I went here Saturday for a birthday dinner. The staff all around was EXCEPTIONAL. The host was super pleasant and made sure we had a cute table at a booth. She also took pictures of me and my date. The server recommended the most incredible dishes and was really pleasant. The food was tasty and fresh. The ambience was really nice also. The staff really went above and beyond to make the birthday special. I can’t wait to return for the yummy cuisine!

I really enjoyed all the food here! The sushi and rolls were a fantastic way to start—absolutely amazing. The steak was also incredibly flavorful. However, the fried chicken and cocktails were just okay compared to the other dishes. Def coming back to eat sushi or steak

We tried both Happy Hour and dinner in one visit—two very different experiences. Overall, the food was solid. The beer was nothing special, but the cocktails were great. Happy Hour is a better deal, while dinner prices are on the higher side.

Food was amazing!! The service was the fastest I’ve ever had at a nice restaurant. It was even on NYE so they were busy. Very happy with our experience, will be going back!

Stunning grilled meats and fish. The black cod was melt in your mouth, with slightly charred sweet ends. Wagyu beef was fatty with a fragrant oily mouthfeel that was excellent. All the sushi dishes were great, and service was very accommodating to provide the right amount of pieces to fit the number of diners on the table.

I love the ambiance of this place. The service was great! I will definitely go back! The food was displayed beautifully! I definitely want to try more dishes! I had a few I’d never had before, mostly raw fish which I’m not used to eating so the jury still out taste wise on those dishes. I did enjoy some tacos I had. I enjoyed the tempura, California rolls. And some fries. Oh and the drinks were amazing. My date eats here all the time. He enjoyed the fried chicken.

The sorbet was very good. I read somewhere that the panna cotta was really good so I came here only for dessert but I've had a Michelin 1 star panna cotta AND the retired Trader Joe's panna cotta and this one fell too short for its price. It was disappointing compared to those other two especially considering this is a fine dining establishment. It was on the gelatinous side vs creamy. The strawberries were too sour and the ones I have at home taste far better and sweeter+ more aromatic. Hardly any compote and left a lot to be desired. The chef tried to appease me so I can appreciate the customer service and thoughtful gestures but kindness doesn't make up for lacking great taste and texture in my book. Sean, the bartender gave excellent customer service as an extension of the chef and kitchen as well. The GF yuzu smoothie with gold flakes they had me sample was too sweet even though the flavor was aromatic and great. I love sweet things but this was not well balanced. My friend likes smoothies and citrus but this was far too sweet. The fruit bowl was very lovely but not compelling enough because I'm a big spender on quality fruits that are in season and are ripe+ sweet. Subpar fruits won't win me over no matter how beautiful it looks. I'm coming back for the lychee fields cocktail and since Sean said this is a steakhouse, it's probably best to stick to that here

Excellent quality, tasty food, with attentive waitstaff, but sometimes slow kitchen and expensive. Surprisingly popular and crowded on a random Tuesday night. -Miso soup: the mushrooms were an interesting take on this common appetizer. It was refreshing and surprisingly hearty for a miso. -5 piece nigiri chef selection: The chef gave us each tuna tataki, tai, sake, toro and what the waiter said was escolar but actually looked like yellowtail. All of the pieces were topped with modern style seasoning/garnish and all tasted good to great. My favorite was the tuna tataki and least favorite was the mystery white fish. My biggest gripe is that the pieces were a bit small, and at $38, this works out to about $8 a bite. -Hotate nigiri: We ordered an additional pair of scallop on the side (traditional, no seasoning). These were excellent. -Cripsy brussel sprouts: this dish was just OK. They were drenched in a salty brown sauce that sort of overpowered the taste of the brussel sprouts and made them soggy, not crispy. -Glazed baby back ribs: absolutely the best pork ribs I've ever had, hands down. When my partner and I first bit into it, we both made WTF faces of disbelief. The meat was so tender and juicy that you can effortlessly pick it right off the bone with chopsticks. The cashews and onions provided a nice diversity of taste and texture. They were great with and without the ponzu dipping sauce. Overall, it was great food, with only the brussel sprouts being mediocre. For two people, with drinks, it worked out to about $150 per person after tip. Thats about 25% more than the food was worth in my opinion - which isn't egregious, but keeps it from a 5-star rating. If you want to keep costs low, stick with water, as the drinks were exorbitant.
