Best place to stroll, exercise, people watch and relax. Pristine garden with the most gorgeous flowers in the city. Plenty of benches or grass lawns to sit. Waterfront, sunset and statue of liberty views are a bonus

A very interesting park full of hidden gems to do and see. My favorite is the view of the Statue of Liberty 🗽 on a clear day across the water. The park itself has many places to sit, gardens, art fixtures, playground areas, and people fishing. Directly next to the Pier A clock tower area, and connected on the other side to Hudson River Park, Little Island, and Chelsea area.

One of my favourite places to visit and watch the sun go down over the Jersey City shoreline in the Summer. There are also good views of the Statue of Liberty and places to eat nearby. This place is planned for re-delevopment in late summer 2022 to add flood defences and so will be closed for a few years :(

Spacious, green, biking paths, history...❤ I did not notice bathrooms. I did see a food truck. Plenty of room to socially distance and enjoy the outdoors and an excellent spot to watch a sunset if not cloudy like when I was there.

One of the best parks in New York City. Great views and places to eat. Great place to ride your bike, have a picnic or just enjoy the beautiful river view.

Absolutely beautiful. So peaceful and relaxing. These pictures were taken right before the storm came in. People were dancing in the rain and so was I, lol. I love this place, it is so beautiful.

Wagner Park is a beautiful spot at the bottom of Manhattan with a great view of the Statue of Liberty. Nice place to walk and just sit down and relax.

Great place for a walk, run or fishing next to the Hudson River at the New York harbor. On this spot, you can view Statue of Liberty as well as Jersey City skyline. As to fishing, this is one of the best spots for Hudson striper fishing during Spring and Fall Striper run. Hudson River has getting cleaner, and striper migration population is getting healthier. Nowhere on earth you can find such a great fishery next to such a mega metropolitan.

South Cove Park is such a great park, offering breathtaking views of the Hudson River and New Jersey across the way and the best part? You can even see the Statue of Liberty! My runs on the west side usually consists of starting at Pier 57 and running down to South Cove Park before looping back and the shade provided by the big trees in the South Cove Park is always so appreciated. The park is always incredibly well maintained and its typically not as crowded as other parts of the Westside Highway. It's a lovely oasis, making it one of my favorite segments on the run!

Beautiful waterfront Park designed for locals and tourists. fantastic waterside promenade with seating and beautiful blue lanterns.

Cute spot with lovely trees, the waters, a mini bridge, etc. The best part? There is "Drawing in the Park" Sept-Oct, May-July from 10am-noon. My boo and I stumbled upon it and saw all the artists at work. We were able to grab some paper, and take however much chalk/paint/etc we wanted. And so, we sat down on a bench, and painted/drew away. What a romantic date idea! :P I'm uploading a pic with the info :)

I like this little gem. It's private, romantic, underrated and offers lovely views across the Hudson river. Also, it's the south gateway of the Esplanade, which is a beautiful stroll along the side of the river all the way up to Governor Nelson A Rockefeller Park on Chambers Street. Recommended.

It has an overlook where you can walk up some stairs and scope out the view. There is also a promenade which yields an adequate view of water. It is relieving. There is not much sitting space, but it is great for a stroll. I like staring at the water, taking in the architecture, staring at the clouds in the sky, and just breathing in fresh air here.

Really nice stretch along the Hudson that doesn't seem overrun with people. Granted, I went when it was cold and raining but still pleasant, regardless. It is a dog-free area FYI and they host events nearby for the kid-centric demographic of Tribeca (baby yoga, why?) and also free drawing and drawing supplies every Saturday morning at 10 most of the year. It's a relaxing atmosphere with the water rushing under the piers, a view of Jersey City and the smell of the river. Not the sewage/dead fish smell. The good one. They light the piers and walkways nicely at night which I tried to post pics of (I need a better camera). Nice date or lunching/reading spot.

Dog free park. Besides not being able to bring your best pal here, this is a wonderful park to really relax after a long day of work. It runs along the water and there are PLENTY of benches to sit on and enjoy the view of the sun, water, and cruising boats. Lots of people are strolling around with their children and babies, there are lots of bikers, joggers, and onlookers of the waterfront. There are lots of trees for shade and it creates a a nice sense of nature. South Cove is also very clean. It has a good amount of traffic, but it isn't overrun with people. In addition, I've noticed that there's security patrol, water fountains all around, nearby Citibikes for convenience, and a even a restaurant on location (Liberty Riverview Restaurant).

Lovely little park and walkway along the Hudson offering up unobstructed views of Lady Lib and New Jerz. It's a little bit farther walk from Battery Park and Bowling Green which makes it a lot less crowded at lunch time - but its so worth the couple extra minutes to get here.

A small but wonderful park in the city. Very few crowds here even though it offers some amazing views of Jersey City and the Statue of Liberty. The trees and plants are beautiful and the esplanade has a great Japanese fekel to it with the gates. Wonderful place to relax and find some peace.

So peaceful here and the views are stunning. I love being on the water in this pleasant little spot. When you face the water you feel transported as you look out towards Jersey City. Don't know why its not more crowded. Don't tell anyone but this a great place to relax and just take a moment out of your otherwise busy day. Often sunny and hot but I like it.

There's a nice circular-shaped pier that you can sit at. Although the sun can be scorching with barely any cover, you can sit along the esplanade to get some shade and watch the choppy water crash into the docks. A lot of people walk through this area, so South Cove Park is nothing more than to take a short break. If you're looking to relax, venture a little further south to Robert F. Wagner Jr. Park.

Really nice park along the water whose name recognition suffers compared to those surrounding it.
