20 Iconic Dishes That Define Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"Flanigan’s may have started in Pompano Beach, but no other city embraces the restaurant like Miami. Its green glow is a beacon for affordable bar food, fast service, and safe spaces for any South Floridian who’s ever impaled a shrimp with a hook. You can’t say you’ve fully experienced Flanigan’s without ordering these massive wonton rolls stuffed with rib meat, pork, cheese, and onions. Are they good? Not really. Are they iconic? Absolutely." - virginia otazo, ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino

One of the best baby back ribs I have ever had! As an Iron Maiden fan you have to go. The restaurant is full of unique Iron Maiden memorabilia. You can also get one of a kind Iron maiden merch here!! So cool!

Google
Well, Iron Maiden and Nicko... What else is there to say? I got the ribs, they were fantastic! Had a second reason for being there, I went to see Kai Hahto's Bass Drum head on the wall. There's plenty of parking spaces and the restaurant is easily accessible. The prices are more than fair, the staff is very friendly. There's a souvenir shop with T-shirts, beer sleeves and the Drum Spices. This is the most ingenious souvenir I've ever seen. Is like a spice dispenser but shaped like a drum. You can ever practice on it if you have drum sticks. Drove about 40 miles to see it and next time I'm in Miami I'll visit again for sure.

Google
Amazing Location, Back to the Future.. amazing Iron Maiden artwork. The staff amazing especially the staff of May 7, 2025. Everyone is great and the food amazing. You can have BBQ with different sauces or dry rub fall off off the bone... thank you..... Iron Maiden Long time Fan!

Google
For the appetizer i had mozzarella sticks and for lunch I had a Ribeye, Aces High French Fries and corn in the cob. The food was delicious and the service pretty good! Wish Nicko was there but he was traveling!

Google
I went to Rock n Roll Ribs flavor was there but hardly and meat on the ribs. Vegetables were very very soft. Mac n cheese the best.

Daniel Suppes

Google
Had the ribs...oh man. I can't say enough about them. The meat is literally so tender that they fall off the bone. The seasoning is on point and the Carolina mustard sauce is well balanced. Atmosphere is great as the place is decorated with a lot of Iron Maiden para'fan'alia. Place was quiet enough to talk with friends and enjoy the food.

Google
Best ribs I've eaten in a long time. I'm a longtime fan of the band and it was nice to go try it. The staff ladies were very kind and they had the best attitude.

Ellebasi Adeur

Google
Not as great as I thought it once was. I had been before, though quite some time ago. The onion rings are the best I’ve had in a really long time. Had the honey garlic wings and it tasted like nothing. Not even honey garlic. Had the ribs also and they were just all right. The baked bean were delicious and perfect with the potato salad.

Yelp
Had lunch there on Thursday. I've been there before, but the food seems to get better with each visit. The restaurant itself is rather small but the service is great and the food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! My wife and I both had the baby back ribs. They were fantastic and the meat fell right off the bone. The portions are large, and the price is extremely reasonable. If you decide to go, don't expect anything except a wonderful meal. Enjoy.

Yelp
So I'm here in the area working and thought bout skipping lunch, but when I searched "lunch" this popped up. So I've been in the mood lately for some barbecue so I thought it was a sign... got the rib special and it was a disappointment. Chris tasted halfway die so and we're pretty much lukewarm when it was brought out to me. You would think of a place called rock 'n' roll. Ribs would have some damn good ribs just wasn't the case here. Highly unfortunate lady that was serving me was really nice. That's the only reason why I wanna break this. How long it took for the food to come out it's really hard to determine and say due to the fact, I was the only one sitting in minus one party in the fact that looked like they were already done eating.

Yelp
On 6.22.25, I tried this restaurant. The ribs had a flavor of lighter fluid, the potato salad had no seasoning and the bake beans only had pull pork flavor. I was truly disappointed and I am a true foodie....

Yelp
We came here because we're all big Iron Maiden fans! This place did not disappoint in atmosphere at all it was awesome! Our server was great and extremely talkative! We got the baby back ribs and the frontier dog which were incredible!!! The frontier dog was wrapped with bacon and chili and onion which was very yummy! The Mac and cheese and garlic toast were also extremely good. We were disappointed with the pulled pork and baked beans unfortunately. The baked beans felt like an overload of bbq sauce and the pulled pork was quite dry. I will say if you are an Iron Maiden fan this place is a must visit it was incredible to see some of the memorabilia that was in here.

Yelp
Great food and staff. Ribs are always good here and it's better than the other BBQ places portion wise. Big fans of Iron Maiden.

Yelp
BBQ Rock and roll theme restaurant with fall off the bone baby back ribs. Restaurant is owned by the Iron Maiden drummer. The service was great and food was good. Ribs were tender and I would also recommend the potato salad but was not a fan of the baked beans. I would also recommended visiting on a weekend or checking out special events they host.

Yelp
What a great place to eat. I love when the restaurant is kind of divey but still has great food. My ribs literally were like butter and fell right off the bone. They were so tender and tasty. This place is in a pretty busy plaza but the parking wasn't a problem during the lunch hour. Our server is a seasoned waitress because she worked the ENTIRE dining room alone. I was impressed. The owner of this restaurant was part of a rock band so his band's music, videos and general vibe are the "decor". Definitely coming back whenever in the area.

Yelp
This has been on my wishlist for some time between the reviews both on Yelp and Let's Eat South Florida on Facebook for the best local barbecue hotspot. I hadn't had real BBQ since my last trip to Georgia back in '18. They nailed the ribs. The meat was so tender and came right off the bone. I got mashed potatoes & gravy and macaroni & cheese -- both heavenly. I took my friend from Cali and his Cali peeps were in awe from the pictures. This cuisine doesn't exist in Cali and he found it to be the best rack of ribs he has ever had. This really is a local staple. We'll be back. I want to try that chili on a cool day.

Yelp
My wife and I visited here in 2016 since we were in town for the Book of Souls tour. We were told we had to visit. We are back in the area and we just had to come again. The service both times we have come has been amazing. There are a lot of restaurants that can learn from the service these two ladies gave us. The one waitress also waited on us back in 2016. My wife ordered the lunch special which consist of ribs and two sides. She LOVED it. My wife never finishes a meal and she ate it all. I ordered the Ribs and pulled chicken meal with two sides. Again amazing. The atmosphere is great since I have seen Iron Maiden at least 20 times in my life, brings back many memories. If you are in the area, this is a must stop ( we went 20 miles out of our way). Nicko if you read these reviews, these two ladies need a raise. Up the Irons!

Yelp
Baby back ribs are fall Off the bone good! Iron Maiden fans will love this place. Small place, good service, fairly priced.

Yelp
Great lunch experience today! The two ladies working, Deb and I didn't catch the other woman's name, were SO nice and patient as we reviewed the menu. Very accommodating and friendly. Food was great! I opted for the mahi on garlic toast w a side of slaw and potato salad.. just what I needed. My husband devoured the BBQ burger, he said it was smoky but had all the right flavors. Kids eat for $7 drink included. Our daughter really enjoyed her chicken tenders and fries. She also got a kick out of the decor. Stop in if you've been thinking about it! We've will be back to try more BBQ options!

Yelp
Having visited this location of legendary Drummer Nicko McBrain of Iron Maiden, is always a treat. Just saw them again in concert in California. The onion ring appetizers is very nice. The Pint size, Storm Trooper beer is a great way to kick off the party. Ribs and all the fixings are very good. Service was very quick & efficient, which helped us get to the John (CCR) Fogerty concert faster, next door at Coco Casino.

James O.

Yelp
Ribs were great as usual, love the potato salad. Service was great, did not wait long for our food.

Yelp
I have never been so disrespected in an establishment as I was today June 17th at the Rock and ribs in Coral Springs the woman was very rude and not hospitable she countered anything I asked for and spewed off rules that were not posted or in the menu I would look into it with this employee because she is turning away valued customers

Yelp
If you're a fan of GREAT ribs, metal, Iron Maiden and/or drummer Nicko McBrain -- YOU WILL BE IN (Rock N Roll) HEAVEN at this place!!!! The unassuming exterior of this seemingly small (from the outside) establishment located at the corner of a strip mall says only RIBS atop its entrance (in Iron Maiden-style lettering)... But the inside is in EVERY way the opposite; as it is an expansive visual overload of decor that demands a trip around the interior like it's a gallery or museum. The ribs and sides were ALL delicious, and the service was very attentive and friendly!!! Five stars! -- or (more appropriately) ACES HIGH!!!

Diane K.

Yelp
The ribs are the best around this place is a must try it's a casual place no rush not very big but they do their own ribs right there in front of you not only ribs but chicken Polish absolutely great

Yelp
I've listened to rock and metal for decades and was familiar with Iron Maiden. Their drummer Nicko McBrain is owner of this restaurant. We decided to check it out since it's close. When we arrived we found a shopping center with many medical offices. There was ample parking. It's clear that someone invested time, money, and effort in designing this restaurant but the first impression is that the day to day operations are in the hands of the employees. There are old, handwritten notes plastered in different places including the windows and doors. The first impression wasn't great, but the host and wait staff made up for this. They are all super sweet and attentive. The food was okay. Nothing too special, but it arrived hot and pretty fast. We had a few burgers that were all cooked as requested. My dinner had the chicken sandwich. All side dishes were in order. There's memorabilia all over which is fun if you ate into Iron Maiden. There's a drum kit and hold records. A concert dvd was playing. No loud music. Apparently that starts after 7. I expected metal heads here, but instead there were many senior citizens eating dinner. If this place was in a different location the clientele would be very different. I don't believe we will go back but if we do it's for the attentive staff.
google avatar

Dawn V.

Yelp
Front door was covered in signs (some handwritten). I thought the place was closed at first. Hostess was friendly. Restaurant was run down and dusty. Food was okay. I was disappointed overall.

John O.

Yelp
Stopped here at the recommendation of a family member while I was in town. This place is awesome!!!!! The food is outstanding and the ambience is AWESOME if you are an Iron Maiden fan. Check it out it will not disappoint.

Yelp
This is a restaurant I have had bookmarked forever to try but never got around to it. With gas prices being what they are, I am doing a little backyard exploring this summer which led me to lunch at Rock n Roll Ribs. Rock n Roll Ribs is owned by British Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain who decided to combine his love of rock with his passion for BBQ which he developed while touring around the United States with his band. A south Florida resident when not on tour, Nicko partnered with his close friend, guitarist, and restaurateur Rick "Moby" Baum to open Rock 'N' Roll Ribs. Every year they throw a huge anniversary party with concerts in the parking lot where Nicko signs autographs, at least he did pre Covid. This December will be their 13th year in business. This is a pretty small place seating about 70 people. I have actually never seen Iron Maiden in concert but I am a fan of one of Nicko's friends, Alice Cooper and was excited to see a signed Alice record on the wall behind the tiny stage with a small drum kit that is currently being used for restaurant storage. The rest of the walls are covered with Iron Maiden memorabilia. While you dine rock music is played but it is at such a low level that you are hard pressed to hear it. I have had a craving for ribs for several weeks now and it finally got satisfied with the baby back rib lunch special. My meal came with two sides and I chose the fries and macaroni and cheese. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and came with a tasty sweet and dark tomato based sauce. I really enjoyed the fries but I'll take a hard pass on the macaroni and cheese. It was covered in a tasteless glop. My fault for not asking. I liked the baked kind and I could really help you guys out with a much better simple recipe. Hit me up on Pinterest. The food was fine but what makes this place stand out is all of the cool rock and roll decorations although I think it could be cleaned up a little bit. It is looking a little cluttery especially by the stage. I visited during a week day and it was pretty dead inside although I did see takeout orders flying out the door. The local restaurant review show Check Please portrayed a much more lively atmosphere which I would have preferred. The episode was shot a few years ago so maybe it is more sedate now or perhaps you have to go on a weekend. I am going to keep an eye out for the next anniversary party to see if they turn the notch up to 11. Follow them on Facebook if you want to know the date. Until then rock on!

Yelp
This place is such a great place to eat and drink. Decorated with rock and roll memorabilia from Iron Maiden. The ribs are to die for. The boneless wings appt and the macaroni and cheese were delicious. This is just a cool place to go to. No need to dress up. Just sit back and enjoy the fall off the bone ribs.

Yelp
Rock n Roll Ribs lives up to the phrase "where BBQ meets Metal"! It all starts off with the atmosphere of Iron Maiden Memorabilia throughout the restaurant. All fans of BBQ will truly appreciate the aesthetic. Now the food truly takes you to a brave new world! The Iveys pulled pork sandwich is my go-to because it is a fantastic selection and it comes with two sides! I always have trouble choosing my sides because every choice is so delicious! However, I will say the onion rings are truly massive and the exact definition of what an onion ring should be. The only downside I have is that I wish the venue was a little bit bigger to avoid having to wait for a table. However, they do great takeout which is phenomenal when time is limited. Always looking forward to getting Rock n Roll Ribs because their BBQ never disappoints.

Yelp
Tge food is phenomenal service is great and ambiance is wonderful. Great Great music

Yelp
Came to rock 'n' roll ribs a few years back before Covid. The place was clean and fun, the staff was fast and friendly. The food was outstanding. Unfortunately, on this visit, I can't say the same. The food tasted as though it had sat around for a while. The floors and tables were sticky and a little bit gross. I'm willing to give them one more try, we will see how it goes.
google avatar

Yelp
Walked in this place and it was about 4 tables occupied w/ ppl. Greeted by a young man at the desk and was seated immediately. The first server that came over to me to take my drink order wasn't very pleasant to me but was very very nice to the others when they came in. Not sure what that was about but hey. There was a younger lady that came over after her and she was nice I think her name was Ashley, I THINK. It's very very quiet in here but I guess I expected more since it's a "rock n roll" rib place. The decor is nice with the rock n roll theme and there was a tv on but very low volume. FOR THE FOOD I have mixed reviews. I ordered the half rack of baby back ribs with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob which came with a slice of garlic toast. The ribs were falling off the bone, charred to perfection, and very tasty but were LUKEWARM (don't understand why). My mashed potatoes were piping hot, creamy and seasoned very well but I'm thinking they came out of a box. The corn was chewy, mushy and kept sticking to my teeth when I bit into it, I couldn't eat it. And my garlic toast looked soooo delicious until I bit it and it tasted burnt so I flipped it over and yep burnt. I had a coke to drink Not sure if I'll be returning but it was OK for my first time here.

Yelp
BEST BEST BBQ restaurant in south Florida!!!! Who would have thought that a brit would end up making the best American bbq! Blows my mind. First - Iron Maiden. That's all I need to say. You come here because you love Iron Maiden. The drummer of the band owns this restaurant and I think he comes here frequently when he is in town. The restaurant is decorated with the bands memorabilia and videos. Looks so cool!! Second - the Trooper beer. I lived in England and these beers are the ONLY good British beers. Come here to have THEIR beer and THEIR restaurant. Ultimate fan experience. Third - Food is amazing!!! We had the wings this time because we only came for drinks. But I've had the bbq before and it is amazing!!! They know their bbq!! Finally - service is amazing!!! They close early and we got there literally 20 minutes before close. I did not feel rushed at all! Everyone was so nice and it was a great experience!!! I'm so happy I live close by now because I will be coming back very often!!! Even if just to drink the beer and enjoy the location!

Yelp
Had the appetite of the beast . -- this was a take out order - Food was ok . The ribs delicious, the baked chicken well cooked and good as well . Toast was good . We traded out the slaw for the potato salad . The potato salad was ok but didn't have any egg ( I get it , it's a Resturant and they service more people than me .) the scene for the Resturant was pretty cool . The corn was surprisingly basic and bland . Wasn't a lick of salt , pepper or butter on the corn . Like the corn was beyond fresh . The biggest losers of this meal was the shredded chicken and the shredded pork ..... THEY WERE SUPER DRY .. SAND PAPER DRY the delicious bbq sauce couldn't even save them . I wasn't a fan of the baked beans either , my husband liked them but I didn't . The ketchup base or house bbq sauce base for the bake beans just wasn't for me. The Mac and cheese tasted like it was missing something . Maybe more cheese , maybe some salt and pepper and the bread crumbs threw me off . For a resturant setting bbq place the food wasn't terrible , it wasn't un eatable ... Would I go back again ? Sure I would just stay away from the baked beans , Mac and cheese and pulled pork / chicken .

Yelp
Baby Ribs were tender but with no flavor beside de gallon of sauce on them. The sweet potatoes fries were burned. The corn-on-a-cob tasted like frozen corn from Publix. My spare ribs were dry and hard to eat (like a shoe sole. The best two things were Paula (our server) and the bread toast.

Dawn M.

Yelp
Great portions and delicious ribs. We usually get it to go and they remember all the condiments.

Noah P.

Yelp
The Manager Paula is EXTREMELY rude, not only did she take out her frustration out on me with a previous customer, but also overheard her being RACIST talking about the previous customer in front of other customers. it almost seemed like she owned the place. She does need to be talked to about her attitude, also to to mention there was no one really here, I can't even imagine how she acts when the place is full
google avatar

Steve T.

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this place forever and finally made it in for lunch. There was only one other customer, and the server was quick to welcome me in and advise me that there was no chicken or spareribs even though they are on the menu. I ordered the baby back ribs, with onion rings and coleslaw. The ribs come sauced with some extra sauce on the side but no choice of sauces here. The best thing about the ribs was they did have a char which I love but were largely unremarkable. The onion rings were the shining star of the meal. Cut thick and panko breaded they were very good. The coleslaw was past its shelf life, and I wouldn't eat it. Texas toast was a nice addition but also unremarkable. The server brought me a baked potato to replace the coleslaw and that was big and perfectly cooked. This was largely mediocre in my opinion as there is much better available elsewhere. I didn't find the lunch specials priced as well as what other barbeque restaurants offer. Not great but not terrible other than the coleslaw.

Yelp
The food was excellent, the service was superior and we would definitely go back. The drummer of Iron Maiden owns the restaurant and so it is all decked out with cool band items etc. the ribs were fall of the bone amazing and the baked beans had so much flavor, the potato salad is some of the best I've had. The ribs were not the least bit salty which is why they were so good. I ordered enough to take some home and the ribs for lunch the next day were even better. The drinks were good, my husband had the sangria and said it was some of the best he's ever had and I ordered an angry orchard beer which was nice. Our server was kind and sweet, wish I remembered her name.
google avatar

G L.

Yelp
I've been wanting to check this place out for a while and last night we had the chance. My husband and I drove up and looked over the menu and ordered. We took a casual walk for about 10 minutes and came back for our order. The cashier was super nice and was very patient with us the entire time! We got home and not only was the order correct, it was MAGNIFICENT! The 1/2 rack of ribs fell off the bone! The beans were perfectly done and the pulled pork was juicy and tender! I would have liked a few more vegetables in the mixed veggies, but the meat and garlic bread satisfied us plenty! Thank you so, so much for this experience! We will be ordering take-out from here again!
google avatar

Kristie J.

Yelp
Very sorry to leave such a negative review but it was purely about the food. I would actually give the service four stars. We were seated quickly ordered quickly and food decently quickly. Really it's weird to say this but it was some of the worst food we've ever had. We ordered the pulled chicken and pulled pork plate. It was so dry it felt like this was cooked a few days ago and really dried out. Additionally the sides were frozen and reheated to order. Normally a barbecue place is as good as they put attention into their sides. The fact that there is no attention or no care in the food was very disappointing. We ended up feeling so terrible that we took our food to go in threw it right in the trash. As someone in the food industry you really have to not care for the food to be this inedible.
google avatar

Christina B.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this place. Yes the food is good, but the staff goes out of their way to be so helpful and just great people. I had a catering order and everything came out perfect but within an hour, I ran out of food and had to run back and buy more. Everything was very tasty. The pulled chicken pulled pork, the ribs, potato salad, beans, and mac & cheese and the mashed potatoes. Everyone was scraping their plates. We will definitely be returning. Thank you again for accommodating us.
google avatar

Julie F.

Yelp
You don't have to be a fan of rock n roll or even Iron Maiden to like this casual restaurant. Frankly, I admit that I wouldn't recognize the owner (former drummer with the band) nor any of their hit songs. But I'd seen a TV review program rerun about the place ages ago and had bookmarked it. We were heading home down 441 and looking for lunch. We'd stopped at 2 other places only to find one permanently closed and the other not open for dine in. We were thrilled that they were serving and not busy. The one gal waiting on everyone was friendly and personable. And our food came out pretty fast and nice and hot. I ordered their lunch special of half rack of ribs with 2 sides -- opting for baked beans and mashed potatoes. They're only serving baby backs at the moment (due to Covid) so I didn't have to choose between them and their spare ribs. The ribs were lightly coated in bbq sauce and were literally falling off the bone. The meat was tasty and tender. The beans were sweetly seasoned just like I like them. And the mashed potatoes and brown gravy were good, too. The portion was large, and I tried to eat it all, but wound up with half my ribs and most of my beans to take home for a later meal. The food was just as good reheated for my lunch the next day. The place is small with a bandstand along one wall. There's lots of band memorabilia all over. I liked the Egyptian themed items -- the king tut and the mummies. There are tables as well as booths. Parking was easy in the shared lot outside. And prices for the lunch specials are decent. I'd definitely get their ribs again. In fact, I'd probably order the same meal again -- sides and all. Long live Rock n Roll!
google avatar

Yelp
This place has been on the wife's bookmarked places for awhile and we were hungry and in the neighborhood. A friendly welcome and invite to seat ourselves anywhere we felt comfortable. After looking over the menu with many great offerings and lunch specials we chose the Half Rack of Baby Back ribs from the lunch specials. The ribs come with two sides, we chose beans and mashed potatoes with gravy, great choices! Our ribs were tender, fall off the bone, and with just the right amount of tasty sauce! Great lunch and experience!

Howard S.

Yelp
The food and service was very good! The baby back ribs were tender. The onion rings as part of the trio appetizer was very good. The chicken fingers & the mozzarella sticks standard. The tables aren't very large for 4 people but we got by. It's one of the places I would go back to for ribs & the prices very fair.

Yelp
Rock 'n' roll ribs is owned by iron maiden drummer, Nicko McBrain. Not only is he a talented drummer, but he does pretty well with barbecue too! Their motto at the restaurant is "where BBQ meets metal". Pretty darn accurate as the restaurant is decorated with all of the accolades that Nicko and Iron Maiden have received over the years. It's great to walk around and check out the gold records and merchandise all over the walls. They have a mini stage with a drum kit on it and a TV above that plays a constant loop of Iron Maiden concerts, which is really cool. If you're lucky, you may see Nico hanging out at the restaurant one night. Aside from the coolness of the restaurant the barbecue is darn good too! I love that the menu items are all named after rock 'n' roll, or concert related terms. Our favorite to get is called the appetite of the beast. It's a huge amount of food so be prepared to have a couple people go in with you on this one. For $68 you get one and a half racks of ribs, barbecued chicken, pulled pork and pulled beef with four pieces of garlic, toast and corn, as well as coleslaw and french fries. The amount of food is mind-boggling and you can't beat it for the price. If you're not that hungry or if you don't have friends to share of course you can get single servings of their BBQ dishes. I happen to think the ribs are the best thing on the menu though, the other stuff is pretty good too. Rock 'n' roll ribs has been open for quite a few years now and it's still always seems to be busy every time I visit. For good barbecue and a fun atmosphere you need to check it out. Especially if you're an Iron Maiden fan!

Yelp
Small but comfortable inside. Only 3 booths for seating. Everyone else gets a wooden chair/table. The server was fantastic. Very friendly. I'll start with the cons: The pulled pork was plentiful on my sandwich. But it had been smoked somewhere (i believe) else and reheated until it was dry and almost flavorless. It took a lot of sauce to get it down. And the BBQ beans had a flavor that was unpleasant. I'm not sure what spice or ingredient is was. But there's just too much of it. And I found no meat in it. Now, the pros: The onion rings are superb. Corn meal battered and crisp. The ribs are fantastic. Like I mentioned previously. I'm not sure where or when they were smoked. But they were still moist and fell apart with a fork. The flavor was good. The coleslaw and the fries are at least on par with what you would expect. So, I liked it. Probably not something I'd give 4 stars to. But the server was worth the extra star

Yelp
This restaurant has been in this location for years now and I've always known about it...but for some reason I figured it was a quick stop n' go kinda place. Didn't realize it was a full service restaurant. That's my baaaad. I've always enjoyed bbq food but never really craved it to the point of having it at a restaurant...but this trip to Rock n' Roll Ribs may have changed that. The restaurant itself is very small and tucked away in a sleepy plaza. The exterior lighting is dim so you wouldn't really notice it from the road. Kinda makes you think, how has it been in business as long as it has...After your first visit, you'll understand. Step inside and it feels like you're in a rock band museum. Awesome ambiance for a laid back lunch or dinner. The staff is accommodating and attentive and the food.... The food...we started with medium wings and they were cooked to perfection. Their wing sauce is excellent. Def some of the best wings I've had locally. Next up was the Combo Platter...it included 1/2 rack of ribs, 1/4 chicken, sweet potato fries, a baked potato and garlic toast. The ribs were honestly the most tender I've ever had. I tried to grab one by the bone and the entire bone slid right off and the meat remained behind. Have you ever had ribs that melted in your mouth? Yumm. Next up, the garlic toast...simple and delicious. The sweet potato fries are just as good as flannigans and Tap 42 (which are my favs). The chicken was also delicious and cooked to perfection. As for the baked potato?...Well I hadn't touched it with dinner...I was way too full. But I'll def be eating it today for lunch with the rest of the leftovers since the portion size was humongous. All-in-all, if you enjoy bbq, this is your spot. Take my word for it. Come here. Eat. Smile. Repeat. Thank me later ;)

Yelp
Strip mall location with a hard rock theme and about 20 tables (not a big place). The service quick and pleasant and quite well done. Greeted coming in. Good timing, including a check by two different waitresses to be sure I was satisfied. One of my pet peeves is being brought the bill before I'm done eating and the main dishes are cleared and that didn't happen. It was nice to not feel rushed. The food was unfortunately a little disappointing. I really liked the 1/2 ribs and 1/2 pulled pork plate and it came with plenty of food. However, I felt the flavor was lacking and sometimes too sweet, other times just not exciting. The sauce is very ketchup based but not so spicy but just sweet and ketchupy. Coming from a ketchup lover, that's saying something! I struggled with this review because the food presented well but the taste did not excite, the service was excellent and the location was just ok. I can't quite get over 3.5 so I had to settle on a 3. If you prefer a non-spicy bbq, definitely consider it a 4.

Yelp
4 of us went to dine at rockand roll ribs. we have been regulars since restaurant opening.3 of us had rib slabs, and 1 diner had wings cooked well well well well. The ribs came promptly and 5 minutes later the wings arrived UNDERCOOKED. My friend sent them back to be refried. The rib eaters had all finished and still no wings. The wing eater decided after waiting so long 15 to 20 minutes to cancel the order and the SERVER/ MANAGER BECAME IRATE. She started taking our food away b4 we finished boxing it up but we stopped that promptly. I stated that you are okay with letting a diner leave without eating and the serving manager stated yelling call the owner I dont care loud enough for other diners to hear. She contined saying this as we left the restaurant to never ever eat there again. STAY AWAY EAT ELSEWHERE THIS WAS ATROCIOUS zNO APOLOGY NO COURTESY JUST PLAIN VILE NASTINESS. Date of visit: February 2024

Yelp
I've been here three times trying different things off the menu. Tonight I enjoyed the beef platter. It was good BUT the pulled pork is the best in my opinion. If you're looking for a fancy place to dine this isn't it. Good food and service then give this BBQ restaurant a try. Nice menu, lots to choose from. The poppers from the appetizer selections is one of my favorites. Never an issue for parking. Good for groups. Fair priced for the size of heaping portions. The decor is pretty kewl as well...definitely goes with the name! Located just off State road 7 in Coconut Creek hidden along a strip mall. Give them a try. Open lunch and dinner til 9 p.m. P.S. The chocolate cake is to die for!

Yelp
its been a while but a few years ago I had been to this place a few times in a short duration. The place is not large by any means but the Q is excellent and the portions are massive. While I travel extensively in the southeast US, I get tired of BBQ, this place suffers in that I was just in Kansas City, or Lexington NC and had BBQ. but if I am around and I want BBQ, this is a tried and true location. The music is good too.

Yelp
From all the raving reviews I did expect better quality food than received. I ordered a family sized meal for 4 to go. Ribs- Dry, no flavor and my husband couldn't even tell what type of meat was used due to the off smell Chicken - Dry and chewy/tough Fries- Soggy, unslated Mashed potatoes - my daughter spit out immediately (and this is one of her favorite foods) Corn on the cob - no butter or salt?? They had a strange texture I am giving the restaurant a 2 star because when I walked inside to pick up my order the staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere seemed fun. Maybe a good place for drinks, but I will not be trying the food again.
