that this is priced at a premium. I love how they've been able to grow the business and it feels good to support a local business and not a chain. The Buffalo chicken flavor is classic, but might be overly salty for some. It's hard to recommend one flavor over another because it will depend for each person. Go with the honey butter though and make sure you have napkins nearby. These can be saucy.
google avatar

Jen J.

Yelp
THEIR BREAKFAST SANDWICHES. That's all you need to know. Biscuits are thick and top-notch. Whatever goes in the middle of the biscuit (breakfast or otherwise) is super flavorful. My absolute go-to when I need a tasty treat!
google avatar

Nancy M.

Yelp
We've been trying different fried chicken sandwiches spots and finally stopped by Roaming Rooster. Yummmm!! My husband got the honey butter and I got the Buffalo chicken. My goodness both were sooooo delicious! The chicken looks like it's way crispier than it is, but you take a bite and it's extremely juicy! The bread is super soft, and you know that's important too. Definitely will put this in our rotation! Check them out. They're quick and you can order ahead.
google avatar

Sean C.

Yelp
I ordered the Buffalo chicken biscuit & side of tots..the biscuit is incredible. It can be a messy eat... but it was worth the mess.
google avatar

Mai S.

Yelp
Had Roaming Rooster's honey butter chicken sandwich. I thought the cheddar cheese would be dominating, but it actually melded well with the sandwich. I didn't taste the honey butter too much. The flavor and texture of the sandwich was A1. I loved the crunch of the chicken and the softness of the bun. It was a great combination. The chicken was perfectly seasoned.

Pablo G.

Yelp
Mild chicken nuggets taste fresh & love the roaming rooster sauce goes well with it too!

Kamilia L.

Yelp
Southerner buying DC chicken? I felt like I was cheating on the "Fil-A" but it was well worth it. Although its COVID, so we couldn't eat in, I got a Honey Chicken sammich to go. It was phenomenal. The crunch was perfect the chicken moist and the honey butter was magical. I got it regular and in the word of Kevin Heart "I wasn't ready". There's still a mild kick. That delectable heat hit my trachea and I felt the smoke was going in however I couldn't stop. I grabbed a lemonade and kept going. This girl's no quiter. I really thought this was an awesome sandwich. My friend got the spicy one with the slaw; she's Jamaican so heat is of no consequence to her. Yet, she she couldn't finish. So, toungues beware. I would come back again though.
google avatar

Nneka M.

Yelp
Oh Roaming Rooster...You're still the one ;) The best fried chicken sandwich in the area...and now you've blessed us with a 2nd location!! (insert slow streaming tear of joy here) Ordered a couple of chicken sandwiches via uber eats for delivery....arrived about 45-50 mins after placing the order...not bad at all!! The Chicken was crispy, hot, and flavorful...and both sandwiches were individually wrapped and bagged separately..bravo!! Just remember that this chicken is free range, grain fed and antibiotic free. If you're going to do meat....this is the way to go! Overall, Highly recommend!!

Benjamin B.

Yelp
The Honey Butter Chicken Sandwich is definitely the best thing here but you have to order pickup here otherwise you are going to be sitting around for 15-20 minutes for your food. Popeyes has it beat on price and speed, but still a good place to try once if you are new to DC. 3.5/5
google avatar

Laurel W.

Yelp
Had lunch here yesterday. Chicken club was really tasty. But the wait for the food took quite a bit. I suggest ordering before you go and just pick it up.

Yazmine B.

Yelp
The food was amazing especially at the price point and I went back twice on Super Bowl Sunday -- which was also my first time ordering from here. I ordered the OG Nashville Hot and the Honey Butter sandwich. Both would absolutely out of this world. The chicken is fresh and not too heavily breaded but crispy and warm and the spice is fantastic. Could absolutely eat it daily.
google avatar

Yelp
I gobbled up my sandwich before I even got home to take a photo, true story. Some era previous to this pandemic, I would always order food from a place that doesn't exist around Home. On this occasion I was craving a darn good chicken sandwich. Now, the choices are endless for chicken sandwiches from fast food chains (coser to Home) but why only exist for Chik-Fil-a or Popeyes when you can have RR? The chicken was juicy and tender and hot when I finally got to it --a whopping 17 minutes after it was ready, still hot and very very delicious. I went with boring this time: a honey butter sauce doused on a mildly spicy chicken patty. You just cannot go wrong with hot butter dripping down your wrist as you're trying to tackle a continent-sized crispy hot patty (I'm kidding but it was big... TWSS). Now for a second time with a different flavor and a side of fries, here I cooome!

Yelp
While running errands in DC, my boyfriend and I decided were craving fried chicken and decided to have Roaming Rooster for lunch. It was a fast casual type of restaurant where you order at the counter, wait for order number to be called, and sit wherever you like. This restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. My boyfriend loved his OG Nashville Sandwich at medium heat. It consisted of buttermilk fried chicken breast, vinaigrette slaw, and pickles on a bun. He enjoyed with both Honey Mustard and Sriracha Mayo. He could feel the spiciness in his eyes. The only complaint was he wished it was on a brioche bun. I loved the 3-piece Chicken Tenders at mild heat. It consisted of three large pieces of buttermilk fried chicken tenders served the southern way - on a slice of toast with pickles. The chicken tenders were crispy, not too crunchy, juicy, and tender. I enjoyed dunking the chicken tenders into the Honey Mustard. We enjoyed our meal with a large Lemonade, which quite refreshing. I liked how it had the right balance of sweetness and tartness.
google avatar

Yelp
As we continue our hunt for the best Fried Chicken Sandwich in the DMV, we come across our top 3 locations. This is a fan favorite. This chicken sandwich is always on point. If you have some time for a quick stop this is the place. They have 2 locations as of now but another being built in SE.
google avatar

Leah R.

Yelp
After hearing many enthusiastic recommendations from numerous friends and family members, I decided I would give this place a try. As I looked on the menu I wanted to try something simple so I ordered the classic combination of chicken tenders and fries. However, as a newcomer to this establishment, I was uncertain about the name "OG Nashville" that popped up on the screen to place my order. I decided to wait until my order was ready to see if the "OG Nashville" was actually chicken tenders and not something else. I was in a rush so when my food was ready I quickly checked in the bag just to make sure everything was there and headed to my car expecting the food was correct. I opened up what was suppose to be my chicken tenders and it ended up being a chicken sandwich. I ended up eating it since I had somewhere else I needed to be. The chicken sandwich was delicious. However, the fries failed to live up to the expectation. They were burnt and disappointingly soggy.
google avatar

Kiara H.

Yelp
One of my FAVORITE take out places in DC. I love that they use organic chicken + there aren't a bunch of preservatives. I usually get the mild chicken tenders + fries. It's very filling! Also love the lemonade (no free refills tho :( )
google avatar

Mischa J.

Yelp
Very nice place for chicken sandwiches. I was not disappointed. The sandwich was moist and they gave a generous amount of dipping sauce. There were also electrical outlets by the tables (a plus in my book). The people who were working here seem nice as well. Only problem is that there were no recycling bins for the recyclable items (as of this writing). Otherwise, all else was good.
google avatar

Dylan C.

Yelp
One of the best chain chicken spots in the DC area. Definitely a good chain fried chicken sandwich and is is comparable to Popeyes in terms of fried chicken quality. The sandwich batch I had was decent but definitely would want to go back to DC to try more of these chain spots to get a better gauge on this !
google avatar

Christopher L.

Yelp
Decent take on the Nashville Chicken Sandwich! We like our food spicy, but not overbearing that it drowns out the flavors, and the only description the cashier could give us of the level 3 "spicy" is that its spicy. We ended up going with the level 2 "medium" spicy and it was just okay in spice. Next time I would go for spicy for more kick. The fry was delicious. The chicken was a not as moist as I would like, but still very good. We got the OG Original and the BLT. Both were very good. We got medium for both, but it seemed like there was less spice on the BLT than the OG Original, so spice amount was not consistent across multiple sandwiches. We also got what they described as in house made lemonade, and it was very yummy - although they refused to offer refills even though we ate in. Overall, kinda pricey, service was just okay, but yummy food and drinks!
google avatar

Chloe S.

Yelp
This is a no-frills eatery that serves HUGE (and delicious!) chicken sandwiches! You order at the counter, then wait to hear your number and grab it and go or sit like we did (but there's not a whole bunch of tables). It's right down the block from the train station i was heading to with lots of other food and shops near by. We split the honey butter sandwich and some fries, which were handcut. Everything was fresh and delicious!!! I loved the sauces that came with the food, i especially liked the chipotle mayo tasting one. My friend wished the sandwich had more honey butter, I wished we had gotten the spicy version. Regardless, we were both more than satisfied and I wouldn't hesitate to return. My only gripe is the price tag. It was ~$18 for one sandwich and one order of fries.
google avatar

Hunter B.

Yelp
I have heard a lot of good things about this place so I had to check it out. It was a small place but there was some seating inside and out. I got the OG Nashville and decided to try the hot. The hot had a nice kick to it but was not overwhelming with heat. The chicken was a little dry but they had siracha mayo and I added that to it. Not a bad sandwich at all, probably the best non-chain chicken sandwich in the area. Definitely worth checking out.
google avatar

Kamirn C.

Yelp
Juicy everything! The nuggets were not my first choice, because I'm so over the processed nuggets in the grocery store. But omg! Perfectly juicy, breast meaty, lumps of flavor! Sauces set them off wonderfully. The club was perfect. Added cheese and made it hot! If you don't LOVE heat, try medium or mild. This was just short of over the top. So much flavor in everything. The fries were just okay. Wish they had tots. @RoamingRooster- ditch the fries and get some tots! @everyone else- check them out! (Sorry no pics. We were super hungry!)

Yelp
New chicken place in DC. When I say bomb!!? Fresh and tender I went a 11:50 pm before closing and it was immaculate. They closed at 12am and it wasn't no fuss about my order, I was soo amazed at the freshness and quality of this chicken sandwich. The bun was toasted perfectly, the chicken was crunchy and juicy but not too crunchy. I have braces. It even has cheese on it. I am soo in love. I savored every bite. Safe to say I'm going back today. As soon as they open. It was the time, quality of food, and overall taste that was satisfying. I felt like Keith Lee, 10/10 for me!

Yelp
I'm visiting from out of town and went to this location based off the reviews here on yelp. I got the fried chicken sandwich (no spicy) and I thoroughly enjoyed it along with the fries and sauces that came with it. The slaw on the sandwich is not your typical; it was good and refreshing. I'll return if I'm in DMV again.

Yelp
Forget your diet. This is a solid, mouthwatering chicken sandwich. Milkshakes were good too. I can't remember what mine was called but it was the Honey chicken sandwich or something like that. Delicious no nonsense place the young girl, taking my order was very polite.
google avatar

Yelp
Oh my gosh, this was my first time trying roaming rooster. I had heard all about it, but there's nothing better than sinking your teeth into a spicy fried chicken sandwich. Though it was a bit busy, food was served fairly fast and restaurant who is fairly clean.

Yelp
Pickup and delivery options are only available. We ordered the chicken tenders which took about 15-20 minutes to make after ordering. If you order any chicken sandwich the wait time will be much shorter. We also ordered the fries which were ok, a little soggy but the chicken was really good. They have honey mustard or sriracha for sauce options. You order whichever dish you'd like and then choose the spice level of mild medium or hot. We chose medium which had a hint of spice but wasn't burning your mouth. I can handle a decent amount of spice so this may vary per person.

Yelp
Upon arrival myself and friends were very excited to visit Roaming Rooster we had seen it on social media and also heard great things about it. However, on this past weekend as our mouths and taste buds were excited to try our eyes and brains wouldn't let us. We ordered our food and sat down to wait as we waited we witnessed a large rodent (RAT!) crawl on top on the soda machine and go do the side and disappear. Now we are very aware that DC has a terrible rodent problem but we believe that store especially food locations should take all preventative measures to ensure that don't encounters such as this one. Again, we really wanted to give a great review but just couldn't. We will give maybe another location a try. @Roamingrooster please do something about this!!

Yelp
One of my coworkers was raving about Roaming Rooster and started my cravings for it. Came to pick up to go on a Wednesday evening around 6PM and there wasn't that many people in the restaurant, pickup was very fast. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich with medium spice level and that was way too spicy for me. Honestly I believe this sandwich should be really good but it was just so spicy I couldn't taste anything else. I order food at most restaurants in medium spice level but this one was too much. I have try it again in the mild level to give a true assessment.

Yelp
Wow - I picked up takeout from Roaming Rooster last night and I can't believe it took me this long to try it. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich which was topped with coleslaw and pickles (I requested extra pickles and they delivered). I appreciated that they allow you to choose the spice level. I chose medium and next time I would probably go with hot - there wasn't a huge kick to it. However, the sandwich was still extremely flavorful and I loved the slaw on top. It was huge too! I also ordered a side of fries which had a large portion size as well. All for $14 with tip, I believe. I think this place is well on its way to being my favorite takeout spot.

Yelp
Chicken sandwiches here are some of the best in the state! Highly recommended! I consider myself a chicken sandwich connoisseur so this is a great review :-)
