I love this place. Great atmosphere and amazing staff. I haven't tried everything on the menu yet but the steak was delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked to the temp I requested, it was well seasoned and the chimichurri sauce was amazing. The French fries and salad that came with it were very good as well. The vinaigrette they used was delicious. Highly recommended.

This has been a great addition to the community and a cool little spot. Love the selection of beers and food. Hamburger is awesome. The staff is super chill, friendly and always helpful.

The Long Island City location is quite accessible but has very limited seating. This location in the Rockaways has ample seating and food available. The beer selection is still the same as the other location and just as good. This would be a good location to enjoy a beer while visiting the beaches nearby.

An interesting selection of beers with friendly and knowledgeable bar staff. They were in the midst of installing a huge projection screen for sport fans (maybe soap operas, who knows? lol). The food offered by an outside vendor exceeded expectations.

Large taproom located in an old garage on a quiet street. Eight of their own beers on draft, plus cider and wine. Beers to stay are available as a full or half pours. Get a flight of four if you can't make up your mind. They offer 64 and 32oz growler fills to go, as well as a selection of cold cans and bottles. If you get hungry the kitchen serves some basic bar food. The background music is not too loud and comes from an impressive collection of vinyl records. Plenty of boardgames and sport on a big screen keeps you entertained whether you're here with friends or alone. Outdoor seating perfect for warm summer evenings.

Great selection of beers, according to my husband. I wish they had a few juices or sodas on the menu – the only non-beer options aren't really suitable for pregnant people – but I get I'm not really the target customer. The outdoor area, which has loads of tables and benches, with string lights, is lovely. The pizzas they sell are absolutely delicious.

Open in summer and winter!!! Delicious local brews. Super chill place. Plays records. Will fix bikes for you and the community. Has a projector. Perfect to kill time, relax, meet nice people both look locals and beach people. Oh and good beer and super friendly staff. Does not technically serve food but has a relationship with Goody's around the corner.

Awesome place to hang out. Great beer, good music, tons of bar games including foosball and a mini ping pong table. Staff are nice. Huge outside area. If we lived in rollaway, we'd hang out here all the time.

A very good brewery hidden away in Rockaway. The decor may not be high end, but there is a pool table and a large indoor and outdoor seating area. I go to a brewery for good beer, and am not concerned about the prettiness of the brewery. The bartender, Dillon, gave great service and gave good pours. Very impressed with the service. Both of the IPA beers I am having are very good, the Rockaway IPA and the Hawaiian Pizza IPA. It is very good to note that they still serve beer in the 16 ounce glasses at $7 to $8 for a pint, and are not overcharging their customers at $9 or $10 for a 12 ounce pour. I say that if you are getting 25% less beer, then you should be getting charged 25% less, not more. That definitely adds a star to the rating. Is a six star rating available?

Great stop after a hot day at the beach! Not sure if it's an every-weekend affair, but they had a farmers market setup yesterday. It took away from the indoor seating, but it was super cute and seemed to bring a lot of attention in. They have lots of refreshing drafts with unique taste notes- I tried the Hawaiian Pizza IPA- was the perfect way to cool off! My favorite part? Their brewery cat, Pidge- he's perfectly at home sitting with the crowd

Came here after a Long Beach day it was great. I'm not much of a beer fan but I had the Hawaiian Pizza and it was pretty good! They have a ton of tables and chairs inside, a stage, and a bar area where you can sit and enjoy your beer. There's a cat (Pidge) that walks around & on the counter so if you aren't a fan of cats, this is your warning. Ultimately, super chill place, chill music, chill staff.. come check them out :)

Rockaway Brewing is open during Covid. Walk on up and stand in the hula hoop to grab your beers to go. they had about 5 beers on tap, to take as a road soda. and various other cans to go. They are serving food from the food truck. no bathroom service. quick & easy. try their sour!

Cute new addition to the Rockaways. If you are a lover of beers and tacos then come here. It's a hidden find. I wouldn't mind coming back for a beer or two. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The tacos were eh. It's also kid friendly as I saw people with their babies and little ones during daylight of course. It's almost reminds me of a Biergarten but on a small scale. Cool place to chill and hang.

How can you serve warm chardonnay,,plus you don't have ice to help the situation,,and to add your serving wine in a beer glass, for that don't sell wine

Great brewery and a fantastic venue. We had a few different beers including a Pilsner and a couple pale ales. Rockaway Brewing is known for quality, sessionable beers. The atmosphere is relaxed. They had a few tables inside with lots of seating outside. The tables are well spaced. They've got a bike rack to lock up bikes. The kitchen has an impressive oven but it didn't seem like the oven was being operated when we visited. The location is pretty close to the beach and the subway.

This is a dope spot to go to after spending a day at the beach. They have outdoor seating so you can kickback and relax as you eat some tacos and drink. Depending on what you order a set of two tacos can be $10-12 which may be pricey in comparison to other places but I can assure you that it's worth it. The tacos are heavily filled two may honestly be enough. They have tofu tacos for all my plant based eaters they are good. The shrimp tacos are bomb as well. Check them out!

Cool brewery near jfk. About 20 min Uber ride. Weather was great so sitting outside made it perfect. They have a taco truck permanently on the property serving food. The beer is delicious. I had the 1875 pale ale. The beach is not far. I would recommend coming here while the sun is out. Drink couple of beers. Then head down to the beach....

Service is fantastic. Beer is delicious. The owner (Pidge) was absolutely purrfect. This was my first time being at the beach location during the winter time. The indoor area is nice if you want to stay away from the winter elements. The outdoor area had plenty of seating and at the center you have a nice fire pit to keep you warm. During the summer this brewery is the place to be after a day of sunbathing at the beach.

I freakin' love this place and will drag my sandy overheating body blocks over here (on foot) after a good day at the beach. A year after my last visit, it's still worth the trek. On a recent visit, I particularly enjoyed the Amerkan pils -crisp with a bit of backbone. Matched perfectly with my porgy platter, which was a surprisingly good deal, at 15 bucks. Enough food to feed two, when you factor in the tortillas and bowl of black beans.

Its hard to rate when some things are really good and some are okay. People are nice and polite. Its a hipster place. So taking in my dose of bearded visuals and skin in need for spf 50 treatment. You order your tacos at the truck. The choices are simple. We ordered fish and beef and a beet salad. With a melon lemonade. We sat outside. There ate tables unfortunately no umbrellas. So its kinda tough in the full sun. The lemonade was absolutely delightful. The beef taco excellent. They are a bit on the small side though. The fish taco's dough was a bit hard which is disappointing. The salad tasted really good but the beet were slices of raw beet. And that wooden spoon can't take that. So had to eat it with my hands. The avocado sauce was great. So its 3 stars

Went there with coworkers and had some really good food. We ordered to share and that included steak, chimichurri fries, empanadas (all kinds) and topped it off with a nice refreshing beer. I would definitely go back! My only complaint is that we were a crowd over 10+ and they had a few bench/table setups but to fit together, they offered unsteady folding chairs, which weren't the most comfortable. Regardless, thumbs up.

A perfect 5 stars for this hidden gem. My husband and I stumbled upon this place after the release of "10 hippie things to do in the Rockaway's article" ty Yelp for making me curious of what else may be in the rockaways. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a few refreshing brews. For lack of better words all the beers I tried were deliciously fresh. Sunday bartender was very friendly and so was one of the owners that we met. If you're looking for a nice chill vibe i highly recommend this spot. (Ps it's also perfect for large groups)

Pandemic 2020 review I biked over to Rockaway brewing on a hot day. They are serving beer and food to go. I really enjoyed the Hawaiian pizza IPA. It was hazy, hoppy and strong. I tried an unfiltered larger which was a fresh regular style of beer. Not a ton of flavor, but very drinkable, especially on the beach. My friend who can't stand craft beer enjoyed it. I also saw a few people drinking pints in plastic cups on the street outside. However if you do roll down to the brewery, do us all a favor, grab your beer and go, please don't crowd around the entrance or anywhere else right now.

We had a great time here last Sunday. The beer was fresh and delicious. The permanent food stand thats outside the main tasting room had some FANTASTIC Mexican food. It complimented the beer well. The tasting room is uniquely decorated. A lot of vibrant colors as well as some interesting pieces. The only drawback was the service wasn't terribly great, waited a long time to be served (not many people were at the bar at the time). And the server didn't seem to know much about the beers as well. All in all, we cannot wait to get back there!

Very different then what I'm use to but I really like it. It's very chill and casual. Their beer selection is pretty good. Nice calm music selection. My friend introduced me to this place because it's not far from her job. Hidden jem. They have outdoor seating and indoor. Will be returning.

An absolute gem in the neighborhood. I love how this brewery is located where you think there will be nothing. A bike ride from the beach this is the perfect stop to cool down after a day at the beach or prefect spot to grab some beers before going to the beach. Besides the great beer a taco truck is right out front in the yard for you to munch on when ever you get hungry. With the open seating this place is great for groups and dancing to the records they have which is unbelievably a large collection. There is even a section to buy records. The only thing I would recommend to the owners are more board games as the business grows. Cheers

Kind of killing a Sunday afternoon before heading home. Stopped at the Rockaway Brewing Company for a flight and some tacos. Shrimp tacos were really yummy, mushroom tacos not as good but still tasty. Beers were good and the vibe was very relaxed. Would hit this again if I were back this way!

Visited Rockaway Brewing Company on Saturday afternoon. Loved the space and the vibes much more than the beer. Quality: Tried four of the seven beers they had on the menu, Bohemian Pils, Sun Visor Citrus Sour, Tidal Variation IIPA, and Black Gold Stout. Tidal Variation was by far my favorite, a fruity and tropical IPA with a smoother finish than I expected. The other selections were underwhelming. I would avoid Bohemian Pils, but neither the sour or stout were very impressive either. For food we got Breakfast Nachos, Savory Ricotta Toast, and Avocado Toast. All solid options to go along with some day drinking. Quantity: I do think they pour flights, but with a smaller menu, we stuck with full pours. Value: $6 or $7 for a Draft Beer. Ambiance: We visited the Rockaway Brewing Company location way out in Rockaway, Queens. It is a cool little tap room that is not far from the beach. The space has a good sized outdoor patio with picnic tables and a large open space area. The bar is along the right wall with the kitchen nearby. A small record shop takes up space along the opposite wall. These extras ensure good music and delicious smells during your visit. Crowd: On a beautiful spring day, the outdoor area was very busy. Lots of people hanging out with their dogs and children. Service: The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Parking: Plenty of street parking in the area.

This is a gem in Arverne! We walked in for a drink on Tuesday night which happened to be bingo night. Such a fun afternoon -- everyone is super nice!

Love this place. Their beers are absolutely delicious. As for what's on the the menu always check Instagram because it's always different. For October it was Octoberfest and this month it's all vegan/veggie options from Brewery Bites by Clara Cakes. OMFG ! Clara you rock. We ordered the curly fries, which might have been the best I've ever had, then we had the Ricotta Vegetable Melt (5 stars), and Fried Tofu Sandwich (5 stars). Everything was absolutely delicious. I tip my hat to you Clara. Your food was an explosion of flavors. I can't believe how you made that tofu sandwich. Oh yeah the pistachio chocolate vegan cake was amazing. Order from here people !!!

I loved this place so much I didn't want to leave! Plenty of outdoor seating, a free brewery tour, and right next to all the best rides Coney Island has to offer! What a fun summer experience. The staff is friendly and the space is clean. They offer build-your-own beer flights, merch, love music and fun events. Definitely a place you can visit again and again!

This is a nice spot in the Rockaways. Wish it would be closer to the beach so you can get that nice ocean smell. The brewery is amazing and very hipster everything is brewed on the spot. The locals are friendly the staff is very helpful and they are very knowledgeable of there own product. No complaints here on that part. The food from the little taco stand outside could be a little more but hey what can you say. Food is good and not bad. So can't go wrong with it, also wish they had more of a Mexican selection. But my friends keep it tasty and let me know what you think.

The taco truck and most importantly the staff and chefs that run it are amazing and you can tell it has been prepared with the upmost love and care. The mushroom tinga tostada and house made pico is a must if it's your first time. Dogs are welcome.

Wow. Words (almost) fail me. Have you had that experience where you go to a brew pub and the beers are .... Okay? Or worse? Yeah, me too. This is NOT that place. First of all, the service by Tristan was OUTSTANDING. He kept a close eye on all those near the bar needing attention, and described the beers on tap in detail. AND .... Just kept pouring and being super cool. Nice chat about Rockaway Beach and the future as well. And secondly ... The BEER! Yes, so very good. They apparently got famous brewing their English Style Ale, and I can see (taste) why! I live this stuff, and am taking a growler of it home. And a T shirt. I tried every beer they had on tap. All were good, some I loved, some just good. Will I be coming back? Well, this IS my neighborhood, so HELL YES!!

Rockaway brewing is a beer, beach and palate experience. The place makes you feel like you are in Southern California or Portland, Oregon. This brewery is always a destination when I bike in the Rockaways. It's spacious and has so many quirky, cool things about it, like a red car that is parked in the outside space and kayaks sitting in the huge, spacious tap room. Not only is the beer delicious. My personal favorite is the black gold. The taco food truck served up some very tasty bites. One note is that you want to come here with cash for the taco truck. There is an atm on site. This place is chill to come on your own to read or with a group of people. It's also dog friendly, which is always a plus.

Super friendly bartenders, incredibly chill vibe. A little hidden away, but nothing's too far around here, and worth the walk. Big, open inside with records shelved behind bar. Outdoor seating area open and sunny, with taco stand (in case you were debating whether to go to Tacoway Beach first like me, so I didn't try these tacos, but they looked good). Had the Cloudwatcher -- nice, light witbier, perfect for a hot day.

So we stopped by on a Saturday night and were surprised there wasn't too many people but there was a good crowd around 8-9pm. There was a band setting up and everyone just about everyone was laying on a thick layer of bug spray. Husband and I ordered our grub and found a standing table inside. Food let lots to be desired. It looked good but there was so much going on in a taco. I feel like they just complicated it. Flavors were competing, vinegary, salty, and sweet. I probably wouldn't go back just for tacos. The beer was great!

Great beers accompanied with graffiti, vinyls, foosball, and a red fiat. Chill vibes along with a food truck where you can get delicious tacos outside. We've been to their LIC location many times, but I have to say this original location is awesome. Such a perfect place to wind down and have a great beer on a summer day.

Most of the bartenders are fantastic. This area could use more places like this. Pool table, nice patio, and a projector make for a good time

Good beer, got the 1875 Pale Ale and liked it. The decor is pleasant and it's comfortable to sit in. I like the casual atmosphere of kids and dogs, though I know that's not for everyone. Took off a star because of the food situation. Breweries usually have a bring your own grub in, but there is a kitchen attached to the brewery. Maybe in the summer it's nicer, but in the cooler weather, the food was bland and overpriced. And the shame of it is is that there is an incredible Jamaican bbq joint with delicious cheap food 2 minutes away by foot. If I could bring in my own grub, I could see myself excited to go and have goat roti or jerk chicken and wash it down with beers. But since for me it's only beer, it's probably not worth the trek from Woodside.

Rockaway is where my heart is... and will remain. Rockway Brewery is a perfect-for-all-ages spot with great vibes, a taco truck, and a really awesome high-spirited, super stoked owner who clearly has a keen interest in making his spot the best. Great beer and a great place to go post-surf if you want to avoid the insane crowds at RBSC.

Stopped here before and after the beach because, damn, this place is perfect* *perfect means: great beers, great vibes, great staff, great music. Just by going here you will be cooler, more successful in relationships and become more attractive

This had been a "go to" place for us when we first came to NY. This was our first visit in about 8 weeks...life happens In the past, it was a nice, comfortable, inviting atmosphere Now, not so much. Signs posted everywhere stating the patio is only for people eating...no standing/no hanging out So, my husband and I order drinks and food...we grab a bench to wait for our food...in front of us is ONE person sitting at a picnic table that could seat several people...not eating, not drinking...huh, just sitting. My husband wanted another beer...but, we had finished OUR food...so we had to leave...we didn't feel comfortable to sit, enjoy another beer and chill a bit Ya know, rules are great but they should be enforced for everyone... We left with a bad taste...we may or may not return... Also, no dogs allowed anymore because there is now an unseen cat!!

Good beer, relaxed atmosphere, good food (had a wood-fired pizza last visit). Have lost a few hours there a time or two. A little off the beaten path but that's a positive more than a negative for me. Nice selection of canned beers too.

Perfect spot to unwind year-round, with a huge selection of beer, pool, pinball, outside seating, (often) live music, good food -- everything you could want or need.

Fish for two is the way to go unless you with 3 people. Chill atmosphere. Great beer. DJ spinning vinyl in the middle of the day. This doesn't feel like Rockaway. Feels like I'm on vacation. Highly recommend this place. Can't wait to try it in the evening hours.

Loved the atmosphere here. Came this past weekend with friends and family and we loved that it wasn't super crowded! They play vinyls and we loved the citrus sour beers. The garlic parm wings were also delish!! I will definitely be coming back

Everything about the brewery itself is FANTASTIC. All the beers on tap were delicious (of course I tried a little of each). Staff is super nice and knowledgeable; even the crowd that it draws is approachable about their recommendations. They have good music and some games to play while hanging out with your friends. Bathrooms are clean and the decorations are awesome. Took a star off for the area and parking. It was actually pretty difficult to find. For an off time of the year, street parking was hard to obtain. Since there are other businesses in the area, I figured it wouldn't be too difficult, but still had to circle the sketch area for quite some time.

Friendly staff. Nice vibe. The beer is absolutely delicious. I had the English Amber Ale and Double IPA. You can also order food from the West Indian restaurant around the corner and eat it at the brewery. Also, they have a canning machine that will can any beer they have on tap, instantly so you can take it to go . The can art is also pretty cool.

There is an indoor and outdoor area. They welcome outside foods and offer a restaurant delivery service that is local. There is a very interactive photography activity that allows you to learn about locals and even strangers that wander through the area. Very friendly area and welcome all! Drinks are not overpriced at all!

Biked here on s beautiful summer day. Great pit stop. Tried all 6 beers. Bartender, Tristan, was awesome!!!! Lots of fun!!!

Fun place with great beers and very good mexican street food via a permament food truck. Tacos were good with the pork and shrimp being the best. They could use a better delivery system, because the don't deliver into the brewery. As a result our food was left on the counter for 10 min before we knew it was up. No air conditioning, so beware hot days.

We stopped at the brewery September 2017 (the brewery closest to 67th in Rockaway). Superb north east hoppy beers and other delicious unusual brews. Surfer vibe with little pretentiousness on a Saturday afternoon. Colorful spot. Indoor and outside seating and sipping stands available. Out-of-the-box taco and tostadas at the guest food truck. Guy running the truck was kind of a prick but hey that's not the brewery's fault and the flavor packed tacos make up for it. Bottom line is that the brews are well-crafted and if you like that Nor'easter hoppy froth, and the weird and funky sour stuff, you'll love their beer.

Nice place in the Rockaway,was visiting a friend and he took us there.Bartender was attentive and answered our questions about there beers and events.Will go back.
