Classic menu & drinks offered in a lively, industrial spot with a covered terrace, plus drag shows.
"Finally making use of the best corner in Weho (Santa Monica and San Vicente), Rocco’s is a relatively new addition to the neighborhood and, at the very least, a lot better than the sad Bank of America it replaced. With a massive, wrap-around patio and huge bar area inside, Rocco’s is a bit corporate but gets points for providing the area with the restaurant/bar combo it needed. Is the food good? Not really. But they have a decent beer list, plenty of appetizers you’ll be fine with when you’re drunk, and Wheel of Fortune playing during the week. Also, they have a full dog menu if your canine child is tagging along." - brant cox
"Despite the numerous comedy theaters and live music venues in West Hollywood, good spots for drinks and snacks before seeing a show are limited. Coucou fills that void. This French-ish bistro—the original location is in Venice—has a breezy, indoor-outdoor space that’s well-suited for downing martinis and watching the sunset. And while you could come here for a full meal, we recommend snacking on well-done small plates like fried olives, shrimp cocktail, and beef tartare instead. From there, take the party elsewhere: The Troubadour, Dan Tana’s, and all the bars on Santa Monica Boulevard are within stumbling, er, strolling distance. " - brant cox, nikko duren
"Even if you’ve only driven through Boystown once, you probably noticed Rocco’s. The massive sports bar is located on the prime corner of Santa Monica Blvd. and San Vincente, and feels like a de facto welcoming center for the debauchery that lies beyond it. There technically isn’t a separate brunch service, but they open daily at noon and have a massive menu filled with salads, burgers, Bloody Marys, and a lot of bubbles." - brant cox
"Rocco’s, the mellow sports bar across the street from Rage." - Farley Elliott
