Katie and Ryan took good care of us tonight at the boot We were greeted and promptly seated. Katie told us a few of her favorites on the menu they loaded fries with green chili was flavorful and delicious, The gluten-free pizza had nice mushrooms and pepperoni and with a crisp crust. You salad that they brought us with the balsamic vinaigrette on the side was also delicious cucumbers tomatoes sliced fresh Parmesan hit the spot. The Philly cheese steak was delicious as well and came with abundant french fries. Had the grannies upside down apple pie it was delicious. We ordered too much food for two people. We also got two pizzas to go which were very reasonably priced pepperoni and jalapeno. The atmosphere is nice can watch sports and the trees are all around looking out the window. Nice surprise for an onsite restaurant. Not sure why all of the less than five star reviews but this place was great good food and reasonably priced. Super grateful to have good food ask for Katie she's super sweet. 🙏

My favourite bar that I visited on my six day visit to the area . Absolutely loved the experience of sitting outside on the terrace being warmed up by the long fire table and enjoying the views of the skiers reaching the bottom of the slopes. Service was impeccable and considering the location the draft beer prices were very reasonable. Originally we only stopped in for a quick drink but ended up staying a lot longer. Can’t wait to return.

Bought the Chicken, Elk and Sausage Gumbo they had as a special the weekend of July 19th. Took it home for my husband. He LOVED it. Said it was the best Gumbo he's had and that says a lot as my family is from Louisiana. The patio is great for the views and relative quiet. Our waitress, Aspen, was sweet and accommodating. It was a great afternoon.

We stopped by Robbie's Tavern during our summer vacation at Peak 8, hoping for a good meal with the mountain views. The location at the top of the mountain is convenient, and the greeter welcomed us with a friendly smile when we arrived. Unfortunately, the service experience went downhill from there. Our server took about five minutes to approach our table after we were seated, and seemed to have an attitude right from the start. She didn't explain any menu items when we had questions, and after we said we were ready to order, she walked away to get water and disappeared for another five minutes. When she finally returned to take our order, she was impatient that she had to tell us twice about choosing sides for our dishes. After that, we never saw her again - other staff members delivered our food and brought the check. The food itself was okay for mountain dining. We tried the Bill's Homemade Red Chili, Curried Chicken Wrap, and Blackened Salmon. Nothing was particularly impressive, but it was acceptable given the location. The payment process was also uncomfortable - they hand you a device and stand there watching while you select a tip percentage, which felt awkward. The restaurant has potential with its prime location, but the service training needs serious improvement. A smile and basic customer service would go a long way toward making this a better dining experience for skiers looking to refuel on the mountain.

Google
Really good bar food with a good variety of drinks! I highly recommend the red chilli fries, they are so delicious 😋 the staff was really nice and welcoming. The cheese steak sandwich was good but I wouldn't consider it a Philly cheese steak if you know what I mean. The salads are really good though, very fresh and dressed appropriately.

Google
This place is awesome if you find yourself up on Peak 8! We stayed at one of the hotels up there, and ended up eating at Robbie’s twice. Both times the service was great; both our servers were so nice and interactive with our kids and us. The food is great, portions are large. We will definitely be back!

Google
We had a great time here and had some great food as well!!! Cindy was our bartender and she was amazing!!! I watched her work with a customer on specialty drinks and she helped us make the perfect food choices. We got here right as the slopes were closing and were able to sit and watch the slopes get groomed. It is a pretty cheap Uber back to our place. Cannot complain and will def be back in the next few days to try the cheesesteak…. We saw one, huge and looked great. We split the salmon sandwich. Amazing! Try it!!!

Google
Overall really enjoyed Robbie's Tavern! The prices are not bad for the typical bar food. I got the cheesesteak and my friends got the pulled pork and the flatbread. We sat out on the patio and the weather was great! The food was good , especially my cheesesteak! I do wish the flatbread had a little more toppings because it felt like eating mostly bread. The fries were great but I didn't try the pulled pork. And our server was tremendous as well, making sure we were well taken care of. I'd definitely go back!

Yelp
Horrible attitude and courtesy !!!!! when waitresses approach us they always talk like they don't want you there. they roll their eyes. not the best experience. I would not recommend but again only a few restaurants in the mountains maybe that's why they are acting like that . If your entire party is not there even if you are only missing one person they wont sit you even though the restaurant has plenty of tables. what !!!! Crazy but the party next to me they gave the table and the rest of their family shows up one hour later. Double standards Food ok nothing different . Ambiance nice you can see the ski mountain

Yelp
Pros - Right by the end if you run on Peak 8. Excellent green chili cheese fries. Cons - Hostesses try to be jerks on purpose for no reason. There are tons of tables, not one or two, multiple open tables inside and out. But they will still put you on a waitlist. If you inquire why this is happening they will make you feel like the idiot. Good luck getting your waitress to come back too. I will never return. Everyone around Breck is SO nice and accommodating. Never again.

Yelp
The service and food were surprisingly very good. You figure you are going to get the regular bar menu, but they turn it up a notch. The buffalo wrap was really good!! Service was great!

Yelp
Nice place for a beer or two at the base of Peak 8. We enjoyed some beers, some yummy pretzel sticks, and played some cards on a nice day. There are worse ways to pass a Sunday afternoon.

Yelp
Unbeatable view from this restaurant! We had the pleasure of sitting outside at one of the tables with a fireplace. The service was prompt and staff were friendly. We enjoyed appetizers and drinks that were quite good. Definitely recommend their mozzarella sticks! After being sat and beginning our meal, two other parties were sat at this table. Although they were polite and it was completely fine, it would have been nice to know that there was communal seating before they joined us.

Yelp
This place is an awesome spot to pop in, warm up, and have a bite to eat / have a beer!! This is our go-to spot when we're skiiign at breck! If it's a sunny day and the porch is open, I highly recommend grabbing a beer and watching people come down the hill. I got the Bloody Mary with a side car and it was pretty good! I would've liked a bit spicier but it was still enjoyable. we also got the cheesesteak and it was massive and delicious. Lots of flavor with peppers and onions!

Yelp
Great burger and fries. Well done chicken wings (don't you hate it when they aren't cooked enough?) that could easily be a full meal. Good service both times we have eaten here. It is a good fast meal with comfortable seats, in a friendly place, without going in to town after a full day on Peak 8.
google avatar

Kamryn M.

Yelp
Robbie's had amazing service! Despite the huge crowds due to the location they had great food and delivered within a decent time. This is more on the pricey side, but it is convenient being so close to the slopes

Yelp
Pretty neat place to eat or drink at the base of Peak 8. My friend and I sat on the patio and had cocktails while sharing a pizza. Both were delicious and they have serve yourself water, which is nice. The view was fun to people watch but it was a hot day, and we were seated at the fireplace which the counter is black, so we had to avoid touching it to get burned. Other than that, it was a nice experience. Be prepared for a wait as there are very few places to eat in the area and everyone is hungry from all the adventures! Note: they will not seat incomplete parties, even if they are in the restroom.

Yelp
The food and the service were great. It's a great place near the ski resorts near peak 7/8. The staff was friendly and responsive. The cost was reasonable given the location so really not really anything negative about this place.
google avatar

CritDicks `.

Yelp
"Let's go on the gondola, let's go on the gondola, let's go on the gondola", the Grandkids clambered. "OK, we're at the top of the gondola, what now?", I responded. A look around and there's like two things to do up here if you are not skiing. Go in the ski shop that really has mostly rental equipment, but nothing to buy, or go get a beer at Robbie's. "let's go get a beer", I holler. Robbie's service team got us 10 seated in two adjacent tables, but had reasonable limitations on how we could divide the bill. "That table and this table separately, or everything all together. I sat at he drinkers table. Our tab was much higher. Then, just as are ready to head out, everyone orders drinks for the road. "Wow!, order two more for us here". "I guess we can walk around with these". Robbie's had a tasty green pork chili that was especially liked by our table as they continually dipped chunks of the optional tasty bread bowl. A lot of people everywhere walking through, around and inside of this very busy stop. A must try. Dicks

Yelp
Very happy with our experience at Robbie's Tavern. The hostess and server were pleasant. We had the chicken wings and cheesesteak sub. Everything was hot and delicious!

Yelp
Beautiful patio right on the slopes. Great place to cozy up after a few runs or just watching sports on a ski in ski out day!

Yelp
Good food, beef stew is great on a ski day. Fun atmosphere with good service. Pro tip on busy day get on list and take another run.

Yelp
The waiter that served us was rude and just handed us our menus and walked away, then our waiter got our order wrong and charged us extra. Food was decent

Yelp
Try the chicken wings the sauce is fire! Best place to hang out after skiing or just to hang and look at the view.

Yelp
It was our last day visiting Breck and we wanted to eat "on mountain" after a day of skiing/riding. So glad we chose this place! Very conveniently located- a quick walk from our resort, and the atmosphere was EXACTLY what we were looking for: cozy, comfortable and chill. The menu had such a vast display of options and everything looked so good! I ordered the Grilled chicken club with a side salad (GC4) and hubby ordered Cip's Cheesesteak with a mini Caesar salad. Our salads were super fresh and actually bigger than we expected. Hubs ordered his caesar dressing on the side, and they were able to do it! A lot of restaurants say the dressing is already mixed in to the Caesar salad, so it was a nice that they were able to do that- also showed that the salad was being made fresh . My sandwich was so incredible- huge piece of chicken breast which was super succulent and a generous helping of bacon and honey mustard. The fresh soft brioche bun wrapped up the sandwich perfectly. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed his cheesesteak. Super large serving and savory taste. But that didn't stop us from ordering dessert and a scotch for him. All I can say is: ORDER GRANNY'S UPSIDE DOWN APPLE PIE. It might be the best dessert I've ever had in my life. Served obviously homemade, hot with french vanilla ice cream. The crust was incredible- it was sweet and had a different consistency- like bits of crystallized sugar in every bite. I literally wanted to lick the plate after we finished it. Oh, it's definitely a share dessert too! Our server was super- friendly, kind and patient! Highly recommend this establishment!

Yelp
Obviously the view of the slopes is a big plus. Downhill (no pun) from here. Server displayed no virtues if what a "server" should be. At a very minimum, enthusiasm, friendliness, and having even a nominal idea of what the difference is between a good server and a bad one and hopefully she ascribes to the former. She did not. Maybe new? Okay, I will always give them some slack. But if she has no clue what she is doing I believe she is either a poor hire or the "management" has no clue how to train. Uh huh. What else? A cold beer is supposed to be...cold. If I ordered a craft beer and wanted to unlock the flavor profile perhaps I'd try what the Brits do:cellar-room temp-- but not Corona. Dried out lime wedge. Thanks. Please do not order the wings. These were incinerated or triple-fried. Meager number. Expensive (add insult to injury). And two sauces were benign and devoid of spirit. Of course server disappeared. Helloooo? Management better realize there are a lot of better alternatives within a stones throw. And, take your time when hiring--good people exist!

Yelp
The seating policies and hostess are horrible. Food is actually half way decent but I won't be coming back! Shitty service!

Kelly A.

Yelp
The food stuff was good, and so were the drinks, but they don't allow someone who joins your party later because they were out skiing/snowboarding to order anything without requesting an additional table. This is a fundamentally stupid system because I could order food for myself and for the later arriving member of our party, but my late party member couldn't order for himself. Additionally, you can request a new table on the basis of the fact that you have a new table member while waiting at the old table. We were told we would have to request a new table if our late-arriving member wanted to eat. I guess they want us to spend money elsewhere, and you should, too, if you have plenty members who actually want to ski/snowboard. Plus the paper straws suck.

Shannon P.

Yelp
Amazing views, quick and friendly service despite it being very busy. Would recommend sitting outside if possible. Great place to watch those skiing and snowboarding.

Yelp
The coolest aspect of this place is the location at the top of the mountain. You can take the free Gondola ride up and dine. We were a party of 7, wait time was around 20 minutes so not bad. We were seated in a long big oversized booth and had plenty of room. The food was good, nothing out of the ordinary special or worth over raving about, just good. The Kraft Mac n cheese is kid friendly not gourmet macaroni which is good for picky eaters. Although, the kids meals are overpriced, the adult meals are fairly priced for the area. We had a good experience and would probably be back if we visited with a different group.

John P.

Yelp
In reading your reviews. You need to work on your work culter as my experience was not what an owner of this place would expect and in looking at other reviews this is consistent with your entire team. So sad with a location like this and a clientele that expects simple quality
google avatar

Janet D.

Yelp
If you frequent Breckenridge to ski chances are you have been to this spot. Location is towards the back of Grand CO on Peak 8. Facing the slopes! Munch while you watch the activities below. Perfect location whatever the season is. It serves the ski loving crowd or the summer lovin' ones. Locally owned slope side bistro. Awesome view! Just this weekend we enjoyed two of our personal favorites: Cheesesteak and The Cheeseburger. The former has thinly sliced sirloin steak, gooey American cheese (lots of them), onions, peppers, on Amoroso Bun. Of course with a side of my very own fries. The Cheeseburger was pretty simple and yet it was a knockout. Loaded with bacon on top of the juicy patty and cheese. With a side of fries. I would order both again in a heartbeat. In fact, this is my second time to order the Cheesesteak. We were about to enjoy a post hike meal on the outside bar when it rained. An easy transition to an inside location. Great staff.

Dee T.

Yelp
Our server Sarah was amazing. We came up for cocktails and dessert since we had just eaten in town. Sarah suggested Granny's Upside Down Apple Pie-delicious!!!! Next visit we'll make sure to have dinner, desert and will definitely ask for Sarah
google avatar

Aida B.

Yelp
We dined at Robbies last night, and the food selection and the service were great. We had a taco salad, Philly cheese steak sandwich, burgers, and everything tested amazing. The server was very attentive, funny, and respectful. Will definitely be back when we are back at Breckenridge.
google avatar

Sybil B.

Yelp
We had dinner here before leaving the resort. We were seated quickly and didn't wait long for our food. The apple cream sauce on the pork was delicious! The vegetables were seasoned well, and the mashed potatoes were moist and just enough butter. My husband had the Philadelphia cheesesteak sandwich with coleslaw. He loved the coleslaw, and the sandwich was okay.
google avatar

Josie J.

Yelp
By far the best place to grab food on the mnt. While it does get back we ended up waiting roughly 20 mins to be seated. Which wasn't bad. Once we were seated our waitress maddy came over right away and took out drink order. She was super attentive and just over all great. The food also came out extremely fast. And I do have to say that they are not shy about portion size. We had way to much for just the 2 of us and ended up not even finishing all of it. While the price is more on the expensive side. The food quality does make up for it. Would absolutely go here again.

Karen B.

Yelp
Water took 30 minutes to come. And when we were paying the server asked for tip. If I was paying there would have been no tip at all. Food was decent, apple pie was very cinnamon. Server was great until end. Hot chocolate was expired, how do I know you May ask it was VERY SOUR and a lil CHUNKY. Not recommended for anyone.

Brent C.

Yelp
We were staying at Grand Peak 8 so this is very convenient, but the food was just ok. It's outrageously priced, as most things are in the mountains, but I would have expected more for the prices.
google avatar

Simon C.

Yelp
Best spot at the base of the mountain for food and drinks! Patio is amazing if it's available but inside is a vibe too. Cocktails are worth every penny of $17, great espresso martinis and old fashioneds. Our server Andrea was the best, made the entire experience far better. She deserves a raise! Will definitely be back here every time I visit Breckenridge
google avatar

Brian H.

Yelp
Where do I start? This place has been a solid stop the last year for my friends and I. Truly can't name a better staff than what they have. If you wonder where there values come from, just read the menu about "Rob". If you get Robbie, you get this place. Come here. Come here. Come here. Well managed, well executed. Great staff. Talk to Freddy, he is the best. Get to know him and others. You will be better for it.

Ryder B.

Yelp
To the server who served us you know who you are. Meet me at the top of peak 8, Colorado super chair 11 am sharp . You were very rude to us at the end. Not needed

Ethan B.

Yelp
The worst service i've ever had she was mad that I didn't tip enough when I was debating on even tipping. she was an incompetent idiot and deserves to be fired. she is around 30 and has blonde hair.

Charlotte S.

Yelp
Came here for a third time and cannot caution AGAINST this place enough. two members of my family have celiac/severe gluten allergies. Horrible experiences all THREE times, each six months apart. this last time server said the menu items LABELED GF (such as Chili) are actually not safe for anyone with an intolerance or allergy. said the flatbread was cooked on the same surface but "the heat will kill the gluten" (clearly no allergy training as this is not protocol). All you can get here is some lettuce and dressing for 17-20$. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, so many better options in Breckenridge that won't kill those with food allergies; it's such a shame as this location would be convenient to skiers but is overpriced and untrustworthy. I truly hope they can create better and safer allergen protocols.
google avatar

Lauren H.

Yelp
I'll be back for sure on this stay! I was craving a salad, and I am a sucker for taco salads! I ordered mine with chicken instead of ground beef. It was delicious! It hit the spot! It was a huge serving too! I had some leftovers which never happens when I eat a salad. The fries were nice and crispy, and they had the good ranch! Next time I want to try the Philly cheesesteak sandwich.
google avatar

Steph B.

Yelp
Take the Gondola and enjoy a meal and libations at Robbie's Tavern. We were recommended here as a fun lunch place by the conciliar our lodge and it turned out alright. The food and beverage menus have a Americana selection of hot plates and unique mixers. Or go like me and have a hot cocoa! We found both our plates, the steak sandwich and the taco plate were loaded to the point of "can't go further"

Jessica J.

Yelp
Recently sat at the bar for afternoon cocktails and food. The bar service from Cindy will keep me coming back. Although it was busy, she was attentive and friendly. She made the experience!
google avatar

Sabine F.

Yelp
We are here the first day of our stay. I think the time made a difference. We only ordered an appetizer, but we had enough left over to take with us. We told the waiter to pack it up. Guess what? They threw it away. We were upset and never came back during our stay.
google avatar

Christina V.

Yelp
Upon entry you could see this place was busy, short staffed, but doing the best they could do. My family of 5 was sat right away and we got some excellent service from our waiter. The kids had mozzarella sticks and a cheese pizza. I enjoyed the chili cheese fries which NEVER lets me down. My husband had some stew of sorts and said it was ok. We left happy, satisfied, and feeling good about our choice. Fast forward later that evening and husband was not feeling so well. He woke up the next day feeling worse and the only thing he ate the day before was the stew. Since the rest of us were fine we think the stew sat too long or maybe had something not ok in it. Unfortunately, good food or not this will be a no go moving forward. No one wants to eat and get stomach issues. Sorry I want to give a good score but this was the nail on the coffin.

Yelp
Stunning and SPECTACULAR Views with outdoor fire pits at the base of the Peak 8 gondola. What's not to like about a SPECTACULAR pub at the base of Breckenridge Grand Colorado ski area? Phenomenal food, salads and amazing beverages (Highland Park 12 Scotch) topped off with incredible service by Nasiya, Rich and Dreadlocked Adam. What are you waiting for?
google avatar

Robert J.

Yelp
The Cip Cheesesteak is da bomb. They make good fries too! Nice selection of beer too.
google avatar

Cynthia D.

Yelp
Tried to place carry out order. They do not answer phone but directed to do online order on their website. It was not working. Walked down and had to order at the bar. Extremely frustrating. Menu is pretty limited but I must add they did have large servings and the pretzel sticks were very good. Overpriced mountain food at best.
google avatar

Jordan C.

Yelp
While visiting Breckenridge, CO we visited here a few times. The first night was simply for dinner, which included chicken tenders for me (okay). However, the second time was solely for drinks and admittedly was a much better experience primarily because of our server, Cindy! Cindy was incredibly friendly and truly made the full experience worth all the while! She not only made great drink recommendations (thank you again for recommending the Black Russian!) but also recommended several items on the menu which we normally would not have selected ourselves. The two that stick out the most are the Reese's Peanut Butter Pie and the Granny's Upside Down Apple Pie. BOTH were absolutely delicious and we even ended up getting some to go! Cindy is truly GREAT and a huge thank you again to her service that evening!

Bill H.

Yelp
Great location from where we weee staying. Place was very nice. Everyone's food was good. I had the wings, the wings themselves were good but they only had 1 sauce and it wasn't buffalo some sort of thousand island dressing sauce. I was not a fan of that sauce. But everyone else enjoyed their meal
google avatar

Ryan F.

Yelp
Every year we make a trip out west, in the years we hit breck you better believe we are also hitting Robbie's when we are on the mountain! We even bought one of their awesome mugs!
google avatar

Richard D.

Yelp
The chicken wings were the best I've ever had! With a view of the ski slope, the atmosphere is hard to beat. Our server was very attentive and accommodating for our first time at Robbie's.

Morganne M.

Yelp
We decided to check out the Tavern after reading decent reviews. We just wanted a snack and drinks while waiting for the rest of our group to ride the rollercoaster. We opted for the chips, salsa and cheese dip. How can you go wrong!? Well, you can. It was straight up Tostitos from a jar with restaurant style chips for $17. The margaritas were also subpar. We were then told if we wanted water, it was "self serve" out of the water jug. We absolutely will not be back and the only reason for the 3rd star is because the view is really great.
