"Some people have yet to entrust their emotional wellbeing to a kicker who doesn’t care whether they win a four-leg parlay. If you’re hanging out with folks like that, get a table at Rocco’s in Noho. Think of this place as a casual cocktail lounge dressed up like a fun sports bar, with food like a crudités board and vegan buffalo queso. Non-sports friends will appreciate the retro design and comfy leather booths, and you’ll have a nice time watching your kicker doink a field goal on the mini jumbotron." - will hartman, willa moore, molly fitzpatrick, bryan kim
"Rocco’s is a sports bar for modern bros. It opened last year in Noho from the same owners as the Manhattan bars the Garret and Bandits. You can watch a game with nachos and a pulled pork sandwich, or go for something more refined, like vegan queso and mushroom Po’ boy. For drinks, there are cocktails (around $18 each), plus micheladas and boilermakers. The bar has lots of seating, and two custom basketball machines in the back." - Eater Staff

"I tried the recently opened Rocco's Sports & Recreation in the Village and found their take—inspired by tacos al pastor—uses a pork sausage seasoned with achiote, chiles, garlic, and smoked brisket drippings, served with a paprika-lemon-garlic aioli and a slice of pineapple for a modern, game-day–influenced palate." - Kathleen Squires
"Rocco’s is more of a sports-themed bar than an actual sports bar. With its sleek brown booths and impeccably-curated displays of vintage memorabilia, this Noho spot feels like a Dave & Busters that earned a graduate degree and bought a house on Cape Cod. So if you need a place to catch a game that isn’t too dark and divey, book yourself a table. There are a bunch of TVs spread around the space, including a few embedded in a fake jumbotron above the main dining room. Just keep in mind that the food tries to get a little fancy, and it doesn’t always work out. The massive board of dips is great for groups, but some of the snacks—like the $16 chopped cheese jalapeño poppers—are relatively pricey and dorm room-esque. photo credit: Andrew Sokolow" - Bryan Kim
"From the team behind West Village party restaurant Bandits, this sports bar pairs a playful snack menu—chargrilled barbecue oysters with five spice and pickles, merguez sausage pigs in a blanket, and a vegan Buffalo chicken dip—with heartier items like a porterhouse for two finished with nori butter." - Emma Orlow
