Does Los Angeles Have the Best Pizza in the Country? - Eater LA

"Brooklyn wood-fired legend Roberta’s recently opened its second LA location, this time in Studio City." - Karen Palmer

Roberta’s New Location Is in an LA Shopping Mall. Here’s Why That Hurts | Eater

"Opened in September 2018 in the center of an open-air, succulent-filled retail complex, this outpost serves high-quality, genuinely delicious wood-fired pizza to a lunch crowd of business-casual and streetwear-clad diners whose small dogs whine under tables. Inside, two wood ovens rage beside an old-fashioned fridge of ducks and steaks, a terrazzo bar, pastel chairs, and a swooping concrete breeze-block wall; the pizza has a fluffy, tangy crust kissed with char and toppings like raw chicories that can be a touch wet. Prices and touches of local branding (a $6 Budweiser brewed in Van Nuys) underscore the mix of craft and commerce: friendly service and good food are evident, but the overall feel is curated and branded rather than improvisational, producing an uncanny, gentrified version of the original scrappy spirit." - Meghan McCarron

Google
I had a margarita pizza which was solid. It doesn’t let you down, but it won’t the the most amazing pizza you had in your life either. The outdoor area is supper cool.

Google
The pizza here is poetically beautiful. It looks stunning, it tastes like art and it was made by an artist. Shoutout Jackson for making delicious food, treating us with the best attitude/service and for recommending everything we got. Not pictured is the roasted squash which is so delicious. The pizza we got is the seasonal one and was the perfect blend of mushroom and cheese. We also got the straticella which was great. Super cool spot will definitely be back

Love Roberta's! LOVE IT!! The food, ohhhhh the FOOD!! Come hungry because there is so much food joy here. The Beesting Pizza is delish! Anything you purchase here you will want to "commune with" and enjoy for a long while. My friend and I will make the longish drive (2 1/2 hours), because the food is divine. There is indoor seating which is great when the weather is bad, but to truly have the best eating experience, try to sit in the outdoor eating area. There are beautiful trees and comfortable tables and chairs. The fresh air combined with the lovely food, and the beauty of the outdoors will enchant you, and you will enjoy Roberta's all the more. If the outdoor eating experience is not your thing, there is indoor seating. If you have small children, be aware that there are skeletons flying around above them/you. I couldn't figure out if they are always there or if they were left over from Halloween. It was March (2025) the last time we were there. If you are still hungry afterwards and can still find room the store next door sells very tasty sweet pies (not pizza, the regular kind). Robeta's is pricer than buying your chain-store pizza, and it should be. This pizza is amazing. If my friend were writing this critique, she could tell you all the chef and the owner and the style of the pizza. I love hearing her food/resturant stories, but alas, you are stuck with me. I can share that the body of the pizza is thin and the crust is light, and very tasty - Neapolitan-style, and wood-fired Italian pizza. (Sometimes we save the outer crust to enjoy later....it's that good). It's in a pretty tree lined mall, with a water way feature running through the mall. The mall is clean and devoid of trash, and the mall restrooms are clean and well maintained. Parking in the mall is not free, and while there are many, many spaces, finding a free space can be difficult. Be patient, Roberta's is worth it. 4220 Coldwater Canyon Ave, Studio City. They have a couple of high-chairs for your cbildren. There isn't a restroom in the resturant, but it's quite close to the resturant in the mall. They don't have ice for your beverages. They do have wonderful staff people, very knowledgeable and helpful. If you haven't been to Robertas's go and get the Beesting Pizza and two or three of their delicious sides. Your taste buds will thank you.

Roberta’s Pizza has been our favorite in the Valley since day one. It’s hard to beat their Bee Sting, especially when you add the spicy olive oil that gives it a real kick. Sitting outside under the redwoods, enjoying the laid-back atmosphere, makes for a great experience every time. Even sneak in a quick pint! Staff are always friendly and the pizza comes out relatively quickly While there’s been a slight dip in quality recently, it’s still worth the visit. The unique flavors and relaxed vibe keep us coming back, even if it’s not quite as spot-on as it used to be.

Google
Very delicious, good quality pizza. The staff is good as well. The Bee Sting pizza is what I’ve tried, however, I get it minus the chili, because spicy pizza doesn’t sound good to me, but the honey gives it a nice flavor. My only complaints are the uneven slices and the amount of toppings. They use very big pepperonis, but only had one per slice, and one slice was missing it completely. There was also uneven cheese distribution. So it’s good, but not great.

Google
I recently had a delightful dinner I ordered the bee sting pizza, greens salad and the peach ceviche.. it is my kind of pizza, thin crust, not too much cheese, a few ingredients. The mix of hot and sweet is great, I love it. I do like a crispier crust but, would still order it again. The greens salad was delicious. It has an unusual dressing of anchovies and fresh herbs over my favorite lettuce, little gem, topped with bread crumbs. It’s a big salad, enough for two or three. Then the star of the show was a stone fruit dish (peach in this case, I don’t know if they use other stone fruits.) Peaches are my favorite fruit, and this was one of the best peach creations I’ve ever eaten. It was a perfect fresh peach cut in large pieces with little jalapeño slices and a few cilantro flowers, an unexpected flavor combination that really worked. The presentation was perfect, clean, fresh, colorful. It was enough for two so I brought some to a friend after and she was equally delighted. Yum!

Google
Pizza was good, but for the price, I expected more. I know it's supposed to be charred on the crust (top) but it was a lot more than I would like (top and bottom) and ended up not eating the edge . At $20+ a pizza (personal size) and to not eat so much of it, was disappointing. I ordered the Margarita Pizza, the flavor was good for what I could eat.

Google
Amazing most delicious pizza I’ve EVER had. I hardly ever write reviews but this one is worth the time. Not only was the cashier extremely knowledgeable but everything he suggested was beyond on point. I had the Famous Original pizza which is what they are known for and man is it worth every bite!

Yelp
Got some pizzas to-go so I can't review the dine-in experience. But the pizza was terrific! They serve the one-size, Neapolitan-style pies. We got a variety of meat and vegetarian selections to share. Sauce, crust, cheese and toppings are all fresh, delicious and well-prepared. Be sure to get some spicy oil dipping sauce, goes great on the pizza and/or for dipping the crust. Pricey but worth it!

Yelp
Roberta's food is high quality and delicious. Staff is kind. My only wish is that it was somewhere other than the Shops at the Sportsman's Lodge. I wish it were on Ventura Blvd. or Ventura Place. Parking at the Shops at the Sportsman's Lodge can be challenging and at times keeps me from going to Roberta's more often. I also wish they were on UberEats in addition to DoorDash. All of that said. Their food is worthy of a visit. Many visits. Their pizza crust is yummy. Ingredients are always fresh and everything I have tried on the menu has been tasty!!!

Yelp
Simple and easy pizzas found in the sportsman lodge shopping city. The bee sting and margarita are my favorite Nice burnt crust is hard to find around here Definitely a must try
google avatar

Yelp
This place would definitely get a 5/5 if the price was a bit more reasonable. For these two personal pizzas, it was over $50. However, if you can get over the exorbitant prices, this pizza is delicious. Both the margherita and bee sting are great, with the bee sting having a hot honey drizzle over the top.

Yelp
Very happy with the pizza I ordered. It was a simple "famous original" one, with mozzarella, an incredible sauce and...that's it? The crust was thin, chewey and perfect. It was so simple yet so satisfying. The order took long to come out though, even though it was just one pizza. If I was hungry at that time, my rating would be lower haha They have some tables inside, but most of people stay outside or take it to go. Everything there is you "pick up your own things" kinda style. You order at the counter but they bring your pizza at the table. Water, utensils, napkins, you grab yourself. It is not the place if you were thinking of having a fancy dinner (although the prices are elevated for an individual pizza, but the quality is above average, trust me). Would I go back? Absolutely.

Yelp
Roberta's is a pizzeria at the Sportsman's Lodge Plaza. Here's a quick pros/cons list: Pros: - Nice outdoor seating - Yummy pizza - Dog friendly - Tasty beer Cons: - Expensive - Servers brought out the pizza, but refused to bring napkins (get them yourself, they said nicely) -Parking is the usual at the Sportsman's Lodge - stressful and intense Roberta's is definitely worth a visit, and I'll drop in from time to time when the mood strikes. But given the cost and the parking, it's a now and then place for me.

Yelp
Bee sting pizza and house stracciatella appetizer are must-try's!! Had them as second dinner (oops) and didn't even have a chance to be full because we ate them so fast. We rushed and arrived maybe about 20-30 minutes before closing and appreciated them taking our order (some restaurants have last call 30 mins before closing time). The staff helping us was great! The house bread was huge and fresh, and paired with the cheese so well. Bee sting was sweet, savory, AND spicy- perfect combo. I love honey on my pizza! The only downside would be that it's on the expensive side. The bill came out to $50 with tax for these 2 items. Wished the pizzas were a little bigger, but still worth a try! This small restaurant is located in Sportsmen's Lodge shopping center with a variety of stores, restaurants, and plenty of outdoor seatings. There is none inside the restaurant. Parking (paid) is a little difficult during the evening and weekends.

Yelp
I didn't realize how few locations they had in the west coast so I definitely wanted to take advantage of the fact I had one 5 minutes from me and the photos looked delicious. The food tastes just as good as it looks. It was a last minute decision to go out to eat and we thought let's finally try Roberta's, we were starving!! We walked in not knowing what to anticipate. We understand that it's the type of restaurant where you order up front, get a number, and then find a table waiting for your food. The person up front was so nice and helpful answering all our questions about the process and the menu on what to order. The popular items were exactly what we wanted to try, we ordered the Straciatella w/bread, green salad, and the bee sting pizza. Our order arrived at our table within 19 minutes and we were ecstatic about it. Salad was good, my husband was not a fan of the anchovy vinaigrette so we will not be ordering this again. I loved the Straciatella and bread, Straciatella is my favorite cheese and they nailed this one! The bread is essentially the pizza dough, just thicker form, it was so fluffy and delicious!!! It was just two of us but this appetizer is really perfect for a party of 4 or more because we were just getting full off of bread and cheese and we couldn't stop ourselves lol. Pizza was a delicious balance of everything, we would definitely get two pizzas next time. Perfect size crust, perfect amount and portions of the toppings, we were really happy with the pizza and would love to try more flavors. To be very transparent, the menu is really small, there's not much variety at all, and there aren't really any meat items on the menu. My husband is a carnivore and he would have loved to have more than just soppressata on the pizza (personal preference of course). Would have also loved to have a pasta dish to share to really tie this meal together. Overall I would recommend to try this place, the dough they make is wonderful!!

Yelp
It's a decent pizza place bit overpriced. Quick service and casual shopping center seating option.
google avatar

Loretta A.

Yelp
Delicious Margarita pizza, I added pork sausage. I only wish they had a smaller salad that wasn't so expensive. Good pizza for sure. Service was easy and fast for a Monday night. Outdoor tables were nice.
google avatar

Maria-Elena T.

Yelp
My local friend had been wanting to try this place so we did. There was an event at the shopping center so parking took longer than usual. There was no line when we arrived. You order and get a number and they find you. We got a table in the shade right outside the door. We split the Margherita pizza. It was the perfect amount for us to share. The pizza was good but a bit burnt on top. I later realized it was burnt in the bottom too. Very tasty though. Service was friendly and efficient.
google avatar

Yelp
My all time favorite pizza spot! So far we have tried the Bee Sting, Margherita, Speckenwolf, and crispy glover- my favorite is the Bee Sting. Pizza is a crispy thin crust, delicious toppings, and made to perfection. It can get busy depending on the time but there's lots of seating options, but you're also competing for tables from other dining/ shopping spots in the plaza. I've also order it is take up and still tasty but usually requires another few minutes in the oven to rewarm the pizza. Always friendly service, good amount of menu options- apps, pizzas, and drinks, and ample parking. A must try for pizza lovers!
google avatar

Monique C.

Yelp
We ordered their margherita, bee sting Pizza, Cheesus Christ and a Domino Effect! So simple and yet amazing! Each of them have a unique taste, and the crust is out of this world. Here on a visit from Hawaii and I have to say we lack good pizza place there. The family did not wait, I did not have a chance to take photos. I have photos of empty boxes only.
google avatar

Netia B.

Yelp
The service and food were good, I just knocked it down 2 stars bc I don't believe they accept cash payments (illegal) but take cash tips... On top of that you're paying $20+ for a thin crust personal pizza, but given the area, I guess that's normal (derogatory).
google avatar

genie h.

Yelp
Don't order the salad. See pic. I emailed them as a heads up and they never responded. Pizza is pretty good though!
google avatar

Steph P.

Yelp
Bee sting is soooo good. We don't ever deviate. It's always a stracciatella to start followed by the bee sting pizza. Perfect dinner for 2!
google avatar

Giovanni P.

Yelp
I love this so much because of its consistency. The flavor is always on point and never made with an explosion of one ingredient. The attitude of the employees is always super chill and friendly even though they're close to an Erewhon which kinda attracts a few snobs. Thanks for always making my pizza perfect.
google avatar

San R.

Yelp
Roberta's is simply delicious almost super thin crust. Great ingredients, sauce is done right, too toasty at times, but if you ask for less cooking time then you get perfectly cooked crust!

Brenden R.

Yelp
As a person, not the biggest pizza fanatic. But I come here from time to time and have appetizers and drinks. The stracchiatella and bread is out of this world. They deserve an award for this dish alone. A must have.
google avatar

Cristina A.

Yelp
One star off for the price per pie. They also don't customize and not many options. We had the Margherita and Waingro. Both are delicious, wish it was bigger size. We tried the Green Lettuces and it was filled with flavor, loved the crispy anchovies toppings to balance the lemony dressing. There was plenty of seating in the outside plaza of the Sportsmen's Lodge, nice ambiance. Parking is free if you stay under 90min.
google avatar

Ryan V.

Yelp
Coming from NYC, I've heard about Roberta's! I unfortunately never had the chance to try it when I lived there but was happy to see there was an outpost in SFV!! We ordered online and got the smashed cucumber salad, the famous original and the reliable red barclay. With tip, these 3 items came out to $70. For pick up...but I guess that's what happens when you live in LA. Picking up they have a very cool ambiance and a few tables outside if you wanted to eat there. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Once we got home however, we were a bit disappointed. The ingredients are clearly fresh! The salad however is pretty small. Especially at the $14 price point, it wasn't to us anything spectacular. A bit of a let down as it's on their menu as a popular item. On to the pizzas, the barclay has amazing flavor! But once again a little disappointed at how expensive for how small these pies are. Ingredients are once again clearly fresh but the famous original didn't blow us away. To us, it was like an elevated pizza you used to get in elementary school for someone's birthday. Overall, worth trying! I can see how this place has a following but for the price I do feel like we'll end up going back to our local small business pizzeria.
google avatar

Hercules G.

Yelp
We go to Equinox in the same complex and thought to try this place. Two individual pizzas (one was a cheese pizza) and two glasses of wine plus tip cost over a $100 at this restaurant! My partner got basil on his pizza for $3 extra and each basil was split between two slices. There were a few families there and I can't imagine that a family of four (parents plus kids) probably paid around $200 for these simple pizzas! Definitely a place I wouldn't try more than once with this ridiculous prices!
google avatar

Jason M.

Yelp
Make sure you don't order a bottle of red wine here. Tastes like cough syrup that's purple and call it a cab. Manager will just tell you it's company policy regardless of how bad it is. No refund no customer satisfaction. Should never serve this nasty of a wine anywhere and if you're going to sell a bottle that you brag about you should for sure make your customers try this because nobody would order it. But I'm sure that's why you have a no return policy because I'm sure everyone would return it.
google avatar

Sonia A.

Yelp
Amazing place to hang and eat. The roasted squash and bread with burrata was so good. Relaxing
google avatar

Dev W.

Yelp
Had a margarita pizza .... much of the crust top and bottom was burned. Ordered a glass of wine was served a thimble! Meh, don't think I'd return anytime soon.
google avatar

Yelp
Roberta's pizza opened up in Studio City and I was thrilled to have a piece of NY nearby. The low gluten pizzas do not disappoint but I have to say, it's all in the water! I have to find a way to get NY water to LA pizza. The Star of the menu is their Stracciatella. With a delicious blown-op bread and the stretchy cheese dripping with olive oil, this is a treat for the ages. It is a taste of epic proportions. It is a must have. If you've never had it, I suggest you run to Roberta's and have it right now. Then write back and thank me. You're welcome.
google avatar

Jaleesa M.

Yelp
Best pizza I've had since Italy Great quality ingredients. I will definitely be back.
google avatar

Nicole Z.

Yelp
Roberta's was phenomenal. I had been wanting to try it for a while and really enjoyed it. While I wish the prices were a little lower - we spent over $50 for a pretty small pizza and the straticella - but I did enjoy everything I ate. The straticella was incredible and the bread it comes with arguably overshadows the pizza
google avatar

Leeza S.

Yelp
The Bee Sting came highly recommended by my friend and it did not disappoint! The people that work there were friendly and even explained some of the menu items because I told them it was my first time. You can sit inside or outside in the general courtyard area. We sat outside because it was a nice spring evening in LA. I love pizza and could eat this everyday.
google avatar

Your Brand M.

Yelp
best straccateli ever I swear this is the only thing worth getting to me, and I drive far just for this! It is truly addicting and I can't wait to get it again
google avatar

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
The food was fine. You can get it for 1/2 the price in local pizza places. Got the Margherita pizza. Great crust. Pizzana and Gino's are similarly priced with better food, prices, and environment. Worth trying but no reason to return. Service was good. Guys were very cool. Again, just highly priced for what it was.
google avatar

Mailani S.

Yelp
The normcore pizza t is a sweet and savory pizza that is absolutely delicious! 100% would recommend! The service was very fast, on a Tuesday at 5 pm. Sitting outside is beautiful!
google avatar

Nathan G.

Yelp
Yet another great pizza joint in a neighborhood teeming with them these days. The Famous Original was basically a solid Margherita with a kick. I also liked their punchy green salad and their crisp pickled Giardiniera. As with other Sportsmans Lodge joints, the outdoor eating area is very pleasant. I recommend this place without reservation, but it is not quite in the stratosphere like a couple of other nearby pizza places, hence four stars.
google avatar

Andrea B.

Yelp
Honestly. WTF. I just ordered a Cheesus Christ with pepperoni and basil. The crust is perfectly blistered and black and crispy. The cheese, well, right. Unbelievable. The pepperoni is spicy. I'm white. Like, gringa white. So it's pretty spicy for me, but I'm pushing through for the team and I love it. A friend from Spain introduced me to this place and I live less than a mile from here. Why did it take someone from Europe to introduce me to this place? I'm an idiot. Please go here and patronize them. The pizza is incredible. Outstanding. It will change your life. Talk to them about the spices if it's too much for you. They will guide you. But push yourself: it's worth the experience. Yolo.
google avatar

Mayra S.

Yelp
I will NEVER eat pizza anywhere else after Robertas today. I read the menu and thought to myself "honey on pizza". Noooo. But YES YES AND YES . BEE STING- The honey and soppressata are the duo you didn't know you needed in your life . Crust - light , airy , I got toasted marshmallow feels and super delicious l. Green lettuces - the anchovy vinaigrette had a great kick to it. 2 pizzas , 1 beer, bottled water and a salad = $80 and sooo damn worth it !
google avatar

Yelp
First, thank you so very much for being supportive of our sister union WGA/ and ours which begins to strike at midnight. The 10% discount we just payed forward towards the tip. We had the Rosso pizza, which is diary-free! Guys what is this heavenly goodness?! It's the food of the gods, must be. Also, added a melon and cucumber salad which had a yogurt dressing of sorts. Absolutely fabulous! Ambiance: we sat under mature pine trees on a warm summers evening, after playing Let's make a Deal! It was so much fun, and this dinner was the perfect close to an amazing day. Parking is easy peezy at the renovated Sportsman Lodge. It's re-imagination was what the valley needs. It's beautiful. Will head back here soon and try other tasty menu items. Once again, thank you for yr support of our industry, yr kindness was deeply appreciated and not soon forgotten.

Yelp
Had a lovely meal at Roberta's over at the new Sportsman's Lodge shops. We came on a Sunday afternoon so it was pretty chill there, however the cashier let us know they were understaffed so it took a minute for us to actually get our order in. The food also came out all at different times, which could have been a result of the understaffing too. The menu is simple, but features delicious salads and pizzas. The salad portions are small and I felt a little pricey for what you get however, the crushed cucumber salad was delicious! We wanted to order the baby lettuce salad but they were out. The pizzas are big enough to share, and I recommend trying a couple flavors! Crust is thin but has a nice crunch. We tried the bee sting, the speckenwolf and the famous original. The famous original was bar far my favorite! Loved the sauce and it had the perfect amount of cheese. I liked the bee sting, the meat on it was delicious but it wasn't as spicy as I expected. The speckenwolf wasn't my favorite. I didn't find it to have that much flavor and I don't think it had any sauce on it, just cheese and crust which isn't my jam. Overall, this is a great spot to grab lunch and some drinks with friends but expect to have this casual meal cost more than you would think. Lots of great outdoor seating! I would recommend giving it a shot if you are a fan of woodfired pizza.
google avatar

Rebecca M.

Yelp
I'm really enjoying this rather new space by the Sportsman's Lodge; it's a beautiful area, and with Roberta's having both indoor and outdoor seating I've never had an issue finding a spot to sit and eat. This is an offshoot of their original location, so the menu is a little smaller, but no less delicious. I prefer the table-waiter style service, and this location is a walk-up-only order style. But the food came out quickly. I love their wine options, and salads are huge and could be an entire meal themselves.
google avatar

Michael G.

Yelp
A nice treat that tastes like East Coast pizza! I love that this East Coast establishment opened a 2nd location in the Valley! The small menu gets straight to the point and doesn't leave you feeling overwhelmed. We tried the beesting and original - both were so delicious! I loved the subtle sweetness of the beesting but I wish it had a bit more of a kick. The complimentary chili oil and red pepper flakes would have brought it to the level it should have been at, but I didn't bring any home with me. The fresh and aromatic basil was a great touch and gave it an herby, sweet and savory flavor. The original had a great burst of cheesiness and was super tasty! They did a cheese pizza correctly by incorporating 3 cheeses. We also tried the stracciatella and bread. The bread was soft, pillowy and warm - it was the perfect pair with the stringy and moist cheese. The bread has a hint of salt and didn't mask the flavor of the cheese. If bread and cheese is your love language, you won't be disappointed. Overall, I wish there was a bit more crispiness to the pizza crust as it was a bit flimsy/soggy. The pizza is on the pricier side but definitely full of flavor and value.
google avatar

Nicole M.

Yelp
Pizza was made quickly! We sat outside in the common area. There were plenty of tables available which were shaded. The artisan pizza was amazing...would definitely come back.
google avatar

Emani D.

Yelp
I went here for my first with my family. We share three different pizzas (I forgot their names...lol) that were very good. The place was clean, and the customer service was great. Next time I go, I plan on getting the oxtail lasagna.
google avatar

C. Jay O.

Yelp
First things first- their staff was great. Very helpful and willing to lend a hand. However, only one high chair? We have two toddlers and couldn't sit down because of this... then 3 more groups came with kids and the same issue presented itself. This is a pickup style place with chairs to sit but not really enjoy it. The pizza is also very expensive for the amount of food you actually get. It's good... don't get me wrong, but not sure it's worth it. I also nearly finished an entire pizza too- and I'm not a big quantity eater.
google avatar

Ryan C.

Yelp
With so many pizza places in LA it's hard to do anything of notice. And while the hot honey trend is nothing new. I feel like the bee sting is hot honey perfection for a pizza. Perfect honey to cheese to pepperoni ratio. It's just perfection. White guy is also amazing and my bro and I usually get both and split. The stracciatella is cheesy appetizer perfection. Love this studio city location
google avatar

Jerry G.

Yelp
I thought their Mohammad Pizza was interesting but not very good. Interesting name. Naming pizza for religious leaders.
google avatar

chris l.

Yelp
I actually haven't eaten here but had to chime in to all the reviews about people saying the pizza is "burnt". Please. If you don't know wtf traditional neapolitan style pizza is... please just stay tf home. "tHe PiZzA wAs BuRnT oN tHe bOtToM aNd sOmE oN tHe ToP." Looking at YOU Kimberly R., Michael M., Dev W., Joanie C... etc... IT'S LITERALLY SUPPOSED TO BE. Just hop back on your short bus to domino's, dumdums.

Yelp
A great addition to "The Shops at Sportsmen's Lodge!" The intimate feeling inside feels like you're sitting right amongst the kitchen around their wood fired pizza oven. Or, you can take a seat right outside on the deck under the evergreen trees. Getting to goods, you have to have an order of their Stracciatella! Probably the most unique dish on their menu. Fantastic! To accompany that, a little sweet & spicy, the Bee Sting pizza fills that gap nicely. It's sneaky spicy! If you need another, the Speckenwolf rounds out that variety perfectly. The trifecta of a perfect dinner!

Yelp
As a New Yorker, I will say that Roberta's is one of the best! I'm so glad it's now open in LA. Yes, it's a bit on the pricey side, but I think totally worth it! The bee sting is my all time favorite, it's sweet, savory, and spicy! What more can you ask for? The dough is perfectly cooked and made to order! Also, the smashed cucumbers are super refreshing and pairs great as an appetizer while you're waiting for your pizza! You need to try this combo! Perfection.

Yelp
Solid pizza every time. This review is not necessary. Just got here if you like delicious pizza. Bee sting is one of the goats, but most of the pies are fantastic.

Yelp
I've been in there twice and it took 15 mins for someone even to attempt to take my order. And I mean I'm standing in line behind maybe 1 party. They have zero sense of urgency. And what I wanted to order they were out of. I'd love to review the food but honestly I wouldn't know. Horrible service. The staff needs to be retrained on front of house. Microaggressions left and right. If the food is as good as the reviews, there has to be a reason no one is ever in there. I surmise why.
