"Robert Irvine’s Public House opened in 2017 and touted a laundry list of extravagant implementations for Public House. The chef claimed it would reflect his international travels and that the space was built for TV shoots. Seven years later, the restaurant was never part of a television show, the menu never got more worldly or ambitious than a Margherita pizza, and the promises of an engaged chef were short-lived." - Janna Karel

"After almost 17 months with the doors closed, Robert Irvine’s Public House returns to the Las Vegas dining scene on Thursday, July 1, at the Tropicana. Irvine, the host of Restaurant: Impossible and other Food Network programs, puts his celebrity chef spin on American pub cuisine at the 9,000-square-foot restaurant featuring 275 seats. The menu, the same served at lunch and dinner, gives fans a look into Irvine’s travels with a focus on comfort foods. Beer-battered fish and chips come with Kennebec fries while other options include bourbon maple salmon, dry-rubbed Spatchcock half chicken, St. Louis rIbs by the half and full rack, steak Frits, and Shepherds pie with lamb. Burgers, sandwiches, sharable dishes, and apps make the menu as well. For dessert, English banoffee pie with espresso ice cream is the way to go." - Susan Stapleton

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chef Robert Irvine's Public House, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere that set the tone for a memorable evening. The menu at Chef Robert Irvine's Public House is a true testament to his culinary expertise. Each dish is carefully crafted with a perfect balance of flavors. The attention to detail is evident in every bite, leaving your taste buds dancing with joy. Two of the standout dishes I tried was the wings and sliders. Both were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The quality of the ingredients used was top-notch, and the execution was flawless. The margaritas are delectable! The service at Chef Robert Irvine's Public House was exceptional. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable experience. The ambiance of the restaurant is another highlight. The modern yet cozy decor creates a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends, family, or even for a special date night. Overall, my experience at Chef Robert Irvine's Public House was outstanding. The combination of delectable food, exceptional service, and inviting ambiance makes it a must-visit for any food enthusiast. Whether you're a fan of Chef Robert Irvine or simply looking for an unforgettable dining experience, this restaurant is sure to exceed your expectations. I can't wait to return and explore more of the culinary wonders that Chef Irvine has to offer.

My husband and I ate at Public House several times while staying at Tropicana this past week. Our meals were fabulous every time. I loved the burger with bacon and recommend the loaded tots. I also recommend the all-American breakfast and enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. I recommend eating at the Public House when visiting the Tropicana. Julian, one of the bartenders, was very friendly and absolutely the best!

Kiki our server was top notch. She went over the menu and and made recommendations. The menu is small but enough choices for a party of different palates. Appetizer was loaded tots. Hot and great BBQ beef toppings. 4/5 Chicken salad was a good size but lacked chicken and toppings. 3/5The BLT lacked the B and the bread was too thick and over toasted with clarified butter. A lightly toasted chewier bread would have been better. At almost $20 I felt the BLT was the weakest item we had ordered, I wish it had came with fresh hand cut fries for that price. 3/5 The pizza was not bad, my son thoroughly enjoyed it and he is picky about pizza.4/5 The best item was the chef special Indian curry. Rich aroma and flavor, could be on par with a curry shop in the UK. 5/5

My mom and I had a great dinner at Public House last night during our staycation at the Tropicana. Our server, Kiki, was friendly and attentive to us. We enjoyed the ribs, pastrami sandwich with fries, potato and cheese soup, and loaded tater tots with bacon. I even liked the cole slaw even though I normally don't eat it. Our compliments to the bartender for the yummy lemondrop martinis we ordered during Happy Hour! We almost got the sundae for dessert, but they ran out of ice cream. The cheesecake we had made up for it. We hope to see Public House reopen at another property on the Strip. We would visit again. Thanks for everything!

Google
Was truly a pleasant surprise. We had our hearts set on buffet but found out the ones we wanted to go to are now closed mid afternoon! So walked back to Tropicana & this restaurant was open. Our server, Pettine, was a breath of fresh air. His heart was in what he did. What a refreshing change to see! Their pretzel is a MUST!!! I will always treasure the memory of that appetizer! Most wonderful pretzel I have ever ate. We had the fish & chips and their margherita pizza.

Robert Irvine’s Public House is a great place to have a meal located inside the Tropicana hotel and casino. We had lunch at the bar and shared the shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were large and very delicious. We had the shaved beef sandwich which was amazing and is more or less a great Philly cheesesteak. The pastrami sandwich was also great but if I had to choose I would get the shaved steak sandwich again. The sandwiches come with fries or tater tots. I would recommend the tater tots. They were cooked perfectly and crisp. There is a good selection of beers. Not the best Bloody Mary, but plenty of other options.

We waited a little bit to be served, but once they got to us the service was good. I enjoyed my burger and fries. My husband thought the white pizza lacked flavor. The restaurant overall was nice, chill and relaxed environment. Comfortable chairs!

Google
First time at Robert Irvine's Public House located inside Tropicana. Our server was very nice and took our order quickly. My cocktail came out about the same time as our meal, so that is why service got 4 stars instead of 5. The food was delicious and so was Miss Pat's margarita!

Yelp
This is an American restaurant located inside of the Tropicana resort on the Las Vegas strip. I was pleasantly surprised by how modern and clean the restaurant was given the fact it is in such an old resort. The restaurant was more than accommodating and help me set up a reservation for 20 people weeks ahead of time. On Saturdays and Sundays there is a brunch menu that even has brunch cocktails. I opted for the pancakes which were delicious and I could not finish them. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and the wait staff was very friendly. Shout out to Kiki who was our amazing waitress.

Yelp
Exceeded our expectations My wife and I are staying at the Tropicana. This morning we decided to eat in the casino rather than go out where we believed we could get better food at a better value. We were pleasantly surprised. When we arrived, lorna greeted us with a pleasant smile and cheerful demeanor. She took us to our table where Scott was our server. Scott is an excellent waiter. Scott was very pleasant and knowledgeable in the menu. In addition to that he was able to take some time and answer our non-restaurant related questions which we appreciated. Laura, who is the coffee girl made sure that our cups were always full. We drink a lot of coffee so we really appreciate it not having to ask. She always came around. As far as the food goes, We expected a basic low level food we went to Denny's or some low end diner. We were pleasantly surprised without flavorful. The food was so chef. Maybe it's because we didn't expect much, but we were pleasantly surprised with this experience so we felt like it deserved a good yelp review.

Yelp
The CHIPS were better than the FISH... Awesome staff, great beer selection, comfortable space with lots of well placed seating. I just didn't dig Mr Irvine's riff on a very simple comfort food. The slaw was soggy and flacid, the tartar sauce (aioli or whatever) was unnecessarily garlicky and unpleasant. Fish was tasty but very greasy; I picked off most of the batter. The fries were the star for me and I'm not a big potato guy.

Jennifer C. L.

Yelp
This place is as good as they say.., They are located in Tropicana and they are as great as advertised... I'be picked up twice to take up food to the room and they have not disappointed. I ordered the following and they were top notch overall. -BLACKENED SALMON $29 (YUM!) -MARGHERITA PIZZA $18 (STANDARD) -PUBLIC HOUSE BURGER $22 (YUM!) Ordered again: BLACKENED SALMON $29 (YUM!) -STEAK FRITES $44 (YUM! Cooks More Over...Asked for medium rare and got more Medium but still delicious) -SIGNATURE BRISKET PASTRAMI $19 withd TATOR TOTS (YUM!) My server at the bar with the big beard was top notch! Very accommodating and just simply kind! Can't ask for more!

Yelp
I recently dined at Robert Irvine's Public House in the Tropicana casino/hotel, and my experience had its ups and downs. The good news is that we were seated promptly, and our food arrived remarkably fast, which is always a plus. I opted for the Bucatini with Pesto w/ chicken, and I must say it was a nice choice. The flavors were enjoyable and satisfying. However, there was a notable letdown with the grilled asparagus on the side. The stems were tough and stringy, making them quite difficult to enjoy. In summary, Robert Irvine's Public House offers speedy service and some tasty dishes like the Bucatini with Pesto, but the inconsistency in the quality of the side dishes, like the asparagus, left me with mixed feelings about the overall dining experience.

Jessica H.

Yelp
I have loved Robert Irvine for years and I know this is a casino hotel but damn Robert; $6 for an ice tea!? The French toast was some of the best I ever had but again 5 berries? The menu reads like you get a bit more and again sticker shock at $17. What was absolutely impeccable was the 5 star service and I wish that ice tea cost less or this whole review would be 5 stars.

Tim K.

Yelp
Good thing this restaurant is a whole lot better experience than the hotel. It's been many years since my last stay here and although the hotel has gone downhill immensely, this restaurant was very good. There's a very nice friendly staff throughout the restaurant. You might not expect much from breakfast here but the omelette was pretty good. They do offer a few options of premade omelettes. You cannot switch or alter any ingredients on those predetermined choices however, there is a choice where you can build your own. Adding five ingredients, including cheese gets a little pricey, but the omelette was excellent. It came out in short order and was still warm. The sides include potatoes, which were very good and choice of toast. I went with the Texas toast as recommended by the server, and it was outstanding. You get slightly below average side ingredients, but they are fresh.

Yelp
We went to say goodbye to the Tropicana and just had a simple white pizza as a snack. It was good, the restaurant was nice and clean. It's just so sad to see how the trop has closed almost everything else. The staff at the casino definitely doesn't care any more but the restaurant was different. Everyone was nice and more upbeat. It was empty until we got there and then it picked up, around 1pm

Jon N.

Yelp
Super looking spot in a sorry looking Resort and Casino. The food wasn't outstanding, but it was good. It's the first Robert Irvine spot I've tried, and it honestly met expectations. On his shows, he comes across, to me, as a chef that has a MUCH higher opinion of himself than what he actually delivers. I had the Pastrami sandwich with fries, and it was fine. My wife had an omelet, and it was good. Service was good. They could have been a bit more attentive, but were friendly and always came over when we asked.

Miatsu K.

Yelp
This is the primary restaurant inside the Tropicana. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. It's very expensive, being the signature restaurant inside a casino/hotel but you really do get your moneys worth. The portions are huge and the staff is exceptionally professional and polite. The breakfast was basically free with out 15 dollars per person Hilton Diamond credit so we never missed a breakfast there. We had dinner there once in a large group and that went off without a hitch. The salmon was especially good and I enjoyed it very much. The place is clean and relaxed and we never waited to be seated. The food came out hot and fresh within ten minutes of ordering it. I was impressed and would gladly eat there again. I wish it was open at night as well like most other casino/hotel restaurants.

Van C.

Yelp
Odd location. Located inside of the Tropicana. But don't let that steer you clear. Here's why. Upon walking in I was greeted immediately. The staff is very nice and quick to attend. The place was fairly busy for being in the middle of the week and off season. It was about 121F outside. Not a time people are in vegas often. However this place was a good choice. Being a fan of Chef Irving's food. I had to try it. And let me tell you. I was not disappointed. The food came out fairly quickly. Bolognese. Thick egg noodles rich with flavor. Cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was VERY tasty and not overly seasoned with salt at all. I actually added more salt for myself and more cheese. Which is good! They serve it to you seasoned well but or overbearing ruining the food. I'd highly recommend this dish if you like pasta. The salad. The bacon was actually crisp. The eggs and veggies were fresh. Lots of dressing options as well. So would I recommend this place? Absolutely. You can't go wrong. Why did I give it 4 stars instead of 5? Well it is located inside a large hotel and casino. With open concept into the casino. So it smells like cigarettes and can be kinda loud. Just be aware.

Michael J.

Yelp
One of my favorite breakfast spots in Las Vegas. I typically sit up at the bar. Bartenders, generally, are very attentive and friendly. With the anticipated closure and demolition of the Tropicana sometime in the next year, I sure hope Robert Irvine decides to and finds a good landing spot to relocate to. He has something good here worth retaining somewhere in Las Vegas.

Yelp
Food: 3.5. Came by for a Thurs early dinner. This place is located at Tropicana Las Vegas. We were greeted promptly and directed to a table. We ordered their Shaved Steak Sandwich (includes fries) and Pepperoni Pizza. Pizza was a little less due to happy hour. Food came out timely and at the right temperature. I tried the sandwich. I didn't care for the cheese fondue but this was someone else's order. I thought there were too many onions and peppers and not enough steak. I did like that the bread was well toasted. The pepperoni pizza had a lot of cheese and it was gooey but I didn't care for the sauce. Service was good but we had to ask for utensils. Ambiance is comfortable and relaxed. Service: 3.5 Ambiance: 3.5 Value: 3.5

Yelp
I visited Robert Irvine's Public House back in 2019 and really enjoyed it. Always wanted to come back and now that the Tropicana is closing I knew I had to go soon. I had the pastrami sandwich which I had the first time, and it was just as good the second time around (with almost half to take home - very good portion). I love tater tots so I was happy they could substitute. Another in our party ate all of his pastrami too. K had the steak frites which he also enjoyed, maybe just a little less sauce. Two others in our party had the bucatini with pesto. Both enjoyed it with one saying it was one of the best pasta dishes she's had. We wanted a little dessert to finish off the meal and ordered the messy sundae. Well it's a good thing we were a party of 5 because 4 of us still didn't finish it but we got close. Very yummy! Service was great and I'm sorry to see the restaurant close.

Yelp
I came here twice. For Breakfast, I had the American, which was two eggs, sausage, bacon, small whole potatoes cut in half, and I had Texas Toast. It was fine and came out quickly. The eggs were a properly made medium. It was pricy but did have a ton of food. I also had the six-dollar orange juice, which wasn't fresh. I came back for lunch. I had the Wagyu sliders. It wasn't real Wagyu from Japan. They were fine. The waiter asked me what temperature I wanted it -- and I would have been surprised that a small slider could be cooked. Of course, it's too small to cook to the correct temperature, but I digress. The sliders on their own were fine. When the menu said the burger had fried onions, I thought it was on the actual burger. Instead, it's a big pile of fried onions. If I had known that, I wouldn't have ordered the Tator Tots, which was a HUGE portion for $9. After trying them, it was obvious that this place really needed to clean its frying oil. The service was quick, but everything was pricey for the quality.

Helen B.

Yelp
Here for breakfast 6 dollars a cup of coffee. Ok biscuits and gravy with eggs $19. Bartenders or servers appear unhappy and sullen. Won't return.

Larry B.

Yelp
Great sliders, tots and side salad. Good service. Fun atmosphere. Too expensive. It's sad to know that this place will soon be dust!

David B.

Yelp
So wifey and I decided since we're in Vegas for a few days let's checkout MJ Live which is going on at the Tropicana hotel. Walking through the lobby I noticed this place as I'm scanning the layout. Once the show started I realized it's way past my dinner time. After the show I damn near ran into this restaurant. The hostess handed us menus and lead us to our table. Our server was adorable and I'm mad I can't remember her name. As my grandmother would say, she's a trip without a suitcase lol. Wifey ordered the Curry Chicken dish and I had Tagliatelle Bolognese and added the 3 shrimp. Although, I recommend if you decide to add shrimp just have them grilled lightly seasoned. Because as good as the dish was on its own the shrimp took away from it being so over seasoned. Overall an amazing dinner! Oh yeah... Shoutout to "Daddy Robert" LOL... That made our night!

Talal B.

Yelp
I ordered the brisket pastrami sandwich, and it was AMAZING! The swirl rye pump bread was excellent, the mustard was delicious, and the pastrami was perfect! We also had the French Fries done "The Irvine Way"! Excellent! The service from all the employees was top notch! And it was an excellent value! I highly recommend!

Angie T.

Yelp
Oh my goodness! This place is AWESOME! The burger was so thick and delicious. It was cooked perfectly with just the right fixings! The French fries were hot and great! The portions were hearty. My drink was so good! I had a pineapple spicy mojito, and it was delicious. The amounts of all of the ingredients were perfect. The garnish flower was edible and yummy. The presentation of the food and drink was beautiful and simple. The restaurant ambience was lovely. I really liked it so much. The servers and and hostess were kind and friendly and checked on us! The prices were fair, too. I know the Tropicana is closing, but we will definitely plan to patronize the restaurant at it's new location next time we are in vegas

Suriya E.

Yelp
This restaurant located in Tropicana Hotel. One of he oldest outdated hotel on the strip. I only come to eat here most the time because the casino offer me comp to dine. So why not free food lol. Location/Ambiance 3/5 - Not much to say about the ambiance but bass looking breakfast and lunch looking café a sport bar vibe in the front. Service 4/5- The service here ok depend on the day and who your server it and noting special. Food 3.5/5- Most of the breakfast it good and lunch can be kind of basic not in a good way taste like microwave food . The food kind of taste bland need seasoning but it make it cater to the clientele here that are more mature and peoples who like they food season with just salt and pepper. Wagyu Beef Slider 2 slider for $12 - The small burger were food and cook perfectly with nice crunch from bacon and pickle. I had to put Ketchup on it thou lol Spaghetti 2/5 ($19) - Basic tomatoes sauce with fresh cheese on top but nothing special or any offer of proteins to go with it. It would had been nice if they offer meatball or chicken parmesans to go along. Fruit Plate 5/5 ($14) - Ok this probably the best thing fresh cut honeydew, cantalope, strawberry and blueberries and grape. Creekstone Steak and egg 4/5 ($25) - Pretty decent breakfast steak and egg . Potatoes were ok. Pizza were basic noting special I would come back only if get more free comp not a place I would spend money on

Steve S.

Yelp
Quick service Underdone crust ( so soggy) Pieces not cut (pull-apart madness) Beer good (Pacifico draft) But very underwhelming overall Friendly server though May not return Meh

Yelp
I haven't been to Las Vegas in forever. Headed over here for lunch on my last day in Vegas before heading back to LA. Came here with some family who was also in Las Vegas and it was super delicious. Got myself a drink, peach mimosa - yummy! For lunch I ordered fish and chips and got it Irvine Style, so the chips had curry sauce and lots of different things on it. It was super flaky and crispy. My family got the pastrami sandwich, the burger and chicken BLT. All looked super delicious! Will definitely go here again if I'm in Vegas.

Diana R.

Yelp
Really liked this place. Their happy hour offerings were kind of few and far between but I guess that's to be expected on the strip. The pastrami sandwich was amazing and huge; got it with the tots so it was plenty to feed two grown adults, which made the meal affordable. (If you're not a fan of a lot of spice ask them to go light on the dijon mustard, it got me teared up a few times!) Nice comfortable atmosphere, better than expected for one of the older vegas properties! Would go back next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
We got in just after 8pm. By the time we settled at the Tropicana nothing much was open inside the hotel. Decided to dine here because it's Robert Irvine's restaurant and I'm a fan and wanted to try out his food. Didn't want to spend too much money at the steak house, either. This place wasn't busy when we get there and we got there right on time for their happy hour. We were seated right away and the waitress came in a bit to take our drinks. I asked if there is a menu for happy hour food, she said there is no specials on food for happy hour. (But later when I came on yelp, I've discovered there were discounts on pizza which the waitress did not mention. Steak and frites and pastrami sandwich were our order. I ordered my steak media rare and some of the portion of the steak was definitely rare, but steak was actually really tasty. Abundance of fries and I decided to forgo the rest of the fries and instead, stuffed my face with the more expensive which is the steak. Chimichuri was also really good. Note: Nothing opens past 10pm at the Tropicana, not even room service so just remember to grab food on your way back after a late night.

Beth P.

Yelp
I sat at the bar for a solo breakfast and had the best biscuits and gravy I've had in a long time! Good coffee, too, and they offered me a to go cup! This place has great service and food!

Noelle K.

Yelp
Come on Robert, I expected more after watching your show so often growing up! Located in the Tropicana, the restaurant appears to remain fairly empty throughout the day. It's a bit quiet aside from all the casino noise, but this does mean that service is very prompt. Good beer selection, fast service, menu items looks pretty appealing However, I wasn't too happy with my bucatini al pesto pasta. The pesto wasn't very flavorful (the flavor of the basil - the key ingredient - was pretty hard to identify) and the pasta was overcooked. The food wasn't terrible, just mediocre at best.

Susan M.

Yelp
This is the only restaurant open for breakfast in the Tropicana. Denver or mushroom Omelets are $18 and include a serving of breakfast potatoes and a choice of toast. They came fairly quickly and were nicely cooked. Coffee at $6. French toast was good at $17, and we inhaled it so fast I didn't get a picture.

Rhonda S.

Yelp
Their Pastrami Rueben is Perfection! So juicy and tender and delicious! OMG! Nirvana! We had it with a Caesar salad that was one of the best I've had at a restaurant. The quality of these two dishes blew our minds and we were raised in the business, so we are harsh critics! I cannot speak to the entire menu, but these two dishes were treasure found!!!

David C.

Yelp
Better give this place a try before it's gone for good when the Trop closes. demolished and turned into a new stadium for the Oakland A's. I was on a quest for wings, and this place did not disappoint. Service was great and I feel badly for the bartender who knows he will be looking for employment soon. We spoke briefly on how people seem to feel about the new stadium, and apparently, it's not too favorable. Glad I stopped in just in time and if by some chance, they're still there next Nov., I'll be sure to stop in again while staying at MGM, and avoid the ridiculously overpriced, Wolfang's bar and grill. I may even try the massive Ice cream sundae. I was too shy to try, but the customer seated next to me looked like he was in heaven. Great spot and reasonably priced for Vegas. I'm certain it will be missed.

Tony S.

Yelp
Extremely flavorful food with a good portion. We ate there 4 nights in a row and wasn't let down by anything.

Yelp
I came here after the MJ live show. It was a Monday but that show was packed so I assumed the bar after would be busy however it wasn't much. Staff was very friendly. They got some happy hour after 8pm on drafts and $2 off on pizzas. My drink was meh kinda watery but not bad. I didnt order food because reading the reviews however looking around me it didn't look that bad. Proper place so might try again.

Anthony S.

Yelp
I had about an hour and half to kill before attending a Concert. I've watched his program on TV. Restaurant Impossible, so his standards are high. OK. So being in the Royal Navy. Lets see. As I approached the entrance, I was greeted right away from a Hostess with genuine smile, very nice! First Impressions so important. The layout of the main Dinning room, done right ,not setting to close to other dinning guests, spread out. Very detailed also in the layout. Very pleasant. No Carpet a plus for this.... Very Contemporary, nice and relaxed colors to set the tone. Nice Pub experience. Great Job. Now for the meal I had, unfortunately, I only had a Pizza, However the pizza was very good, made to order and fresh Dough, not frozen. What makes the pizza Good is the Dough. Overall a Pleasant visit and relaxing time. Great Standards amongst the Employees. .

Cheyenne G.

Yelp
As soon as we came to Vegas we were looking for a lunch spot and this place was perfect. Looks very loungey which I like. It was a Thursday afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all. The drinks here are okay nothing special, but the food was great. We ordered the margherita pizza, wagyu sliders, grilled salmon, and shrimp. Then we came back again for breakfast and I HAD to get the french toast which was really good and so was my boyfriends omelette . Was disappointed to see this place closed early on a Saturday. This place is quiet, the music isn't too loud perfect for conversation and the servers were fast and friendly.

Chuck M.

Yelp
With all the hype about celebrity restaurants, this one was a miss. The food was mediocre. My sausage gravy looked and tasted like is was out of a can. This is one of Robert big no no's on his show. Our friends scramble eggs were liquid eggs and very rubbery. My wife's omelette was ok. We expect a lot better food at Robert Irvine's restaurant. Oh, by the way the coffee here is $6.00 and not as good as McDonald's at $1.29 The service was just ok as well. The server came a couple of times very quickly to take our order because we were talking and was not ready. After we placed our order we did not see her again until at least 15 minutes after someone else brought us our food. This as not good as our friend did not want his rubbery eggs and my wife needed a refill on her coffee. Not the type of service we expected. Not a big fan of Robert's any more as his restaurants do not practice what he preaches.

Regular T.

Yelp
Located in Tropicana casino and hotel this restaurant lives up to the hype. Party of 8 were seated quickly and service was excellent for brunch. No Gluten free menu but were accommodating for our dietary needs. Food overall was great with large portion sizes. Highly recommend if near the Las Vegas strip and Tropicana.

Yelp
Four stars for a pub experience. The LOADED SMOKEHOUSE TOTS - Tots, smoked shredded beef, green onion, house BBQ, Cheddar were a hit to start. The ULTIMATE BLT - Bacon, lemon mayo, cucumber, iceberg, tomato, onion, toasted bread that someone ordered for their main meal looked amazing, and they were very happy with it. For me, I had the COD FISH & CHIPS - Beer-battered cod, Kennebec fries, lemon, capers aïoli, green onion. Fish the fish was plentiful and not greasy. Service was great too. The only thing it is really missing is the pub feel as this place feels just like any other open area restaurant inside a casino and that is not what pubs are about.

Yelp
Great server. Made solid recommendations for us. At our table we ordered the pastrami (really good and the ground mustard amazing), fish and chips and blt. We all enjoyed our meals and I don't think it because we have been in airports all day with not much to eat. I think the food was amazing and it really helped end the hangry. Give this place a shot. It's a hidden gem at the end of the strip.

Yelp
Was staying at the Tropicana for a conference. I came back after a morning session and was in the mood for some breakfast. Fortunately, the Public House was one of the very few eating places in the Tropicana. The hostess was so pleasant as she greeted me and showed me to my table for one. She said my server, Julie would be right with me. The support staff quickly brought me a glass of ice water and asked if I wanted anything else to drink. I told her no, since I had already had my daily limit of coffee. She said with a smile, Julie would be right with me. I quickly scanned the menu and decided on pretty standard breakfast of eggs over medium with sour dough toast dry to round out the two strips of bacon, two breakfast sausages and breakfast potatoes. Julie showed up with a smile on her face and asked for my order. I was working on my iPad when they brought my breakfast. The support staff warned me that the plate was hot. I was amazed that everything was prepared perfectly. The potatoes didn't have any salt added, which I forgot to ask for no salt. The bacon was crispy like it should be, the over medium eggs had runny yolk, but firm white and the sausage tasted awesome. I will return in a heart beat for another breakfast when in town.

Yelp
The menu is sparse, and the few options it does have are uninteresting. Ordered the St. Louis ribs and curry feta fries. The fries were pretty good--the actual fries were okay, but the curry and feta topping was great. The ribs, however, were rough--clearly fished out a crock pot, popped in the oven for a minute, then slathered with room temperature barbecue sauce. The membrane on the underside of the rib was still on, too, so didn't even clear the basics. Coleslaw was the stuff out of the box, probably Sysco. Service was fine. Always liked Robert Irvine on TV and doubted the reviews. Should have listened. Shame.

Yelp
I have no idea who Robert Irvine is, and that doesn't matter. His restaurant is great. When they say that Las Vegas has incredible cuisine, this is what they're talking about. I went here twice on my stay in Vegas. More specifically, I went here twice while I was staying in the Tropicana, which made this restaurant super convenient to go to, as this restaurant is nestled behind the casino floor of the Tropicana. This made it a little difficult to find, because you have to awkwardly weave your way diagonally between slot machines to get to the restaurant. When you get there, it's wonderful. It's a step above your average gentrified-type restaurant in the city, even if that seems like what it's going for. The service was speedy and our table was visited many times to make sure everything was going well. The food was excellent. The gravy on my biscuits and gravy was a highlight. I don't think I've ever had gravy that good. There was some nice live music. My only complaint would be the decoration. When you go to Las Vegas, you want to go somewhere ritzy and swanky, and this place just looked like an above-average restaurant.

Yelp
I ordered some pasta with pesto, no flavor at all , when waitress came to our table to ask how was the food I said I didn't like it, I want it to say why but she rushed to take the plate off the table, then came back and asked me if I want to order something else so I ordered margarita pizza, thinking who can mess up that? Pizza came first thing I noticed was the look of it, diced tomatoes with some sprout leaves on it, then the smell of canned tomatoes and again just like the pesto pasta , no salt, no garlic, no basil!!!! When I told the waitress about it she just said that's the way they make it!!!! What the heck Robert !!!

Yelp
This restaurant is located inside the Tropicana. I only ate breakfast here and it was very good. So, if you want good food, go for it. The reason for the 3 Stars is the service. One, I had to sit at the bar because only people for a real estate group were allowed in the dining area--despite the dining area being only half full. Two, the dude at the bar was efficient, but he was also miserable. He didn't do anything rude or anything like that. You could just tell he wasn't happy to be there, never smiled, and just did his job. Not really a good way to start the morning. As far as prices go, not as bad as other places for breakfast on The Strip, but still a little high. I will say this: Even though just breakfast, if you're more focused on food than service, I recommend.

Yelp
To start out - we arrived and were sat immediately. The room was nice and not crowded. Very comfortable. Kiki was our waitress and was very pleasant. Here was our order and review: Daughter and wife shared the Rueben and the Chicken BLT. With sides of curry mayo fries and loaded tater tots. The Reuben was good, the meat was fantastic. The chicken BLT was good and would get again. The fondue was great, but the fondue was a little much on the loaded tots. I ordered the FnK burger that had added bacon and fondue. The meat was outstanding. The fondue made it a little difficult to eat and slightly overpowered the burger. Truffle fries were delicious as my side. Overall, good meal, almost great.

Yelp
Best Denver Omelette I've ever had. Hubs said his chicken and waffles were the best he's ever had as well. Staff was super attentive and friendly. Restaurant was impeccably clean and had a great flow. Wouldn't have noticed we were in a casino - no smell of smoke or anything like that. Delicious food - so happy we came today and we'll definitely be back next time we are in town. Thank you!!!

Yelp
This restaurant is located inside the Tropicana. My husband and I were looking for a decent place to sit down and enjoy breakfast. When we arrived we were both apprehensive about the place but were both happily surprised with the exceptional service from the staff plus the food was enjoyable. We both had omelettes and coffee and they were nicely made. We were more impressed with the service. We were greeted up front by Lorna. She had a nice and comforting smile and asked us how we were both doing. Our waiter Scott was accommodating, friendly, and attentive. He listened to my husband's request and gladly offered to make the necessary changes to his breakfast omelet. Laura provided coffee service and was on top of her game. She was friendly, great smile, and made sure we both had fresh and hot coffee while we ate. It's nice to know that there are places that service is a priority and that human contact, courtesy, and a beautiful smile are also essential to the success of of a business Thank you for your service. We look forward to seeing you again on our next trip. Claudia and Dennis O'Brien

Yelp
Well, Robert Irvine is my hero and inspiration in the culinary arts, so when in Vegas, I gotta try his place. Cool looking Pub House, server well educated on the menu. I got the Burger my wife the Fish and Chips. The Burger was not what I would call decadent; I would describe it as clean and fresh, the brioche bun hold up to the ingredients all the way through. I ordered a medium rare, and that's what I got. A+. The Fish and Chips was very well prepared with thick breading with substantial fish inside. No disappointment there. A+. Robert Irvine does not fail to impress.

Yelp
I had a really good breakfast. I ordered the All American. It was scrambler eggs, thick cut bacon, sausages, potatoes, and toast. The breakfast was good, and the portions were large. I especially liked the potatoes. They had a little good crisp to them and tasted great. The toast was also delicious. It was sweet and toasted. I was happy and full with this meal. I came back for dinner. The dinner choices are limited. I got the Bang Bang Shrimp Tempura, a small plate. It was delicious. I also ordered the PH lemonade. It was good and refreshing. I enjoyed it. This restaurant is inside the Tropicana hotel. It is a nice casual restaurant. The menu is small. The staff was friendly and professional. The staff gave good customer service. The food came out fast. I think the waiter came to check on us more than 3 times. I was impressed.

Yelp
Gosh a solid 3 Stars for this Pub. Maybe I set the par high since I watched Restaurant Impossible. This is a large restaurant with lots of seating. The seats are actually comfortable, and the tables are good size. Our server was very nice. She took a bit to take our order but we saw she was busy. She did however forget my glass of wine that I ordered. We had to ask her about it since our food was on the table. She also gave me a Pinot Noir instead of the CAB I ordered. (Receipt says Pinot and the wine was not as bold in flavor) Food: Bang Bang Shrimp Temura Steak Frites Spaghetti with Burratta Mozarella The Bang Bang Shrimp had great flavor, but the Tempura battery was a bit hard. Mind you. I love Japanese Tempura. I can't complain about the steak because its a skirt Steak. It was a bit chewy but I loved eating it with the A1 sauce instead of the Chimichurri. The chicmichurri was more oil rather than the herbs. No flavor but oil. I would recommend to lessen the amount of Asparagus. I probably had a whole bunch on my plate. Lastly, the Spaghetti was delicious and I loved the burrata. Overall, it's a decent spot to eat if you're in the Tropicana Hotel.
