Nestled in the Five Points neighborhood of Jacksonville, Rodrigo’s offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior is clean and cozy, setting the perfect tone for a relaxed and satisfying dining experience. The pizza is outstanding, a true tribute to Italian tradition. The dough is particularly noteworthy: well-fermented and matured, it results in a light, flavorful crust that’s both easy to digest and never heavy. The ingredients used are of excellent quality, selected to complement the dough without overpowering it. The balance of flavors and textures speaks to a deep understanding of the craft. The owner’s passion for real Italian pizza shines through in every detail, and the staff, likely family, bring warmth, attentiveness, and authenticity that make you feel right at home. Rodrigo’s is a must-visit for anyone craving genuine Italian pizza in Jacksonville. A highly recommended stop for both locals and visitors alike.

This restaurant is my daughter’s favorite, and I’d always been curious to try it. We finally went for her birthday dinner—and wow! Now I understand why she loves it so much. Their Italian pizzas are incredibly fresh and full of flavor. They ferment the dough for 72 hours, which clearly sets them apart from your typical pizza. I usually don’t enjoy eating the crust, but theirs was surprisingly delicious—it’s not often I find myself raving about the edge of a pizza! I ordered the Mystic Mushroom pizza, and the truffle oil was a perfect match. My husband had the Sizzle Drizzle, which was also very tasty, especially with the chili-infused olive oil on the side. It actually reminded me of how I used to enjoy Italian pizza with olive oil back in Japan. My daughter went with the Margherita topped with plenty of arugula—it was spot on. Honestly, the crust alone makes me want to come back, and I definitely will!

Fantastic gluten-free options and outstanding service! The atmosphere truly felt like a slice of Italy. We loved it so much, we went back twice during our trip.

THE BEST PIZZA- absolutely YES YES YES. If crust is important in your overall pizza experience, make plans to visit Rodrigos. The BELLA pizza was cooked to perfection. All the ingredients were fresh, flavorful, the service was fast, friendly. GO NOW ! !

Pizza was good, deep-fried calzone was good but I feel like the regular would have been better. Deep fried was very doughy and hard to cut into. Pizza could use a little more cheese but flavor was good.

First time here. We wanted to try the #1 pizza place in Jacksonville. It wasn't a bad experience at all. Small space but cozy. Inside and outside options for dinning in. I was surprised that it was very warm inside. I don't know if their air conditioner was broken if they even had it. But they did have fans. Service was great and very helpful. He did ask if it was our first time here and explained who they are are what type of pizza they do. He also explained their menu. They have one size which is a 12" pizza. They have it on display at the counter when you order so you know how it comes and how big the slices are. You get 4 slices. Which was enough for me and my husband. They have specialty pizzas or you can create your own. We created our own with mushrooms, pepperoni and Italian sausage. I also got the arancini. Everything was very tasty. Except the marinara that came with the arancini. It was bland for our taste. We definitely want to come back and try their calzone.

Google
Just WOW. The ingredients are good quality and super fresh, the crust is absolutely delish. Tried both the NG flatbread and the sweet love panuozzo, and it genuinely has to be the best pizza in Jax. Gluten-free bread and crusts are usually very dense, gritty, and crumbly… Absolutely not the case here. I could not even tell the difference between the non-gluten and normal crust!! The non-gluten version even has that signature bounce back as you chew like any regular bread!! Never had that before! And the owner, Alex, is an absolute GEM. He was super charismatic and friendly, chatted with us for a bit and took the time to explain some of the menu items to me as it was my first visit, and I was stumped as to what to try first! Absolutely sold me on the Sweet Love Panuozzo and let me tell you O M G… It’s a must-try. So incredibly astounded by Rodrigo’s, I can’t stop raving to my fiancé and our friends about it! Can’t wait to come back soon and show it to the gang. 🫶🏻 Thank you so much for the amazing lunch! Much love! 🫶🏻

Google
I’ve been GF all my life and have tried many gluten free pizzas all over the country. I have to say I was shocked, their pizza blew all others out of the water. Their crust is so light and crispy with so many different topping options. Not only do they have GF pizza but they also have GF Calzones! The restaurant is family owned and their passion for quality ingredients, attentive service, and alternative options for all diet restrictions/preferences is refreshing. 5 points is lucky to have another gem.

Yelp
Was okay. A little soggy. I could do without that much self service. Add a few more thoughts to post this review.

Yelp
Man this was so freaking good! The crust! That's all I have to say, the crust was incredible. It was so light and bouncy!? The shop is the old Crane Ramen, very comfortable to enjoy your pie. The calzone was delicious filled with a lemony ricotta and mozzarella cheese, perfect crust! The nutty mortadella pizza was also so good, had to get it cause of the uniqueness. It was light and heavenly! *Chefs Kiss*

Yelp
I ordered for the first time today.(Togo) The crust is great. It has great flavor, thin, chewy and perfectly cooked. I was expecting the Georgie to have more toppings and look much better based on the pictures I've seen including the one on the website. We also had a margharita. I decided to give them a try since I was in the area. I can't speak on the service or atmosphere because I didn't go inside, my son did. I'd try again another day. Maybe it's better when you dine in. The crust was my favorite part.

Yelp
Delicious pizza, layered with flavors and a crust I could eat all by itself. Also enjoy dipping the crust in the pesto on the Blanca, yum! Easy ordering on their app plus a Mother's Day coupon made this the perfect Friday pickup after work.

Yelp
This may be the best pizza you will have in Jax. Made with so much heart and passion.

Yelp
Eating here on the patio this past Saturday night was a treat. I was greeted by the owner or head chef's cute little daughters, who also rang up my order at the front counter. So adorable. This family owned and operated business was so clean, so organized, had a welcoming aesthetic both on the inside and outside. I chose to eat on their patio and people watch since we were experiencing what north Florida likes to call "fake fall" for the night. It was so nice out. We ran into fellow foodie/yelp elite friends the first 5 mins we were on the patio. Already off to a great start! Sasha and her hubs were eating nearby in five points. To order, we got a Caesar salad to share, the Burrata di Oro, a Margarita pizza with fresh jalepenos added, and Georgie's pizza(sausage, peppers, onion, jalepeno) with a glass of wine and a beer. To my surprise, this establishment also serves Hyppo pops!!! One of my favorite local businesses in northeast Florida! Unfortunately they were out of hyppo pops for the evening, but I'm excited to go back and grab some next time. The flavor of the dough was impressive. The burrata is wrapped in a warm dough, with prosciutto roasted inside, all resting on a bed of arugula. So tasty. The ingredients were fresh, the service was hospitable, and the overall ambiance was a win. I wish I would have known about this place sooner so I could have stopped in months ago to try.

Yelp
I'm not a reviewer, but it was spot on true Neapolitan pizza, and dang good! I just happened upon it but it now may be my favorite Jacksonville pizza. Rennas and V pizza have their place, but for a more elevated pizza night out with nice wine this would be my choice.

Yelp
Horrible service . My husband and I decided to try this pizza which has high ratings , we got there 30 minutes before they close. We ordered our pizza to eat it there , a young man served us the pizza ins box to go and let us know and other customers that there was time to close and he was serving the pizza in a box . In other words he was kicking out . My husband asked him why was he putting the pizza in a box and if he wanted us to leave . He said he is not paid enough and they all had to be out at 9pm . So we took our pizza and left . Pizza can't taste good after you kick customers out . No trying this place again. You can't have a good product and bad service .

Yelp
Boyfriend and I went here 20 minutes before they closed. Horribly inconsiderate, I know!! We felt so bad because we were running late but MAN the staff was so nice about it. There was one other couple there, and we told the staff that it was our first time here and asked if it would be too much trouble since it was a Friday night and I'm sure they've been working hard all week. Alex, the owner, said no problem and then gave us the whole spiel about Rodrigo's and their neopolitan style pizza (about a 5 minute explanation of their entire menu). I asked for his if I should get the mystic mushroom or the Bella, and Alex recommended the mushroom because he loves the richness of the truffle oil. I compromised not getting the Bella by getting the burrata, which is basically the Bella but rolled! Boyfriend got the nutty mortadella since it was the most unique one on the menu. Everything came out so fast and WOW we were impressed with it all. It was my first time having burrata and it was the perfect amount of cheesy and rich and flavorful. The arugula, balsamic, and cherry tomatoes helped to cut the richness too and made it so yummy!! The mystic mushroom was SO GOOD. I love mushroom pizza, and Alex was right about the truffle oil taking it to the next level. Boyfriend really liked the nutty mortadella one and said the pistachio really worked on the pizza. We both were so impressed by how light and crunchy and soft the crust was. Alex asked us how everything was while he was cleaning up the restaurant, and we told him we loved everything so much! He and the team were so hospitable, and the restaurant itself is so clean, inviting, and has an intimate and cozy feel. We ate somewhat quickly so as to not delay them being able to close up, but we will definitely be back!! Our new favorite pizza place / restaurant for sure. Thank you guys for such a great experience!!

Yelp
Fast, friendly service! Clean and bright dining area. The pizza was good but not sure it was worth $20. The flavor wasn't anything outstanding, felt like it needed more garlic or seasoning to make the flavors stand out.

Yelp
I went up to Jacksonville last weekend to pay a visit to some old friends. Looking to celebrate our reunion; we decided to group up for lunch at the recently new Rodrigo's Craft Pizza spot in Riverside. Going in, there was a decent number of people sitting inside, but we were seated rather quickly. For lunch, we shared the following; 1x burrata di oro, 1x Blanca pie, and 1x Bella pie. Moving on with my review; the food was excellent. The appetizer burrata di oro came in an awesome baked bread shell with creamy burrata and prosciutto inside, drizzled with fresh balsamic glaze! The Blanca for a white pizza was very moist; packed nice punch of herb from basil, and chewy delicious crust! The Bella was loaded, yet it didn't feel overwhelming and packed with fresh flavor! Nice contrast of savory, sweetness, and acidity. Just note; this isn't your typical American pizzeria, but rather more like a traditional neopolitan type of joint. But nevertheless, the food was superb, and we'd definitely be returning here. My final verdict is a 5/5. Nicely done!

Yelp
I am so happy I ventured out to 5 points on my lunch break and checked this place out. The pizza was absolutely delicious. I believe I spoke to the owner who explained all the different options to chose from. I prefer a basic cheese when I try a new place. If there cheese slice/pie is decent then everything else should be too. We'll this pie was the bomb. Light and crispy crust, great undercarriage, the sauce had the perfect balance between zesty and sweet and the cheese was very fresh. Overall a very pleasant experience. Will definitely go back. And quite honestly hands down best neopolitan pizza here in Jax.

Yelp
Ambiance - super modern and well decorated - felt personable. The restaurant was awkwardly quiet even with 10 other folks sitting and eating. Food - my pizza was so good and the closest thing to a pizza I had in Sicily. However, I think it could use a bit more flavor in the sauce. Service- nothing to rave home about. The staff was nice but not personable if that makes sense.

Yelp
Have a George's, the Burrata D'oro, and a couple alcoholic bevs! Good food! One complaint: it's kinda hot in there (one less star for this). But the people are very nice! We told the owner we had never been there and he went over the whole menu with us! What a guy!

Yelp
Visited last month, we ordered 2 pizzas, the Nutty Mortadella and the Spicy Harvest. We also shared the Burrata di Oro appetizer. The pizzas are each big enough to feed 2 people and have generous toppings. We really enjoyed both pizzas and the spicy harvest came with a delicious side of aoili They are on the thinner side so it's best to eat them quickly as this style of pizza tends to get a bit cold/soggy if it sits. The appetizer was also very yummy and a unique take on a burrata dish. I really enjoyed the warm pizza dough and the goat cheese. This is a cute and quiet weeknight date spot if anyone is looking to plan a date night soon.

Yelp
Much needed update to five stars - in large part to the panuozzos, which are a unique item with huge flavor. I'd describe it as a crossover between a sandwich and a folded-over pizza slice, with sauce on the side to dip. The Sweet Love is outstanding. And the food here is across-the-board excellent.

Yelp
Rodrigo's pizza is definitely a top contender for best pizzas I've ever had. Customer service was excellent, so: Austin. Razer thin crispy bread tasty sauce and the perfect amount of cheese. With a touch of hot honey, amazing. Killed the whole pie and it sat just right. Highly recommend visiting if your craving a delicious Napoleon pizza or just pizza in general!

Yelp
After reading a review on facebook about this restaurant we decided to try it and it did not disappoint. I especially enjoyed the burrata d'oro. It was extremely flavorful and fresh. We also had a delicious pizza in which my husband devoured.
google avatar

Crystal W.

Yelp
At first I was skeptical of another pizza place in 5 points especially at the spot of former Crane Ramen which we liked. But I was pleasantly surprised by this place: solid pizza place that is better than Biggie's few doors down. You walk up to order and they give you a number that you place at your table. Then they bring the food out. Owner is very friendly although I was surprised he's not Italian. We ordered the margherita pizza which was good. Like pizza from Italy, they don't cut it into individual slices. Ask for anchovies in your Caesar salad. Tip: order the Aranciata drink which tastes like orange soda but is refreshing.
google avatar

Janie T.

Yelp
First off, super attentive staff who really knew the food. I got a pizza and absolutely loved it. Fresh produce and made to perfection. Not the largest selection in drinks but all the basics, and at reasonable prices. The restaurant itself was appealing..nice bright area, the decor well thought out and the vibe calm. Had a bit of an European feeling to it. Would definitely visit again! Oh, and they do takeout too
google avatar

Tiffany L.

Yelp
The pizza was so yummy that I completely forgot to take a picture of my Margherita pizza before I ate the whole thing, if that tells you anything. Everyone that works here is so nice and truly wants to give you the best time at their establishment. The pizzas are all amazing. The burrata? Delicious. The chicken wings were also super yummy. The Nutella pannuoto?? You MUST try it. 10/10. I'll be back soon :)

Yelp
Wonderful experience at Rodrigo's Craft Pizza this past weekend. Rodrigo's features outdoor (dog friendly) seating along with great interior seating that consists of wood floors, grey wood tables, benches and black and white decor. It's a great mix of casual dining and elegance. There is a family vibe here as well. They greet you warmly and work the front and kitchen. The kitchen really serves as the centerpiece inside. Great chill music plays and fans circulate around which is a nice touch. Most of their food is made brick oven style, and it's done extremely well. The pizza is just as good if not better than any other brick oven pizza I've had, and it's at a reasonable price point. We started with the Burrata appetizer. It was soft, rich, sticky parmigiano cheese dough filled with Prosciutto and burrata cheese. This sat on greens with cherry tomatoes and a sweet balsamic drizzle. Just a perfect blend of flavors. Delicious. We also ordered the Blanca. This was a home run. Thin light crust, airy. Fantastic combination of garlic and oil. The garlic hits, it was the perfect amount. There was also some pesto sprinkled in. Truly decadent. The best white pizza I've had in any form. We also ordered the Bella which also featured their fantastic Prosciutto with greens and balsamic. Their balsamic is next level. Truly delightful. We waited too long to try this place but we'll be back...soon. I highly recommend this as a must do in Five Points.

Yelp
Ordered off of Uber Eats. Pizza wasn't bad but it was not great like I had hoped. The crust was paper thin not to mention very floppy and had no taste to it but at least it wasn't overcooked. I added extra cheese and pepperoni and you really couldn't tell it had extra cheese on there. The sauce did taste decent but overall the amount of substance did not match the price. Not bad but not great. No way this is the best pizza in Jax though.
google avatar

Anthony C.

Yelp
The pizza was good but I did find it a little expensive for what you get. They have a bar area that was not open when we were there and a nice patio area between the buildings. The staff was very nice and the place was very clean.
google avatar

Lisa M.

Yelp
They make their own crust and it is very good. They have specialty pizzas. We chose the Margarita and added pepperoni and sausage. A must have is the Burrata di Oro appetizer. A lot of cheese baked in pizza crust. How could it be wrong.
google avatar

Melanie O.

Yelp
This was such a delicious and friendly pizza joint! The guy on the register gave us a breakdown of all the items on the menu, his favorite and a little bit about all. He was patient and so was the rest of the staff. We tried the classic Margherita and wow 10/10! The sauce, dough and cheese were harmonious together! There were about 3 other groups but it was still a good amount of noise. I will definitely be coming back!
google avatar

Yelp
WOW!!!! Nuff said. The pizza is awesome nothing like it in town. Great service, try the burrata app and the arancini are great too.

Yelp
This some of the best pizza that I've had in my entire life. The crust is so airy and delicious. The service is great!

Yelp
Look at these gorgeous pizzas! Casual, comfortable atmosphere. Small family business with elegantly delicious pies

Yelp
If you have not tried this place you have too!!! It's a great spot to eat outside or even inside. It's beautiful. The owner was so nice, very friendly and answered all the questions we had. I got the Blanca pizza, FANTASTIC. Not over cooked, or dry, perfect amount of toppings. My husband got a normal cheese pizza. And then an appetizer we got a Burrata Di Oro. I could have ate 10 of those. They were amazing, not dry, it was fresh and full of flavor!
google avatar

Swarnendu S.

Yelp
Authentic Neapolitan style pizza at its best. Dessert was really good too. The fluffiness in the crust brought back Milan memories
google avatar

Yelp
Aaaaamazing pizza and desserts! Love the ambiance, especially out back in their secret garden! We have been here a few times in the past month. Bravo!

Nancy S.

Yelp
Trendy and comfortable little pizza shop at five corners. Delicious Caesar salad with homemade dressing that was stellar!! Pizza was great, high quality ingredients baked in a brick oven. Restaurant was narrow and long, so great outdoor spot was sort of hidden next to the bar area ", outdoor area looked comfortable a a nice spot to visit with friends and hang out. Restrooms really clean too. We will be back!
google avatar

Luis D.

Yelp
Excellent Pizza, Calzone. Will return for sure! Alex the owner was really nice. Best Pizza in the area for sure.
google avatar

Lee T.

Yelp
This place is my new favorite pizza in town. I took my wife in a date here last night and I am going back for lunch today. We tried the chefs recommended Georgie's Pizza and the Buratta D'oro. Everything was outstanding. Whatever they do to that bread makes it about the greatest pizza crust I can remember tasting! Check out our photos!
google avatar

Alicia D.

Yelp
Traveling through the area, kids requested pizza so I turned to yelp and came across Rodrigo's! From the phone call to order to walking in to pick up our order the service was helpful and very friendly. We didn't stay to eat but from just walking in I would recommend eating there if time allows as the ambiance was crisp, clean and stylish! Pizza was a nice thin crust with good flavor.
google avatar

Tony M.

Yelp
Incredible pizza. We've needed this type of Pizza in Riverside for years. Rodrigo is nice as heck and knows how to make some serious dough. Will definitely keep coming back.

Katy

Yelp
Speed of service was slow, waited over 30mins to get all my food. Food was alright but not great for the price.
google avatar

Melissa L.

Yelp
Walking in, the atmosphere was so inviting and beautiful. On top of that, we were greeted by the friendly smile. The food was amazing! I got the Blanco pizza and added toppings. We also got the Panna Cotta. Oh it was to die for. 10/10 experience. I will be going back

Amy W.

Yelp
The sweet love panuzzo is my absolute favorite thing to order here! The mixture of flavors is like heaven in your mouth! When you're done eating you don't experience the bloating and tummy issues typically associated with eating pizzas at other places due to their high quality dough and long fermentation process of their dough Go give them a try and you will not want to eat pizza anywhere else ever again!!
google avatar

Nikki P.

Yelp
Tried this place last Thursday and it was delicious. The wings were breaded and so good, the garlic aioli sauce was epic! The dough top notch !Can't wait to go back. So excited for this place! The place is very cute and they Even have a super cute patio area in the front and back. The staff is so nice and friendly!!!
google avatar

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
This is such a lovely spot! The owner perfected his pizza skills in New York before moving to Jax and opening his own pizza shop. It's Neapolitan style and super yummy. The ambience is warm and stylish - and they tailor their wine recommendations to your pizza order. A 10/10 location

Haroon P.

Yelp
By far the best pizza I've had in Jacksonville. From the masterful dough fermentation process to the hospitality, I am, to say the least, impressed. I had the sizzle and drizzle, and ate the whole thing in minutes. It settled well, and I feel great after the meal. 10/10 recommend!
google avatar

Yelp

Yelp
Love the pizza. Extremely clean and service was fantastic. Everyone is so friendly. Was a little concerned trying a new pizza, but first bite I was pleasantly surprised. Will definitely drive half hour to eat here. I will be back!

Yelp
This was absolutely the best pizza we've found in Florida. We are from New York and we've tried many! Most not so great but we will definitely be back!

Yelp
This pizza was so delicious! Definitely my new favorite pizza place. Don't sleep on the desserts either

Yelp
This place is amazing! We had pizza, wings, and a panuozzo and everything was delicious. The restaurant is in a great location in 5 Points and it's really cute inside. The owner is super nice as was everyone else working there. Loved it

Yelp
Best pizza and wings in Jacksonville. Amazing food and owners. Service is 10/10 as well.
