RODEIO

Growing up, my family used to go to Rodeio in Jardins neighborhood. This was before The Place and Esplanada Grill even existed. Well, this was my first visit to Rodeio Iguatemi, and it did not disappoint, WOW!!! Sliced picanha is as great as I remember, fries and farofa too. I've been living abroad the last 21 years and do visit São Paulo as much anymore but, if you are up for steak a là carte, not rodízio, look no further as Rodeio is memorable each time. Thank you so much for giving me a taste of my childhood that is nearly 40 years gone! If alive, my Mom and Dad, Aunt and Uncle would absolutely love this restaurant and be regulars again. Cheers! 🍷

The experience started off already - we were mistreated by the bottom-floor waiters just because we were not as well-dressed as other people. They kept pushing for us to choose an appetizer, whereas they gave out the couvert for the others as they chose. We only got it after we ordered. They clearly thought we were not well-suited to be their guests. Nevertheless, the time at the main restaurant upstairs saved the meal. The waiters were extremely friendly and the food incredible delicious! We got a recommendation and it tasted as good as it looked. The petit gateau was nothing special though. And be ready to invest a bit on this meal - it was ~ R$200/person. I recommend this place for the food, but dress up in case you do not want to be mistreated.

The best picanha I’ve ever had in Brazil. I am obsessed with this place. The thing cut picanha In charcoal melted in my mouth. The fried rice with farofa it’s unbelievable tasty. Also their heart chicken it’s a great appetizer with a cold caipirinhas. I will always recommend Rodeio whenever you’re in São Paulo.

Had dinner tonight with my boyfriend’s family, we are visiting the city for the first time… the service was wonderful and the food was tasty!

One of the bests in town. Fine dining, excellent meat, cordial and warm hosts and waiters. Simply cannot beat this São Paulo staple .

The service here was the best we experienced on our entire trip to São Paulo and quite possibly anywhere we have been. The staff is extremely attentive. I was in the service industry for 18 years and this place is phenomenal in my opinion! Go here for steak and you will not be disappointed.

Very nice churrascaria experience. This is a more upscale lunch or dinner option in the mall. Food came quickly and the taste was great.

Their picanha was fantastic and the ambiance of the restaurant was really upscale. But ultimately this was our worst experience of all the restaurants we visited in São Paulo. I understand that not many folks speak English in Brazil. We kinda understood that going in. But at this place we felt like the wait staff were actually getting very frustrated with our lack of understanding of Portuguese. In any case that made for a very challenging evening that wasn't elevated by the sorta basic food they were serving at really extravagant prices. So yeah, we can't recommend this restaurant...

It was so disappointing. We had a reservation for last night but when we showed up the restaurant was close. It was nice to not be able to do reservation or received a cancellation before hand .

The best I have ever tried! The quality of the meat and the service was awesome! It is a little pricey but well worth it!
